I absolutely love this store! I don’t shop anywhere else for makeup anymore. All the products are amazing, but I want to specifically shout out the staff members there. I have the best experience and I’m always welcomed when I come in. Katina always knows the best gifts for people and helps me find products that I need! Definitely Recommend this location.

I had such a fantastic experience at Credo in San Francisco! Katina was incredibly knowledgeable and experienced—she took the time to understand my skincare needs and made thoughtful recommendations with such kindness and care. Onni greeted me with a warm, genuine smile that made the whole atmosphere feel inviting, and Audrey went above and beyond by sharing some amazing local restaurant tips. A perfect blend of expertise and hospitality—thank you, Credo team!

Absolutely fantastic products. I was referred to this store by a friend and was looking to completely change my skincare routine. The lady’s were so nice and helpful and had a ton of information and recommendations based on my skin type. It is on the expensive side, but their products are completely worth it! All natural ingredients and all around high quality! Definitely found my new skincare go to.

Have found some of my favorite beauty brands just browsing and asking questions of the staff here. So knowledgable and friendly! Love treating myself here.

Katina (I hope that is how i spell your name) is a wonderful ball of energy! I was real curious about alot, and she gave me a generous amounts of information! the history of the company, the products you range, and was really looking for solutions for us on the fly! ily!!! Warm service from the entire team. The rest of the team are great, because they are willing to help, really show up and are super uplifting and cheery. If i was having a bad day, walking into this store would put me in a great mood. I hope this review helps you all out, because you deserve it. Kudos to this team! Can't wait to be back.

This is by far my favorite beauty store! They make the transition to clean beauty SO easy and have fantastic staff who give great recommendations. The investment is worth it and they have an awesome recycling program (make sure to wash out items you bring to them for recycling!). The products they have compare to (and often beat) the quality of what you find in a Sephora, not to mention they are better for you AND the environment. Give it a try, I have no doubt you'll love it!

Anthony was fabulous! He was knowledgeable and helped with a whole list of things I needed (did a makeup overhaul to switch to clean makeup). He found me a killer lipstick, which I got a lot of compliments for. Very sweet and helpful. Did a lovely express facial too. Love this store. Wish there was one in Germany.

I used to be a big fan of credo beauty - until this experience at the Fillmore store. The two staff who greeted me were rude and inattentive. Even my boyfriend pointed out the attitude of the staffs. I went in looking for a serum Because my current one is too dry. The staff suggested an oil based one, which I was reluctant to try. She then said gave me a lecture on how all hydrating serums are oil based. And while rearranging the skincare products on the counter and without looking at me, she asked me what skincare I used. When I mentioned a brand she never heard of , she asked the other staff “ have you ever heard of this brand? I know i have never.” It’s been a couple days since the day I was there but the experience was so poor I decided to leave a review. Will never visit again.

I loooove Credo Beauty! I adore that it's in my neighborhood and I can pop in anytime I need a quick fixer. They have the best colors and the ladies there are always attentive and asking if I need help with anything. I appreciate that in a store! They're not just about sales, they really believe in the quality of their products. It's a wonderful testament to clean, green beauty products. I love that you can try anything on to see how it works for your skin. I can just purchase lip stain, to eye shadow, face wash, and sunscreen, to moisturizer. My favorite is the Everyday Oil. It smells amazing and probably the best product that they have in the store. I mean everything is wonderful,, but this one stands out among the rest. It feels absolutely intoxicating on the skin. I would bathe with this if given the chance. It can go on my hair, face, all over my skin and it just makes my body so incredibly soft and smooth.

Love that I can shop here knowing that all their products are clean beauty without having to think twice about anything. Overall my experience has been good but I felt the some of the employees are nicer and more helpful than others. I've found some great brands that otherwise would not have known about otherwise. Discovered Vapour brand makeup brushes through them and they are the absolute best!!

Great products, however, the staff are being pushed to harass the customers a bit too much here. If I say I am just looking around (as it is my first time here) then I just want to look around. Did you all think I was stealing or something!? This is why I left the store because I didn't like being questioned consistently without my space and time looking at the products myself. If I have a question, I will have a question and ask. Management, please fix this and maybe I will return.

