Google
Had a pretty good experience overall. The concept is unique—they make ice cream using liquid nitrogen right in front of you, which adds a fun, interactive element to the visit. As an ice cream lover, I found the variety of flavors and mix-ins appealing, and the quality was decent. It’s definitely a spot where dessert enthusiasts might enjoy trying something a little different. While the experience was enjoyable, it felt more like a one-time novelty than a must-visit destination. That said, it’s worth checking out if you’re curious about nitrogen ice cream or want to treat yourself to something fun and out of the ordinary.

Google
Disappointing Experience We were really excited to try out this place because it’s different from your regular ice cream shop, offering a unique nitrogen-style twist. But unfortunately, the experience was pretty disappointing. The place looked okay but could definitely be cleaned up a bit. We ordered two milkshakes and one scoop of ice cream. The scoop was decent, but the milkshakes were not good at all—they weren’t cold, had a watery texture, and all the chocolate and toppings sank to the bottom. It was hard to enjoy, and I couldn’t even finish mine. Overall, it had potential, but the quality and presentation really missed the mark. Hopefully they improve.

Google
My Fiance and I visited this establishment last night as part of our effort to visit different places to dine at. It was interesting to watch them make it. using a technique I've never heard of. ( Hydrogen ? ) They were very busy as a lot of people had come to visit them as well. Thankfully there was a large outdoor pavilion to sit and eat the ice cream at. Because the music in the store was louder than I prefer. It's not cheap. But I think it was worth the visit. We may try them again at some point.

Google
Ice cream is nothing unique - it's just frozen on the go using liquid nitrogen. Fun for kids. But the staff can learn some etiquette. I was carrying my 5 year old kid showing the liquid nitrogen smokey thing. This staff who made the ice cream showed my kid the milk and said something, we both couldn't hear it. I said "sorry what was that?". For which the staff said "I was talking to the kid" with a cold and rude face. I guess she tried to show the milk before it was frozen. A little patience can't hurt! Too pricey for one scoop of ice cream, some whipped cream and few marshmallows. Can do better!

Google
"I had an amazing experience at Creamistry in Las Colinas! They make your ice cream right in front of you using liquid nitrogen, and the result is the creamiest ice cream I've ever had! They have a great variety of flavors and even offer non-dairy options. Highly recommend giving them a try – definitely a 5-star treat!

Google
If there was zero stars i would give it. Creamistry has fallen in standards like it used to be. Was charged almost 20 dollars for two scoops of ice cream in a standard size cup. When I specifically asked for the signature creation plastic cups which hold about 3 scoops of ice cream. Asked the staff and said oh our largest cup is this ( medium at best coffee sized cup.) Never again. 20 bucks and system asks for a tip of 18 percent and more.

Google
This mangonada , priced at $14, had an unpleasant taste. The addition of Takis crumbles resulted in a flavor that was highly unappetizing, reminiscent of vomit. I strongly advise against purchasing this product due to its undesirable taste.

Google
Staff doesn’t say hi or welcome when you enter and are so apathetic when taking your order and rewards system is ALWAYS down. I always ask “is your rewards system available?” Kindly and it is always met with an apathetic “no”. Staff here generally don’t seem lively and it kind of ruins the whole “ice cream” experience especially when there’s more interactiveness via liquid nitrogen. They make your order right but, it generally does not deliver the normal creamistry experience or standards regarding service.

Yelp
Super creamy ice cream due to the liquid nitrogen, and the service is pretty quick! They have a lot of interesting flavors and I was shocked to see banana as one of them instead of it just being a topping. So of course I had to order it! It wasn't too sweet at all, and the banana blended really well into the ice cream. However, the smallest size was like $8. And while the serving size is pretty big. I didn't want that much ice cream anyways. So I wish they had a smaller size option.

Yelp
We wanted to get something sweet for dessert and went here. It's been a while since I've been here and I got chocolate ice cream with cookie dough and mochi mixed in with strawberry bites on top. The texture is definitely creamy and it is pretty filling honestly. I probably wouldn't add cookie dough again but I did really enjoy the mochi bites. There's a lot of different combinations you could try.

