Creamistry Ice Cream

What a great place. The ice cream was so smooth and creamy. Was in town for business and was walking around in the area and saw this place and I thought I would stop in. I ordered the sea salt caramel. It was fantastic. The only thing that was a disappointment was the waffle. It was soggy and oily. But aside from that, I would recommend. The young lady behind the counter was so cheerful and friendly.

This was an awesome experience. They use liquid nitrogen to make the cream freeze and it comes out so creamy and smooth. There’s such a wide selection of flavors and toppings. To top everything off, the owner has such a fun and entertaining personality! As she stated: when you’re dealing with ice cream, everything has to be fun! You’ve got to try this place!

Such a fun and unique experience! My friend and I randomly stopped in and were pleasantly surprised to find out that this isn’t your typical ice cream shop. Z was so helpful in explaining the menu and the process of making the ice cream. Watching the ice cream get made was so cool! Most importantly it tasted good too. Overall a fantastic spot and we will be coming back!

Malika, the owner is just amazing. We were there to grab some ice-cream for our lil birthday girl, and she was so sweet that she made our birthday girls day extra extra special. She made her do tricks with the nitrogen even gave her a free ice cream and best part the ice creams are just amazing. Gonna keep coming back.❤️

The ice cream is very creamy. So delicious. They also sell ice cream cakes and pies. I ordered the affogato, best one I’ve had! The young ladies making the ice cream did not interact with the customers at all. And seemed like they didn’t want to be there. They could’ve been a lot more friendly. And the wait was pretty long.

This place was ok. It’s fun to watch the liquid nitrogen bubbling out while making the ice cream for the kids. It’s rather pricey and the ice cream is creamy but the flavor in my opinion wasn’t anything to rave about. It was busy but still found seating. Not sure if we’ll go again but it was an experience.

Do yourself a favor. Order a strawberry shortcake. You won’t regret it. They made it better than the pic I received on my email. Mind you my emails go to junk, I’m adding them as a safe sender bc man this here is good.

First time here & my experience was nothing short of amazing. Ice cream was delicious service was top tier. Left with a smile and a empty cup 🥰

If I can give this review 0 stars I would. Came on a wednesday night, with two employees behind the counter. One employee took our order while the other was prepping orders. It started when we were placing our order, one employee was distracted while taking our order and the other one was refusing to call out the order and asking the employee who was helping us to call it out because she was confused on how to pronounce the name of the customer. Waited at least 25/30 minutes and watched both employees prepare orders inefficiency from previous customers. Each group waiting before us had to wait for all the orders to come out individually instead of them being prepared for their group. Finally get our order and it was wrong and the didnt even start the second order of ice cream we asked for. A third employee ( I'm assuming they were one) came in with a pizza not wearing creamistry attire amd proceeded to walk behind the counter. We asked for a refund since we were tired of waiting and still had to wait for half of our order to be remade and the other to be started. They grabbed the pizza lady to help them while she was still refusing to put down her slice of pizza. One employee had to grab it from her so she can process our refund. To say this was the worst experience I've had is a understatement. I've visited other creamistries and have never had a experience like this. Definitely would not come here ever.

We waited about 25 minutes for probably the worst ice cream we have ever had (it was $14 after tax for one ice cream, and the portion size was tiny). I got the brownie special one and not only did it have 0 chocolate flavor, it didn't even taste like ice cream. It tasted like sugarless ice cream. Didn't know that was possible. The staff were unprofessional and they weren't even busy. We will never go again. We should have asked for a refund. 2 ice creams cost us $30.

I had no idea this was supposed to be some science experiment ice cream shop. I saw ice cream as I was peeping through the window and door and went inside. Of course, I was looking for the real butter pecan. But what I got instead was just as yummy! So, what I'm told is that they use liquid nitrogen to freeze the ice cream. The only problem is that I like my ice cream really cold and hard. Now this concept isn't bad at all, I realized I apparently like my ice cream they way its made here. Not overly frozen and smooth. So the moral of the story is to always try new things!

Unless you want to wait 20+ minutes, I wouldn't suggest you come here. The place is really small and there's hardly any seating to wait. This place is also super pricey for the quality. There are other better options for ice cream in this area.

Great service and selection. The inside looks so fun and clean. Parking is normally easy to find if you come at the right times. Lots of options and they can make substitutions for non-dairy too.

Waited so long for our order. They were unprofessional and way different from the last time I came here. The ice cream was horrible!!!!! again, last time I came here the ice cream was great. It has changed. The girls working just lolly gag.

i'm not big a desert person but i love icecream and this place got the cool effects of the liquid nitrogen spraying out fog into your icecream. Reminds me if you at the Stereo live and they shooting like the smoke machine when the base drops. So check it out. Im basic so i like my cookies and cream at most places. so go for that.

This place is amazing! Took my little volleyball kid for a treat and they are so welcome. They gave her the whole experience and she loved it! Will be coming back! This icecream is amazing!

