I don’t usually go to coffee shops but this spot is definitely one I’ll keep coming back to. THEY HAVE A VEGAN CORTADO and that’s not easily found in LA so that was cool. I just found out that their caramel for lattes is vegan, so I had to have that today and it was also danky! The nursery vibe definitely sets the tone for a great work sesh, a homie hangout or a coffee date. You can also purchase the plants you see. Happy Munchies, aVeganAndHer

Beautiful spot to drink coffee at & browse plants. Their coffee tasted great and the baristas were friendly. Lots of available seating with both benches and tables. Wide selection of all types of affordable plants, and their plant shop also offers really cute planters, stickers, etc.

What a cute, relaxing area to shop for your favorite plants and have a coffee and snack while you're there. Love the atmosphere! You can meet up with friends to have a cup of coffee or tea, sit in the plant areas and catch up. Bring your pup too! Plants, supplies and pottery alone with gifts are super reasonable! They have everything from California natives, succulents, tropicals and even airplants! Love it!!! Def going back if not for the plants but just to hang out!

Coffee house? Yes! Plant nursery? Yes! This is a very unique venue serving a full variety of interesting coffee and tea drinks in an environment surrounded by plants. You can sit outside in the courtyard or inside the greenhouse! I had an excellent chai tea latte. My companions had a cold brew coffee, a lavender milk tea, and a raspberry rose lemonade! The pastries are excellent, and it is nice that they have savory options. I had the Italian Danish, which was filled with cheese and cherry tomatoes. The almond croissant was crispy with lots of almonds. Please, you are surrounded by plants! The day we were here they were doing a fundraiser and selling what looked like delicious burritos. Judging by the line, they must have been yummy! There is easy street parking in the Is relatively new coffee house/nursery.

Amazing location! You can tell just how much love the staff put into "Creatures". Everything is impeccably curated and presented, and a lot of loving attention is given to the plants. The drinks were delicious, and it was a rare treat to be able to enjoy a tasty beverage while surrounded by vibrant plant life. I also want to give a shout out to the staff, who were incredibly friendly - offering us some great care tips for our new plants. Thank you! 🌿

What a delightful place. The employees are amazing, friendly, helpful , great vib. This place has ambience up the wazoo. It's like a hidden oasis complete with beautiful areas to sit amongst plants. I am dying to sit in the greenhouse. The menu isn't huge and the baked goods are minimal. I'll have to try it sometime to see how it is. The drink orders have all of the basis. Where this place excels is the environment and the welcoming employees and warmth. I would definitely come back to sit and enjoy with a drink in hand and baked yummy something.

Found this spot by chance and it’s just the cutest little place ever! A really nice plant store along with drinks and cute stuff?!! SIGN ME UP! My turmeric drink was okay but im excited to try their other stuff cause the place is too cute. The plants are good quality plants too. Love!

Absolutely LOVE spending time here. Great vibe and fun, knowledgeable help with plants of all kinds. Baristas are warm and friendly. Everyone always makes us feel right at home.

This is a neat mixed nursery and coffee shop in Eagle Rock. The outdoor area is calm and serene. It's peaceful to sip good coffee amidst beautiful plants. They have plenty of seats and tables nestled in the nursery grounds, and some of the tables even have outlets next to them which is amazing considering some formal coffees shops don't even have outlets for their patrons. The nursery offers a decent selection of well-cared for green house plants, succulents and cacti, as well as plants and vegetables for an outdoor garden. There is also a gift shop with common and novelty plant-care themed items. The staff are friendly and the parking is relatively easy. I'll definitely be visiting often to enjoy this fun spot.

As a certified green thumb & coffee nerd, I give Creature's Coffee two thumbs up for its vibe & menu. It's a cute place where plants meet caps, lattes, chais, matchas, and more. It's a charming concept to sit & sip among potted plants poking out from every corner and huddling all around you. You can easily forget that the concrete jungle of city life still surrounds us. I've ducked into the back garden area a few times and always had a nice experience. These are a few of the drinks I've tried. I have to come back and try their Fig & Flame Matcha Cap next. ** Applecore Espresso Tonic** $6.95 Spiced apple & chai syrup with a hint of star anise, served over espresso and topped off with tonic. It's bitter, sweet, tangy, and spicy all-in-one. In fact, it tasted like an elixir that was doing something good for my body. However, I can't say that I would order it again. **Mocha $6.85 My go-to when I'm feeling indulgent: Double shot of espresso with cocoa and 1/2 and 1/2. The coffee is tasty and the added hints of cocoa add a nice, rich flavor. ** Turmeric Latte** Ginger and turmeric blended with spices. I ordered it hot with Macadamia Milk and it was really good. I'd give this drink 4-stars. Beyond a place to sip and chill with the plants all around you, there's a good selection of plants to take home with you. If you're looking for a plant friend or green creature, there are all types. Native plants are also available seasonally. Walk past the coffee bistro area and check out the back shed, if you have time. It's filled with must-have trinkets, gardener's necessities, and a selection of Nature lover's nicknacks. Prices are affordable with good gift ideas. Even my green thumb feels seen :)