Yelp
Fast service! Cool Look inside! Modern. Fun and entertaining concept! (Ice Cream Making) I ordered the strawberry ice cream thingy and my gf ordered the caramel coffee one? Whatever it was it was good! 8/10 , My Strawberry Ice Cream sundae was a 9/10 im subtracting one point because there was TOO MUCH Cheesecake on the bottom. Very gluttonous. Lol. Thank you for the sweet treats! -Santangelo Balli Gonzales -Visiting from Houston-

Yelp
WE all enjoyed our ice cream. Plenty of flavors to choose from. Fast service. Nice staff. Good ambiance for all ages.

Yelp
I stopped here with a friend for some ice cream. I particularly picked this location because they had dairy free options and gluten-free. When we arrived, I asked about their allergy menu. The worker could not locate the menu and could barely help me figure out what would be dairy and gluten free. I had to ask a lot of questions, but landed on coconut milk ice cream with banana. My friend got a ice cream concoction that was quite large and expensive . Overall, the ice cream was OK. It takes a long time to make which if you're in a hurry doesn't work out very well. Also, I kind of thought it was a little pricey for what I got.
google avatar

Lina G.

Yelp
This place is always overflowing with people, so I wanted to try it out. It's okay, not anything to rave about. The service is a little on the slow side, but that's due to the multiple steps it takes to make their ice cream. As a new customer, I was confused by how the menu works. The screens show crazy concoctions with lots of toppings, but I just wanted something on the simpler side (i.e., scoop of ice cream with 1 mix-in). No one gave any advice or suggestions from the staff.
google avatar

Yelp
Don't know why the rating is so low. Service was good and the ice cream was great. Sea Salt Caramel Crunch. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
This is supposed to be a late night spot for ice cream. Warning, it is not exactly that. Service: They say they close at 12am on Friday night. Well I got there roughly 11:30p and they seem to be already closing their doors to any customer that may be arriving at this time. I was told by one of the employees that they were closed but a particular ethnic group of folks were still walking in and they were taking their. So with my confused look, I walked out and one of their other employees came out the store and asked what was wrong. I was advised to what was said to me and tried to apologize for the confusion. I was still a little concern but they were in the process to make it up to me. Ice Cream: This ice cream is made with the liquid nitrogen. It was pretty cool to see this process and the ice cream was just okay. I guess it could have been better but I think it was a rush job on my order because of the prior incident. Overall: I have mixed opinion about this place. I would leave this review up to you for what you may have a better or the same experience I received.

Yelp
Overall I was pretty pleased with my experience here. We went on a Wednesday at about 2:00 pm and it wasn't busy at all. The staff were pretty friendly and both treats were delicious. I absolutely fell in love with the Cookie Monster tho (so, so yummy). It is a pretty big portion size that can be shared among 2-3 people. Overall the inside of the store was pretty clean however at times it was noisy if you try to sit down and have a conversation.
google avatar

Hannah S.

Yelp
The wait was very long. The concept is cool but the practicality is not worth the price point. Essentially, they add ingredients to a stand mixer and then blast it with liquid nitrogen leading to a very cool effect but nominal difference in the taste. The ambiance was quite chaotic but the grassy area outside of the ice cream shop had chairs to sit in to escape the noise.
google avatar

Hayde M.

Yelp
The cool concept didn't make up for the experience. The wait was too long, and it was quite pricey for just 2 smalls cups of ice cream.
google avatar

Hannah J.

Yelp
It was a cool vibe and the ice cream was fantastic. It left my entire family pleased. There's a reason the line is out the door. Would recommend to any one.
google avatar

Jen G.

Yelp
Really fun atmosphere. Good music. But a big fail on the customer service end. There was a line of about 9 people when we walked in. As time past I realized Noone was greeted or being helped. The lack of recognition or greetings really is what brings on the lack of stars. Guest started getting out of line and leaving, I believe could of been prevented had the guest received a smile and simple "hello I'll be right with you." I too would have left if I hadn't promised my 8 yr old the ice cream he'd been waiting all day for. I do want to stress, to me seems they need additional support, the workers look exhausted, but are working as quickly and as hard as they can, just talk to the guests and keep us informed.