After 20 minutes of waiting I got the wrong order. They were not kind. They were not welcoming. The store was not busy they were just slow. And the tables were very dirty. And it taste like milk.!.!

I get the brownie batter (coconut milk) w/ almonds mixed in plus a waffle cone. I loooove their ice cream! (Beware that the croissant is not fresh! I made the mistake of ordering it and it was terrible)

I don't recommend if you expect quick service. The service and process is super slow and labor intensive. Each ice cream takes several minutes to make which causes a big line up. Its definitely not a fast serve ice cream parlor. This doesn't seem like a sustainable business model.

My family visited the Vintage Park location on 10/10/24 around 6:15pm. My daughter ordered a Regular banana ice cream. That was made perfect, as she wanted nothing additional with it. However I ordered a Chocolate combustion. No whip cream. When our order came out it was nothing but a chocolate shake.. or what looked like that. I immediately brought it to the register and told the gentlemen I was sorry if there was any confusion but that I had wanted the chocolate combustion. He apologized and said he would get it fixed. A minute later another gentlemen called our name - to come to the register. He was trying to re-charge us for the combustion.. when we hadn't drank anything from the shake and I left it at the counter with the gentlemen who I spoke to initially, before he called us back to the counter. I told him I didn't mind paying the $1 difference and he stated he would refund us then charge us for the combustion, I said okay. However after a minute he was unable to figure out how to do it. He said never-mind and that they would get it fixed. I apologized again and said thank you. After waiting for another 5 minutes or so, a gentlemen called us from the counter and had the same shake.. just with caramel drizzle added in it.. I'm really unsure where the miscommunication was with the store employees that night, and completely understand when things happen or are confused. However these employees seemed quite lazy when it came to fixing our order. I really wanted to return to the counter and just request a refund at that point, and probably should've. However we decided to just leave. I would like a refund for the product that we didn't get. And will not tip the employees again prior to getting our order, much less go back to that location. Otherwise I will dispute it with my bank. It's a measly $12 but to pay that for something that wasn't what was ordered nor given is something I won't do. I gave them plenty of opportunities to correct something that seemed pretty simple and was very polite and patient. They completely screwed up. This being our first time as customers was a huge thumbs down. Especially for the price and customer service.

Our server, Sandy was very professional and made our ice cream very quickly. Everything was amazing! The service, ice cream, and hospitality. 10/10 would come back!

The ice cream is amazing, but the wait time is frustrating it takes 30 minutes just to get one regular ice cream every time I have come !

Got the Cap N' Crunch that was recommended by staff, staff was nice and helpful. Got to watch the staff prepared the dessert from scratch!

It was good, but pretty expensive for what it was. Also we waited 15 minutes after ordering. I'm not sure if that's typical or if they were short staffed.

I don't think I've ever had ice cream this creamy, the creaminess is so apparent that I was at times trying to find something to compare it to. If I had a blind taste test I wouldn't have had known that I was eating ice cream. The ice cream dissipates as a hot knife through butter would( your tongue being the knife) but it feels as light as a heavy whip cream, with the creaminess of a New York cheesecake. It's a bit pricy for me but worth it never the less. Finishing off my small size left me wanting more.

This would be a great place to take a kid. It was neat seeing the nitrogen smoke coming from the mixer. They also had a lot of different kind of mixtures. We were boring and just got the cookie butter ice cream. It was really good. I can honestly say I have never had cookie butter ice cream till now.

My experience at Creamistry was amazing due to being served by Alyssa. Her joy full smile made my visit amazing. Alyssa not only served me but also recommended one of the best ice creams. Most definitely recommend and will be back.

I was concerned because of the reviews, but it's hot & we needed something cold lol. Very happy with the service. The ice cream was really good. Only thing I'll say is it was a bit pricy but other than that...I'd recommend if you're in the vintage.

We turned away 23 minutes before closing. It seems like this store is doing so well that they're turning away business. Not going back...

Horrible service today. They messed up my brownie bowl order and then made me wait in line again to add the brownie. By the time I got the brownie the icecream had melted and the presentation was terrible, this is the presentation for a 10 dollar brownie bowl. Poor customer service. Used to be a family favorite but not planning on comeback here after this.

Staff are so slow. Literally so slow they move like a turtle. I don't recommend this place because you're gonna wait at least 30 min

Nothing beats top of the line customer service skill, I'm an hour away and will drive here for the experience alone with this staff! I substitute coconut milk for dairy, they have an oat option as well!

Got the strawberry waffle...pretty good. It's definitely big enough to share. Quick service. Nice activity to bring kids.

You order at the end of the counter furthest from the door (after getting past the sea of people waiting for their treat). Good ice-cream but the wait is too long and the price point of $9 per treat is well beyond other normal or even premium shops.

New management is on point. Good experience and good ice cream. Cool seeing how they freeze up the ice cream. Lots of choices. Outdoor or indoor seating. Try it. It's worth it.

This place is rather expensive. I wouldn't recommend anyone who is on a budget. However, you can watch them freeze up your ice cream with nitrogen so I guess that helps to make your money worth wild. The people are nice and helpful. The place is rather small, but can easily fit a small group of 3.