I can NOT go back in there again. I happened to pop in on Sunday with a friend and we each planned to buy our makeup and skincare for the summer months. We probably spend well over $1k a year at that Credo, but after Sunday's experience we're going online. The staff were borderline stalkers. We said umpteen times we were just looking but each staff person took it in turns to ask each one of us if we needed anything. After the 4th time with a 4th staffer, I just politely asked her to leave me alone but as soon as I went to a high ticket item from Africa Botanics she came running over to me and said "have you tried this before?" I wanted to buy it but felt so stressed by the constant following around. Is there a way they can ensure just one person approaches a shopper? This was so stressful.

I really wanted to like Credo since my friends sometimes shop here. The only way brick and mortar retail stores can survive the dominance of Amazon is by providing kind, helpful, and attentive service. I had very limited time and came in to get a gift card. Jenny wanted all my information to be entered in their system and also wanted to look up who I was buying the gift card for. That seems like a bit much, no? Jenny also informed me they didn't have any small gift envelopes, and offered me a medium size bag. This would have been a silly way to deliver a gift card. Additionally there was a promotion for a little travel size of products with a $150 or more purchase. I asked, but Jenny said their promotion has ended. For a store hoping to be of a certain caliber having a promotion up but refusing to sell to a customer is unacceptable. If you're going for high end, start with exceptional high end service. Everything else will follow. I usually will give 2 stars to any establishment I wouldn't want to Visit again. However, the gift card made my friend happy. Hence the extra star. You got lucky Credo!

Normally, I enjoy my experiences at Credo and find most of the consultants and reps very friendly,personable and helpful as well as knowledgeable. I especially always enjoy Katina, who has been a star with the store for several years now since I've been a customer. However, I was unexpectedly really put off by my experience today with the store manager, Maria, who was very rude when I went to return a couple of products I had just purchased during the sale this weekend (I actually found a better deal for the same items on the Credobeauty website and directly on Tara Harper). During my return, Maria, immediately and very rudely/dismissively claimed she couldn't return one of the items because the bottom of the box had a couple of dents. I objected and explained to her that the box had come like that, and I hadn't even opened or used the products and had just purchased them that weekend during the time she was there. She tried to deny the return again and when I objected again, she relented and claimed that she would only do the return for me this once and that normally she couldn't do a return when boxes are damaged. I said that's fine, but once again, I was not responsible for the box being damaged and that I hadn't even opened either box and both boxes weren't dented. Regardless if it's store policy, I shouldn't be penalized for ASSumed responsibility for something I hadn't done, and Maria could've been handled this in a much more respectful, fair, and diplomatic way instead of being dismissive, presumptive, and rude. I had already spent almost $600 with my purchases between the store and online, and I found it incredibly upsetting to be denied almost $100 because of a dent and to continue to be blamed for something that wasn't even my fault. After completing my return, Maria informed me that they were having some issues with returns not showing up in people's emails or the system for the last day and to call back if there was an issue. I asked her just in case there was an issue if she could print out a return receipt, which she wasn't able due to the system, so I asked what the amount for the return was, and she gave me some random number of approx $156 (it was actually $180) and also what her name was. She seemed put off by my asking these things just in case as a reference. Katina and the other consultant who were there both politely and out of concern asked how I was doing after the exchange with Maria, which I really appreciated. Also, I noticed a couple of times while shopping this weekend that when a couple of the ladies had approached to help me and I was conversing with, that she would ask them to go stock something or assign them with another task. Whenever, I have been in the store, I've not particularly found Maria very warm or welcoming, and she seems inconvenienced a lot. As a manger, Maria really needs to work on her attitude, customer service and communication skills, and how she treats and speaks to others. She should know better and be a better example. Katina and the other ladies and gents that work there provide much better service and have a better attitude. Katina, in my opinion, should also be a manager or higher level given her exceptional service, knowledge, and warmth over the past several years with the company and that store. Lastly, I think it would be really helpful and much better if the sales online and in store matched as I found some of the same products were a better deal online than in the store, and there were also certain brands and products available online that are not available in store.

recently got to try out the Aloe Vera Infused Herbal Lipstick, and I must say, I am impressed by the results. This lipstick provides the perfect combination of hydration, nourishment, and a pop of color. The aloe vera ingredient ensures that my lips stay moisturized all day long and prevents any cracking or flaking, which used to be a big problem for me with other lipsticks.https://bringbeautytime.com/

I keep on going in when I'm in San Francisco and I'm constantly disappointed by the customer service. No one seems to really know the products very well and you can't seem to get any help in the makeup section.

