"Crema Coffee Roasters — which currently has locations in downtown and East Nashville — officially opens its doors on August 30 at 330 Franklin Road. The new Brentwood location — the largest of all their cafes — will offer an expanded breakfast and lunch menu featuring Crema’s signature breakfast sandwich, avocado toast, and homemade granola." - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones

Very busy coffee shop that offers small plates, baked goods and of course coffee. All of the staff are friendly and look like they enjoy their jobs. The coffee menu has a good amount of options and also has a small seasonal menu. If you like a decent sized cup or large cup of coffee you won't find that here as the largest available is only 12 oz. For people that like an assorted flavor coffee menu and larger sizes, then you will have to go elsewhere. If you just like good coffee, then Crema won't disappoint and will provide for a wonderful experience.

My family and I decided to stop here on 27 Nov 2024 to grab a few pick-me-up drinks before hitting the asphalt for a mini road trip. We were visiting Nashville from Las Vegas (LV) for Thanksgiving week and although this coffee shop was several minutes from our hotel location (by the airport), it was well worth the drive. I enjoy supporting small business coffee shops and places that are ideal hot spots for locals (not those large franchise coffee places that people tend to gravitate towards). Also, after conducting a Google search for coffee shops, this one caught my eye based on their rating/reviews, and geographical location since it was en route to our first road trip destination. The walk from the parking lot to the business can be a little nerve-racking especially for those with little kids because the parking lot itself can get congested with increased traffic flow. But unlike drivers and pedestrians in LV, the folks here in Brentwood seem to understand traffic flow a lot better. Not to mention, people here are a lot more respectful towards pedestrians (well, that's what it appeared to be while we were visiting this area). If you disagree, try spending a week or so driving in LV - but I digress. We ordered the Lutito, Peppermint Patty, and Askinosie Hot Chocolate (not pictured). (Un)fortunately, we already had a large breakfast so we didn't get the opportunity to try any of their food, but based on what I read, their menu items look/sound delicious. Each drink was magnificent; I wish we had more time in our day to sit there and drink our beverage from an actual house mug, but the flavor integrity of the latte and chocolate were not sacrificed based on our to-go cups. The prices were reasonable and definitely matched the service and drink quality. The shop's décor was nice, warm, and inviting. The staff on shift that day (~11:30 am), and especially our cashier (female), were so friendly and operated very efficiently. I wish I could've captured the name(s) to recognize them on this review, but I suspect the business can see who was on shift that day to personally thank them all. The "friendly and happy" experience was a refreshing change of pace for us coming from LV - we have a lot of coffee shops in LV but the personalities are a hit-or-miss at times. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll be sure to swing by (with my appetite) for another experience. I highly recommend this business to everyone.

Incredible coffee, got a Cuban and a iced latte. Probably the best breakfast burrito I have ever had. Check them out, they are a zero waste coffee roaster as well.

I visited here a few weeks ago to kill some time while my dad took a woodworking class nearby. I was looking for a nice cafe so I could do some schoolwork while I waited. Cream delivered! It's in a large shopping center so there's plenty of parking available. The cafe itself doesn't feel like a shopping center cafe, though -- the vibe is super refined and classy, beautiful, modern, and spacious! Lots of gentle warm light and plenty of spots to settle down. You order at the counter. They have coffee, obviously, as well as some simple meal options and pastries. My mom (who was with me) and I were able to snag a booth for two. Despite them being very busy, I think the space contained the noise well, as I was able to focus without too much trouble. Those who are super sensitive to noise may have more difficulty, though. The barista at the counter was exceedingly pleasant and helpful. I must admit that I'm a person who wants a little coffee in their dessert, rather than the other way around, and I was nervous these rather high brow coffee concoctions wouldn't be sweet enough for me. The barista suggested a beverage she thought would be a good fit and offered to make it extra sweet for me. Appreciate her help! I wound up with their version of a pumpkin spiced latte. I was morbidly curious about their coffee soda, too, so I ordered that on a whim. My drinks came out quickly. The coffee soda was a miss for me, sadly -- just a little too strange. I'm more than willing to accept that's a me problem, though. It was a very novel concept and I could see what they were going for with some of the flavor combos. Their take on a PSL was lovely, though! It honestly still wasn't super sweet, but the coffee was brewed so well and was so mellow I really didn't mind. The pumpkin was present but not overwhelming, and the whipped cream on top made it even smoother and creamier. Good stuff! Thanks for a nice hangout spot while in the area! I'd definitely return!