They were what was expected for ice cream The Cookie Monster has A LOT of cookies inside the ice cream. I wish the blue ice cream had less cookies with more flavor Nevertheless... it was good ice cream to have after the movies

After dinner at Tumble 22 we walked over to give this a try. You will need to park and walk because it's on the backside of the building. The menu is straight forward. There's a traditional dairy and vegan option for based to make sure anyone can enjoy. Tons of topping options and add ons to make your ice cream personal to your tastebuds. We will be back for sure. Ps. The staff was very helpful and informative.

They do magic! No, they don't do magic, but they do you know Science. This place makes liquid nitrogen ice cream made to order. Which is why I went in because it looked cool. But the ice cream was just average. So instead of going here, I suggest you go to Cold stone, Dairy queen because it really does just taste the same as regular ice cream.

Great Customer Service and delicious Ice Cream. After coming from a long day on the golf course it's great to end it off with a scrumptious dessert. Very friendly staff and will be coming back.

While I enjoyed the ice cream, the workers at this location need training. I'm not expecting world class service from an ice cream shop, but the lack of customer service and attentiveness to the customer is just plain awful. We tried this location on 3 separate occasions, hoping for a better result. Nope. We won't be back. Disheartening, because I like the franchise just not this location. I won't be surprised if I see an empty storefront in the next few months

Horrible place second time we go and leave with nothing. We waited for 25 minutes and then they tell us that they can't make our ice cream because they "ran out of nitrogen" I just don't know what we were waiting for the whole freaking time they could've told us that before we payed I don't know maybe check your supplies before you start making orders for people DO NOT COME AND WASTE UR TIME VERY OVERPRICED AS WELL

Great concept! I love the idea of a business model that minimizes waste. You first pick your size, then you pick the base (dairy, non dairy or sorbet), and finally, pick a flavor and toppings. Your ice cream is made to order and rather quickly. We tried a dairy base with cookies and cream flavor and a coconut (non dairy base) with cheesecake flavor. The taste of the coconut is strong, but for me, that was a bonus as I really liked it. I will definitely be back

Creamistry is a cute, little shop in Vintage Park with tons of delicious dairy and non-dairy ice cream options (coconut milk, cashew milk, sorbet). The service is cordial and quick. It can be a bit pricey but if you're lactose intolerant like me, it's well worth it to enjoy a sweet treat and avoid the dairy drama.

Very good ice cream, very bad service. Paid $25 for 2 ice creams and terrible service. Got the wrong sizes to start out and they rang me up wrong after repeating my order multiple times. Yet again the ice cream is amazing, the employees need to find a new job and leave the customer service industry for good.

Who knew captain crunch was so good in ice cream? Not us! This place is a fun experience for the kids, and their flavors are all good. I like that you can pick your milk base in case you have a dairy allergy.

I've always avoided the Liquid Nitrogen Gimmick Parlors simply because they are, in the end, not about the ice cream, but about the show. Well, I finally broke down and visited one, the Creamistry, and I must say that, in general, my suspicions were confirmed. Highish prices, lots of steamy clouds, and average ice cream. That said -- have to give them props for the Cap'n Crunch ice cream I had. And, of course, kids love this routine. Personally, I'd rather go to a good frozen yogurt place.

Was excited to try this place, but unfortunately could not. We went to the door at 9:15 PM and the doors were locked full of people inside. It was very confusing people not even making eye contact and the ice cream makers ignoring people at the door. I tried to find a sign that said party or something, but nope! Disappointed.

I specifically called this location yesterday (11/13/2022) and spoke with a lady/young woman about ordering a birthday cake for my daughter. She said I didn't have to order one because they're always available and I can just come in and pick one up today. Ok, cool right?!?! Nope!!! Should've known it was too good to be true. Sent my husband to pick a cake up at 1:20pm today (11/14/2022) and there were none of the plain vanilla cakes. Oh and the cake maker/decorator/baker isn't working today either. So we had to settle for one that they had just so she can have a cake. My daughter specifically picked the plain vanilla one out yesterday. Now she has to get the one with the pink drizzle crap all over it. She may not even like that one. I'll go back to ordering our birthday cakes at Marble Slab where they can at least personalize the cake.

Our family LOVED coming here every time we in Houston! But this will be the last visit here at this location. Where are liquid nitrogen? Where are the Cute spoons? Quality and presentation? Everything changed. Those are the things dawned your customers to pay for expensive ice cream. Another disappointment was the pre-packed ice cream,,, let just say not really packed. Thanks for my points that was free. Overall is not the same.

Subpar iced cream, too expensive and they don't even allow samples or adding 2 different flavors to a bowl.

The ice cream was pretty good but the customer service is beyond HORRID!!!! I came with 3 other people and we were only ones in the store and somehow they messed our order up. Honestly for the price I paid they should get better training in customer service. Saw the employees' faces and ruined my day they were such debbie downers.