Updating my review. After being rapidly sold products which looked like ick by the time I got back to my car. I returned my unopened products with my receipt. They claimed to be unable to process a credit card refund because I didn't have a profile. Curious but whatever I'll come back and scheduled a make up session. Got all set but oops they don't have the products I picked but lucky me they'll send them to me for free. I'm supposed to be grateful for free shipping when you don't have product? Still I'm ok because I'll get what I want. Fast forward two weeks and nada- no shipment, no email no nuthin. I call. First she says "oh you paid part with a gift certificate" Uhhh yeah because... oh never mind, where's my stuff that I paid for? I finally got a tracking number. No link. No carrier listed. Never any apology. Customer service D. Hopefully I'll get my stuff tomorrow. We'll see. There are other places to buy safe products. This one was convenient. So I thought!

I LOVE Credo for their 'clean' products!! That I give a 5 star!! The reason for the 3 star is the staff could improve a lot on product knowledge and customer service. For every 3-4 visits, I will be lucky to have 1 knowledgeable person that understands what I'm seeking, thus makes great recommendations and gives great tips! There have been two instances when I went to the store, but instead I walked by instead of entering the store because I recognize faces that have been nice, but not knowledgeable therefore not helpful.

The main objective of the staff here is to sell sell sell. Totally understandable, however, staff was not very knowledgeable about the products. Couldn't even tell me if it would clog pores or not. It was a lovely store with great ambiance. The staff could be more knowledgeable.

If you're not their desired client, forget it. They definitely only have interest in the PAC heights folks.

If you're trying to go clean with your skincare/bodycare I highly suggest you check out Credo. I've had Credo bookmarked for quite sometime and finally got a chance to check them out the other month. We got luckily and found parking on the first try a door down. Yes, the parking gods were on our side that day! I've been wanting to go clean with my beauty care products for quite sometime and have taken small baby steps. At Credo I was on a mission to find a natural deoderant for hubby & I. They have a decent selection of natural deodorants. The employee was friendly but let us have our space but was still approachable. She answered a few questions I had as well. I like how Credo has a wide range of price points, from items you may find at Whole Foods such as Acure to higher price items such as Tata Harper to fit everyone's wallet. Though, to be frank, most of the items are in the mid to higher price point. Our deodorants by Kaia were in the $20ish range. It's about 4x the amount I paid for my Dove deodorant but is much more ingredient friendly. Credo takes all the thinking out for you to research products with safe ingredients. You can also purchase items on their site. I eventually want to also explore clean foundation and powder. I'll be back to Credo for another clean shopping run.

Love to have found this wonderful store! Sometimes it can be overwhelming to find truly sustainable, clean products online but I feel like Credo does the job for me! Will definitely start coming here exclusively for my hair and beauty products.

This is the green beauty mecca that I've been fantasizing about my whole life! It's great to have an actual storefront that carriers an expansive selection of non-toxic green beauty and personal care products. I'm a huge proponent of only using products that have an ethical backbone, products that are free of parabens, sulfates, and the so-called nasties! Aka, all the chemically fortified mainstream products you see on shelves of traditional retailers do not exist here. They are selective in the ingredients they choose to carry. Your skin is your shield, but it's also a barrier in which you must protect and nourish with the right ingredients because the wrong ingredients over time can actually damage your skin. I like that Credo carries a wide variety of non-toxic beauty brands such as RMS, ILIA, W3ll People, Vapour Organic Beauty, Lily Lolo, etc. and that you can try on colors in store. That's such a privilege in my opinion because ordering online can be so hit or miss and returning is a hassle too. Testing in stores is critical because you get to see the formulations first hand and see if the makeup jives well with your complexion. The store is beautifully laid out and each collection has its own real estate within. They also carry skin care, sun care, and hair care products. These products can be pricey but think of it as an investment over time! The only thing that I think they can improve upon is the customer service. They aren't exactly at Sephora's level yet and can use a class or two on customer service. The whole time I was there I felt like I was at a self-service beauty bar assisting myself. I was already on a high buying things from this store but they could have took more of my money had they been a little more attentive, especially since the store only had a couple customers at the time I was there. The other times, I decided to just purchase online.

