My 3rd time here so I’m leaving a review for this one! The pizza is a sleeper you think oh no is just pizzas but is it!??! Nope it’s art and passion. My dude Austin created this beautiful pizza for my lunch today. Had one slice had to lock the shop and go tell him how amazing it was! Go check them out the calzones are fabulous!🦩

Ordered a small pizza with ground beef, 1 cheese boat, and creamy Alfredo pasta with grilled chicken, which came with breadsticks. The pizza was ok. It didn't have enough sauce. What little sauce I could taste, it wasn't sweet. The pizza itself was flippy and a bit on the doughy side. I prefer a thinner and crisper pizza. The cheese boat was good. The cheese was very strong, and the bread was floppy. I would eat this again if I could dip it in Marinara. The bread sticks were too plain and bland. The pasta dish is made with spaghetti instead of fettuccine. It was ok. My wife liked it a lot. This goes to show that taste is very subjective. This is a "To Go" only. There are no tables. The staff seemed nice enough. Also, if you buy a drink, don't forget to grab it.

Ive been to this location multiple times and every pizza is amazing, although ive only ordered im very intrigued to try some other options. This family owned business is such a gem in allen , everyone is great . Btw they have beef pepperoni 🍕‼️ i lovr that because there arent many pizza spots that have that option. The pizza is always hot and fresh and tasty and the prices are great . I ordered a large beef and jalapeño pizza it was so yummy ‼️ def come check this place out they have so many great options ‼️

We finally made it to this well-loved family-owned pizza spot in Allen, and it did not disappoint! Every dish is made fresh with premium ingredients, and you can taste the difference in every bite. We couldn’t resist their combination pizza, plus we had to try their creative Nutella S’mores and Apple Pie pizzas—pure genius! And let’s not forget the baked lasagna paired with cheesy bread, which is an absolute must-try. Everything was out-of-this-world delicious! If you’re in the area, this spot is a must-visit.

I have been living in the DFW area for more than 20 years and finally found a restaurant that makes amazing and delicious Mediterranean pizza pies! I also had them cater for my daughter’s 7th birthday party and every pizza was to die for! Arguably one of the best pizza shops in Allen, if not the entire DFW metroplex. Will definitely recommend this shop a 10/10 experience!

Google
Crazy Tomato is HANDS DOWN the best pizza spot in the DFW! We got the cheese bread. The pizza crust is perfect, toppings always fresh, and flavor is on another level. The calzones and dessert pizzas are amazing too. Staff was super friendly and welcoming when we went. Definitely my new go to pizza place

Google
Usually small business pizza shops only know how to make one item and that’s pizza. This place has perfected their calzones, pasta, cheesebreads, salads and desserts! Consistently the best pizza shop in town and super friendly management :))

Google
When I had a crazy request, I knew exactly who to ask—Crazy Tomato! I asked for a heart-shaped pizza with stuffed crust, and they absolutely delivered. Not only was it delicious, but they also told me they had never made stuffed crust before—though they definitely should, because it was amazing! Yum!

Yelp
The food is really good and you get a great size for the price with great tasting ingredients. My personal favorite is the Crazy Rooster but adding chicken to it makes it taste even better! Service is good with friendly people to fit the great pizza!

Yelp
The food is always good! Service is always spot on. The ambiance doesn't happen till I get this wonderful pizza home!! This is the place to get a pizza. You can't eat here. Space is non existent. But who cares when the food is top notch. This is my go to pizza place! Don't forget to tip! No need to be cheap folks. They work to make US HAPPY! 2025

Yelp
I happened to find myself here after going through Braums drive thru and it was closed. Of course I yelped it first, before ordering and it has great reviews! I ordered online and went inside to pick up. It's a 100% to go restaurant. I walked 3' into the entryway, right up to their 4' tall counter for pick up. The guy who was working last night was very sweet, timely and meticulous! I ordered a side Mediterranean salad, their pepperoni rolls, a pepperoni calzone and an apple pizza, all to try and see what I liked best. The salad was terrible, it was mostly solid hard white and brown pieces of a head of iceberg lettuce, yuck! The onions were supposed to be red onions, but they were white, second yuck. The pepperoni rolls are not your classic rolls, I thought they were going to be. They were ok, I forgot to order Ranch, maybe they would have tasted better? The calzone is large enough for 3 meals, but it was terrible, it's mostly my fault. Somehow I chose to add meatballs, which I hate, instead of mushrooms, ugh! I was so hungry, as it was 5pm, and I hadn't had a bite of food all day. I was so looking forward to the salad and calzone, and they were both terrible :( Note to self, make sure you've chosen to add mushrooms and not meatballs to your calzone, oh boy. And lastly, the apple pizza was good. However, had I known the amount of icing it's made with, I would have ordered it without the icing, it was a bit much and made the pie overly sweet. So not the best experience, partially my fault. If I go back, I think I'll try their pizza and make sure I choose mushrooms and not meatballs as a second topping!

