Google
The places feels both cozy and elegant. An amazing and diverse selection of teas and ways to order tea. The lattes added a bit of unexpected whimsy! The portions were very satisfying. I was particularly pleased with the beet pancake of my flight of pancakes. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Google
After seeing the reviews, we decided to stop here for coffee and dessert while in the area. The experience was a disappointment for a coffee/tea enthusiast. We ordered the Costa Rica coffee and the English Breakfast tea. Both tasted like warm flavored water. Desserts were slightly better. Tiramisu didn't taste like tiramisu at all, but still was edible. Crepe was cold. If you have had fresh crepes off the pan, this does not hit the spot. Would not come here again.

Google
Stopped in for a nice quick tea (great selection!). I saw other reviewers mention borscht, so I was hoping for other Eastern European food. Bingo! I got the salmon and potato vareniki, and they were delicious! Great lunch stop. They also have khachapuri! Everyone was very kind and friendly as well.

Google
We love Crepes Tea House! Their menu is extensive, and everything on it is amazing. I generally go for a large strawberry and nutella crepe so I can eat half there and enjoy the leftovers later. The service is great, atmosphere is lovely (a lot clearly went into the details) and the food is FRESH, presentation is always on point! 👌🏻

Google
This is an oasis in the desert of diners and dives, which plaster the landscape for the famished and undernourished. Brunch was simply delicious. The atmosphere was calm, tranquil, and pleasing. The servers were attentive and friendly. The prices were comparable to the generous portions. The flavors were full bodies yet delicate to the pallet. 5 stars

Google
Found this gem of a spot after driving an hour to go to ihop and they were closed. We needed somewhere to go late night that also had gluten free vegetarian options. I didn’t expect much BUTTTT this place is so good!! They have a specific page for gluten free/vegan for one!! But also, it’s so cute, they have amazing food and GIANT PORTIONS. Tea is amazing. Everything was great, atmosphere is great, service is Great. Will definitely come here often!! They also have tables with little couches to lounge!

Google
First time here and the food came out fast under 25 minutes. The meat seemed a little dry but it was good . The pancakes were great

Google
Large portions, extensive breakfast menu. The place is cozy and maybe a little eclectic but totally vibing. Located on a quite street a walking distance from Victory international market which is always a plus for me personally. Staff was friendly and welcoming. I would certainly recommend

Yelp
Updated my review because I didn't realize it had been almost 12 years since my initial review! My family and I come here every single time I'm in town. They have a lot of delicious menu offerings but our most favorite thing from their menu is, believe it or not, their fresh made bagels. Yes, they make their bagels fresh in house. How many places do you know do that? As a matter of fact, most things are made from scratch here. If you're a fan of hashbrowns/potato pancakes they make them here from scratch and they're insane with that yogurt sauce on the side. Both their sweet and savory crepes are amazing. Even if you order the small one, you'll still have enough to take home they're so huge. Another thing you'll notice is that like half the menu is their tea offerings so if you're a fan of specialty teas, they've got you. Even if you're not, their coffee specials are really good. I had one called the vanilla bee lattee that was amazing. One thing I will say, because this place is so popular, you're probably going to be waiting a while whether it's for a seat, or for the wait staff to come to you, it's just a reality when you come here, but to me personally, it's worth it.

Yelp
So comfortable -- I could sit and sip my tea here for hours! We visited midday on a Friday and ordered two cups of tea, a large crepe, and the avocado toasts. We were extremely comfortable sitting on the couch, and really enjoyed the decor. The longer we sat, the more details we noticed. For example, the light fixtures are in the shape of teapots, and so are the legs of the couches! The owners clearly put a lot of love and time into the design of this tea house. The food was yummy and the crepe was huge. It was also very fun to try new tea without the pressure of purchasing an entire box. We ordered two cups of tea. A Cafe spiced Chai with hot milk, and berries and cream red tea. We customized the large sweet crepe with puffy cream cheese, honey, peaches, strawberries, and bananas. We also ordered the grape tomatoes and goat cheese avocado toasts. Everything was delicious. The tea came out very quickly, and the presentation was gorgeous. The servers were all very knowledgeable and courteous. Overall, we had an extremely relaxing meal and did not feel rushed to leave. We loved it! Will be back!