Arian V.

Yelp
This place was really good about 1 year ago. Now the service is too slow. Only two people serving and attending. The place smells really bad. Like a very old place. The line wait it's about 30 minutes.
google avatar

Dolores G.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I went to Creamistry right after the solar eclipse watch. It was my first time there, but I had a great experience as I watched them make the Nitrogen ice cream! They have so many different flavors you can choose from & even build your own! I chose the strawberry shortcake & I most definitely loved it!
google avatar

Joshua K.

Yelp
Awesome ice cream and friendly staff. Awesome place to get some snacks very tasty! You walk in order it then sit and wait for them to call your name. I love everything about it!
google avatar

Lisa B.

Yelp
Creamistry is good. The menu however is small. I tried the unicorn ice cream which was very beautiful and tasty. My husband had the coffee one, I forget what it was called but I didn't like that one it was very bitter, he enjoyed it though. There is a small seating area inside with a few more chairs outside. Since making the ice cream is a bigger process than just scooping it out if it was really busy I imagine the wait would be very long. There was only one couple ahead of us and even then we waited almost 15 minutes to get our ice creams. It's definitely cute for a date night, something different. I'd say try it out if you are in the area.

Tony Martinez

Yelp
I was shocked to find that a single cup of ice cream costs $11 here. The price seems exorbitant considering the portion size and quality. For the same amount, you could easily get two generous cups at Braum's, which offers better value. If you're looking for a more satisfying ice cream experience without breaking the bank, I'd recommend heading to 31 Flavors or Braum's instead.
google avatar

Justine H.

Yelp
It's a cool experience and the ice cream is soft and creamy but there will be a line, be forewarned! While you wait you're able to watch them make the ice cream before your eyes. They're definitely big enough to split with someone so come with a friend!
google avatar

Sapna B.

Yelp
I don't think I've ever had such mediocre ice cream at such a high price! I came here on a Tuesday because I was at work and it's 5 mins away and I was craving a sweet treat. I got the regular size cookies and cream with two toppings. This was $10.45. For one scoop of ice cream at $10.45 it should blow me away. I barely ate half and threw it away. Wish I had listened to the other reviews and gone somewhere else!
google avatar

Briona J.

Yelp
The ice cream is actually really good. I had the vegan base (coconut) cookies and cream. The day I went there were a lot of flies in the building so I didn't stay long, but one of the workers stood there and guarded my ice cream from the flies so I did appreciate that.

LaTaura I.

Yelp
Best ice cream I've ever had. Friendly staff. Great presentation and just enough to satisfy a late night craving.
google avatar

Danica A.

Yelp
This is a nice place to go to for some unique ice cream. They use technology with nitrogen to give that cooling effect. They have some signature flavors like champions breakfast and cookie monster. However, they can make custom orders too. My only concern is they staff's safety when making their creations - they should wear goggles to protect their eyes.
google avatar

Dan B.

Yelp
The ice cream here is unbelievably creamy! I got some the other day and found myself in shock of the texture and taste of it. I love the signature creations that they have because it takes the pressure off having to choose from so many mix ins and toppings. What I enjoy about Creamistry is that they pay attention to different dietary restrictions. They even have a helpful chart that lists all of their offerings and what categories they fall into. Their regular milk based ice cream is obviously delicious, but the coconut option was so so light and refreshing! You really can't go wrong here! I love that the making of the ice cream is like a science experiment that you can watch happen. The reaction of the ingredients being combined and the smoke billowing out of the mixers is fun to see and the final product is always amazing! It can be a little pricey, but it's definitely worth it!

Yelp
Terrible experience. Got overcharged and underserved. We ordered 2 large sizes, got the smallest size, waited a scary long time, received the wrong order and had to do it all over again. I tried to call to talk with managment to make it right the next day and no one answered on 3 separate occasions... Super disappointed and frustrated...

K K.

Yelp
Very expensive: over $10 each (with tax and tip) for a small cup of ice cream. And the took 45 minutes to make. Pretty dispiriting at the end.
google avatar

Sarrang P.

