Crisp Garden

Really enjoy the food here. I’ve been twice and the service has been so good and tasty. Highly recommend. Korean fried chicken is always crispy. My husband enjoyed the short ribs and the kimbap was delicious!

Crisp Garden is a small restaurant with Korean food so flavorful that it exceeds its capacity! We weren’t familiar with Korean cuisine, and our server Tony was so welcoming and explained many dishes on the menu to us. We were blown away by everything that we ordered, the food is excellent, beautiful, and delicious with prices to match. The atmosphere is very simplistic and casual and the restaurant is well maintained! The only con is that the hard benches at the tables do get uncomfortable after a while.. maybe bring your own pillow? Only joking. It’s definitely worth a stop!! 10/10 recommend!

Very clean.. and the toilet is clean, although it's only one unisex toilet. The atmosphere is calm. Food portions are good!

This restaurant is a breath of fresh air for West Texas! We had this to go the first time and it was super yummy. We couldn’t wait to eat inside and experience the food super fresh. We finally had it yesterday! We ordered a smorgasbord of delicious dishes. My favorite was the combo pineapple fried rice. Great flavor and plenty of meat! I love the pork belly wraps and anything bulgogi has been delectable. The staff is super hospitable and very attentive. We will definitely have this as a regular place for Korean food.

Nice, small Korean restaurant. Very clean. Owner and his helper were very friendly. The pot stickers and garlic sauce were really good. The appetizer with pickled fresh veggies was excellent. I had bibimbap and my husband had the pork kimbap. Both were good. They have a very active takeout clientele. This was our first visit and we will definitely go back.

The food was fantastic! We ordered grilled bulgogi, kimchi fried rice, tokoyaki, sweet and spicy (6 pc) Korean fried chicken, and egg roll kimbap. Total cost: $75 before tip. That sushi (egg roll kimbap) was my favorite along with the fried chicken! The waitress brought out a sample bowl of a yummy beef soup (that had seaweed and beef crumbles) to everyone in the dining room, so that was really cool!!

Food was amazing, appetizers and main coarse all delicious. Service was good, prices very reasonable. This is a place you could go to at least a couple times a month and not get bored with it.

Alright, I was a bit harsh on my previous review. Maybe we went on a bad day. This time around? Fresh and flavorful. That meat, veggies and overall flavor profile hit just right. I'll definitely be back to try them again.

I was craving some Korean wings while out here in midland, and I stumbled across this place. I tried the sweet and spicy wings (10 pcs). The wings were pretty good (8/10) and the sauce was very flavorful. Now, service wise, it was a disaster. The servers are nice, and what I could tell, it seems like just the parents and their son, but I ordered the food online, arrived 20 mins after it, and waited about 30-40 mins for my food inside. So, good food, just don't go there in a hurry. The inside of the restaurant is actually pretty nice, and can accommodate a good amount of people. Overall, nice owners, good dine in, good food, good ambience, but will take a while.

My father and I ate here for lunch... his first Korean food experience. He had the combination pineapple fried rice and loved it. My go to is the Bulgogi Bibimbap. The service is always prompt and courteous. The owners are always quick to check on you; and will find a solution if for some reason you don't like your food - but I've never had anything here that wasn't tasty. Usually a very quiet place to eat.

I have been to Crisp Garden Oppa probably six times since it opened, for lunch and dinner. I absolutely love their hot stone bowl "bibimbap" with galbi (aka short rib). For those who don't like bones, get the bulgogi (shredded beef) bibimbap. Great price for rice, variety of veggies, a fried egg and meat. Plus the banchan appetizer of pickled veggies is a great addition for gut health. Also, the wings are absolutely fire. Can't go wrong with this place. Support local!

I had the bulgogi bibimbap and it was delicious! My only complaint was that the benches were uncomfortable. But I will definitely go back.

Therestaurant is updated and very clean. The server is super friendly and sweet. Spicy soup comes pipping hot, well done. Taste? It's alright. Banchan is not good, taste old. Rice is alright quality.

I went there, and I had the Bulgogi as well as the bulgolgi Kimbop! The food was delicious as well as plentiful. I could not finish it during one sitting!!

I ordered the Spicy Pork. It was very delicious! The portion was okay. It was a little pricey. It is a great spot here in Midland. The service was great.

I can't believe we have this place in Midland. I love everything I've ordered to date. The bulgogi bibimbap is my fave. You must try it. It comes out in a sizzling hot bowl. Wait a few minutes before stirring all the way to the bottom and you will be rewarded with nice crispy rice ... mmmm mm mmmmm yes sir

Visiting midland and dropped in with my team for lunch. Food was made to order and excellent. Service was great as well and would not hesitate recommending this to anyone looking for Korean food in the midland area. Only thing missing on the menu was Japchae

While the food is very good the service is absolutely horrible. I LOVE Korean food! I came for dinner this week with a few girlfriends and the whole experience took 2 hours. The kimchi pancake, spicy pork and broth soup is all very good. I really hope they can get more help so they survive the Midland market. The waitress (granted she was the only one) would disappear for long periods of time. She was sweet, but overworked and forgetful. You couldn't even get a drink refill or pay out for 20 min. My friend even called ahead to ask if they had alcohol and was told they had beer and wine. Upon arriving, they only have sweet saki wine (no bottles of red or white to purchase) and a very limited beer selection (1 Saporro and some Dos Equis).

