Remarkable bar with swinging lamps that complete the groovy atmosphere. The cocktails are one-of-a-kind and taste outstanding. I’ve been there multiple times and I can say the place is filled with passionate, dedicated and enthousiast employees. Later in the night, it turns into more of a disco. Good for small groups of people, as there are not many seating areas.

Gaia was the best bartender! All the cocktails she suggested were amazing and she was super sweet! We also got some shots to try (which were also delicious)! Bonus point: they never let your glass of watet go dry, which definetely will help with tomorrows hangovers hahaha

The atmosphere was great, especially after 11pm. A variety of cocktails, with the Zombie being a personal favourite. The crepes were also very delicious and freshly made - a must try!

I've traveled the world and been to some of the best bars/nightlife destinations in the world. Point blank, Creps al Born was the most magical bar I've ever been to in the whole world. The true energy and magic is hard to capture with words and one that needs to be experienced. But I'll try. THE DRINKS: Cocktails themselves were top notch. Creative and fun and delicious. We ended up spending hours at the bar and one of the lovely bartenders took us through the menu, making many different ones. We loved them all. THE MUSIC: As a music lover, this is very important to me, and they had some of the best music (mostly Latin) playing. Fun, energetic, just the perfect music to create the perfect vibes. THE STAFF: They were lovely and added to the energy of the room as much as anything else did. The patrons fed off this energy and it wasn't long before the whole room was enjoying and seemingly on a similar energy level. THE ROOM: Not huge, not tiny, the perfect size to feel just right. The ambiance and design just worked perfectly and they had these awesome hanging lights that offer a bit of a light show throughout the night. We popped in around 5pm for a cocktail and ended up staying until midnight because it was just that good. Kudos to all those who have made this place what it is. Certainly a gem and I can only hope I am able to return one day.

Superrr cute and vibey bar ! They play a lot of American music and filled with mostly tourist but a must stop! Dark but cool place, lights were moving, bubbles were blown. Drinks were interesting mixes but very good

Must visit! Fun place, large flavorful drinks, fun crowd and amazing service. Located on a lively pedestrian street. I had a mezcal drink and then a Zombie (a rum drink with a burning passion fruit), next thing I remember - I am partying on the streets lit with torches, singing Catalan songs and dancing Sardana. True story.

Had a lot of fun here! I met up with some ladies from one of my travel groups, and we had a blast exploring the Barcelona night life. We walked through the Gothic Quarter, and I saw the sign out front, and I KNEW that we had to stop! I wish I could remember the names of the drinks, but I just remember that they were tasty and strong! And that's all I really need to remember, right? Haha!

Stopped in here for a coffee and dessert before our Picasso Museum visit. This is a cool place with a diverse crowd and cute dogs! The red velvet cake was really good and the coffee was good. This is a groovy spot to grab a drink and chat.

Visiting Barcelona from Philadelphia, we loved Creps al Born! First of all, the Born district is such a cute area, I loved the history here in this neighborhood, and the "local" feel it has with all local shops and businessess. Coming through here late night, Creps al Born was the only restaurant open late after 1am. I think they closed at 3am! However, the line was so long to get in we decided we would come back the next day for breakfast. For breakfast, there was no line, and we sat right away at a high top near the bar. The restaurant is tiny, there's only a few tables around the bar. Our waiter was amazing! He was so sweet and really funny, kept us laughing the entire breakfast. We had 3 savory crepes, and 1 sweet nutella crepe. Everything was delicious. The savory crepes were great, especially the hangover cure one, with egg, cheese, prosciutto, yum. Delicious tasting, pretty presentation, and lots of yummy cheese. The drinks were also really creative, lots of crafty cocktails and mocktails. The prices were good too! The crepes were big and filling for only 10 EUR, give or take a few, and the sweet crepe was only about 6. Overall, fantastic experience! Great food, great drinks, great prices, and great service!