The Creatures's Plants and Coffee certainly has vibes, with good coffee and seating amongst the plants. It makes for a cozy place. The Americano is delicious, and I actually think the pottery they sell are fairly priced, too. The one dock I have to give is that a good handful of the indoor houseplants need better care, since I saw both diseases like rot and browning, as well as pests like fungus gnats. It's tough to have sick plants around, but it makes me hesitate to buy because I also don't want to introduce any pests to my houseplants (that happened before, horrible experience!)

Creatures plants and coffee is exactly what we were looking for. A third space where you can start your morning while being surrounded by plants. The greenhouse was a joy to sit in during the rain storm. There is a large variety of plants were all well cared for without pests. We had two flower based coffees which tasted as described. Beyond the flower and honey flavors, the coffee also was light/ medium roast with floral/citrus notes.

A MUST-GO if you're in LA SERVICE: The staff were very friendly and very helpful if you don't know what kind of drink to order. VIBES: VERY BEAUTIFUL! From the outside there's plants available for purchase! Right behind the little cafe is an actual little store where you can find merch (gardening accessories, more plants, stickers, candles, etc). There is also a greenhouse, where there is limited seating. This café is a very unique spot to check out! DRINKS: I ordered a rose latte with oat milk & it was It had a nice balance between sweet / boldness from the espresso! I'm very picky when it comes to coffee and this latte was sooo good!! PARKING: Street parking is available nearby! I had to park near Yosemite St.

First review of 2026! Aesthetically speaking this coffee shop is top notch. Very cute, surrounded by plants, and a greenhouse. Plenty of tables and seating areas scattered throughout the area. Every staff I interacted with was very friendly and polite. There is only street parking but there is plenty of it. I deducted one star because the coffee was average. I ordered an iced rose latte and it was a little lackluster. Overall though worth checking out if in the area.

We had to support this place after I heard of the support they provided Altadena after the fires, by donating to the Regrow Altadena plant stand. We post our home and hundreds of plants. What a great experience. My two favorite things in one place. Coffee and a wide selection of lush beautiful plants, gardening supplies and friendly employee's. Very good coffee, chai latte was delicious and we ventured around and took it all in. Ended up buying a beautiful plant and plan on returning soon.

Creatures, plants, and coffee is located on Eagle rock Blvd. I drove past, when the outdoor decor and plants caught my attention. As I love plants and hot beverages, I turned around for a visit. Small parking lot of maybe 5 spots and street parking is also available. I absolutely love how there are plants everywhere you turn. While I am not a coffee drinker, everywhere there is coffee there is tea. Am I right or am I right? I ordered an Earl grey iced tea which was lovely on a sunny afternoon. I was greeted upon entering and friendly vibes all around. They offer vegan/ gluten free treats from Val's vegan bake shop and Farmshop. Next time, I'll try one of the food menu items as it was only a beverage purchase during my first visit. It was quite relaxing sipping my beverage in the mist of all the beautifully oxygenating plants.

Such a cute coffee shop with a lot of outdoor seating as well as indoor (in a greenhouse!). There's a parking lot outside and also street parking. I ordered a seasonal latte! The coffee was good, but the stand out is definitely the ambience. There is WiFi available, but I would prefer this coffeeshop to get some sun and catch up with some friends.

Adorable. Simply adorable. There is so much to love about this spot. Places like this make me want to pursue botany. But alas, I'll live vicariously through my friends because I already have enough hobbies I've fallen behind on. When you order your coffee, make sure to wander all the way around the property because there's quite a bit to see. There's a greenhouse and gift shop. If you want a break from Starbucks culture but still need to study, consider hunkering down here and doing your remote work in the greenhouse. Parking is a bit of a challenge. My friends were able to find street parking right in front but I had a hard time initially. The surrounding residential streets are packed so I can't even recommend parking there. And now for your frugal auntie tip: they have free dog treats! In various jars throughout, there are complimentary dog treats. When the lovely cashier asked if I wanted to take some, I told them yes but didn't have anything to store them in. They went in back and sweetly handed me a small ziplock bag! I'm about to be the favorite with my boyfriend's dogs. I can already feel it.