Yelp
Actually wasn't excited to go because I was really hungry and crepes didn't seem to fill the bill. My friend assured be it was good. I was not disappointed! First off I geek out on fermented foods and this place had homemade Kavass! I know that it's probably just me but it really got me excited. We all ate and left satisfied. Staff was great the bathroom was clean and I'd definitely go back.

Yelp
I'm not a breakfast person, but this is the place to go for breakfast for me. Love the cross between Ukrainian and Jewish food. The potato pancakes and the borscht are amazing. Big servings of lots of different kinds of tea and the crêpes are good as well. Huge menu with lots of yummy and some unusual offerings. Great service and good ambience in both restaurants.

Yelp
Nice service, large portions, good polish fare and a great tea house As a coffee guy, never really got into tea. Girlfriend loves tea though, and usually I'm the one slogging her to heavy sweet treat breakfast spots. So when we found a tea house not too far from home, we had to make the trek. Parking is a little difficult for this niche little location. They have a parking lot but not a lot of spaces. You'll have to find a decent place on the street to park if you want to partake in this location. But the space is well decorated. Little dark, but plenty of couch seats and tables. Server was very nice, but had difficulty translating the menu for us. We ended up over ordering but that's okay in certain situations. I got a beef stuffed pancake and a sweet crepe with farmers cheese and honey. Food came out quickly along with tea, and we dug in. The portions were very large. We got two small crepes and were presented with burrito sized monoliths of crepe. The size was impressive, and the quality was also good as well. The ingredients in each were properly prepared, seasoned, cooked and presented. The farmers cheese was not overly gritty though I was expecting a little more salt. The honey was nice and sweet, and the whipped cream was freshly whipped. The stuffed pancake was a potato pancake. Which worked well enough with the beef. I feel like a pierogi from these guys would be stellar. The tea, well I don't really do tea so much. I have preferences, and the royal red robe is about as close as I get to my preference. It was mild, not very grassy. With light honey the mid flowery notes are more pronounced. And the color is a rich red. It's good, but it's very much tea. If you're looking for a plethora of teas, or really solid polish fare, this place is a go-to. Their quality and portions are great, and their teas are freshly seeped and prepared well. I'm not converted to tea just yet, but the food is good and they have coffee if you really want coffee. If you don't mind the parking situation, there's a lot to like

Yelp
This place was super cute inside, small but there was a good amount of space between tables and booths. The menu is HUGE but it's nicely organized and it has really cute "did you know" facts about the types of food they serve. We had breakfast, the hash browns reminded me of latkes, and the crepes were really interesting - I had only ever had a savory crepe dish before. We also ordered the avocado toast - it was okay, but the bread wasn't really toasted or crunchy at all it just reminded me of a baguette so I would probably skip that next time. But the New England latte was delicious! Our service was decent, our second server was great but it took a long time for us to have anyone come over and ask about drinks and then again for them to come over and take our actual order. Aside from that this place was great, would definitely go again Oh also, half of the restaurant is almost bookish themed! The tables have tea pots for legs and they have books on the walls. Tried to take a picture without being a creep but it didn't turn out the best

J C.

Yelp
The food is good. Ambiance is really nice with a wood stove. The service is good, although when they are busy expect slower service. The prices are a little high for the amount of food you get. It's very tasty though and unique offerings.

Yelp
During our lunch visit on a summer Friday, the restaurant wasn't busy. Although we dined outdoors, the presence of flies buzzing around our food was a minor distraction. Nevertheless, the exceptional service and cuisine made our experience truly enjoyable. Our meal was remarkably fresh and served on time. Before visiting a museum, we treated ourselves to gluten-free, soy-free, dairy-free crepes and organic teas. The beet soup was delicious. In our opinion, this restaurant offers the best crepes and serves the most delicious crepes we have ever had. We would highly recommend a return visit and suggest that anyone in the Springfield, MA area give this place a try.