I'm not wearing a ton of makeup, but after hearing and reading a bit about conventional cosmetics, I'm pretty grossed out. And since clean eating is already a big part of my life, I'm finally making the switch over to natural cosmetics and body care as well. After all, your skin is "eating" all that stuff you put on it, too. The downside of this new found consciousness: you have to do A LOT of research and question every single product you consume (the EWG is a good resource for cosmetics, if you want to know more). And here's where Credo comes into play, they have done the research already. They assured me that this is probably the safest store I can be in, if I'm at all concerned about ingredients. Seeing the kind of brands they carry, I have no doubt and feel confident about my purchase. Sure, a lot of the products are pricey, but a little goes a long way. If you value quality over quantity, Credo is a good place to start. They carry W3LL people which I wanted to check out for a while, but since they are redoing their lines, they were out of a lot of these products. Nevertheless, I good some good recommendations on alternatives and left with some illuminating serum and a gorgeous, nice wearing lipstick. I'm quite happy with both and will definitely be back to check on W3LL people.

This review is for the store as well as the website. Credo is my new discovery and I'm a big fan of this "clean" version of Sephora! They're a lot smaller than sephora which means a lot more personal attention and experienced assistance. I was able to return a foundation I purchased the wrong color of online in stores. I know i'll be returning in the near future! Just wish it wasn't so far away

Take it from this truly delicate creature, Credo Skin Care at 2136 Fillmore Street, is THE skin care salon in Northern California for the discerning soul, seeking ultimate external healthy/beaut care and supplies. I, personally am a GOOP Girl, why? The superior formulation of environmental and health conscious ingredients form the Company's ethos from inception'; I have never been disappointed and have always been pleasantly surprised with each nuance. I once suffered with eczema and had a very limited offering of healthy beauty produces at my avail, Gwyneth has done an amazingly well-informed job of having her research team identify and address the needs of highly sensitive skin, combined with produces that speck to the trinity of mind, body, sprite, which has not been the case with so many other "beauty" brands. Credo Skin Salon of San Francisco has wisely capitalized on Goop's Glory, as well as many, many other eco-loving/holistic/healthy beauty products that address the trinity, and made a significant inventory available to the conscientious, healthy beauty care investor here in Northern California, of which I am greatly appreciative of. If your external health and appearance is as important as your internal, do yourself a kindness and pop in at our San Francisco, CREDO SKIN SALON, located on historic Fillmore Street, the city's Jazz capital, in the heart of the Western Addition of San Francisco, California and book yourself a facial while you're at it. My previous 4-star review is now 1-star based on my experience today. Over the years I have spent hundreds of dollars each time I've walked into Credo and today was no exception spending over $200 so I'd say I'm a pretty good customer. When I came in today I was the only customer in the store I picked up my items, spending maybe 10-15min with the associate. I paid and inquired about my points and what I was eligible to receive. The male manager came out from behind the counter and started going through what my 500+ points were eligible for. I was shopping with my 2 year old son who was in a stroller and grouchy as 2 year olds can be. As the manager started telling me the point products I was trying to comfort my 2 year old. Well apparently that was the wrong thing to do. The manager walked away in a huff and said "I'll come back when you're ready", because there were so many invisible customers in the store??? or because you, a 30+ year old man, was trying to compete with a 2 year old for my attention. Let me tell you the 2 year old will win every time. I made it clear to my manager that was son was 2. To the manager - you may not know this, but mom's have super multi tasking powers, I can hear you, comfort my son and get his sippy cup ready all at the same time without missing a beat. So you throwing a hissy fit because I wasn't giving you my undivided attention was complete bs. Grow up dude, you're a man not a toddler. To make the situation worse, I left the store without my "samples" and headed up the street to Starbucks where someone had left their board right outside the front door making it near impossible to get in with a stroller. I politely told the barista the situation. She told me the sign didn't belong there then walked out from behind the counter, out the front door and moved the sign. Now that is customer service. That's the difference between a Starbucks employee and Credo manager. I know where I'll be spending my money in the future. The next time I walk into Credo it won't be to buy, it will be to pick up my free points goods and they will never see me again after that.

