Google
We've tried quite a few ice cream spots along the Mississippi coast, and while there have been many great spots, this has been the best so far! Their ice cream is thick and creamy, and they offer fairly unique flavors that they rotate out seasonally. Everything we've tried so far has been delicious! I especially like the peanut butter fudge pie, and I think the other was called chocolate torte? We've also tried cookie monster, red velvet, and the cream cheese flavor, and we have yet to be disappointed in any flavor. We tried the hot fudge topping once and thought it was ok, but not great, especially in comparison to the top-notch ice cream. The ice cream definitely stands on its own and doesn't need additional toppings to be satisfying. Service has always been good here! Even on a busy Saturday evening with a long line, they are very friendly and efficient while keeping the line moving. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and the outdoor area is nice with a small swing set for kids. There is also a limited parking lot, but even if it is full, the area is pretty safe-feeling if you have to park a street or two away.

Google
What a great ice cream shop! They have classic flavors like chocolate and cookies and cream. But they also have a large selection of specially made hard ice cream flavors. We ordered cookies and cream. And lemon icebox pie. And chocolate fudge pie. Those are flavors, not actual pie. So yummy and creamy. They also have vegan options and sherbet. There is lots of seating inside and outside. Parking is shared with the coffee shop next door. Two bike racks: one in front of the coffee house and one in the back by the parking lot.

Google
Wonderful ice cream with some pretty unique flavors, as well as classics. The employees were incredibly friendly as well!

Google
Love this place for ice cream!! Great variety of flavors, but my favorite is the chocolate cheesecake amaretto! Add a crisp and fresh waffle cone? Can’t beat it! The chocolate peanut butter ice cream is very good too!

Hey look a Creole Creamery just like all the other ones we have in the New Orleans area! It seems a LOT of New Orleans area businesses are opening locations in the BSL area these days. Well Creole Creamery certainly makes some nice ice cream so it is good to know you can get it here. Lots of New Orleans folks have relocated permanently to BSL so it makes a lot of sense that some of the places they liked back in Louisiana would recognize there is a growing demand for what folks crave for a taste of their former home. Maybe there will be locations of Parkway Bakery and Mandina's opening here soon as well? Overall it is nice to see a familiar business although it would have also been nice to see a local BSL ice cream joint as well (maybe there is one I just haven't seen it before?).

Google
Thanks for being open on a Monday night when a lot of other places were closed. Perfect end to a day on the beach. Quaint little business with cool seating area adjoined to a coffee shop. Lots of standard flavors and several peculiar ones as well. The salted caramel was the bomb, and everyone else was pleased as well. Something for even big kids! The young man working the evening of 8/2 was freaking hilarious. We may stop 2-3 more times before we head home.

Google
Some of the best ice cream I've ever had! Such good and unique flavors! I recommend LA Vie en Rose and Petit Four flavors! But there were so many good ones it was hard to choose.

Google
Absolutely the creamiest ice cream! Excellent customer service. Beautiful water fountain garden to enjoy your treat! A must stop for a sweet treat!

Yelp
the most amazing experience ever almost a year later since we've been and i'm still dreaming about it! The lady running the place, sweetest human to ever grace this earth. Also that ice cream absolutely delicious. I'm genuinely drooling thinking about it. I highly recommend this place 10 out of 10!

Yelp
If you are visiting in the Bay, this is a great place to stop. The staff are usually super nice (never had a bad experience) and it's better than the snowball stand down the road. Their ice cream is all homemade as far as I can tell and the variety is substantial. This place doesn't serve Hersheys or Blue Bell, it's real ice cream. On a Friday night it's easily packed to the brim so be prepared to wait. Pricing is a bit on the expensive side but after all, it's pretty high quality ice cream. It's right by all the shops and has a peaceful outdoor seating area where kids can play and is animal friendly (I've even seen a cat that hangs around there). It's right next to PJ's coffee so you can get something there and get your kids ice cream next door. As a self declared ice cream connoisseur I would recommend this to anyone in the area who loves ice cream and isn't in front of me in line.

