The food was delicious and this place is usually packed. I would suggest making a reservation. I had the lamb with spring onions and portions were large.

Google
Just had the drunken noodles, this place never disappoints! So good! The only problem the food is so good I forget to take a picture before I start eating! Great food! Inexpensive too! Great Pho! Great Poké! Great General Tso's!

Very yummy vitaminese coffee and avocado smoothie. Our food was also yummy. About 9$ for lunch time curry

Cre-Asian is a hidden gem that truly delivers on both flavor and atmosphere. This cozy restaurant, specializing in Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine, immediately caught my attention with its charming decor—each table set with a delicate flower bouquet, adding a warm and inviting touch. I ordered the Duong Chau Fried Rice and the Hue Spicy Noodle Soup (Pho), and both dishes exceeded my expectations. The fried rice was the standout for me—perfectly seasoned, with a great balance of ingredients and a satisfying texture. Every bite was flavorful, with just the right amount of wok hei (that smoky, charred essence). The Hue Spicy Noodle Soup was equally impressive, offering a rich, aromatic broth with a deep, savory spice that wasn’t overpowering but packed just enough heat to keep things interesting. Service was friendly and efficient, making the experience even better. If you’re craving authentic, well-executed Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine in a cozy setting, Cre-Asian is a must-visit!

Google
Restaurant was clean and the staff was fantastic. The use of peanut in the pho broth gave it a delicious sweet/savory flavor and the noodle salad we had surpassed my expectations. This was my first time but definitely won’t be my last.

Google
The food is flavorful, plentiful, and makes you want more. If you like Thai/Vietnamese/Chinese food, this is the place to go. Everything was excellent and more than enough to fill you up. They adjust the spice level for you but be warned their definition of spicy is HOT!

Google
I got the pork and beef pho and a pork banh mi. The pho portion is extremely generous more than enough for 2 people. Taste was excellent lots of meat. Love the fact that they put the noodles separately. The banh mi was great. I wish they had banh mi with Pate like in Vietnam but maybe there wouldn't be a market for it here. Grea t food.

Google
We just moved to the area. My son and I were looking for a place to get Pho and found this gem!!! It is absolutely delicious. We had the chicken Pho and drunken noodles. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Very kind and friendly service. Very clean as well! I got the lunch portion of the Pad See Ewe with tofu and it was very fresh and delicious! The noodles looked fresh cut! I will definitely be back and am excited to get this dish again as well as to try other new to me dishes!

Yelp
Very good and great service. The curry had very good flavor. Spring rolls were a good appetizer.

Yelp
The food was really delicious, and the service was excellent. Everything was reasonably priced. I used to go to Bowl of Pho, but I'm glad I made the switch to Cre-Asian. I'll definitely be returning!

Yelp
There is a couples Vietnamese restaurant around the South Bend area. And Cre-Asian is being one of them. Beside some of the typical offering of Vietnamese food, they also have a mix of Chinese food and it gear toward Taiwanese specifically. One of my favorite from the appetizer would be the Cre-Asian Rolls. It is packed with spicy ground pork, shrimp, carrots, white onions, green onions, clear noodles and taro. One thing special from this is they used the rice paper instead of the typical egg roll wrapper. After slightly deep fried, the rice paper add another level of crispiness to it. Along with the sweet garlic sauce, super yummy. Other than the Cre-Asian Rolls, the Chicken Satay and Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken is pretty good as well. From the noodles soup perspective, I tried the Hue Spicy Noodles Soup and they are decent. They may left out a couple ingredients from an typical authentic bowl of Hue Spicy Noodles Soup, but the flavor of the broth can make up to it. I would prefer the noodles itself can cook a couple more minutes, as it is still on the harder side. Overall, I would say they are pretty decent compare to others in the local area. Of course we can not compare it to some offering in the big city and some of the ingredients that they use can be improve. But if you are looking for a spot for your temporary Vietnamese/Chinese food craving, they are not a bad option in the South Bend area.

Yelp
I was passing through South Bend and found this exceptional Asian restaurant. I had a lunch of Szechuan dumplings and Taiwanese beef noodle soup. Both were delicious. I saw many other things on the menu that I'd love to try if I pass through South Bend again. The staff were courteous and the ambiance was nothing fancy, but pleasant.