What a wonderful little Gem in the community! Coffee AND plants is a recipe for happiness and tranquility. Their staff here are welcoming, kind, and helpful! I tried their season drink (Iced Harvest Spice Latte with Oat milk) and it was so tasty and clearly made from a good quality coffee beans. Family friendly and pet friendly places are hard to come by so If you're around the area definitely check this place out and support your local coffee shop. They do close at 5pm and parking is easy to find.

Stopped by here for a coffee and actually stumbled across a free succulent workshop they were offering. It was taught by Paulie who was very informative about the succulents and was so sweet. I got to arrange my plants which was a very fun and relaxing thing to do on a Saturday morning. At the coffee bar, I ordered an Iced Lavender Latte which was a bit on the bitter side but I still enjoyed it. I ended up going overboard a bought my succulent arrangement as well as two other plants and a pot. I love this place so much I will come back!!

We love this hidden gem of a coffee shop that is enrobed in a plant sanctuary, of sorts, which fosters human connection in a safe and non-hyperstimulating way. Shoutout to my neurodivergents! Their small shack of a coffee kiosk allows you to place your order, then head outside to find your fave seating area or bench. You can creature watch, or even roam among the wide array of plant offerings that they have in stock. Looking for some extra soil or love for your plants or garden? Then you can purchase a bag of soil, or explore the many cute and crafty wares that they have in their tiny shop. Oh, they called your name to pick up your coffee? Swing on back to the window kiosk and enjoy your seasonal or signature latte. We've enjoyed both their rotating menu (Harvest was one of my faves!) or their takes on classics like flat whites. You can't go wrong! Now I'll get back to enjoying my creature watching from a safe distance. Cheers!

Really unique place with good drinks and café food. it's set up with a pickup window so you can look through the greenhouse while waiting for your drink, and there's great seating everywhere. lovely outdoor ambience, would recommend for all plant and coffee enthusiasts

First time here and already smitten! how did I not know this gem existed? Matcha lattes amid lush greenery? Instant new favorite spot. I went for a hot cappuccino, which was absolutely delicious. The restrooms were spotless, and their plant game is on point. clearly they know how to raise thriving greenery. Street parking only, but I had no trouble snagging a spot. Plus, cute little tables outside immersed in the jungles of plants making it even more inviting.

Lovely spot! They have the most darling logo, which I left having purchased a few stickers of for my coffee and plant loving friends. My honey lavender latte was honestly perfect - I could taste both flavors very strongly without it being overly sweet. My friend got an espresso tonic and he enjoyed it. Quiche Lorraine was nice, and they asked if I wanted it warmed up - didn't take long at all. They have a cute shop with pots and other plant accessories and things, I left with a roll of washi tape for journaling. I thought the prices were reasonable!

To drink coffee is like... Creature's Plants & Coffee (est 2024) is a new little coffee shop and nursery nestled in the heart of Eagle Rock neighborhood of LA. They have a wide variety of coffee, tea and pastries on their menu. Furthermore, what set this coffee shop apart is their plant nursery and huge outdoor space. IMHO it's very creative layout that dovetails the two elements. Creature's outdoor and indoor atmosphere provides tranquility and mindfulness while you sip your drink. We arrived on a cool Friday afternoon to check out this coffee shop. And we were ebulliently greeted by a female (pink colored hair) barista. I had a Butter Croissant and Flat White x half-n-half. It was perfectly made to my liking. Prices were reasonable. Service was on point. Parking lot has only four car spots but ample of street parking. Dog friendly. And they do have Free live music events, clothing swaps, workshops, cultural programs etc. Overall, I had a good experience and enjoyed my drink/pastry. And it's a good place to hangout with friends or bring a date. I highly recommend this coffee shop.

I am soooo glad I came back a second time. Honestly, my first visit was disappointing. The shop was fairly new back then, just a month from their opening. Coffee was mediocre and I couldn't justify paying $8 for a watered down, bland coffee. Although the drinks were underwhelming, the ambiance made up for it and it just felt like an oasis - beautiful respite in the middle of busy Eagle Rock. Today, I decided to try this neighborhood coffee shop again. I had the iced mocha with oat milk and I'm well pleased to say that it's not all what I remember it to be. It's a perfect swirl of strong espresso, creamy oat milk, and rich chocolatey flavor. Price is still pretty steep, but hey - we're supporting local business. Ambiance is still lit, you're surrounded by exquisite elements of nature - it definitely feels like you're not in the city. I'll be back!