Yelp
We had a Alfredo sauce 7 cheese pizza and added meatballs to it. The crust was a little thicker than I like but it had an amazing flavor. The meatballs were thinly sliced and had a great texture and flavor. The pizza overall was delicious. The staff that created me were friendly and helpful. This was first time here and we will definitely be back.

Yelp
If you like salty pizza, this is for place is for you, I guess. We like supporting local establishments in town but we threw away 2 pizzas after a few bites at home. That's not a figure of speech, and I know how wasteful that sounds but it wasn't something we could eat. Even after pulling off the cheese and toppings what was left was still sooo salty. We see the high reviews and are scratching our heads. I'm not sure if the dough maker and sauce maker weren't paying close attention to measuring ingredients or what. The staff was quick with our order. It was ready right away, so I'll give them that.

Yelp
Hole in the wall, all take out. Fantastic pizza. I love that their toppings are not huge slices of onion and mushroom or bell peppers. They are chopped and spread over the pie. Solid. Crust was tasty and crisp. Nice people working there when I went to pick up my order. Enjoyed it.

Yelp
It was odd to decline a Visa Debit gift card while accepting my Visa Debit card. Not sure if there are fees so they decline.? We ordered and small Santa Fe & medium florentine. Both look great. Soft crust but still holds the very watery, soggy toppings. That's usually a problem & super soggy in the middle, falling apart, toppings sliding off the center. Didn't happen here. :) Was very little sauce on the Santa Fe, maybe because of wet toppings, so it tasted "watery" without the rich base but still very good. The Florentine made me laugh. I expected fresh spinach. The style is like creamed spinach at German restaurants. A garlic spinach base. Perfect for me who loves Ghormeh Sabzi so now I'm wondering if Persians are keeping it on the menu? Lol. Most I know would be mad about this. I loved it though. The person answering was very nice too.

Lisa ..

Yelp
We are picky about our pizza and hands down this is the best pizza in Allen! Great taste, crispy crust and good toppings.

Yelp
After a most unfortunate experience approx. 3 weeks ago, in which our take & bake pie did not include 1) the cooking instructions ( which is VERY critical ) and 2) did not include a "signature" ingredient- which really makes their pies special - we returned to "give it another try". This time I walked inside to place my order. I was greeted by a nice young man who also appeared to be the manager and / or " lead pie maker". He took my order and did pay special attention to a minor custom request. The pie was ready in @ 15 minutes as promised. The same young man gave me my pie, upon which I immediately opened the box to check a few things. Everything appears great- especially the inclusion of the missing item form my last order. UNFORTUNATELY, the box did not include ANY instructions of how to cook when you get home. The instructions are VERY CRITICAL due to TWO VERY SPECIFIC items that must be followed to prevent problems when cooking at home. I asked the young man about the lack of these very important instructions, to which he apologized and looked around and in the office to no avail. He did offer to text the information to me - which was completed within 10 minutes. This simple yet critical oversight which was repeated within a few weeks is simply not acceptable. I do need to add that the pie turned out to be wonderful. Apparently a new owner (? ?) needs to pay attention to one of the most critical elements of this otherwise wonderful and unique pizza shop.

Yelp
imagine this. It's lunchtime. You want pizza. You go online to crazytomato.net to order your triple pepperoni, black olive and mushroom pizza. you hit add to cart.. and notice that you forgot to say delivery. so you go up to change to delivery and the only option is a 4:45 pm delivery time. Its noon. Its lunch time. I guess Crazy Tomato really is Crazy. What do you think happens next ? I'm not a big box pizza fan; in fact, I hate corporate pizza places. but at least they deliver at lunchtime. I cant eat your food if you cant get it to me. (and door dash sucks.. it's always cold.. and fees and tips expected are always extreme). Maybe Napolis delivers.

Yelp
Crazy Tomatoes has the MOST DELICIOUS & SCRUMPTIOUS Pepperoni Pizza with jalapeños! It's cooked to perfection every time and they also have a cinnamon roll pizza for dessert. I'll always order my pizza here. They welcome everyone with a smile. Price is reasonable and atmosphere is clean and convenient. I only hope they expand to other locations like Celina, Tx. We drive from Celina to Crazy Tomatoes all the time. It's well worth it. Sometimes we eat it all on the drive back home. They are by far 5 Stars +.

Yelp
Flavorful, great value, on time, super nice staff. The portion of the sub was great, packed full of meatballs. Pizza crust was super chewy and delicious. Perfect proportion of cheese and sauce.

