"First impression? Creps al Born is a raging party in a tight, bumper-to-bumper space. It's not a club by any stretch, but if you want Barcelona’s most upbeat and rowdiest cocktail bar, you've found it. Cool. So who’s there? A mixed bag, but mostly well-lubricated tourists making the most of their typically outsized night in El Born. How are the drinks? Like too many bars around town, the house cocktails here are unnecessarily complicated. Stick to the spicy Margarita, a tasty and straightforward creation, the Piña Colada, and one of the silkiest Espresso Martinis in town. Aside from that, most people down fruity highballs and mojitos—in between shots, of course. Worth ordering something to eat, too? Loads of sweet and savory crepes—hence the name.