Yelp
Delicious ice creams with a huge variety! A must if you are in the area. They are dense and creamy with a lot of flavor.

Yelp
LOVE!! Got the nectar and blackberry lavender flavors and it was soooo yummy. We loved our time here. Service was quick and kind, even with a line out the door. Love the environment, felt so homey and family oriented. Will be back again!!

Yelp
paying extra for the toppings is 100% worth it i love this place! they always have a positive attitude and the chalk board they have is always decorated to fit the seasons/holiday! i love itt

Yelp
My fiancé and I just moved to the bay. We decided to try this ice cream place on 1/26. The experience was terrible. Not to be peculiar over a milkshake- but it tasted like milk. The customer service was rude. When asking a question, the response was "what". When my fiancé ordered his milkshake, they proceeded to assume we'd both want a milkshake to which I responded id like a banana split. They then informed there was no bananas! Which was okay, so when picking what i'd like instead the girl responded " so it was two milkshakes, gotcha".. I don't think i've ever been somewhere outside of mcdonald's that has been that rude tbh. I definitely don't recommend, and doubt i'd ever go back. Pjs frozen hot chocolate is a better recommendation for a milkshake than Creole creamery.
google avatar

Danelle B.

Yelp
Too many choices and originals. The bananas foster was fabulous. The servings are plentiful and not going to break the bank.

Yelp
Happy to see that this New Orleans classic has expanded to Bay St Louis! Creole Creamery will forever be my fave. Truly some of the best quality and flavors out there. Also, this Bay St Louis location is so cute and quaint! Perfect for hanging out at on a beautiful sunny day or just for when you need a quick pick-me-up. Great vibes & perfect ice cream. The best combo!
google avatar

Linda R.

Yelp
Delicious is the best description I can best describe this place. Many choices of ways to eat any of the many flavors being offered. Cute, quaint little shop especially when you need a break from the hot shopping and the grueling heat. Definitely worth stopping in.

Overall it is nice to see a familiar business although it would have also been nice to see a local BSL ice cream joint that makes their own ice cream as well (maybe there is one I just haven't seen it before?).

Yelp
I had a scoop of butter pecan and a scoop of salted caramel. Both were good My husband had chocolate chip he said it was yummy. If I came back to the area I'd try it again
google avatar

Yelp
Lemongrass coconut ice cream has to be one of the best things I've ever eaten. Love that this Nola institution has an outpost in Bay St Louis. We came by on a quiet afternoon and there was a steady stream but not that busy. Lots of indoor and outdoor tables, the patio is especially nice on a warm day. So many different flavors, from sorbet to classics or lesser known flavors. Staff were knowledgeable and helpful.

Yelp
Oh wow! I live out of state now but wanted to surprise an elderly friend who lives in Waveland. She wanted, more than anything, a "real" banana split for her birthday. She hadn't had one in 20+ years. I arranged with a friend to deliver it to her and she was in bliss! Said the ice cream was the best she had ever tasted and the banana was at ripeness perfection. She said her neighbors are now clamoring for one too. Well done Creole Creamery! You're probably going to have a taxi load of little old ladies coming in for banana splits soon! And when I'm in the area again, you can count on me too. Thank you so very much! Your dedication to your craft and customers shows through.

Yelp
The cutest neighborhood ice cream parlor with the tastiest ice cream with very affordable prices. We enjoyed our ice cream and service was fast and friendly.

Yelp
I got the 4 mini scoop sampler because so many of the flavors sounded great and I couldn't pick. I did the cake, petit four, salted caramel and chocolate amaretto. They were amazing!! It was $8. Well worth it. The girl that took my order was talking to coworkers the whole time and never looked me in the eye so that was a little annoying, but they had four workers behind the bar busy doing things. The building is small and so it was loud inside, but they have an outdoor area!

Emily Cade K.