Google
Crema is hands down the best coffee in Nashville! This location is a bit loud without enough sound dampening especially when full and let’s be honest, it’s almost always full. Other than that I can’t recommend them enough.

Google
A cute cafe with good food and bakery options ☕️ The latter here was so good and the avocado toast was just delicious! 🤤 After reading so many reviews about this specific location, we had to come here for quick bite! 🥑

I usually try different coffee shops when I travel but I enjoyed crema so much I kept coming back all 3 days in town. Grade A. Best speciality coffee in Brentwood.

Google
☕ Crema is one of the best coffee shops. In the metro machine area. They care about the craft. This particular location is the most visually appealing location and is a delight to sit in. Coffee is always superb. Pastries are good. Avocado toast is great.

Yelp
I was craving a nice warm drink and a cozy environment and Crema only partially delivered. I found the actual layout of the shop cold and uninviting. The seating and the industrial look did not bring what I believe should embody a coffee shop- cozy and comfy vibes. The music was obnoxiously loud and that paired with the large groups of people attempting to converse with each other created an uncomfortably noisy environment even for someone who is always wearing noise cancelling headphones. Both the employee who took my order as well as the barista who handed me my coffee were not very courteous or inviting. As for the food and drinks themselves, I ordered the masala chai latte with oat milk and the spicy smoked salmon toast. The chai was delicious - perfectly spiced and full of flavor. I definitely would go back just for a to-go chai. The toast was laughably not spicy. I have the lowest spice tolerance of anyone I've ever met and I couldn't feel an ounce of heat in the roast. The arugula was also used as a bed for the toast, which I found odd. I can see how that would be more aesthetically pleasing, but made for an especially messy experience trying to put the arugula back on top of the toast. The toast itself was well done but just so messy!

Yelp
This coffee shop seems to always be hopping busy, and with good reason. The coffee is excellent, the service is great, the food is good, and they do a good job keeping the place clean and tidy. The only challenge with Crema is that it is so good that it draws quite a crowd. It is pretty common to have a line to the door waiting to order, and also somewhat common that most (or even all) of the seats are taken. But it is still worth a visit for a good coffee and more.

Yelp
Such a cute and cozy spot with delicious coffee and food! Definitely busy on a weekend morning around brunch time, but the service was efficient and we got our food in a reasonable amount of time. Ordered a drip coffee and the pesto grilled cheese, and both hit the spot! Mostly indoor seating with some outdoor, easy parking right outside. Located in a bustling shopping center.

Monica J.

Yelp
Staff is friendly and quick to help. Spacious for working / chatting with friends - plenty of seating and tables (a couple even outside if the weather is nice!). Music isn't too loud either, so you can actually enjoy yourself while there. Every latte is about $6 or so, so not the most budget friendly place, but is yummy!

Yelp
What a delight to finally have good coffee and baked goods in Brentwood! I've gotten to try this location a few times and it's actually one of my favorite locations of Crema in the Nashville area: really great ambiance and seating options for doing work or meeting up with a friend for a bite and a beverage. Incredible service (Isabella is the best!) even when it's super busy (and it's ALWAYS super busy). Very VERY clean despite how busy it is: I would have expected more chaos/unkemptness with the water glasses or tray to put away dishes, but staff really keeps up with the foot traffic here and I love that. Crema is truly one of the best when it comes to specialty lattes and the seasonal latte options are truly what I come here for: I've never had a miss with one of their seasonal options. I also absolutely LOVE that they have pastries and goodies from Dozen because sometimes I don't want to drive all the way to Wedgewood Houston for a good croissant. I have not tried the food options at this location yet but the menu is such a breath of fresh air with yummy healthier options than what's available at other breakfast/lunch places in the surrounding area. My two gripes about this place that honestly they can't control: way too many people love this place and it's always so freaking crowded (line out the door almost always when I go in.) Means it's hard to just grab and go a coffee when I want to. Also means it can get quite LOUD in here during particularly happening hours. Again, not their fault for being too popular (and helps illustrate how much Brentwood needed an actually good coffee shop), but it does prevent me from coming here sometimes when I really want to!

Mari B.