Yelp
The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is friendly. The food is average, but the option to bring your own bottle is a nice touch since they don't serve alcohol.

Yelp
A diamond in the rough is an understatement. The surrounding area obscures this little oasis. I couldn't be happier with the food and service. After eating the greatest breakfast ever, I can honestly still taste the mastery of flavors. Those who visit please take the time to look at all the fine details of the walls, chairs, and light fixtures.

Yelp
Very adorable and relax place. The tea was good and the food was delicious. Open late till 11pm. My type of tea house and also that it opens late makes it equally appealing. Only lost 1 star because food prices are a little expensive.

Yelp
Nice vibe. Good food and drinks. Very refreshing and unique menu. Pro waiters. Very interesting eastern Europe food.

Yelp
This place is a powerhouse for breakfast/brunch items, but also delivers amazing lunches and late-night dinners! Even their French fries are unique and so flavorful!
google avatar

Tulsi M.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. It has cute and cozy vibes with the teahouse theme throughout. The name says it all when it comes to what they serve, there is a book of teas to choose from and delicious fresh crepes as well as other savory foods.
google avatar

Zaily M.

Yelp
Super cute, clean, and fast service. I loved the selection, and the fresh flavors in both the drinks and food. Definitely recommend

Yelp
What a cute place with the best tea selection I've ever encountered and an amazing menu. I wanted to order so many things! From the tea themed lights to the cozy couches, it was very welcoming. My daughter ordered a hot chocolate that was as beautiful as it was delicious. I tried the sampler teas- and got three pots- Mountain Kenya was my favorite! As for food, I tried the breakfast crepe with veggies and a side order of potatoes- both were delicious, the condiments were amazing, and there was enough extra to bring home. My daughter ordered a sweet crepe and a build your own breakfast. She also had extra. Our server was kind and attentive. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
What a hidden gem. Small friendly place with a great selection of teas and also food. Ella was my server. Very personable and professional and helpful with the menu

Angelise C.

Yelp
Oh my gosh this was amazing! The girls and boys here were so nice sweet and amazing. I had a crepe and oh my gosh it was delicious. I'll have to make this a monthly thing I even took some home and the surrounding looked so pretty and nice

Yelp
Breakfast was amazing and fresh squeezed juices superb. A treat for anyone visiting. Thank you

Yelp
We love this tea house and its sister in Southwick, MA. This time we were just getting coffees. I don't think I've ever experienced such tender, loving coffee service anywhere before Darina's caring attention to our order today. Too bad they don't sell bulk here, but if you're ever in West Springfield and haven't discovered this place, you're in for a treat.
google avatar

Keriann C.

Yelp
Came here for an outing with the Red Hat Society. The place was busy for breakfast but our food still came out pretty quick especially given the big order. I have a nut allergy and they were very considerate of that as well. The vibe is nice, I didn't think there was anything super special about it other than from the outside you wouldn't expect it to be a restaurant, especially given its location. Will gladly come here again someday!

Coffee R.

Yelp
Wow! The food was amazing. It was one of the best lunches i had in a long time. The food looks great and tastes even better. Highly recommend, very interesting, and diversified menu .

Yelp
A diamond in the rough. My sister lives locally & knew about this place & what a find in a neighborhood you'd never expect to find a place like this. The venue is very unique, eclectic is how I'd describe it. The staff was great, our server was really good. Very attentive & personable. It was Sunday brunch time & we were able to get a table for 6 in about 15 minutes. It is a little strange that they ask to wait outside while you're waiting but it's because the area where you'd wait is right in front of the door where the food comes out. It's not a huge place. Now for the star of the show, the food. It was delicious. We had crepes, omelettes, eggs & bacon & it was all delicious! And the tea menu is 6pages of their menu. You name it & the have it. Although one in our party had coffee & they weren't impressed with it. Give this place a try, you'd be glad you did!