After being under the sun too much recently, I have decided to get a "Luxury Facial" at Credo. Minette, the esthetician I had, was super friendly and extremely knowledgeable about skincare. I was very impressed with the detailed information, knowledge, and suggestions that she has shared with me. The whole facial process felt relaxing, and I had the impression that the ingredients and products used were natural and clean, nothing chemical or artificial. Minette has also helped the facial area that was damaged by the sun exposure. After the entire facial, my skin well hydrated, firm, and very refreshing. The staff at the store was equally friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

I'm a big fan of makeup made from healthy, natural ingredients. After breaking out, both literally and figuratively using department store makeup, I decided my skin needed a change. That's when I started my research and read the book "No more dirty looks." My life (and beauty regime) was changed for the better. I started focusing on knowing what ingredients were good for my skin and what ingredients were used to basically preserve a dead body. (Yep, like formaldehyde). Credo was one of the places I discovered, and what a godsend it is. The staff is helpful, fun, and educated on all things natural and when I visit them, I always come home with products I love. I even had my makeup done for a big event here and it lasted for hours. Go here if you're sick of makeup that makes your skin dull and you're looking for a change for the healthier cleansing habits.

I'm in love with Credo! They have so many cool products, it's perfect for people like me looking to go nontoxic/clean in their beauty regimen. Katina was super helpful with helping me find the right shade of foundation and powder. She was also super sweet and knew her stuff. I'll definitely be back for more goodies and am dying to try one of their facials! UPDATE: I've finally tried the facials and no surprise it was amazing! My skin has always been difficult and there was definitely a noticeable difference in my skin clarity and texture after my facial(s). And credit to my credo facialist for helping me figure out how to manage my skin better from products to diet. I will definitely come in for consistent facials from here on out!

I think that credo has great products but they can definitely improve on their customer service. I called ahead of time to ask about a return and I got the go ahead. Drove out to SF, paid a really expensive meter, only for them to contradict what they had told me on the phone. I couldn't make the the return or get store credit. I have to call customer service to manage it and the only offer the manager gave me was 10% off a $20 purchase. It's not really worth it to shop there and buy expensive products if their customer service isn't helpful.

I've heard about this place by word of mouth and via online searches for safe beauty products. The store is quite small and was stock full of shoppers today. With the lack of aisle space the customers and staff were tripping over each other. Regardless, the customer service was excellent; a young lady helped me color match my foundation and recommended the best products for my complexion. I found everything I needed quickly (a major plus when your boyfriend is patiently waiting while you shop). Items were a bit pricey but It seems worth spending a bit more on the essentials to avoid slathering your face in toxic chemicals... after all we only get one face, right?!

I am nearby the neighborhood where Credo on Fillmore is located so I am familiar with the store since it's opening and have attempted to go in to shop/peruse in the past, and that's the extent of my experience with this aesthetically appealing store. Unfortunately, I never felt "welcomed" as one might expect anywhere you are a customer whether in Pac Heights or the Mission or Timbuktu. Fast forward to January 11, 2021, pandemic style, I decided I wanted some fresh make-up staples being that it had been a long time since I've purchased - even long before the pandemic - and considered Credo again since I was specifically looking for "clean beauty" makeup. Why not now?! It's a perfect time to freshen up the eyes with a pop of mascara (by Ilia), a liquid eyeshadow (also Ilia's), and a brow gel since eyes are the main attraction as long as we are wearing masks; I also couldn't resist the Clean Line gel liner in Dusk and the multi-stick Dreamer by Ilia as well. I digress on the makeup but the main event for me was meeting Katina! Katina, hands down is an outstanding person who exudes professionalism and warmth at the same time; she has been here for I believe 5 years and I am only learning about her now?! I related to her because of her maturity, and being 50+ I appreciated working with someone who gets "less is more" on the face not to mention what is complimentary on the skin tone while factoring wearing a mask and lifestyle - this was all a real bonus for me at least. She is also very knowledgable about the brands at Credo which also boosted my confidence level with what I was purchasing. I should also mention in the times of Covid, I felt extremely safe being inside the small space and trying on what I could (limited due to Covid); Katina kept the area we were working on sanitized at all times. And, while she was helping me with products, she also had her eye on in-coming guests and always gave them a friendly welcome into the store. Please keep Katina around at all times....this will keep me coming back!

From now on, I will only shop for my skincare/makeup needs at Credo Beauty. Ever since my mom was diagnosed with cancer, I really pay attention to the stuff I put on my face/body and what I eat. There are so many ingredients out there that can hurt us and if we don't pay attention to it, it can result in negative ailments such as cancer etc. What I love about Credo beauty is that they care about what goes into the items that they sell. The products boast all natural ingredients. I was amazed to find out that the ladies who work there are also licensed estheticians. I initially found out about Credo through a gilt deal which led me to Natalie. She provided me with an amazing facial and introduced me to a few skincare products that I purchased and will purchase. The little spa room they have is incredibly tranquil and welcoming. After your facial, they have an adorable thank you card for you. I love that they have Tata Harper because I'm such a fan! The service is amazing and they also provided samples as needed. I will definitely return. Can't wait. Thanks ladies for a great first time experience. Love! If you care about what you put on your face/body, check this place out. It's worth the investment and they know their stuff. Highly recommend.

