Taco Bamba Stages a Big D.C. Comeback This Fall | Eater DC

"At the shiny new City Ridge complex (3900 Wisconsin Avenue NW) I see a flashy redevelopment of Fannie Mae’s former headquarters characterized by modern concrete architecture and a 20-foot glass wall; the site will host Taco Bamba’s largest standalone location with a big patio and will also welcome Tatte Bakery & Cafe and King Street Oyster Bar this fall." - Tierney Plumb

City Ridge is a lovely cozy apartment property! My tour given by Maurita was excellent! She showed us all of the apartment's amenities including clubhouses, business offices for tenants, commercial kitchen spaces for small events, the penthouse areas and much more! Her jovial demeanor, being able to answer all my questions and showing me several options were very helpful! Book your tour with Maurita at City Ridge apartments!

City Ridge is a standout gem in the heart of DC, boasting a prime location that's a stone's throw from the Tenleytown Metro stop. This jewel of the city is nestled amidst an eclectic mix of restaurants and shopping options, with the added convenience of hosting a Wegmans grocery store on its premises. The City Ridge apartments offer a practically self-contained living experience that truly impresses, especially with its shared working areas and a variety of themed rooftop amenities. Among these, the heated rooftop swimming pool and bar stand out, not to mention the golf simulator that also accommodates other sports. The attention to detail throughout the complex is remarkable, right down to their own branded water bottles—no expense has been spared. The concierge staff are exceptionally respectful and kind, providing a welcoming atmosphere that feels genuinely caring. Kim, the rooftop bartender, is particularly noteworthy for her remarkable margaritas, which can be enjoyed either indoors or outdoors. Furthermore, the leasing agent, Maurita, is knowledgeable, thorough, and incredibly helpful. Her expertise about the property and her dedication to making potential residents feel valued, as if they were her first customer, is unparalleled. Thanks to the combination of Maurita's kindness and Kim's incredible margaritas, I've decided to make City Ridge my new home in March. It's clear that City Ridge isn't just an apartment complex—it's a lifestyle choice for those seeking the best that DC has to offer.

Contemporary apartments that are well managed. I love my corner unit with floor to ceiling windows facing two directions. Units are very well finished. Management is attentive and listens. Nice amenities. Concierge’s team is great including Miss T, Kenny, Abbell, and Chichita. In the leasing office, I worked with Karen who is excellent. I also have gotten to know Darryann and Maurita, both lovely.

As more and more properties are eliminating and automating concierge roles, City Ridge has an all star team. Kenny, Shirley, Abel, and our overnight and late night teams make this community hum. They know the residents, know the buildings, and offer a kind smile/voice on tough days. They also know our pups and my dog likes to hang out and socialize. I know I can stop by, ask a question, or just ask about their day, and it’s greatly appreciated. Special folks who make a big difference.

Beautiful property complex in upper Northwest Washington DC comprised of four buildings with shared amenities and commercial (including a Wegmans) on the ground floor. I was lucky to be shown around by Maurita Weaver (ask for her) who was extremely attentive and knowledgeable about each of the properties. She was able to recommend a few units to look at quickly that were right around what I was looking for. I couldn't have asked for anything more. The units and buildings were all well built and appointed. The Ridge Club on the rooftop in the middle is a very cool place with a year round heated pool. I have lived nearby for 8 years and I'm impressed, and I was happy to consider this for my next home.

I have resided at City Ridge for a year now, and it has truly been a positive experience. The staff, particularly Miss T at the front desk, are highly responsive. She, in particular, exudes warmth and friendliness. I thoroughly enjoy every interaction I have with her. The building is impeccably clean, and the staff consistently keeps residents informed about planned and unplanned events within the building. Communication with residents is always a top priority.

I normally don’t leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share an unfortunate experience I had with the rental office staff at City Ridge. Recently, I tried to take my kids to the rooftop pool at the Ridge Club, but my key fob wasn’t working. I contacted the rental office and spoke with Marita Weaver, who confirmed that my account was up-to-date and there was no reason I shouldn’t have access. I politely asked if she could let us up since everything was in order, and we were already dressed and waiting in the lobby—my kids in swimwear with towels in hand. To my shock, her response was not only unhelpful but extremely rude. She admitted she had the ability to let us in but said she simply chose not to. I found this to be incredibly unprofessional and dismissive, especially considering we pay a $1,000 annual amenity fee to use features like the pool. I’ve never had any prior issues or negative interactions with her, so I was caught off guard by the attitude and lack of basic courtesy. This experience was not only disappointing for me, but embarrassing in front of my children. I hope the management addresses this, as residents deserve to be treated with respect and professionalism—especially when it comes to paid amenities.

Kenny, the receptionist at Crescendo at City Ridge, is hands down the best! He’s always in a great mood, super friendly, and genuinely helpful. No matter the time of day, he greets everyone with a smile and positive energy. He treats my guests with the same kindness and respect as he does the residents. Kenny really makes the building feel like home and sets the tone for a welcoming community. We’re lucky to have him!