Jenna W.

Yelp
Crepes were delicious and huge portions! Tea was delicious as well! Service was quick and waitresses were super nice. Very expensive but worth it!
google avatar

Oanh H.

Yelp
Cute tea house with a variety of breakfast to dinner menu. The teas menu has a breakdown of flavor profiles so it was very helpful for those who are not familiar with what to order. The walnut cake was a little too dense for me but the crepe had whole pieces of blackberries with lots of strawberry jam. The table was not well cleaned. There were still sticky spots on the table. Our waiter was wonderful and gave us plenty of time to decide.

D T.

Yelp
Wanted to give it a couple of visits before reviewing...4 stars for tea & selection. You can get your milk frothed, which is nice. For coffee ppl, they have a single freshly brewed machine which gives a good cup. Now for the 2 stars...every time we went the wait to be served was noticeably long. They seem to have a lot of staff around but only 1-2 ppl actually able to take orders. It was very irritating actually. I'd suggest you order everything at once; otherwise, be prepared to hang tight. One time we didn't order right away and it was a while after getting our beverages before the waitress came back. Crepes were good, B grade. Potatoes were greasy--we used a napkin to soak up the extra grease, so a C- grade there. Eggs didn't taste like other places--maybe it's the griddle, B grade. Finally the toast...we tried their rye & sourdough--just OK--maybe a C grade. Sourdough tasted like plain bread. Inside is bright and doesn't feel crowded, staff are friendly. So it's a definite try, but for us, we gave it a few and wouldn't go back. Wish that area had more breakfast options.

Robert S.

Yelp
If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. We sat on the couches for breakfast. Wifey and I had savory crepes that were excellent. The boys had pancakes and bacon. Everyone loved their food, so flavorful. The tea selection was amazing. Our little one loves chai tea and we had to buy some to go for him. The staff was friendly, and the vibe and decor was so cool. The boys already begged us to go back tomorrow for our last day in town. I see why it's so busy, loved every minute of it.

Yelp
10/10, I drove from Boston (1.5hr drive) for this food. I ordered an egg and cheese on an everything bagel with turkey. This was the best egg and cheese I've had in MA. My mouths watering thinking about this again. The hashbrowns were so crisp and yummy, paired with the egg and cheese bagel were the best. After all that, some sweets from the crepe brought it all together. We loaded the crepe up with fillings and fruit. The ambiance was a homey styled diner. Great friendly staff and overall experience. Prices were very reasonable. The garnish and seasoning on these dishes were top tier. Will be driving across the state for these again very soon - highly recommend even if you don't live nearby!!

Migdalia R.

Yelp
This restaurant is good overall. I have been there around five times, and depending on your waitress, you'll have a good or not very pleasant experience. The food is pretty good, but pricey.

Irene S.

Yelp
Husband and I thought we would try something different. We were not impressed by the industrial neighborhood but the place was very clean and adorable. The menu was extensive, especially in teas and it had excellent coffee. I wish I had taken a picture of the breakfast crepe before we dug into it because it was as huge as a log! They do offer a smaller size. It was delicious with your choice of fillings. We had also ordered the bagels which they make there and are very soft and airy. We had the vegetable cream cheese spread. When it came time for the dessert crepe, we ordered one large one and split it. It was just right and delicious. The fresh fruit and cream cheese makes my mouth water now just thinking about it. We had the coffee and refills were plentiful. Next time we will come with a cousin who is versed in teas and try those. Before I forget, the service was also very good. There were no complaints and we will be back.

Yelp
Amazing food, coffee and service. The food options are endless and creative. Loved the sweet farmers cheese pancakes. Just out of this world!!!
google avatar

Tanya R.

Yelp
First time for me & my family...it was a cozy place, food was great, large portions. Our server Elina was great & her recommendations were on point. Will definitely come back again.
google avatar

Amber D.