Just go. This place has great drinks and good times at the ready. Try the honey rum. It's heavenly. Ricardo and Freddy are the greatest and this is one of the most memorable locations of my trip.

Fantastic place! I literally googled best dessert in Barcelona and this place was number two on the list, should be moved to number one! So my friend and I ordered crepes and my friend ordered a drink off the menu and I was craving a mudslide, which is a frozen coffee drink in the states. Freddy, the bartender, made me a similar version and it was amazing and delicious! The atmosphere of the entire place just screamed FUN! Definitely go here if you want a sweet little pick me up in the evening!

What a good find! I was headed to the Picasso Museum, but the line for free tickets (on Sunday) was way too long so we opted out for some crepes and cocktails instead. As we were leaving the alley from the museum, we stumbled upon Creps al Born. This place is very small and very, very crowded. My boyfriend and I were able to get a seat at the bar and it was quite the experience! When visiting, YOU HAVE TO ORDER THE ZOMBIE! Watching them make this drink is fun to watch and extremely dangerous to drink. My favorite cocktail here is Tea with Messi. Light and refreshing. Crepes were average. We asked for a suggestion and the bartender reccomended their popular Flambeada crepe. A waste of money! Pretty much a crepe (nothing inside) with sugar and Grand Marnier to flambé. (Not sure if I'm using that term correctly). It just tasted like liquor.. no texture or flavor in my opinion. So, I just went ahead and ordered a traditional Nutella, banana crepe. It was average, nothing outstanding. Aside from their average crepes, Creps al Born is a great, fun experience and their cocktails are very, very good that is well deserving of 5 stars.

Normally I will only have a Nutella crep. In my mind no others exists. But this time I thought let me try the salmon lox crep and boy was I a happy camper I did. It was filled with a yummy cream cheese and topped with a giant piece of smoked salmon then had capers and red onions on top. I enjoyed every single bite. The crep was really well made, the salmon was high quality and the toppings were the perfect touch. We did get the Nutella crep for the table and it was a great idea we all got a few bites and enjoyed a little something sweet. I also got the fresh squeezed juice and it was really tasty. Refreshing, fresh and well presented I loved it! Service was awesome and the space was well decorated. If I lived nearby I'd spend way too much time here.

Walking back from a long lunch @ Arcano; needed a digestive (aperitif before dinner?). Kinda early to stop @ Passieg de Born but hey, can never be too early. Cocktails: first class and original. Service: bestest (second drink). Music: eclectic and bouncy (third drink). Come on down! Final edit: ask for the Naughty Colada.

I absolutely love this place! One of the best bars in Barcelona. The drinks are great and not expensive. It does get crowded and spacing is a little tight. The staff are wonderful and entertaining with their drink presentation. Can't wait to come back here!

Came on recommendation of a hot waiter. As we waited patiently for him to (never) show up, our trio enjoyed a few (too many) delicious cocktails. The bartenders are showy/entertaining and the crowd is energetic/friendly. Try anything that mentions Cava foam!

I am in love with this place, and I am having withdrawal symptoms now that I am back home and not in Barcelona within walking distance of this amazing bar. I checked this place out under recommendation from my bartender from the night before and it definitely did not disappoint. The minute I walked in it felt like I stepped into my best friends party. The bartenders were swinging the hanging lights, throwing around martini shakers, and looked like they were just having tonnes of fun behind the bar. I had intended to come for the cocktails, but I ended up being tempted by the crepe menu and orders the sobrasada, goat cheese, and honey savory crepe which was amazing - delightfully light and thin crepe with just the right ratio of crepe to filling (the savory crepes are gluten free too!) I got the Mexcalita of their chalk board and the Green Fairy because I told the bartender that I wanted to try something with Cava in it. Both cocktails were unique and delicious. I spent a really long time sitting at the bar appreciating the details that went into the decor, watching the bartenders put on a show, people watching etc but was never made to feel unwelcome even though the tiny place was filling up and patrons were spilling into the square outside. The bartenders continued to be super attentive, giving me recommendations on things to see while I was in Spain and offering me water to go with the copious amounts of liquor I was downing. Literally want to fly back to Barcelona just to have cocktails and crepes at this bar!