Such a great concept in the beauty world. I used to work in the industry as a marketing guru and I am so glad stores like this are now popping up around the country. Long story short a former Sephora CEO wanted a smaller version of a Sephora store but with products made in the USA and has no chemicals, no animal testing, etc. This used to be a Jurlique store (an Australian skincare line) and I'm happy that pretty much all of the employees are working here now. It was nice to walk in and everyone remembered me! Splurged on the 90 minute facial since I've been traveling a lot lately and having spent a lot of time sunbathing this summer, my skin was feeling really dull. Alexandra the esthetician is so sweet and welcoming. She gives the best facials and made my skin feeling renewed. It was a very relaxing experience. Her extractions are very gentle. The products used are from Tata Harper, an organic skincare line from the east coast. Felt like my face was glowing. Highly recommend this experience!!

I walked into Credo today and was helped by Katina! I recently made the decision to try out makeup that's paraben and sulfate-free as I struggle with hormonal acne, but had no idea where to start. Katina was very transparent by encouraging me to go home with some samples so that I'm not wasting money on a ton of products that aren't going to work for my skin type. She grabbed a couple of cleanser samples for me, and then also helped to color match me for foundation, bronzer, etc. We'll see how my skin takes the products I purchased, but I was happy with the in-store selection and the service provided! Their stuff is pricey, but I'd recommend checking Credo out if you have sensitive skin or just trying to purchase more ethical beauty products.

Totally Natural. Super Good. Absolutely Beautiful. I love Credo Beauty! The world is long overdue for a natural beauty store like Credo. The concept behind the store is completely unique. Credo carries over 70 natural beauty brands with products ranging from skincare, to makeup, shampoo, bath products, hand sanitizer, sunscreen, and even products safe for moms and babies. I no longer have to hunt down my favorite natural beauty products because they are all under one roof! A huge plus is that all of the staff are estheticians and makeup artists and are experts in the field of beauty. In addition to the retail store front, Credo also offers Makeup applications, lessons, brow and lip waxing, mini facials and an exclusive Tata Harper Spa treatment room in the back that will open in a few weeks time. I feel at peace shopping at Credo because I know that any product the store carries is natural, but just as effective and absolutely beautiful.

Once upon a time, a trip to the US of Aye would have had me making a beeline for one well known French cosmetic store that until recently also offered makeup and skincare at competitively low rates compared to what we could purchase them for in Australia. Seduced by their bright lights, eager beaver sales staff and perfectly positioned sample size products before the register, I would fall back in love with this store and walk out with cosmetics of all kinds. Lately, however, I've been on a mission to detox my skincare and cosmetics and somewhere through that journey of decluttering I came across Credo Beauty. Initially an online store, they have newly opened a store on Fillmore Street and I eagerly bookmarked it in Yelp ready for my arrival to the area. Conveniently just a 15 minute stroll from my hotel, an afternoon wandering through Credo was the perfect Jet Lag Remedy. As well as being a calm sanctuary with shelves simply stocked with toxin-free, organic and natural skincare and cosmetics, most of these five stars go to Natalie, the sales assistant who helped me out. She wasn't pushy, nor did she follow me around the store once I mentioned I was just having a look. When I asked if she had any single-use moisturising masks for my skin post-flight she offered the alternative of a mini-facial in store using some of the Tata Harper and MV Skincare products. For $35USD I was treated to a double-cleanse, moisturiser, mask, hand massage and finishing serums. For one tired Australian off a long-haul flight, this was just the "Treat Yo Self" moment I needed. And my thirsty post-pressurised cabin skin is still thanking me for the extra attention. Plus, take a look at the photos for the incredibly sweet thank you card she wrote and popped into my bag of goodies. Pro Tip: Don't be afraid to ask for assistance here. They're not pushy and want to genuinely help you find the product to suit you.