Yelp
Came here with my family after dinner and it was super hot outside but inside of the shop felt like their ac was broken. There were so many flies inside too it was kinda gross.. But anyways coming in and ordering was pretty easy. You pick the size, the base, the flavor and toppings. It's pretty pricy but if you check in on Yelp you can get a free topping. I ended up getting non dairy strawberry with strawberries topping. It was pretty good and I would get it again! My bf got the matcha and he really enjoyed it. My mom got this pineapple one and she hated it. It wasn't that too tbh but I'm not a big pineapple fan so it doesnt count.
google avatar

Tayy W.

Yelp
Unfortunately no more French Toast Cereal flavors here. SUPER SAD!! Offers fruity pebble ice cream sandwiches....has fruity pebbles...but NO FRUITY PEBBLES ICE CREAM SANDWICH.... it's all just basically preset flavors. How disappointing. Pre made ice creams. Only fresh when it comes to order. This place is still considered new but is already getting run down by not keeping it clean here. Staff could be a little nicer and less demanding. Brownie is hard and unpleasant. Ice cream is melted in the sandwich...

Yelp
Chremistry Las Colinas is a high end dessert shop that features ice creams infused with Nitrous and treats. The result is an ultra-rich, smooth, creamy concoction that is both intoxicating and expensive. The price is high but so is the quality. However, this one Chremistry franchise may have a place in my rotation because of its location. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - You fill find Chremistry franchises opening up all over DFW, but this one has the best atmosphere. Inside you'll find a clean environment with 4 devices used to infuse the Nitrous. Gas in the form of smoke will fill the air as kids and adults await with anticipation. But what makes this location the best is it's in the Irving-Las Colinas new Water Street area. Outside is a beautiful pier, fountains, and plenty of seating. On a spring day or cool summer evening you can't beat it. 1 Star. Service - You line up by the register and place your order. The staff is friendly and helpful. But it does take a long time to create your dessert. There are multiple steps involved and if it's busy expect a wait. Some nights they seem short staffed so just a heads up. 1/2 Star. Food - It's good. Really good. Whatever the Nitrous does it works. You'll get an ultra-smooth ice cream concoction. I always order the Premium blend but they also have Organic & Vegan options. You can choose flavors or build your own. My favorite menu item is the Quantum Coffee. Coffee Ice Cream with Heath Bar, almonds, and a happy belly. I'm also a fan of the plain vanilla with peanut butter cups. Now, here's the deal. It's SUPER expensive. I'm talking $9 for my dessert. Now, the quality is sky high and so are the ingredients, so you'll have to decide if it's worth it. 1 1/2 Stars. Will I Return? - Only to this location. I will only go to this Chremistry because it's awesome location in Water Street. You are paying a lot so at least the view of Lake Carolyn and the open green lawn is the perfect place for kids to burn off their sugar high. Bottom line - I'm returning because the outdoor location with the ice cream - not the ice cream alone. 1 Star. My Yelp Rating Scale (Sum of all parts): 1 Star - Atmosphere - Is it a cool dive? Perhaps an upscale place? No matter the type, atmosphere plays a big part and I'll give a star if I like it or thinks it has great charm. 1 Star - Service - You can have a great meal with bad service. But that's also what can make a five star joint drop to four. It's important to the dining experience that service is great and on point. 2 Stars - Food - I'll award up to two stars for the food, since this is the main reason we dine out. Sometimes the extra star is given for value, but it's really all about the food. 1 Star - Will I come back? - If I know for a fact I'll return, I'll give this a star. A place has to make an impression for me to return. Each Category can be given up to 1 star except food (2 stars) because I consider all these categories important to the overall dining experience. I will sum them up to provide my final Yelp score.
google avatar

Tiffany N.

Yelp
Apparently I took the wrong career path because I don't like paying $8 for a couple scoops of ice cream with a topping. I really want to love this place and dig their ice cream but not for the price they charge. Is it delicious? Yes. Is it unique? Yes, It's hand crafted with liquid nitrogen to create a smoother ice cream. Is it that unique that I'm feening for it and need to get my fix STAT? No. Again, it's too rich for my blood and the cost is equal to about three coffees in my world but if they have a BOGO offer, will definitely come for a sweet treat.
google avatar

Amy N.