Yelp
Always love a good coffee house! Staff is nice and attentive! This place is really busy so can be hard to grab a table sometimes. Great food, decor and most importantly coffee! My only gripe is how loud it's in there. I think it's more of an acoustic issue. Would really like to hear the music they play while I have my coffee. They offer a few outdoor seating options. Highly recommend their croissants (warmed) - we had the ham & cheese and a chocolate one! Both fresh, flakey and delicious. Coffee was fantastic! Latte with almond milk was great and generous serving. Cortado was good also but a little on the burnt side.

Isabella K.

Yelp
Delicious afternoon stop - coffee, iced tea and pastries. Always fresh, flavorful and consistently excellent.

Megan F.

Yelp
Our Nashville friends love Crema, and when we're visiting we tend to stop by! This location is located in a strip mall with a lot of stores and shops nearby. I love their vanilla lattes, as they are not overly sweet or bitter, just perfect!

Jasmine C.

Yelp
Hands down THE BEST avo toast!! Only regret is not getting the soft boiled egg added to it. The avo mash had flavor, the herbs gave it a fresh taste, and the pepper flakes added the finish touch bringing a little heat to eat bite. Vanilla latte with oat milk was just as delicious. Service was prompt. The staff here are very friendly and attentive. This was a popular spot during the hustle and bustle of last minute holiday shopping.

Don W.

Yelp
Good location and plenty of parking; good coffee and pretty good menu. My only suggestion is to be aware that it's extremely crowded in mid- to late afternoon, one has to wait to grab a table - we've experienced this twice in the past several weeks. This may not be the place you want if you're looking for a relatively quiet spot to have some coffee & a snack at your leisure.

Jessica M.

Yelp
10/10 for aesthetics and coffee. So stoked on the location as we come to this center often to shop Nordstrom Rack and TJ Maxx Home Goods.

Lily S.

Yelp
I cannot think of a better addition to Brentwood than Crema! I have been giddy about this location since the moment I heard it was going in. They have made excellent use of their new space -- lots of seats, lots of outlets, strong Wifi, and good flow. The shop is fresh and bright- I imagine it'll be the perfect place to sit and be productive, but so far each time I've visited, I've bumped into lovely people & wound up chatting for the length of my lattes :) Crema's coffee always satisfies. You know how sometimes you spend $7 on a drink and then think to yourself "Ugh. I would've preferred XYZ Coffee. What a waste." ? That doesn't happen at Crema -- The coffee is smooth and rich. None of that acidic swill some establishments are slinging... Crema is better than the rest, plain and simple. I can specifically recommend the cuban & the coffee soda. I've gotten them before & I will be getting them again!

Jamie H.

Yelp
Brand new location in Brentwood. Relaxing colors of green, white and natural wood tones with is a concrete floor in an airy room it was full of life when walking in. Baristas are warm, friendly & efficient. There's obviously been a lot of work put in to open this location & it shows. After a short wait (very reasonable, given the line almost out the door), my latte with honey, cinnamon & oat milk was ready, complete with "have a great day :)" on the side. After one sip, I knew I would!

Megan M.

Yelp
First of all, I love the variety of seating spaces available! Some high-top seating with lamps if you're working or studying, or lower tables for coffee hangs. Super clean, bright, welcoming. Some outdoor tables too! Crema never fails with quality either. Their Cuban is unmatched.

Becky Y.

Yelp
I found Crema Coffee Roasters during the pandemic when I needed great coffee beans shipped to me. I had just gotten rid of my Keurig and moved to pour over and great beans were essential. Crema totally met this need plus they are sustainable and Fair Trade - check, check, check. I had not visited an in-store location until now. Coffee was excellent as expected but had not tried the food. What a lovely experience - food is excellent. I had the avocado toast - extremely well prepared. Small criticism - it is loud. Nashville seems to be obsessed with these tall ceilings and open, industrial feel. It just means the acoustics make visiting very difficult and this is a city-wide issue for so many coffee shops in Nashville. So I will continue to visit and order - Crema is worth it!

Obeese G.