Crepes and cocktails - how can you not like it here! This place is in the heart of the Uber Cool El Born area of Barcelona. I first found this bar when I visited 5 years ago and returned last month when I went back. It is cool for day and night, drinks and food. As the name says they specialise in crepes and do both sweet and savoury. The array of options is huge and on this occasion I had salmon and cream cheese. It was epic! My other big recommendation is the White Russian cocktail which is lovely and is a favourite of mine. Food is served late in to the night, so no excuses not to try a wee crepe whilst you making your way through the cocktail list! Easily 4 stars,

The best bar in the Born district hands down! Drinks are out of this world. The ambiance, the bartenders, and the drinks all play a part in the perfectly orchestrated scene. Creativity emerges from each drink and flavor smacks you in the face. Who ever thought that I would like spinach in cocktail? Weird but undeniably delicious . If you're visiting Barcelona please don't leave before trying this bar you'll thank me later .

One of the most fun bars in el Born The crepes are delicious though they don't put much chocolate in their chocolate crepes. The drinks are good and the staff is very friendly. The decor is fun, Hawaiian style I would recommend this place, for locals and tourists.

Came here to get a crepe. According to the reviews they have the best crepes and are open until 2am. Well what they didn't mention was it is a full blown bar! So after dinner we wasted time heading over thinking we would get dessert to find it was a club. It was very small and super packed. Omg ! It seemed the locals were having a great time. Unfortunately all we wanted was a crepe.

So much fun and great energy. Has all the right stuff to make a great drink even down to the pure ice for cocktails. Must see.

Must-Go bar in Barcelona! The drinks are delicious, and although they aren't the cheapest you can find, they are definitely worth it. Very creative, look great, and certainly pack a punch. Also fun decor and it's so fun to watch the bartenders swing the lights. Great music as well. We came on a Monday night around 9 for a couple of drinks, stayed for a couple of hours, as the night went on it got more and more crowded. Definitely get there early if you want a seat somewhere, the place is small. Can't comment on the crepes as I didn't try, but they smelled good!

I went to this little cocktail bar with a friend for my birthday while visiting Barcelona, and it was absolute perfect! I loved every bit of it. The bar is not very big, but it has a great cosy atmosphere. We got a seat at the bar which was quite lucky because minutes later the bar was packed (without being too crowded). We got to try different cocktails during the night with everything from passions fruit drinks to royal mojito with caba. And all of them were yummy! The staff were very casual and friendly yet still passionate in the making of the drinks. They had great humor but not in the tacky kind of bartender-way. And not least, the music was great - a mix of good old classics and new ones. All in all, everything was perfect and it will be a birthday I won't forget and a place I definately will recommend others to go to for a great night with fab drinks, cool music and authentic atmosphere.

This is a MUST if looking for a great craft cocktail. The staff is so kind and so funny, and they are dedicated to ensuring you have a great experience. When you go, ask for La Diabla - it's an original and no longer on the menu. Freddy is an incredible bartender and you won't find a cocktail this good anywhere else. As a plus, the crepes are amazing! Great music and atmosphere too.

Very yummy crepes with sweet and savory options. It's nice to get something that doesn't have ham in/or/around/exploding from it! A pleasant break from other places in the area. Nice service as well. Coffee was really good!

Caught me off guard when I walked up! I searched for desserts in the area and my wife wanted crepes, so we came here. I didn't read many of the reviews or details, so when I walked up to a bar, I was confused. Fortunately, we made it in about 30 minutes before they stopped serving crepes. We got the dulce de leche con platano. That really hit the spot for dessert! Super tasty, better than the crepes I tried in Paris. The bar was very lively and packed. Great throwback music! While eating my crepe we noticed some very interesting cocktails being served, so I decided to order "whatever drink that is on fire" which happened to be called the zombie, a passionfruit and rum drink. It was a delicious cocktail, no wonder it's one of their most popular cocktails.