Yelp
Wow these 1 star reviews are not lying. The employees lack professionalism.... We placed an order, one for me and one for my husband. My husband got his ice cream first, and 20 minutes later I got mine. Basically he ate his already by the time I received mine. The ice creams are not made in order received and staff does not seem to feel rushed in making their desserts. Counter top is dirty and everything seems unorganized. They have 3 mixers and only 1 is connected to the nitrogen tank.. which means they can create only 1 item at a time. Employees should wear uniforms or have gloves/masks on, but that's just my personal opinion. Good luck with summer Creamistry.... I won't be back.
google avatar

John D.

Yelp
I mean, it's ice cream. Don't expect a quick turn-around. Second time here. They quick on taking orders but not so much on slinging out product. Stay away from the Cookie Monster. Your shit will be black for a day or two and teeth tainted from the crap they toss in it.
google avatar

Nixon V.

Yelp
Warning: no adults work here. Service is unclear, they have to "manually" input your credit card number, and no one behind the bar is over 18.... wait, did I already say that? Yeah if you want novelty child labor endured ice cream this is the place for you :) I don't know how an ice cream place can be so warm. Guess it adds to the "nitrogen" ice cream aesthetic. Who knows. What I do know is I waited way too long for questionably made ice cream. That's all.
google avatar

Maggie H.

Yelp
Do not go to Creamistry!! You will wait over an hour for ice cream after you order, which is pretty ridiculous.

Katy Z.

Yelp
The prices are ridiculous, id say the ice cream is good but you could definitely get the same thing for cheaper at another place. They took a very long time to get me my ice cream which is also something that wouldn't happen at another ice cream shop. It's in a nice area though, but I still wouldn't come to this shop again.

Sarahy G.

Yelp
Bad service, bad atmosphere and really expensive. They really need to work on their customer service skills. I don't think the ice cream was worth the price.
google avatar

Kenyon E.

Yelp
My husband and I love creamistry, but this location has really let us down. Majority of the workers are very young. It appears that many of them don't have work ethics and common sense when it comes to working at a busy company. At one point the dishwasher came out the chat with an employee that was busy. He pulled his phone out several times to text and show others things on it. He was in the way and very distracting to others working. I had to wait about 30 mins for my order. There was 6 employees and I would say 2 worked their butts off. The others not so much. Twice while I was waiting no one was working on any orders. No one was even in the front at all!
google avatar

Kilo L.

Yelp
Not a good experience. The door sign says it opens at 12pm, but the store wasn't open. A staff came out and tell us he'll open at 1:30pm. We went back at 1:30pm, still not open. This didn't happen in the middle of the week, this is Saturday.
google avatar

Havah S.

Yelp
This place will blow you away-- literally!! The nitrogen creates a puff of smoke that makes you wonder if you are dreaming when your taste buds go off the wall with the fantastic ice cream that has appeared before your eyes like magic. At least, it is to my kids. They got up on the chair and went "WOWWWWWW" today. It was a mom win. Creamistry, for that I thank you. My taste buds also thank you. Come see the magic for yourself ;) P.S. there is a waterfront outside so the kids can eat with room to spare without their masks and no worries. Then they can run that ice cream off :)
google avatar

Aimee W.

Yelp
Okay. Wow. First off, this side of town is beautiful and high end. There is 3 hour parking in the garages around and some street parking if you are lucky. The atmosphere is very chill. Perfect for a night out or just time with the family and friends. You walk in to like this live magical science experiment. You get to watch them make everything from scratch and the smoke coming out like dragons breath is mesmerizing to all ages. You can choose dairy or non dairy and then whatever combo of ingredients you heart desires. They have some creations on their menu they have come up with and two of us went with some of those. We have a chocolate lover so she went classic. Then we have an Oreo lover so he went cookies and cream style. We are ice cream snobs. So they had a lot to live up to. It was crazy because not one of us was disappointed. The strawberry bond has cheesecake and strawberries in it and it was the perfect sweet. It wasn't too much at all. The vanilla bean was so so so smooth and good! My husband loves captain crunch so captains breakfast was perfect for him. He loved it. He doesn't even love ice cream, he is just a great sport and eats it because we love it. He raced about this the next morning even. The kids were very pleased and loved the others so much. They had no problem finishing it and that can sometimes happen. The line was long but it went quick and then they had plenty of people behind the counter to make sure everything got made in a timely fashion as well. Everyone loved it! At one point i was like man i wish we had one of these back home, but then the next second i realized my bank account was grateful it didn't because i could see this being a regular spot for us. For those that care about spending, it was more then we normally would spend for sure. We have a few specialty ice cream shops here at home that we expect to spend 20-30 at with our large family. Usually at least 5 of us. This spot we only had 4 eating and we spend almost 50 with tip. So that was a little steep. But it was so stinking good and we will be back for sure!!!! So price didn't effect us that much.
google avatar