I absolutely love this spot and wanna go back already! The outside patio is so nice with the plants all around you and there's lots of seating to soak in the sun. I got the Cupid cappuccino with almond milk which was sooooo good! Their espresso is strong and the flavors went really well. All of the staff was friendly and nice too. As a matcha girly, I think their matcha latte was just okay so I would recommend their coffee over their matcha drinks. Parking: street parking

One of my favorite spots on the east side to post up, read a book, meet a friend, or get some work done among the amazing flora. Their always-friendly baristas are usually rocking some creative seasonal drinks. Shop for holiday gifts in the shop or pick up yet one more succulent for your collection. Seating can be competitive, especially in the shade.

What a fantastic concept. This is a legit nursery with a legit coffee shop too. It is so charming with its Zenlike atmosphere. There are even tables in the greenhouse for you to sit and enjoy your coffee while surrounded by beautiful plants and enjoyable music. The outdoor seating area is also lovely. In addition to plants, you can also purchase garden accessories, gift items, and supplies. I received a friendly greeting from Tayla. She was so sweet and patiently waited for me to place my order. The Spicy Mocha sounded intriguing, so I asked for it. I browsed around while waiting for my beverage. There was a lady inside the café on her laptop. I overheard her talking to Tayla and she said that she and another person had worked on the coffee recipes a few days ago in response to some reviews mentioning that the drinks were watered down. It was nice to hear that management/owners read the reviews and decided to make improvements. Obviously, those improvements were already in place because my mocha was spot on. It contained a double shot of espresso, organic cocoa, milk (Your choice. I selected almond.), chipotle chile, ancho chile, & cinnamon. The foam was rich & creamy, the espresso wasn't overpowering, and I could taste the spice on the back end. It was a nice balance. They also sell pastries and cold beverages. If I lived nearby, I'd be here every morning sipping a mocha in this serene & peaceful oasis. *Dog Friendly *Small parking lot & street parking.

It's a cute place, a nursery with a coffee shop. I stopped in as I was walking through the neighborhood. I just checked out their variety of plants and the grounds. I wasn't interested in any thing to drink or eat. I really wanted to see what plants and garden supplies they had on hand. There are scattered chairs and tables throughout the space, it's a pleasant environment. Prices on plants seemed a little high, I couldn't see the the prices on beverages, frankly, I didn't look too hard, I'll likely stop by again with the idea of getting a drink next time around. All in all, it's a cute place.

good americano and a huge selection of indoor and outdoor plants i can't find near me in the DTLA area! my dog loved it too :) they didn't have any pastries when i went though; would've liked to try some.

This was our first time here and we were so impressed! The coffee was amazing, and the barista was friendly and welcoming. What really stood out, though, was the customer service in the garden section. Lei went above and beyond to help us with our Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree questions. She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and approachable--she truly made us feel comfortable asking anything. At one point, she even came to find us just to make sure we had all the answers we needed. Thanks to Lei, our visit was not only enjoyable but also very informative. We left extremely happy and will definitely be coming back. Thank you, Lei, for such a wonderful experience!

Honestly, this cafe is the place of my dreams. I hold extreme love for both plants and coffee and it is a genius idea to combine them into one. You can buy a decent selection of plants and plant accessories/supplies here. On my first visit, the baristas provided a thorough explanation of the business and the drinks. I ordered the Cacao Frappe (blended iced drink made with organic espresso, coconut milk, and sweetened cacao). It tasted of real cacao, not chocolate syrup. The sweetness was well balanced to not overpower the coffee. And I love the fact that they do not charge extra for milk substitutions - which seems to be more common in town than drinking dairy milk. The ambiance is lovely with well spaced outdoor tables throughout. There are even a couple of tables and benches in the greenhouse. A dog was taking a great nap right in the middle when I walked through. I love this place and intend to be a regular.

4= I'm a fan A wonderful space to peruse plants, sip a coffee, and nibble on a pastry. PARKING Early morning. Tons of available space out front. There is a small lot attached to the location. LOCATION Next to Vidiots Theater, this might be on your regular route without knowing it. Just a block and a half down from Colorado / an easy walk to a nice outdoors seating area. Plastic chairs are comfy enough. Large sail shade canvas provides some relief from too much sunshine. Lots of plants to look at and buy. FOOD / COFFEE Anthony purchased a beautiful looking pastry to go with an iced mocha. I got a drip over ice. Strong and fully roasted dark without being burned. It would stand up well to milk or sugar if that's your thing. SERVICE Fantastic. We showed up and created a bit of a mad rush, but the espressos and hot specialty drinks flowed quickly.