Yelp
I asked for a heart-shaped pizza, and Crazy Tomato aced it! It was perfection. My husband loved every bite. We'll be back to try other toppings and menu items.

Yelp
Ordered online and when i arrived they heard me wrong but were quick to fix it! Great service and phenomenal food.Good price too. A good quick and easy place to pick up pie.

Yelp
I ordered a couple things since I had never been here before and let me tell you. Everything was SO GOOD. Pretty darn good gluten free pizza and I got a regular pepperoni "take n bake". The staff was super awesome and texted me detailed instructions (which were easy to follow and i couldnt lose the paper instructions lol). I will definitely be back!!

Yelp
Crazy Tomato is such a treat! I live nearby and anytime we need pizza, we skip over all the other guys and roll with Crazy Tomato. My favorite is by far the Crazy Crazy pizza, or Crazy Crazy calzone, or even the Crazy Crazy dipping sauce. If it has "crazy crazy" in front of it- I'm IN! I think it's a mix of buffalo sauce and ranch sauce... whatever it is, it's what I order every time. The flavors blend together so well and it's unlike any other pizza sauce I've had. They don't have a dine-in option so you call in your order and scoop it up at their restaurant. Lastly, I love that they're local. Big fan of supporting small. Try these guys out!
google avatar

Džana A.

Yelp
Always a good pizza choice! The owner is sweet and so are the employees! Try the California pizza on thin crust! It's yummy!
google avatar

Mark R.

Yelp
We got a medium, thin crust pepperoni. Good pizza. Nice crust, spicy sauce, and just the right amount of cheese. Check it out!
google avatar

Ryanne D.

Yelp
The pizza was amazing and had so many flavors. They had good different open rooms to w pizza toppings that it made it more interesting. Pricing was fair. We called ahead and didn't have to wait too long, it was a Thursday night, but fairly quick and the pizzas clearly just came out of the oven. It is not a dine in facility, take out or delivery. So it was a small place. Obviously warm too because the kitchen is right there. Will return and try other items on the menu.

Yelp
Absolutely LOVE their Caribbean pizza. The service is also friendly and accommodating. You won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Jamie M.

Yelp
Tried Crazy Tomato tonight and it was fantastic!! Called in my order and the customer service was so kind and helpful. Was able to customize a few of the specialty pizzas. They were not stingy with the toppings, taking them all the way to the edge of the crust. Was ready in about 20 minutes. This will be our go to pizza spot from here on out. Definitely a hidden gem in Allen.
google avatar

Yelp
Ordered several times for pick up, food was hot and ready when promised. The prices are very reasonable. Pizza is great and the staff is super friendly.
google avatar

Yelp
Great pizza! It's not like chain pizza joints! So much better! Owners and staff provide great customer service!

Jeff E.

Yelp
They most likely deserve a 5. I just don't give many 5's. I'm from Houston visiting. Ordered pizza to go. Crazy meat or something? Great Pizza! Never really wasted sauce like this pizza has. Toppings first class. Ok call it 5. Great Pizza. Fast. Hot.
google avatar

Eva M.

Yelp
I ordered the gluten free small pizza with sausage. I let them know I had an allergy. I have celiac and I did not get sick so that is a win. Pizza was pretty good 7/10!

Everett M.

Yelp
My favorite pizza spot in Allen. They have gluten free for the MIL. Good spaghetti too.

Katie D.

Yelp
Ordered a calzone - taste was good but it was soggy. Thinking that could have been prevented if they didn't cut it in half? Or maybe it was type I had because of the ingredients.

Michael S.

Yelp
Food was great and nice delivery person! I will definitely try this pizza place again. I love their calzone and it was so big - a full meal itself.
google avatar

Angela T.

Yelp
Our family LOVES Crazy Tomato. Pizza is always delicious. I have to eat Gluten Free and their Margarita Pizza on Gluten Free crust never disappoints, one of our go to.

Mireyda M.

Yelp
Soooooo good! New regular pizza place when I'm in Allen I tried the 1/2 and 1/2 specialty pizza with the combo and chicken bacon ranch and it really hit the spot. Very polite gentleman at the front too!

Sharon S.

Yelp
The food is delicious. Top rate! The delivery seems to always be a problem and running behind. Last time we ordered it was 30 minutes after promised. This time it was 20 minutes late after promised. They are having problems with delivery drivers and keeping them which I understand, but it is not acceptable to always be this late.

Yelp
It's like the tastiest quality food in this area and Tony makes you feel like FAMILY! They care and they VALUE their customers with superb and super friendly service but the most delicious recipes out there for take out... we take out several times weekly ...SUBS are aMAZING AND the MEAT Pizzas ARE the best quality!!!

Lewis B.