Yelp
I went to get ice cream tonight and per usual, I didn't know what flavor I wanted so I decided I wanted to sample a few. I sampled two flavors and each time I asked to sample she looked at me so rude. I decided to kill her with kindness. when I got done ordering and she gave me my ice cream, I said thank you and she yelled back in my face. YOUR WELCOME. I was in there on Saturday, December 28 at 9:40PM. I am very disturbed I won't be going back. be better.

Dallas F.

Yelp
We came here wanting some good homemade ice cream. We walked in and it's a small, clean area with places to sit. 2 teenagers behind the counter, not 1 of them acknowledge any of us. We started to peruse the flavors and stood there waiting for someone to say or ask us anything. The kid with the red fro seemed annoyed we were there and the gal just kept watching as people piled in. We Asked to try a couple flavors, got our ice creams and we were on our merry way. The ice cream was good and they had unique flavors but won't be back due to the lack of customer service. The experience was very disappointing.

Yelp
Whenever I think about Ice cream, I think of creole creamery. My friend and I LOVE IT. It's our go-to place. Right when you walk in, it smells sweet. There's a big variety of flavors and the consistency of the ice cream is creamy and perfect. You can get milkshakes too. The outdoor patio is especially nice to sit on when there's good weather. My go/to flavor is cotton candy. I know, just call me a kid now and get it over with.

Yelp
We have been coming to Creole Creamery for over a year now. It's a destination spot for our family, friends, & pups! We love the pet friendly connecting porch between the Creamery & PJ's coffee (same owner). There is truly something for everyone that we bring here. As many reviews stated about 3 months ago we did also experience some hiccups in portion sizes & hospitality at the Creamery. But this summer we noticed that there were some pleasant changes & improvements related to this. So if you were feeling discouraged by the staff or portion sizes in the recent past I encourage you to revisit. The owner has frequently been there when we have visited this summer (weekly throughout the summer). Sometimes he is there until closing, personally making sure that customers are satisfied, and that things are well managed & clean. He also has a lot of great jokes for our kiddos. I highly recommend it & the cheesecake red velvet is simply divine, and I don't typically like red velvet! Many Blessings y'all!

Yelp
Stopped here when we were exploring Bay St Louis and I'm glad we did. Excellent ice cream store with different flavors. Ice cream were very creamy and the taste was on point . We had the La Vie en Rose', creole cream cheese, lavender honey and the classic milk chocolate. Staff was very helpful and they also have a rewards program will definitely come back. They have a parking next to the building.

Yelp
Every flavor you can think of!!! This is a fantastic little ice cream shop. There is always a line out the door, and now I know why!!! Their ice cream really is creamy and smooth and full of flavor. There are benches and tables outside as well as a few tables inside.
google avatar

Lindsey B.

Yelp
The best ice cream around!! The flavors are rich and unique-- we had a golden summer fig that was incredible. There's something for everyone to enjoy and this location in downtown BSL is a great reprieve from the beach heat.
google avatar

Paul L.

Yelp
Great ice cream and soda shop. Large selection of delicious ice cream and milkshakes. Seating available inside and the outside patio. Parking is located behind the building. Definitely worth a try.
google avatar

John L. H.

Yelp
Oh hell yes. I begin my review that way since that is the phrase I uttered upon seeing a Creole Creamery in downtown BSL. BSL is a pretty amazing place, but this addition sure makes it even better. For those of you who have spent any time in New Orleans, you have probably heard of Creole Creamery. Now imagine a location with an almost zero percent chance you will get towed for accidentally parking in the wrong spot. I'd call that a major improvement. For those of you not in the Nola know, Creole Creamery is a premier ice cream shop. I'm no expert on ice cream, but whatever they do when they make theirs, makes it better. Maybe it's more sugar, maybe it's more milk fat, maybe it's just the cool names, but it is delicious. Don't expect 31 flavors or some such nonsense. Expect decadent ice cream that will satisfy any sweet tooth. So far I have been here two or three times. I was actually able to resist buying myself some on the first visit. The second I couldn't resist and got their brownie brittle flavor. Oh. My. Goodness. It was pure awesomeness. I normally end up at froyo places because my kids love that stuff. I have a string feeling that their froyo days are over now that we found this place. PS There is a PJ's coffee next door.