Yelp
The food was really good, but the menu was really confusing TBH. We didn't realize the portion sizes were so huge based on the menu and ordered way too much food. My one gripe is that the juice, although fresh, was super expensive for how much I got.
google avatar

Brian H.

Yelp
Came to the tea house today for a late lunch. As usual it was pretty busy; always a good sign. We ordered the pot of citrus black tea with honey to start. For entrees she had the create your own platter with a fruit filled crepe, scrambled eggs, hash prowls, and toast. I had the omelet with ham, cheese, and green bell peppers and a side of country potatoes. Everything was cooked to order, fresh, and amazing. The ambiance here reminds me of something you'd see in Europe. It's clean, well decorated, and sort of eclectic. It's a great place to hang out and have a pot or cup of tea, enjoy some fresh food, and relax. I can see why this spot is always slammed with people trying to get in, it's definitely one of the best in Springfield.

Les M.

Yelp
Awesome place that we discovered one night while visiting in the area! We enjoyed the ambiance and atmosphere he friendly service!

Timothy F.

Yelp
A little customer service a friendly greeting from the staff would've been nice ESPECIALLY when there were salesmen standing around joking with one another maybe they thought I was THERE TO WASTE TIME.

Yelp
My friend and I stopped by here for lunch on our way to the museums nearby. The tea menu was quite extensive and was separated by type: oolong, black, white, green, herbal and red. The all of the teas were organic and sourced from the local tea company in North Camden. The teas varied in price from $3.60-10.95 per cup. You can also get the tea in a pot or a samovar (a Russian device for making concentrated tea and heating water to dilute the tea to your liking). The tea flight was the best deal where you get a pot of any 3 teas from the menu for $15. The pots were a good size holding about 3-4 cups in each, so it is a good option for a group or a very thirsty individual. I tried the Phoenix Mountain which was a full bodied oolong with notes of honey, spice and exotic fruits. It definitely was a unique oolong that had a pleasant spicy finish. It was good alone or with a touch of honey. My second choice was the melon pear white tea that captured the best notes of a Bartlett pear and honeydew melon. It was my favorite. My final selection was Rainforest Mint that was a Yerba mate infuse with mint. It was a refreshing burst of mint with a earthy undertone. Savory crepes were fully customizable where you choose a protein, sauce and can add as many vegetables as you want. Surprisingly there was no extra charge for avocado, but there was an extra charge for mushrooms. I opted for a large crepe filled with spicy chicken, asparagus, spinach, avocado, and carrots with a side of white mushrooms sauce. The crepe resembled a sizable burrito when it arrived. The spicy chicken was well seasoned and had a respectable heat level. It worked well with all of my vegetable selections. The white mushroom sauce was a garlic cream of mushroom sauce that was a welcome addition. Crepe was thin, but strong enough to hold everything. Definitely will be returning to try out more teas and some Ukrainian offerings.

Yelp
I probably wouldn't recommend their bennys but their crepes are delicious!! The only thing I have noticed with their fruit is it's hard and not fully ripe. That is my only complaint. They have a wide variety of teas but they could make the tea a bit stronger by adding more to the bag.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a true gem in the Springfield area. The eastern European dishes are terrific. We loved the Pelmeni Dumplings ... the pasta was light and the chicken stuffing so flavorful. Our favorite was the Khachapuri. It's literally one of the tastiest breads I've ever had, truly outstandingly delicious. You can taste the scallions and the cheese filling was light and fluffy. We split a sweet dessert crepe stuffed with cheese and chocolate. We ate every bit and loved the dessert. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in Springfield. The service was good. A nice sweet young woman took care of us. The ambiance is also nice but it's the food that shines!

Kate F.

