Yelp
There is a very popular salad chain called Sweetgreen with several locations around Manhattan. One of their locations is in the Flatiron District. Recently, a competitor named Crisp & Green has opened up one block away. This is also a fast casual place though their menu offers other things too. At Crisp & Green, you can also order smoothies and acai bowls. Their menu also offers "grain bowls" where you can have brown rice with your salad, but Sweetgreen does the same thing without calling it a grain bowl.
At Crisp & Green, you also have many choices for your salad - almost any kind of vegetable, meat, nuts, cheeses, and different dressings. Both places have equally fresh ingredients as well. However, the thing I did not like at this place was that their roasted chicken and roasted tomato and dressing were way too salty. Price wise, they are similar to Sweetgreen at $14-$15 for a salad. Between the two, I would still choose Sweetgreen based on the flavor aspect.