Yelp
Dear Crema, I have always wanted to try you. It seems as though, almost overnight, you have gained a following. My friends can't stop talking about you; I hear your name wherever I go. Even my pastor praised you in his sermon. You intimidate me. Every time I drive by, it seems as though all of Brentwood is sitting inside, and overflowing outside. The Brentwood aristocracy lines up, scaring off my sweatpants-clad self back to Dunkin Donuts, where I belong. I have driven by all summer, but only today did I feel a rather supernatural confidence to conquer my fears. Upon entry, I felt like everyone was staring. They could tell that I was a Crema virgin. The patrons were beautiful. The restaurant was immaculate. Well-lit. Dare I say, elegant. You are too good for me. I do not deserve you. Yet, I pushed forward against my insecurities. I've heard people complain about the long line, but I found it to be a respite from this cruel world. You forced me to pause, to contemplate, to ask myself big questions. Why am I here? How much longer will I suffer? Upon getting to the front, I thought I deserved two iced coffees for my bravery and my boldness--and my pain. Yes, you are overpriced. But I am $1000 in credit card debt; what's $16 more? Thus, I left with an iced vanilla latte and and iced mocha. I had never tasted better. I conquered my fears. You are more delicious that I could have ever imagined. I am currently tweaking with caffeine. There is Crema coffee in Heaven. I feel like I could run a marathon. You've made my sad life better. I think I love you.

Gerry E.

Yelp
We were just passing through Brentwood and came across this place and loved everything about it. Food, service and ambiance were all exceptional. We came at 8am so it was busy but our orders came out in a timely manner. Will definitely come again next time we are in the area.

Jason M.

Yelp
The coffee is good. The service is not. I ordered a coffee, mocha, and tea. They gave me a number and said they would bring it out to us. 5-6 min later they called my name to come get an item. 5-6 min later they called my name again to get another item. Why did I tip if I was going to be running drinks? The tea was the wrong tea, but we decided to drink it and not complain. I waited an additional 10 min before I went to the counter to see if they forgot my third order. They told me they were out of coffee... Were they just going to let me sit there all day and wait? Why didn't they come tell me they were out and I wouldn't be getting my order? The people working there today are careless. All they had to do was tell me they were out, but they chose to ignore the issue and hope I would just leave without my order. The manager should be ashamed for not training them to do their jobs. They asked if I'd like to substitute watered down espresso instead of coffee. I declined and they kindly refunded my money. There are plenty of other coffee shops in Brentwood who don't hire careless employees.

Tori A.

Yelp
The drinks here are to die for! We tried The Lutito (their current specialty drink) and the chai latte and both were 10/10. The decor is sleek and you can tell a lot of thought went into every detail. The team is so friendly and knowledgeable and you could tell they were having fun together even though the shop was extremely busy when we came in. From an accessibility standpoint, there is a curb to step up from the parking lot but there are ramps close by and there are no stairs to get into the shop itself. There are two single stall bathrooms and both are wide enough for walkers and wheelchairs to enter easily. I believe they both have grab bars as well. All in all, I can't wait to go back and try more of their drinks and food!

Racquel S.

Yelp
Would love to see some different gluten-free pastry options. As a frequent visitor, I love the Morsel pastries, but the same 2 (coffee cake muffin & maple scone) have been offered for the last few months. Switch the wholesale order up please.

John P.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place every time I'm in Nashville I will go and visit my favorite coffee to drink is an Ethiopian or an Ethiopian single or Cortado. I'll be back. Thank you for providing service and product.

Alice L.

Yelp
Service is TERRIBLE! Staff have such an attitude. Why?? We were so looking forward to our coffee visit, very disappointed-staff being so unfriendly made the visit very unpleasant.

Jake M.

Yelp
Fantastic new addition to the Brentwood area! Crema is one of the few coffee shops in town that actually care about coffee and making sure it's delicious. All of the baristas are well trained, the resteraunt is clean and well run, and the drinks are always killer. While most coffee shops today mask they're bitter, burnt tasting espresso shots with tons of milk and sugar (while charging like it was a thoughtfully crafted drink), Crema is a breath of fresh air with genuinely tasty and nuanced espresso drinks

Lisa M.

Yelp
The coffee tasted so smooth. Super cute Vibe on the inside.. lots of little items to choose from.

Carolyn S.

Yelp
Sweet encounter with all of the staff! Though there was a bit of a wait, it was worth the delicious latte and sweet blueberry muffins!

Casey D.

Yelp
Love having a crema around the corner from me. The coffee is consistent and great. Really friendly waitstaff and overall a great atmosphere. It can be slammed during the week so don't count on being able to always find a seat--but that's why we have to go cups

Janelle S.

Yelp
The coffee is delicious and well balanced. O tried the Cuban coffee and a pastry. I love the atmosphere.