Ji W.

Yelp
Very disappointed. Run down interior and equipment and the place smells damp and funky. Watermark on the wall. Ordered two things and it was not worth $10 per cup. Only one person was working and it took close to 5 mins to get one order. Will never return.

Matthew D.

Yelp
I got a regular with chocolate and mini gummy bears and brownie bites on top. The flavor was there and enjoyable. What was not there was an enjoyable eating experience. The cup was overfilled and the top was refrozen. So, once the sides and bottom started to melt, the ice cream started pouring out all over my hand, shorts, and legs. The top was hard to scoop because it was cold and sticky. It was a terrible experience. Maybe the milkshake would have been better ... While the performance of making the ice cream is cool and the atmosphere of the place is chill, I would not recommend anyone to go at this time. The flavor is there but the experience is not. Next time, I'm going to Braum's.
google avatar

Yvonne U.

Yelp
This Creamistry is known for delaying orders, getting orders wrong and running out of nitrogen. On top of that showing no remorse.I think this is the final straw. I won't be coming back. I do HIGHLY recommend the Cold Stone that just opened 6561 Riverside, Ste 150 Irving, TX 75039. Great customer service, quick, and tasty. Good riddance Creamistry you have let me down for the final time
google avatar

Benjamin K.

Yelp
I've never written a review on here before, but i feel as if this place warranted one. I would give this place one star, but the staff wasn't awful. Most were friendly except for the cashier who acted like we were bothering her. Much like everyone else, we waited over 40 minutes for two smalls. I could forgive this detail if the ice cream was even good. I got the s'mores but couldn't tell what it was actually supposed to be because the ice cream didn't have any discernable flavor. It didn't even taste like generic chocolate. Avoid this place unless you want to waste an hour and don't care about getting good ice cream.
google avatar

Alex L.

Yelp
The price of the ice cream is not worth the admission. On the flip side, it is delicious but so are many other places around town. There was a sense of a robotic community behind the counter. No one smiled or made eye contact. It was a very cut and dry transaction. That too deters me from returning. I ordered coffee ice cream. Yup, it was good. That's it.
google avatar

Jorge M.

Yelp
I rarely give bad reviews but this place really needs to get it together. It took 45 minutes to get 2 large ice creams. Some people waited over an hour for theirs. Waits time is the worst. Ice cream was good tasting. This is my second time and last time. Previous time it took about 40 minutes. Just be ready to wait.... I am not going back.
google avatar

Yelp
Nice smooth I've cream service was good they were out of some ingredients but overall a good experience
google avatar

Ashton R.

Yelp
Horrible service! While one person is working hard the other one is hardly working! Poor customer service in regards to what I ordered. Ordered a s'mores ice cream but was handed something with brownies all over it. When I asked for confirmation that I got the right order Ashley told me that I had ordered that and was wrong. Huge attitude about this as well. However, when I am paying $10 for something I just want to make sure I get what I am paying for. Also, brownies were VERY hard and clearly old or overcooked!

Yelp
This place won't be in business long. I walk in on a beautiful Friday afternoon. I'm the only customer in the store. The guy behind the counter is on his phone and playing games on it. He can't be bothered to acknowledge me, but looks up to see me, then walks to the back back as if I'm not there. Don't worry about me. I'm just the guy with the money. The place is filthy - spilled food everywhere. Don't waste your time.