Been loyal since they started because they have a GREAT selection of products but the service is not in par with the prices. I think the girls on the floor "try" to be nice in a tense kind of way. it feels like one of those places where the staff is keeping their best face but they actually dislike the management. For a fairly new company I would expect a more eager to please feeling and this place doesn't have that. Ive referred a BUNCH of people there but not anymore Sorry guys. No loyalty program, no bags today, crappy giveaways, call you backs that never happened ....and hundreds of dollars of purchase yikes! Awesome concept but please consider being more customer oriented. This place feels like your highly opinionated friend that sucks at friendship. Ill probably give Credo one more try at some point in the future but Im not rushing to go there any time soon, too many strikes.

Its been 3 weeks since my facial and the spots I had after the facial are gone and my skin is now actually smooth and really soft and my texture has improved drastically as well. Updating my review for Emily as the last one I wrote was a couple days after the facial and my skin didn't look great, but now that its had time to heal from the extractions its visibly better. Taking a star off since the blackheads on my nose weren't extracted and that's the only thing I'd like to change about this facial.

Hate going into to this store! Staff are consistently cold and rude. One time I went in and I had just quickly eaten a burger at Roam up the street. The girl who was rude to me the last time I was in rung me up and kept giggling to herself. I was like "uhhh what's so funny?" and she didn't say anything! Like just straight up ignored my question. Then when I checked my makeup on the way out I had like a piece of lettuce in my teeth lol. I thought people like this only existed in high school or in movies. Many of the products are overpriced and shitty, there's a lot of crap to wade through in the "clean" beauty world to find the gems. I'm now a devoted user of the Marie Veronique line that they carry but I REFUSE to purchase here even though the shop is so close to my apartment. Go to Ayla, it's close by and carries a lot of the same lines. You'll have a much better experience! Staff there are welcoming, knowledgeable, and take their time to make sure you're getting the right thing.

Had a pretty horrible customer experience trying to book a wax. I live Credo and buy a lot of their products online but when I tried to call I was put on hold twice only to then be hung up on. I finally tried again the next day and there was virtually no availability and only able to book 2 weeks out. The person I spoke to was pretty rude and short with me and all of these was just due to me trying to redeem my loyalty points for a brow wax. Feels a little bit like one of those things where they give you the reward points but then make it impossible for you to actually use them.

The shop is a lot smaller than I was expecting. The online store has a lot more selection and better customer service. I made a return online & I was credited right away. The shop is good if you want to browse and check out the selection but I personally prefer the online store because returns were easy. I was the only one in the store. Even though I said I didn't need any help, she was pretty hands off until someone came in with a dog. Parking wasn't bad but I came at an off peak hour. If you plan on staying more than 30 minutes I'd advise taking a Lyft or Muni instead. I will continue to shop here because they have an awesome selection of nontoxic products but don't count on much customer service in the store. That was just my impression.

Absolutely obsessed with this store. I've been using all natural and organic products for the last couple of years and this is the first store I've come across that has a long list of "dirty" ingredients that they do not carry in their store. The sales girls are always so friendly and helpful. They ask about your what you're looking for and what type of skin you have and they make great recommendations. They definitely seem like they enjoy the natural beauty space and can make honest recommendations.

This review is for Hannah who SUCKED at helping me while I was shopping at Credo yesterday. My first visit was great and ended up spending $700 because Katina knew what she was doing. She was very knowledgeable, very sweet & very helpful. Second time, not so great. The store was busy which i understand but anytime i was trying to get someone's (Hannah) attention for basically asking her what were her best selling items for masks, I kept getting shut down in a rude way. The "I don't have time attitude". and "why are you asking me that question?" I did end up buying some products - close to $400.. ON MY OWN .. but I left the store very unhappy and in a hurry. Oh by the way..I was so excited about this store and took my friend w/me for her first time. She spent a lot less and got some delicious samples from the other sales person. Me: spent 5 times more than her and got a rude goodbye. Thanks Credo for your great customer service. Cheers.

Just adore Misha (hope I spelled her name correctly)!! She is literally such a dazzling woman and has so much experience in the beauty industry that makes her such a good resource for those of us transitioning over to clean beauty & navigating new products, formulations and brands! You can tell she practIces good skincare and her makeup is beautiful and never overdone. I always look for her when I visit bc I want her to help me!! She's not only knowledgeable, she is very kind and welcoming and has really great energy. She's why I keep shopping at Credo thank you for being amazing!