Yelp
This is my 3rd time here and although the food is great, they have repeatedly taken forever to acknowledge me once seated and service is horrificly slow. We got seated relatively quickly. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt but after my 3rd visit, again, we've been waiting almost 30 minutes to even order our food. I saw one server on her phone while we were waiting. When I ask for something they seemed totally inconvenienced and in a rush the entire time. Love the food but service needs help. Update: I found a piece of plastic in my crepe when I started eating my leftovers this morning. And no, I have no reason to make this stuff up. Bad service needs to be called out.

Jim L.

Yelp
Great time at Crepes Tea House. The family had some crepes, eggs, bacon, hash browns and tea. Everything was delicious. Best hash browns we've had anywhere; crispy and seasoned with red pepper which gave them a nice kick. Everything was fresh. We each had different fruit and fillings in our crepes and each was fantastic. The service was also great. Everyone was friendly and happy to answer questions. The food came out quickly. No wonder this place has such good reviews; it lived up the high rating. We're so glad we went.
google avatar

Mindy C.

Yelp
This place was amazing! The little tea pot lights gave the place so much character! Portions were generous and staff was helpful and friendly. Food tasted fresh. If we are ever back in Massachusetts again we will be returning! Highly recommend

Yelp
Crepes Tea House changed my life. I had never had loose leaf tea. Got a hot cup of Cranberry Harvest tea. It blew my mind. I now exclusively drink loose leaf tea at home. It's a game changer. Crepes is a soothing, warm environment with sunset colored walls. We didn't order food because we were waiting for a take-out Indian food order but I loved everything we experienced at Crepes. If you're in Western Mass and find yourself near West Springfield, GO!

Michael S.

Yelp
Really excellent place. We dropped in on a whim while visiting family in the area, and were pleasantly surprised. Very classy yet comfortable vibe, wide selection of tea and Eastern European-style sweet and savory food - bread stuffed with beef or cheese and onions, crepes, fish soup, borsch, kvass. All the dishes were great, service was good. Wish we lived nearby - would be a regular in our rotation.

Betsy Z.

Yelp
Lovely old world place. Homemade food and lovely selection of teas - like a coffee house except with tea! Crepes are delightful
google avatar

Dorian S.

Yelp
Every time we have a performance in town we visit this great place and are always satisfied with the quality of menu items we rarely get to eat such wonderful dishes Thank you so much looking forward to visiting again

Che L.

Yelp
They are super racist here. I do not recommend if you are a human. They told us to sit anywhere and never took our order but checked on other patrons several times right behind us. It was not busy in there. There was no wait. We made eye contact with the wait staff many times and they ignored us. WILL NOT BE COMING BACK. Black/latin people do not support this place.
google avatar

Yelp
I can't say enough good things about Crepes Tea House! I discovered this gem while traveling through Southwick and I was pleasantly surprised to find out there was one in West Springfield. The country style potatoes are cooked to absolute perfection, with the right amount of spices to make it pop with flavor. Don't forget the white dill dip!! I ask for extra dip every time so my girlfriend and I don't fight over who gets more. I The puffy cream cheese filled with fruit crepes are SO fresh and I love their plain crepes too! Even with nothing on the crepes they are full of flavor. The vanilla cream red tea is decaffeinated, delicious and perfect for a chilly day. The menu has so many options, Crepes Tea House is perfect for everybody and every occasion! Also, the service is tremendously friendly. Everyone is so welcoming and kind. I will always recommend Crepes Tea House for their great service, fresh/tasty food and ambiance within the restaurant.

Yelp
I am ashamed that it took me so long to get around to trying this place! What a nice family business with a vast tea selection and great crepes! We sat outside, even though it was a bit chilly. For breakfast, I had the eggs Benedict on a house made bagel-- the portion was very satisfying and it was cooked perfectly! Hubs went with a savory crepe filled with spicy chicken and veggies and a side of white garlic sauce-- it was massive! And delish! We also split a sweet crepe with puffy cream cheese, mixed berries and warm chocolate-- I wish my breakfast was this good everyday! For tea, you can't go wrong, try any variety! Service was friendly and we left happy and full. Def recommended, can't wait to return!
