We had our work Christmas party here and they knocked it out of the park! It was so easy to plan the event with the coordinators. They gave us tons of options to pick from when it came to food and liquor. Philip and his team did an amazing job and we would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Create Catering did the catering for my wedding in August 2025. Such timely service and delicious food. The staff was also incredible and attentive. There was also a slight hitch with someone who had dietary needs and they were able to get creative on such short notice. I can't thank them enough for making every guest feel special.

No matter what your theme is for your food, order the wild mushroom flatbread. Your guests will thank you. Your tastebuds will thank you. Everyone will be happy. It’s so good. A bit of an odd drive to get to as you can’t be certain you’re going the right way, but just follow your phones directions. Very nice space with beautiful art, very friendly staff, and such good food!!

Hosted my best friends 40th dinner in this space. OMG the food is beyond amazing. Display/presentation was stunning and the guests could NOT stop talking about the quality of the food. The serving staff is so kind and so attentive. Made for an amazing dinner experience. We used a professional decorator / designer (Rustic Charm Rentals) to elevate the space since we used it in March and couldn’t benefit from the outdoor space :) the space is flexible and allows for a number of options. Joan is great to work with and was so generous in helping us source table linens, accommodated our decorations and tablescape, and allowed for us to bring in a special cake for the evening.

What a joy! We used them for my birthday dinner. They were deightful and helpful with initial menu selection. The space itself was beautiful with art on the walls. Appetizers, salads, main courses and dessert were so good. Dylan attended us with charm and professional service. So accommodating. As a stand alone space we had to ourselves as opposed to being at a resturant or bar where you have people you dont know around. I cant wait until we can use them again.

We hosted our rehearsal dinner at the Create Catering dining studio and really just can't say enough about how fantastic everything was! The food was exceptional. As people who really enjoy food, (and since we were going to have fairly tame selections for the wedding), we wanted to get some unique options for our rehearsal dinner. It was a real pleasure to work with Phillip on a menu. He was incredibly interested and attentive to all of our thoughts. We ended up going with options of a beautifully elevated and seasonal Moulard Duck, Market Fish (Salmon), and Gnudi dumplings that nearly turned me vegetarian for the night. Everything from apps to salad to dessert was absolutely delicious, and we got so many rave comments from our guests. Despite having 30 people, we were able to get everyone together at one gigantic long table stretching across the dining room. It was such an intimate and lovely experience that I can't imagine getting anywhere else. The acoustics were great. We were in total control of the sound, as well as what would be served at the bar, and of course we had the place to ourselves for the whole night. Having a venue we could open up to additional guests after dinner was important to us as well. The front wall of the studio opens up and on a nice night (which we had) you can also mingle outside. They even set up a little fire for us on the patio. We truly could not ask for more. We don't have plans to get married again, but I'm looking for almost any excuse to host another event at this point. Can't wait to get back!

Came for a Valentines Day dinner and was absolutely amazed by the food, drinks, and staff. Everything was delicious and there were so many creative ideas. The desserts were incredible. I am so excited to come back for the Sunday dinners they host. Be on the lookout for tickets - they sell out fast!

We have used Create both personally and through my husband's business for in home catering. Truly a top notch company in both service and food. We have also utilized their meal offerings during the pandemic and for the holidays. We travel for work and the ability to have most of a great meal delivered and simply reheat is a privilege but also a time and resource saver for us. Super nice people own and operate this company. Highly recommend.

We had Philip and Alicia crest an amazing graduation dinner for our daughter and family. The food was absolutely delicious. Philip kept a careful eye on the food allergies to ensure everyone could enjoy this fantastic experience. Taylor was our captain, setting the table, passing the food and wine and finishing up the dishes when they were done. If you are looking for a special evening that you and your guests will never forget, look no further. Worth every penny.

During a private birthday party event on a beautiful Saturday night in Minneapolis, MN this Houston, Texas woman was surprised and delighted to enjoy some fantastic dishes that were prepared by Chef Corey. The presentation and explanation of the dishes, combined with the pairing of the wine were impecable! I would recommend this experience for all different occasions.

They catered for a memorial service for my friends family and I must say that the spread was awesome!

Philip is running a cool catering business with focus on local and sustainable foods. When I first interviewed CREATE for our wedding they were just getting started and he was driving an old ambulance fueled by biofuels and had his own farm to grow his own produce that was incorporated into the business. I choose CREATE because I liked their vibe/philosophy and they seemed so responsive to our vision for the wedding, even though I really liked another caterer who had done events at our venue and whose wonderful food we had at a friend's wedding. Sadly, throughout the course of my year+ planning their prices changed DRAMATICALLY and their communication was seriously LACKING. No longer will they serve host-provided alcohol at an off-site venue. Fine, I understand that their insurance changed but they never called me to tell me their change in policy and this was a big factor in our decision to choose this particular venue. Food and the choice of alcohol served is my fiance's number one priority for our wedding. Also, and more importantly, I was never told of the price increases and discovered them on my own as I opened up the new quotes that were sent over time. The exact same menu went from $40 per person to $48 to $55 over a 1 year period. I was never told why when each new quote was sent until I started asking questions. I was told that the prices of flour and eggs had gone up significantly in the last year. They also said that their insurance costs sky-rocketed because their business was booming. All of this is probably true but not very cool when we are talking about a 40% increase and we are spending thousands of dollars to plan a wedding. (Which means every dollar counts) Philip's food is fantastic (5 stars) and we enjoyed our tasting very much. The are doing a lot of weddings now and I have heard their corporate business is going very well too. Gone is the funky ambulance because the clients don't like it parked outside of their mansions on Lake Minnetonka. And their locally grown produce is being tossed aside to provide a cheaper alternative. We broke our contract with CREATE - it was a tough decision but ultimately one that I know is right for us. Both sides worked to make concessions but we felt those concessions put us all in a compromised position. We just didn't have the faith that it would all come off how we had envisioned and we didn't want to second guess. I wish their business well and encourage their staff to communicate better to their clients.