Megan S.

Yelp
Obnoxiously loud.... Maybe it's more enjoyable when there are two people in the place, but it is full today and we are yelling at each other to be heard. It's definitely not a coffee shop to work at or enjoy a peaceful atmosphere. Add

Priti S.

Yelp
Really great staff and chill atmosphere. Coffee is great and they have plenty of snack and food options.

Aida M.

Yelp
Great matcha horrible horrible service. The two ppl we encountered today made it seem like we were an inconvenience.

Phil C.

Yelp
Surprising find in a huge mall area. High quality coffee and food. (I had a cappuccino and their kale salad with chicken salad added.) Seating is not cozy, but there's lots of it. Very friendly, prompt service.

Brittan G.

Yelp
The coffee options seem extremely limited with nothing notable or stand out. Service is always pretty quick though! Their bakery case is always running low or empty no matter when I go. It is a fun place to work from but definitely not quiet by any means

Curtis B.

Yelp
Excellent iced latte. It was my first time there but I would definitely go again. Good vibes in the cafe too.

Andrew L.

Yelp
Really excited to finally get down here to check out their new location. I've been religiously going to the OG location on Hermitage Ave for almost a decade now. If I'm ever in the Brentwood area it's nice to have Crema's coffee nearby. The food from their extended menu at this location was very tasty. I think my favorite was definitely the BLT (we added Avocado to it). The coffee was great as always!

Gretchen A.

Yelp
My chai tea was delicious and beautifully presented. The GF Apple cider donut was good too. It is very expensive but that's standard for these upscale coffee places these days!

Raine L.

Yelp
Actually totally surprised by how yummy their burrito and breakfast sandwich were. We went straight to the grocery store to buy the ingredients for the breakfast sandwiches. So delish. I don't even remember the coffee because we were so surprised by the food. LOL

Gale B.

Yelp
Was kinda psyched to try this place out. It was packed on a Monday 10:30 AM. I usually go for the Americano at Sbux so I decided to go with that here to compare. 12 Oz for $3.75. You get a 16 oz. grande at Sbux for the same price. SadlyI was disappointed in the flavor as it was bitter. Any coffee drinker knows that can only mean one thing... the brewing apparatus isn't cleaned often enough. Residue bean oils turn rancid and you get bitter taste on subsequent cups. I know it's a hassle but it has to be done. If you're gonna charge premium prices you have to offer premium product. I may give them a shot earlier in the morning but this first date didn't go well for me. Service was friendly. Atmosphere is noisy for sure.

Kevin O.

Yelp
Coming from the NW I'm a coffee snob, this is a good shop if I don't go here I go to Honest Coffee in Franklin.

Ajay P.

Yelp
Good and relaxing place for great coffee. We did not try their dishes but definitely going back to try their food also.

meg p.

Yelp
Omg randomly, the yogurt parfait- amazing. Love the coffee too (of course)! Great spot to work remotely, with solid drinks and snacks

Christina B.

Yelp
I don't think you can ever have too many coffee shops. Crema is a Nashville favorite, but now located in Brentwood. Yay! Such a great spot to have a bit coffee, relax at a table with friends inside, or even sit al fresco if the weather permits. In addition to offering delicious hot or cold beverages, you can also buy bagged coffee or other coffee accoutrements. The seating area is pretty large and the inside has a warm vibe due to the honey-toned palette. My first impression of Crema started out strong but when I received the wrong drink (I ordered an iced mocha, but received a hot mocha) it slipped. No worries though... the barista immediately fixed the correct drink and I was on my way. A new coffee shop with people still learning, making a tiny mistake wouldn't affect my decision to come here again. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the Brentwood area. :)

Autumn N.

Yelp
We love coming to Crema! Their coffee is always delicious. Their vanilla latte is perfect, not too sweet! I also love that they carry dozen bakery's blueberry muffins. The staff is always friendly, and they move the line along quickly. Crema is a welcomed addition to Brentwood!

Yelp
All good!! Food tasty, friendly service and nice clean place.. Busy and very happy..!

Jim B.

Yelp
Excellent selection of coffees, all prepared with care and expertise. Very nice selection of sandwiches, salads and other dishes. fast and friendly service. reasonable prices and friendly, informal ambiance.

Eric P.

Yelp
Great neighborhood coffee shop. Very busy with a lot happening. Good service even with how busy they were.