Yelp
Fusion! I ordered egg rolls (2), cre-Asian roll (2), appetizer platter, lunch sized pad see ew and spicy hue pho. The egg rolls were okay, it's grounded chicken which is interesting. I enjoyed the cre-Asian rolls which is not a regular wonton wrapper but The fish sauce dip it comes with was tasty. The appetizer platter was good, gives you a chance to try a bunch of different things. The lunch sized pad see ew and spicy hue pho which I got both with chicken and medium spicy heat but I didn't feel any in the pad see ew but you can definitely taste it in the hue!

Yelp
This was highly recommended and I was disappointed. I got a noodle bowl, it had no seasoning or sauce. I would try again, but definitely get something else.

Yelp
Order the chicken dish, smelt and Pho, all delicious! Totally surprise on our road trip

Yelp
This is our go-to place after Notre Dame home games. So much so that the staff recognizes us and knows our orders! We love the CreAsian Bowl, the Pho Special, the Wonton with Egg Noodle Soup, the Tapioca Noodles, Pork Chop Rice Bowl - we have never had a bad meal here! The portions are massive and the prices reasonable. Washrooms and dining room clean. Save room for a smoothie for dessert!

Yelp
I live in California so the flavor of the food is different here but this is still a very solid place. Based on their hip menu items I was surprised how unassuming and modest the interior of the restaurant is. It is warm and inviting to have a nice family meal. The service is a bit slow but they have a lot of orderers to juggle. It's quite a popular place for a good reason. I only got pork and shrimp spring rolls but they were delicious.

Paqui K.

Yelp
Great food and service. Eating in or take out you won't be disappointed. Chicken Pho bowl, spring rolls, and crab rangoon are favorites done well.

Alicia S.

Yelp
Amazing food and the most friendly service you'll find! This is a hidden gem! Highly recommend the Beef Pho and Pad Thai! ~Nurse Alicia

Yelp
Food came out quick and they had us try a plate of spicy beef in addition to our order. Lunch menu is way to go fed 3 of us under $40 including appetizer.

Yelp
Food is delicious and service is excellent and friendly! The food is always fresh and prepared according to your preferences

Brad S.

Yelp
One of the few places to get good vegetarian food in South Bend. Had the hot and sour soup which was ample and delicious. And they deliver.

Les S.

Yelp
Noodles were salty and overcooked. Orange chicken tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lank for 3 days. Don't recommend.

Yelp
I graduated from ND this year but for the four years I was there, Cre-Asian was my go to. The food was consistent and very good. The vibe in the restaurant was always positive and upbeat. The servers were really kind and quick. Most of my meals were delivery. They handle their own delivery and the guy is very fast. I even ordered on my birthday one year and despite the crazy snow, they still delivered and the food was still hot. My favorite meals were the pho special, curry fried rice, and frozen chai tea with boba. The large pho is also massive so if you're really hungry, I recommend sizing up.

Yelp
I started with an order of spring roll which came with 2 roll's sorry ate one before I took the picture. Then I ordered the Cre-Asian Rice plate which was served with a nicely prepared pork chop, fried egg, Chinese sausage, and salad served on a bed of white rice and a pickled dipping sauce. The Ambiance was quite nice with friendly workers. I really enjoyed the food I've ordered, and surely would return.

Yelp
PROS: They have a lot of options. Thai food, Vietnamese food, + Chinese food. The service is very nice and friendly. The staff remember names and faces very well, which makes regulars feel great and want to keep coming back! The inside is well organized and clean enough to make it feel not too fancy. The workers speak mandarin; which is a plus for those working on their Chinese listening skills. The Food comes out fast and is Hot to the touch. CONS: They do not have Asian music playing. When most eat a certain foods they usually want to feel immersed in the culture. The Food is GREASY! While traveling the world I can not recall Asian food this greasy. The PHO is not legit at all. If you think this is legit PHO you need to visit ( PHO-ANN) in Nashville TN! All other foods are good except the Vietnamese food.

Anita W.

Yelp
Stopped in recent to grab a bite for lunch. Not only was the food excellent but the dipping sauce for the egg rolls was 100% better than the last time :) Staff was very friendly and fast too.

Yelp
So thrilled to have found this gem in South Bend on pit stop on a road trip. As a vegetarian, you usually have to compromise when you're in smaller cities, but our lemongrass tofu sandwiches were PERFECTION.