Service has improved astronomically in the past year. Credo seems to have heard customer complaints about unwelcoming associates and have hired a diverse, knowledgeable, and FRIENDLY staff. Super happy to make my purchases there now!

This is one of the most pleasant experiences I have ever had at a beauty store, hence the review (I almost never write reviews!). I came in today for the friends and family sale, and was immediately greeted by Misha! Makeup shopping can be overwhelming and intimidating but Misha was extremely helpful and patient with me, as I am a newbie to all things beauty. I told her my skin concerns and she went over products and ingredients that would work for me. She basically tailored a beauty routine from beginning to end just for me! I would recommend all beauty lovers to stop by this store and ask for Misha! I will be back very soon!

I went to Credo today, I had never been before. I was shocked an upset about how the manager (Mackenzie) treated her associate ( in front of us customers). She was extremely and unnecessarily rude to one of the employees who was doing a great job. It was very uncomfortable to witness. A manager who treats her employees like this should not get away with this. I'm very disappointed and sad that anyone should have to work with this woman who would belittle another adult like that especially in front of customers. I hope that something can be done about this.

I am so obsessed with Credo. This place is not only your one stop beauty spot, but they also have a spa and hold brand events. I found Credo on instagram a few months ago and have not been able to keep myself away. They carry amazing high end green beauty brands such as herbivore, rms, ilia, w3ll people, kjaer weis, lily lolo, Juice Beauty etc. Not only are the products amazing, but the workers are too. The lady who helped me was extremely nice and informed. They took excellent care of me, my experience was definitely personable . I left with just what I needed, plus some samples. Will def be back ASAP

I was looking forward to visiting this store and finding new products, however ladies that work here have their noses up very, very high as if they are some very important individuals. Snobbish, arrogant women. Even if you sell the best products in California I would not and I will not ever purchase anything from this store. Manager of this store needs to reeducate and retrain its staff. I cannot remember that I ever had such experience. Awful, just awful.

I don't even like makeup and I love this place!! I am sensitive to chemicals particularly perfume and this place does not overwhelm. Good quality products, love the Ilia lipsticks

WOW. (THIS REVIEW IS BECAUSE OF ALEXANDRA)! Story: I was a pedestrian hit by a truck and survived. It's been painful and emotional. Some of the injuries are scars from the fractured right orbital and lacerations which have made me completely self conscious. Since then, I've been reading the labels more carefully on skincare and cosmetics. It's shocking to see some of the ingredients that I've been putting on/in my body! If I could, I would want to live my life strictly organic without GMO's... (I even switched my dog's food, too). I've made a few purchases online from other holistic and natural sites based on reviews, color swatches, and recommendations but they never matched my tone or they were different than what was shown. I knew I had to make the effort to go into a store to see/test brands of interest in person! Enter Credo Beauty... First brick and mortar store/spa. I walked in and saw two women by the counter. Alexandra smiled and greeted me - I felt a sense of relief and comfort immediately. I knew what I wanted: eyeshadow, eyebrow powder, foundation, and a good skincare regime. We spent about an hour together and during that time, no products were pushed but rather focused on ones I requested and a few of her favorites. I ended up happily spending more money because of my experience! She added a few samples which I've been using the past few days and I'm sold on them already. I'm glowing and seeing improvements. Improvements I haven't seen since the accident. Not only did she LISTEN to my needs but I began to feel confident. I can walk out of the house and smile... I actually met a girlfriend that day for dinner and she immediately complimented me on my complexion! Bonus was that she came over to try the samples and I sold her on the products, too. She'll be joining me the next time I go to Credo Beauty! This place holds the highest standards and values. I'll never go elsewhere for my skincare/cosmetic needs. Alexandra is an asset to Credo Beauty and lucky to have had my first experience there with her.

This review is for my overall experience in the store as well as for the facial. Michelle who is one of the aestheticians did my facial and it was amazing. She made me feel comfortable and truly understood my concerns. I love how she created a "game plan" with me and walked me through an effective regimen. She also gave me a dewy dumpling glow lol! And the face massage....HEAVEN. The only negative aspects to the facial were the dirty/stained sheets and towel on the treatment bed, and the noise I could hear from the back and the shopping area. When I was checking out the lovely gentleman complimented my skin, and gave me a card which would give me a free facial after my fourth one. I would definitely come back again but only if they fixed the sheets and the noise!

What a great store! The environment was so relaxed and not pushy but the staff was incredibly helpful. Got some great new products, can't wait to try!