Yelp
A staple in New Orleans, Creole Creamery has expanded to the Gulf Coast. I had wondered whether this outlet in the sleepy town of Bay St Louis would be smaller and less impressive than their city locations, but in fact, this was a very nice shop. It probably had fewer flavor options than I'd get in Uptown, but it was still well into double digits. They had several variations of chocolate, which is characteristic (I recommend the bittersweet). Unlike in New Orleans, they take card payments. This location shares outside seating with the local PJ's and is only a couple of blocks from the waterside. The ice cream is excellent. Their waffle cones aren't freshly made, but are still good enough to be worth it. Creole Creamery hasn't yet gotten into the dairy-free trend that many other premium scoop shops have, but for traditional ice cream, it's a winner.
google avatar

Cave J.

Yelp
The ice cream is always crazy good. Service was pretty good Benjamin provided excellent service and was knowledgeable about the ice creams available
google avatar

Danielle P.

Yelp
Creole Creamery is one of the best ice cream shops I have ever experienced. I recommend getting the sampler, so you can try more fun flavors. I enjoy that some flavors are rotated. I tried the following flavors on this visit: Chocolate Amaretto Cheesecake- the chocolate overpowered with very little amaretto or cheesecake Honey Lavender- MY FAVORITE! I love lavender flavor. Cotton Candy- It tastes just like the carnival treat. Melon Sorbet- Melt in your mouth yumminess. It reminds me of Melon Gelato in Italy. Christmas Cookie- Tastes just like a spicy cookie, so good! Birthday Cake & Animal Cookie- Very similar and delicious Clean dining room and restrooms. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Yelp
This place is such a nice spot to grab a ice cream and enjoy it outside on a nice day! The selection is wonderful the scoops are full and the staff are always friendly. My husband loves the salted caramel and I love trying the new flavors! Recently tried the pumpkin and some kind of oatmeal that had raisins in it also, was wonderful! The decision of what flavor to have is the hardest part of going here.

T L.

Yelp
Wonderful ice cream, but manager PLEASE train your employees! We were in your shop at 8:30 pm and your teen workers rolled their eyes and looked disgusted each time the door opened with new customers. I heard them say that they may need to cut off samples to get the line served. They turned away 3 customers at 8:45 pm because they could not use the shake machine and have time to clean it. Those customers left when they were told that with 15 minutes before closing. What are they going to do when the summer heat begins and the shop is completely full of customers! I know that good help is hard to fine, but those young people were ridiculous! I want to add that the one teen who turned away the 3 customers spent the rest of her time on her cell phone as she ate ice cream! She certainly did not spend the time cleaning the shake machine, because we were there until closing!
google avatar

Erin L.

Yelp
The ice cream was good but some employees aren't the nicest all there different flavors are great
google avatar

Donns W.

Yelp
The best salted caramel ice cream every! I'm still craving it! Staff was very nice and the place was clean!
google avatar

T C.

Yelp
I am the pint slayer, i have slayed more pints than most people could ever dream of, the best service i've encountered is from the man named Benjamin. A true ice cream barista and in my opinion he has the best scooping abilities on the Gulf Coast plus he has a great attitude about his job. Give that man a raise!
google avatar

Angela G.

Yelp
Almost $20 for 2 ice cream waffle cones is ridiculous and there was nothing special about their ice cream. I won't be back there. They need to charge a fair price for a fair product.
google avatar

Benjamin M.

Yelp
I believe I've eaten at a Creole Creamery in NOLA before and this was just as delicious. The young fellas at the counter were a delight- they explained the various flavors and ingredients to us and even caught a person trying to sneak out without paying while we were in line...it was kind of righteous. Great place for a frozen treat anytime of day!
google avatar

Susan M.