Create is seriously wonderful. They catered our wedding 2 weeks ago and I really enjoyed working with them. Nicky was great! My grandma has a severe allergy and she worked really hard to make sure she would have a safe experience. Our food was served family style and we received SO MANY compliments on everything. The appetizers and entrees were AMAZING! The staff also worked to make sure some appetizers were brought into the dressing rooms right after the ceremony so the wedding party would be sure to get something to eat...brilliant! I wish I could get married again just so I could try some different food items! I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to serve something different than traditional "wedding food"

We purchased dinner for 8 at an auction that they donated. The experience was great, food was very good. Fried chicken sandwich, beef and seafood were the highlights. Had the bar all setup and the chef was great! I would recommend this to any group (especially a smaller group) and the studio is a really nice setup. Great experience!

Outstanding venue for private events. Huge selection of delicious food offerings; and unusual and fabulous wine pairings. Philip and Desiree are warm, professional and above all; Michelin star quality chef's!

Friendly, efficient, and fantastic food. Brisket and salmon were the entrees and they were fabulous. Our dinner event was for 20. The wait staff was friendly and inconspicuous. Cleanup was perfect. Couldn't have asked for it to have been better.

CREATE is superb. Really. They did our wedding last weekend, and were an absolute delight to work with. The planning was seamless (thanks Nicky!). The service staff was professional and attentive. The price was reasonable. And then there's the food... ... which was incredible! More than one guest commented to us that it was not only the best wedding food they could remember, it was also one of the better meals they'd had, period. I can't argue; it honestly was great. Each dish was thoughtfully conceived, wonderfully prepared, and artfully plated. And this is coming from someone who is usually quite picky about such things. If you're getting married in the TC area, CREATE is definitely worth your consideration.

These guys are really good... Our wedding in July, 2014 was a private gathering at our home for 40 people. After careful review of catering options in mpls, we selected Create Catering to provide the food and beverage services for our evening event. Leading up to the event, they were professional with details but casual and fun to work with. They helped guide us to make some of the larger decisions to keep things in budget and eliminate stress. Their services started 2 hours prior to the wedding. Create staff was clearly experienced and set to work prepping apps, staging tables and setting up the bar. With all the wonderful craziness of a wedding it was a great relief to not be asked a bunch of questions or need to be involved as we were focused on many other wedding details leading up to the ceremony. Even in a foreign environment (our kitchen) the culinary team and wait staff found everything they needed and took care of numerous details seamlessly. Chef Phillip and his team made us look good! White glove (literally) service to set the tables. There attention to detail was evident from the beautiful presentation of passed hors-d'oeuvre trays and each guests plated main courses. The food was excellent. Each plate was beautiful. A hosted Bar (with bar tender) is important for a wedding event. We opted to have Create staff tend the bar. A flat fee per person took care of the ice, glasses, garnishes and insurance for the event. The bar tender was a great addition, crafting a cocktail for the evening was a nice touch. They put everything back and left the kitchen and prep areas in better shape then they found them. The staff washed and re-boxed all of the newly purchased wine glasses for us. We received countless compliments on the food and attentiveness of the servers from our guests. We had such a positive experience we needed to share it with others.

We used Create Catering for our Groom's Dinner last summer and could not have been happier with our service! The presentation was beautiful, the food was absolutely amazing and the staff was warm, friendly and so professional. We were treated like royalty from the first phone call to Nicky to the follow up after our event. We loved the intimacy of the private dining studio, it felt like we had our own little restaurant for the night. I was especially thrilled to be able to ask for a couple of signature craft cocktails. With just a few suggestions, Brian the Bar Manager came up with 2 excellent cocktails that I am still trying to re-create at home! Chef Philip and staff easily and gladly accommodated our guests dietary needs. When we asked for vegan and gluten free options they provided us with great choices. Overall, I absolutely loved working with Create and would recommend them to anyone!

CrEATe catered my intimate wedding of 45 guests. From my initial contact with Nicky to the execution of our dinner my experience was outstanding! Nicky is extremely organized, pays meticulous attention to detail, and always demonstrated timely communication. Every employee takes pride in their work and goes above-and-beyond to deliver excellent service. CrEATe made wedding planning stress-free because I knew I was in good hands and had a second set of eyes double checking all the small details involved in food service. The chefs created a custom menu that accurately reflected our vision for a dining experience. The food was outstanding. Many of my guests are big-time foodies and their accolades couldn't have been better! The service staff was professional and thorough in their delivery of each course, paired with wine.