Yelp
I don't want to give a 5 star review to keep this place to myself, heehee, but they absolutely absolutely hands-down deserve it. The pho here is beyond delicious and I've had a smattering of other really yummy dishes here, but downright WEEKLY CRAVE my go-to, pho satay extra beef level 7 spicy no cilantro. Always start with crab rangoons. On a realllly hungry day I finish the lunch portion, but dinner is massive. Always leftovers. The restaurant is clean and service is prompt even when they're full. This is one of my favorite locally owned places because there's nothing else like it. And to add to the delightful experience here, I adore the servers - Olivia is a proper gem and a genuinely kind and client-centric person with a warm welcoming demeanor. She remembers details with a genius-level memory that I am deeply envious of. She absolutely elevates our experience every time we dine here and draws us back in wanting to visit her like a close friend. Customer service is just not like this at a casual restaurant almost ANYWHERE anymore. So don't delay or hesitate. You'll find a beyond satisfying meal and experience at Cre-Asian, and find your brain and stomach longing to return for service with a smile and good eats.

Yelp
We've been to many Thai/Pan Asian restaurants all over the Midwest. The quality of food was at Cre-Asian was excellent.we look forward to returning in our next visit!

Yelp
Amazing combination of Asian cuisine!!! I enjoy Asian culture and food especially-this hit the spot! Such friendly staff and although a pretty packed restaurant, we were served pretty quickly. The PHO WAS OFF THE CHAIN. the curry was spicy but amazing. Try the Cre-Asian spring rolls! Everything was amazing.

Yelp
I usually order some basic items, such as General Tso Chicken. It was excellent and enough for two people! Always enjoy their food!

Yelp
According to my Chinese friends Cre-Asian has the best Chinese food in South Bend, and for the most part they prefer it to Ichiban Golden Dragon. I've only been once and was not impressed with the quality of the dishes I tried. My Vietnamese friend likes their bun bo hue - she said it's not authentic at all but the taste is good. She also says that a lot of the dishes on their Vietnamese menu are not Vietnamese at all (but it's possible that they also taste good anyway). They have a spiciness scale of 1-10, but it's on the mild side. We got our spicy dishes at level 8 and it was probably more of a 3 or 4. Recommended: -Eggplant and salty fish with pork ($11.95) - nothing mind-blowing but pretty good. It's pretty much what the name suggests. -Three cup chicken or rice wine chicken - I haven't tried these but friends have told me that they're good and very similar to each other. OK: -Mapo tofu ($8.50) - more like soft tofu in chili sauce (no meat), without any Sichuan peppercorn. The flavor is fine but I think Ichiban's version is better. -Ginger chicken ($10.95) - pretty average stir-fried chicken. Not recommended: -Pork intestine with preserved vegetables ($11.95) - I'm not sure why but the intestine was extremely soft to the point where it felt like skin. -Seafood combo ($13.95) - the seafood quality is not good. It contains assorted seafood including shrimp, squid, and fish balls, much of which was soft and mushy.

Yelp
This place is always great. Food is always perfect and service is good. It will probably be a bit busy... because it has been anytime we have been there. The wait is never bad though.

Bryan E.

Yelp
I come to Cre-Asian a few times a year and it's always super great. The food is fresh, nothing comes out of a bag. The prices are good, the portions are so big, you will be taking food home. So watch how much you order. But everything is good every time and you will NOT leave feeling sick.

Yelp
Just wanted to jump on here to write an update. My first review was back in 2018 when I was just passing through and the food was amazing! Fast forward to now, I now live in the area and this place is by far my favorite place to eat. Their veggie pho is amazing. My mom actually got the chicken pho and said that she liked the broth of the veggie pho better. I also love their drunken noodles and their sesame tofu (not on the menu but they will make it). I appreciate that they have an entire menu just for vegetarian options. That is honestly what brought me in the door. But they have great meat options as well. I've brought several non-vegetarians here and they all loved it. Anyway, I could probably go on and on about this place, but just know it is amazing and you should try it.

Lisa R.

Yelp
Amazing, great food. Very clean. Super nice people. One of the best places to eat in South Bend!

Mary S.