Yelp
Great food and service. Ordered the calzones and was not disappointed. We also ordered the pepperoni pizza rolls.

John T.

Yelp
Love the white pie pizza. Pizzas are always spot on. Great customer service. I like the pizza well done and their sauce has a nice garlic taste.

Chris C.

Yelp
A friend and I decided to randomly try this place and ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger pizza, we ended up liking it so much we ordered the same thing the next day, and then a week later! Now, I haven't tried anything else there yet, but in my opinion this is a darn good pizza. Completely consistent quality all three times. I met two different gentleman manning the front when I picked up, and both were very friendly and personable each time. The price of an extra-large is completely reasonable, in my opinion. It's worth checking out. Thanks Crazy Tomato, I'll be back again!

P J.

Yelp
This is one of the best pizzas around! From them answering the phone until checkout. Good old school pizza vibe. A great pizza at a reasonable price.

Yelp
1000000000/10 forget the average papa John's, Dominoes, Pizza Hut and the rest!! This is the small pizza place you run around the city looking for!! Greeted by the owner with a smile ear to ear upon arrival and felt as though I was part of the fam!! And the food delivered the same feel this isn't your average pizza served in every neighborhood joint the crust was fluffy and the sauces paired so well together. We ordered the cheesy bread, sausage pizza and cheese pizza and were blown away by the taste. I speak for my whole family when I say we've found our new pizza spot and are recommending Crazy Tomato to everyone!!

Yelp
First time ordering from here. We've been tying to find some good pizza places in Allen after Vinnis closed down. Anyway we decided to try this place and we Called at 5:52 and pizza arrived at 7:10. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza and first impressions had us excited to delve into it. First bite, I could tell the quality of the cheese and the sauce they used was very flavorful. You can really taste the basil in the sauce. It's not too sweet but it's got that good marinara taste. No one hate me, but it almost reminds me a little bit of Costco pizza (which I absolutely love) Now onto the crust. I really wanted to like the crust but after reading reviews on how undercooked the dough was, and then seeing it midway through my slice, it made me have mixed feelings. It's weird because the outside of the crust and the bottom of it has a nice slight crunchy, baked texture, but then in the middle of the pizza you get this gummy texture that kind to sticks to your teeth due to it not being baked enough. But at the same time, the deliciousness of the toppings made me not even care. Overall, my two complaints were the dough and the long delivery time (but with it being a family business and them probably being short-staffed, I shrugged it off. Undecided if I will be ordering from here again. No negative opinions on it, but not crazy about it either. Regardless I appreciate their business!

Arthur H.

Yelp
The crazy tomato impressed me with both its affordable prices and delicious pizza. The staff was incredibly friendly, making it a delightful experience overall. What stood out about this pizza place was their great prices without compromising on quality. The pizza had a perfect balance of crispy crust, fresh toppings, and gooey cheese. It is evident that they not only use high-quality ingredients, but also don't charge an arm and a leg for it either. The gentleman I usually speak to on the phone during the evening hours is probably the most informative and helpful staff member of any pizza restaurant I have ever encountered. I highly recommend this pizza place for its affordable prices, tasty pizza, and friendly staff. It's a great choice for a satisfying and budget-friendly meal.

Steve J.

Yelp
Love the meatball calzone. Pizzas have been good also. Takeout service has always been solid. No issues.

Cecil T.

Yelp
Good pizza. House was split on the crust, will try the thin crust next time. Toppings were plentiful.

Smit J.

Yelp
Excellent and affordable pizza! Staff is super friendly and helpful. Our new favorite pizza place!

Yelp
My fiancé and I just moved to town a bit ago, we ordered over the phone, the person who took our order was so helpful and hilarious! We went to pick up and our order was perfect, hot, and beyond good! We will be back! We got two calzones, one Pepperoni and one Chicken Alfredo! It was so filling and plenty we had so much leftover! (Which we were warned about lol)
google avatar

Bruce C.

Yelp
Overcooked everything; bland; disappointing; Pepperoni roll had no pepperoni in the two pieces on each end ~1/3 of the whole thing. Thin crust meat crazy pizza-lg; meh Garlic bread sticks- lg; gross Pepperoni Roll -lg waste of $

Yelp

Yelp
I can't rate this on the actual food. This is based on customer service. The reason I'm leaving a 1 star is because I call to place an order and the phone is answered " crazy tomato pizza, we are swamped with orders right now, is this for pick up or delivery?" I responded with " delivery please" he says " you have 3 online orders ahead of you please hold"...so I hang up. I understand it's probably busy right now. Which I would believe is good for business right? That's great. But don't be rude to me because you are busy. I would have understood if he put it nicely, but this dude was really short with me. So I ordered elsewhere.