Yelp
We go to Creole's every chance we get. I gain 20 pounds just walking in lol. Everything there is delicious! Would definitely recommend them!
google avatar

Jennifer C.

Yelp
If you are looking for mouth watering cream, look no further. This summery atmosphere will have you getting scoop after scoop! With Flavors (seasonal) such as Cucumber Sorbet, Blackberry Pop Pie and Creole Cream Cheese you won't be able to resist and a 4 scoop Sample platter was less than $7. I was in shock.
google avatar

Donna S.

Yelp
The ice cream is so good at Creole Creamery. A cute little shop in Old Town Bay St. Louis. It's a must try!! Get the cookie monster . . It was delicious.
google avatar

Daniel W.

Yelp
Dropped in Friday. Pretty busy inside but line moved. We both got waffle comes, single scoop. I had the lemon something and it was very citrusy and good. Key lime pie-esque. She had the lavender honey and said it was the best ice cream she's ever had. Now that's big praise!

Breia B.

Yelp
I normally love creole creamery. But I'm not going to lie this was one of the filthiest ones I've been too. My boyfriends ice creams has a long hair in it and my satsuma sobert had black specks in it no idea what that was. Very disappointing
google avatar

Annie H.

Yelp
Yummy! We came upon this place while walking Main Street. It's in a cute little house building. They have multiple flavors of ice cream to choose from. You can get cones, shakes, sundaes or a signature dish. I went with the Cookie Monster sundae which was cookie ice cream with hot fudge and caramel with a wafer. It was so delicious! They have patio seating too. It was a pleasant atmosphere with a friendly worker.
google avatar

Sarah W.

Yelp
We always do at least one ice cream shop when we are on vacation. We decided to get the sampler so we could try four different t kinds. My favorite was the salted caramel and honey lavender. Wasn't sure if I would like the honey lavender but it was soooo good. This was great ice-cream at a reasonable price. Try this place out!
google avatar

Amy M.

Yelp
Delicious treat in Bay St. Louis!! We have been a few times and great service each time and love the unique and delicious flavors. They have sugar free and dairy free options too! I loved the lavender honey and golden milk!
google avatar

Jeremy B.

Yelp
You aren't going to find better ice cream. So many unique flavors and they are always changing. I get the 4 sampler because I can't just choice one flavor. The staple that everybody should try is the Creole Cream Cheese, but I tried a flavor that I didn't like so far. I'm picky about ice cream, but the ice cream at Creole Creamery is top-notch
google avatar

Johna H.

Yelp
Amazing ice cream. Extremely long lines in summer months but worth the wait. Try the cream cheese!
google avatar

Courtney B.

Yelp
The service was great and the ice cream was even better! The baby cone is the perfect size to enjoy while walking or golf carting around BSL!
google avatar

Tim W.

Yelp
This is some of the best high quality ice cream that I've found in the south and that's saying something! I worked in Ice Cream manufacturing for several years and I'm a bit of a ice cream snob. The flavors are unique and very creamy, not like that airy crap you get at other places.
google avatar

Tamara C.

Yelp
They have so many unique seasonal and specialty flavors, as well as the standard flavors. I tried the smoky chocolate salted caramel and it was amazing! They had indoor seating but also lots of outdoor seating as well.
google avatar

Sarah W.

Yelp
Lovely place in bay St. Louis! Was so surprised to see creole here after enjoying the locations in New Orleans for so long. The selection isn't as large as the New Orleans locations but the flavors and textures are still scrumptious! My friends and I tried the blueberry monitor, black and gold crunch, salted caramel, and petit four and all were amazing! Highly recommend a stop here if you are passing by bay St. Louis or stopping for a short day beach trip. There are also a couple cute antique shops nearby to explore if you're into antiquing.

Keith L.

Yelp
This place has the best ice cream around. Try the chocolate raspberry cheesecake. I could live on that alone!