Yelp
This was my first time ordering from here, and we did carry-out. I wanted something that had vegetables and meat, and settled on the panang curry. It sounded appealing with the green beans, carrots, peas and corn. Unfortunately the vegetables resembled those from a frozen package - they were cut into small pieces (carrots were little squares, corn was single kernels) and overcooked. The curry sauce was tasty but more of a thin soup consistency. On a positive note, the chicken in the panang curry was of high quality, and the side order of spring rolls was very fresh. Service was friendly. Ambiance looked appealing when we picked up the order.

Yelp
I've heard about this place for quite awhile. Was in the area and decided to try it. The vegetable pho was exceptional! Great experience all the way around.

Yelp

Yelp
A hidden gem tucked into a small building needing many updates. Don't let the condition of the building deter you from experiencing an amazingly delicious meal. The food is prepared to your specific taste; you can choose to have your meal be mild or spicy. Each dish we have eaten is super tasty. The wait staff are kind, attentive, and keep your drinks filled. We will definitely add Cre-Asian to our list of favorite restaurants, and we will be back soon.

Yelp
10000/10 Service is always fast and professional. Good is always bussin. Chile when I say they are worth breakfast, lunch , and dinna. I never had a bad experience.

Yelp
I like it. They also prepare food very quickly. So that's cool. I will eat here again.

Yelp
The wings were amazing! And the pot stickers are very good! I ordered an entrée with a spice level of 7 and it wasn't spicy at all, I will try a 9 or 10 next time.

Yelp
I've been searching for the best Pho in the city and I think found it! Very flavorful and fresh tasting. The spring rolls were huge and tasty. Ordered carry out and staff was polite and prompt. Will certainly return

Randy J.

Yelp
It says open till 830 on here and on the front door. We showed up at 8 and were told the kitchen closes at 8. Don't say you're open till 830 then.

Yelp
I loved my tofu pho and tofu spring rolls. We were seated immediately. It took about 15-20 minutes to start getting our food. Within 45 minutes we finally got our last pho soup. We had a party of 4 and we each enjoyed every food item we ordered. My nephew did mention that he didn't care for the mayo in his chicken lemongrass bahn mi. Although I had the tofu pho, the broth was packed with so much flavor. I loved the texture of the vegetables and the noodles. My family and I will definitely visit this place again.
google avatar

Aran L.

Yelp
I'm a bit confused as to how the reviews are so favorable. To be fair, I've only come for lunch, and usually order a lunch special. Perhaps I'm missing something. I don't think their food is great. I've had the drunken noodles, the Cre-Asian noodles, and the pad thai. They all tasted the same to me - they all have a weird, sweet/overly vinegary taste. And it's all pretty greasy. I've occasionally picked at my husband's fried rice - I thought it was equally mediocre, but he seems to like it. I do think that their spring rolls are decent, and the lunch special prices are great.

Frank D.

Yelp
The pho was very good, appetizers equally tasty. The staff/waitress was attentive, friendly and help explain the dishes. There was adequate parking and dining area was clean. Would recommend

Ken D.

Yelp
This place is amazing. Great food choices and fantastic service. The menu is extensive. Many Vietnamese, Chinese and Taiwanese items to choose from.

Yelp
Great food and service on a very busy Friday night before a Notre Dame home game. Super fresh, very accommodating staff. The owner was very involved in managing, service etc. we will definitely be back!

Yelp
Best Chinese/Vietnamese restaurant in South Bend! Consistently been going here for the last year at least once or twice a month and have never been dissatisfied. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful when deciding on dishes and always willing to customize your dish to be the best for you. I love that when you're asking for something spicy, you're getting something spicy. Our go to's: the spring rolls (A MUST!!!), Creasian bowl (so fresh and delicious) & the orange chicken (always crispy and the perfect amount of sauce). We always leave with leftovers the next day and I'm convinced the Creasian bowl is even better the next day...if that is even possible. Also love the Mi Quang Noodles, pad see ew (not crispy), and Szechuan green beans. Yum! Unfortunately not much seating available in the restaurant and it gets pretty packed around lunch/dinner times (good signs, but a disappointment...not suited for larger groups).

Yelp
This is one of the best restaurants in the area. The salt n pepper smelt with xtra garlic and jalapeños (ask for it) is superb. So are the other Vietnamese and Chinese dishes! The service and staff are wonderful. No wonder we are regulars! You be a regular too!