The service was great very nice barista, patient! The outside was so nice A lot of plants to purchase, cute places to take pics read study or have a coffee date! The matcha I tried was good not too sweet, we did also try the mango matcha not my favorite was a little too sour not what I was expecting for matcha but overall great spot

I really enjoyed the space and the concept of coffee and pants. Their greenhouse is very cool. This place has a lot of outdoor space surrounded by plants available for purchase. It's is Dog friendly too!

I LOVE the aesthetic of this place but this is my second time coming here and I'm sorry but I'm not sure what it is but this coffee from this place in not my favorite. I LOVE coffee but this spot from the 2 drinks that I have tried I didn't like. First time that I came here and ordered there Rose Iced Latte 3/10 rate taste a lot of rose ! Not a fan. And second time I ordered a Vanilia Iced Latte 5/10 rate not my type of vanilla latte I would go for here. Has a bunch of plants to purchase and just a really nice relaxing place to catch up with work or with friends. Sadly I don't see myself coming back.

Street parking only - they have 3 car lot for 10 min loading/unloading and one handicap spot. It does get pretty busy on the weekend, but great space that combines two of my favorite things!

I love this spot! It's got such a relaxed, yet fun vibe! There's so many cute plants to look at (and shop for hehe). The staff are all super friendly and helpful. I ordered an iced mocha latte and it had a great flavor without being too sweet. The pastries were amazingggg! The ham and cheese croissant and Italian danish were both flaky and light. I would definitely recommend both! The best part is that this place is also super dog friendly. They have free treats and water for your pups! Can't wait to come back again!

Good coffee, cute plants, large outdoor space. Plenty of street parking and there are lots of seating options if you want to hang out.

Service and operations. They had one employee working both the customer line and coffee line. SUPER SLOW. I phone ordered in to help expedite process. When I arrived I still had to wait in line, only to have the employee say, "ok, those will be ready soon, I just need to make them." Proceeded to make other drinks from customers who just ordered in lines. It's should take this long to get lemonade and coffee.

This place was so cute. Had the rose latte w almond milk and it was delicious. My order was ready not even a minute after I ordered. Stayed to do some work on my laptop. They had an outlet. Overall very cute vibes.

Such a cutie coffee and plant shop. I came here to work on a pretty summer day and it's exactly what I needed. There's plenty of seating throughout their outdoor space and they even have seating in their greenhouse. If you're looking for outlets there are a few inside where you purchase coffee and a couple outside of the greenhouse. Coffee was delicious (I ordered two drinks) and reasonably priced. I especially love that they have seasonal drinks and it's only .25 to swap for a milk substitute. There's also a really cute store attached as well + and most importantly, plants to purchase everywhere! If you're looking for a unique place to work, study or just vibe, this is it. Oh, and special shoutout to their croissants... fire.

Now let's sip on drinks and spill the tea: First visit, chai latte--$7, and sadly, More steamed milk than spice, a bit of a miss-- Not one I'd revisit for a chai like this. Round two, an iced matcha took the stage, Vibrant and green, but a little unwhisked rage. Clumps of matcha greeted my straw-- I drank it anyway, though some might withdraw. Drinks? Subpar. But that's not the pull-- It's the plants, the vibe, the air that's full Of calm and green and whispers of growth-- Come for the plants, and you'll leave with both: A sip of coffee, a clump of matcha, And maybe a new plant to take home with ya.

First impression I thought this place was gem. Vibes are cute and loved the greenhouse. However for a coffee spot this place is not it. We ordered 2 iced lattes and it was watery. The coffee tasted so watered down I'm not sure what I was drinking and on top of that they were charging $8 a cup of coffee and extra for alternative milks. I understand inflation but wow! This place has so much potential I hope they try or test out other coffee roast.

Hello, I recently visited Creature's Plants and Coffee and it was so nice. I have patiently waited it's opening since 2024 when I first heard of it and I was very impressed. The layout of the store is intentional and thoughtful. I ordered a refreshing rose lemonade to sip on while walking through and admiring all the plants. There were places to sit all throughout and the greenhouse was nicely done as well. Beautiful concept, mindfully executed. Will definitely revisit to enjoy a peaceful stroll, shop for plants and enjoy a cup of coffee!

Cold brew was good. Ambience was very good. Cashier had an attitude like I owed him something. Hence three stars.

Great vibes and great coffee. I got a vanilla latte with oatmilk and a vegan chocolate chip cookie. The coffee was great and the cookie was big and delicious. There is plenty of outdoor seating. In the courtyard there is seating amongst the succulents and my favorite spot was in the green house with the leafy plants. Pretty unique coffee shop.