My wife saw this place as we were meandering the streets of the Born and alerted to the fact this small place made crepes. That was all she needed. Inside, a group of young men sat at the bar with drinks and crepes and were enjoying their company and broadcasting their love of the experience they were having, and it hooked us into staying awhile. I had one of the best Bloody Marys ever and my wife got her desired crepe. All the staff, particularly one young man, were hospitable, friendly and engaging, telling us about his trip to Las Vegas, San Francisco and LA....we were charmed. A wonderful experience!

Wow! I stumbled onto this place by mistake. Best mistake of the night. This is thee place for a truly amazing drink. Each drink here is a piece of art. From the visual aspect to the very delicious taste. The bartenders are mixologists who travel the world displaying their technique and skill. The music was super fun! There is a vibe in this place that just makes you feel GOOD. I had a naughty colada to start. Then had a shot by the name of a porn star (which I forget) but it had to be the tastiest thing I've ever had. I hope to go back for crepes. If you are ever in this very cool area make your way in here! You will NOT regret it! If I could give it 6 stars I would!!!

The crepes are not bad, I had a savory one with spinach, cheese, and honey, kinda unusual combo, I wouldn't get this particular one again, but I'd try another. Lovely place in Barcelona, the cocktails are pricey but incredible. I had menorca mule and it was fantastic!! You should try it. The place is quite small so don't be shy to be early. The crepes are also delicious.

This place is amazing. I spent five days in Barcelona and every night started out with drinks at Creps al Born. The bartenders are true mixologist and really put their heart into the drinks they are making. Every drinks is specifically crafts and has ingredients once would never think would taste good in a drink such as bell peppers, BBQ sauce and heavy milk. The establishment is full of locals that seem to be known by the bar staff. During our visit, the bar was announced the best bar in Spain. It's off the tourist path, but well worth finding. Very small space, so get there early if you have a crowd.

This review is purely for drinks. Juan is an impressive and talented mixologist who could easily stand up to most in new York. Apparently these are 'Argentinian style' cocktails. In mixology there is artistry and also a concern for the customer's experience. Juan has an impressive control of both. He curates your experience and walks you through each step of the cocktail making process so you can appreciate the complexity of flavor once it's ready. He chose the 'Argentine swizzle' for me, which he characterized as a taste of Venezuela. It contains, as I recall, muddled mint and lime, gin, fernet and more awesome stuff in the drink and comes with a small cup of dulce de leche. He instructs you to coat your tongue with a bit of dulce de leche before drinking your drink to round out the acidity of the lime and freshness of the mint. The effect has a bouquet of wonderful complexity, first viscous and sweet, then acidic and bitter, then fresh, from dessert to salad, from pain to pleasure. Just what I look for in a drink. I'm sure a place like this would be mobbed by alienating hipsters in new York and I'd be cowering over my drink, but the place has Barcelona's characteristic friendly openhandedness. I chatted with a couple to my right who were mercifully curious about Brooklyn. The next drink Juan recommended is the Popeye sour, quickly understanding my love of 'complex' drinks (or 'well balanced' as he says) that are emblematic of the bar I'm at. This drink contains, as I recall, muddled spinach, ginger, lime, and the wonderful touch of smoky mezcal sprayed on top like bitters. This drink plays the magic trick of making you think you are about to get drunk on smoky Mexican liquor, but then you are overtaken by the sweetness of orgeat, the acidity of lime, the spice of ginger, and a light vegetal spinach flavor. It is a sensory 'meal' in itself. And I believe new Yorkers would probably pay through the nose to try it. I've been lightly tipsy off these tremendous drinks for an hour, and hope that before their statute of limitations is over, I'll make some friends.

This place is a must when visiting Barcelona. I've been here a few times and have loved it! However not just for the food the cocktails are also a must I would recommend a White Russian with a salmon and creamy cream cheese crepe

This place is a lot of fun! Delicious cocktails w/a tequila focus but they have everything. Very cool/relaxed island/nautical feel just off a semi-busy square in the Born neighborhood. Great place to stop after boutique shopping!

I have yet to try a crepe I haven't liked here. ANDDD they have an extensive list of them... They have basic crepes with a couple ingredients, to some more interesting concoctions--a teeny bit more in price, but huge portions and more ingredients. I love their savoury crepes--I haven't been able to find a better savoury crepe yet. Their sweet crepes are great, too, but I haven't had them as often because I am usually far too full from a couple of savoury ones (my husband and I can do with two--but sometimes we'll get a third to split). Drinks-wise, I cannnnnot get over how good their mojito is. Late at night, especially on weekends, it can get a bit loud and raucous--but that can be quite fun, so long as you know what you're getting into!

A rather unassuming bar in trendy El Born, Creps al Born turns out to be a knight in shining armor in the emerging BCN 'craft' cocktail trend. Mostly thanks to Argentinian Juan (Think Mr Brainwash) who has brought his South American 'mad scientist' vibe to this cozy food & drink bar a couple clicks down from El Born CC, locals & foreigners alike will love the experience. Sadly we only discovered it on our last night, and totally by happenstance, it actually became our favorite drinking experience during our BCN visit...mostly due to the spirited conversation based on Juan's detailed knowledge of spirits and thirst for experimentation. They also offer one of the deepest spirits selection in town so if you're graving a certain type of gin, rum, tequila, mescal, etc., they probably have it. Averaging €9 per craft cocktail, a good value for these quality drinks! So don't be shy...grab a stool at the bar, ask for Juan, and let your adventure begin...

We are spending 5 nights in Barcelona, and we will be visiting Creps al Born 5 times. Fun bar, better bar tenders, and the other travelers make this a must visit. Just go, wait until a seat at the bar is open, then watch all of the different drinks being made. It'll put you in the mood to try them all!

This place has a great atmosphere with good music. Everyone is super friendly and the bartenders have great energy. They will take shots with you. The crepes are good too! Would for sure come back.

This place is pretty cool. My bf and I went at night, and were initially turned off by the crowdedness. BUT, the bartenders are great! The food is great! And the crepes are great! The crowd was a bit much, but once you get your AWESOME drinks, you will have no cares! You must try the drinks in the bag!! What an amazing idea. I love the drink bags, especially the Solero. The drink they light on fire is pretty cool too. The bartenders are very attentive and entertaining--definitely a plus! I highly recommend this place for a late night drink and crepe.

First time visiting Barcelona, my friend recommended this place because he knows I love cocktails! Creps al Born was a lot fun! It's an small, intimate space, but it definitely packs a lot of people. The service was really good. When the bar is packed, they have a waitress that's quick to take your order and get your drink to you quick as possible. My favorite drinks are the Deep Blue, Zombie, and the Donkey Kong. All three of them are winners. I'm from Chicago and I typically check out cocktail and tiki bars often when I travel. For my first time in Barcelona, Crep al Born definitely showed me a good time! I would definitely recommend checking this place out for sure.

Few friends went on a Friday night around 9pm. After that started getting crowded. The bar tenders know how to prepare drinks and entertain the cutomers. The people were also fun to have conversation. Saying hello to Francesco!

Loveeeeee this bar. The bartenders are so lovely and charming. They gave us shots, good drinks, and great company. The shots are incredibly tasty and go down smooth. The bar gave me local vibes and was a cool getaway from the touristy aesthetic of La Rambla.

The most fun cocktail bar in Barcelona! Sit at the bar, talk to the bartender, try a few different drinks! Alexjandro rocked! They gave us a fabulous paella recommendation and night life ideas. Totally memorable and worth while, think we spent 3 hours here!