Nice spot for some lovely Korean soul food. I usually get either the Bibimbap or their kimchi soup. The gyoza and seafood pancake is also nice. The kimchi soup does have a kick, which is great! Warms my belly :) And they also provide a complimentary soup with your meal. It's one of my go to spots in Midland!

First, the interior of this place at least looks a lot nicer than most strip mall restaurants we've been to in midland. We started with green tea which was served in a pot so big we couldn't even taste the tea from the 2 tiny teabags in the pot. They should either get smaller tea pots, put more tea bags in the large pots, or just serve single cups so green tea with a tea bag. On to the food. They have a pretty limited menu, extremely disappointed they didn't have japchae which was extremely perplexing since it's a staple of any Korean restaurant. A beef and seaweed soup was served prior to the entrees which was good. Extremely skimpy banchan (the small dishes of pickled items severed with Korean food), they didn't even fill all 5 available spots on the serving dish. We both ordered the bibimbap, both were adequate. More banchan would have been nice as it wasn't enough to even have with the meal. Not sure we'll be back since they don't have japchae and even the Restaurants that serve multiple kinds of Asian foods here have it, though this is the first one we've seen actually do banchan. Guess midland Just doesn't have a more authentic Korean place with both popular and standard Korean dishes and banchan; which is what we're looking for.

I ordered delivery and was extremely clear in the special instructions that we had a severe sesame seed allergy in the special comments section. I also wrote no sesame seeds in all caps with an exclamation mark. Thank goodness my granddaughter saw the seeds before I poured in the broth. She had broth and write rice for dinner. This is a dangerous establishment that cannot be trusted!

The food was good,service and staff too. Is a nice place to go!! Loved it I took my baby with me and it was nice

The ambience, and lighting was great - good vibes. The place was clean. Loved the Bulgogi Bibimbap and kimchi pancake. Surprising to see Korean food in Midland, but don't sleep on this place - must try!

Fire. Bulgogi bi bim bap probably the best I've had. Came out in a ceramic pot that was sizzling and kept everything warm. Beef wasn't the overly sweet mince that you often get but super tender strips of flavorful beef. Got six piece Korean bbq wings that I couldn't stop eating despite being full from bi bim bap. They were super crunchy, moist, spicy sweet. Great. I'd come here again anytime. Kimchi pancake looked Fire too.

Love the Galbi Bibimbap, Spicy Pork Bimbipap. A bit pricey but worth it excited that they're opening a kbbq soon

Only Korean food I can find in Midland Texas, the Environment is Clean, good standard food; not too salty or spicy. The server is super positive, polite and friendly.

We arrive Sat about 4pm after my son's football games. If you're a person of color don't waste your time. They cleaned a table & never acknowledged us after we sat down. Didn't even look at us. I wanted to try all kinds of things. We were about to spend some money. Haven't had Korean since the last time I went back home for vacation. We went to Torinos across the street for a shot while we found some where else to spend our money.

Phenomenal place. Food will fill you up for the day and the price is super affordable. Staff is amazing as well. We've gone here 4 different times over the span of a couple of months and the waiter recognized us and asked if we wanted what we usually get which was the Spicy Pork Bimbipap. If you're wanting to try something new, take the risk and come here. Free samples of some Korean veggie

Service was excellent! Staff was extremely nice and courteous. Food was just average. I was hoping for a little more since it was a little pricey. I had pineapple fried rice but did not come like in the picture. My friend was charged for extra's that she ordered but did not receive. The best thing was the egg rolls. They were perfect.

Tried it for the first time tonight. My husband is half Korean so we are always on the look for a good Korean spot. Service was excellent. The staff is very friendly and attentive! Food was ok. Very light on the meat portions. Very light on the seasoning/flavor. Menu is very limited, no kid items. But the kimchi pancakes took this place to a 4 star! Really really good Kimchi pancakes. I would go back again. Try some different menu items, the pineapple fried rice looked good.

This may have been the best date night spot we have visited in the 3 years we have lived in midland. The food is really good, get the hot bowl bimbap, it's an experience. The food stays sizzling hot for about an hour in a stone bowl they heat to an extremely high temp. The staff really cared that we had a good time. They have fizzy sake which is very strong and you can share it with your date with shot glasses = mega fun/weird. The music they were playing was Korean club music which coupled with shots of sake and interactive food added another dimension to the fun. We had a blast here and it was fairly priced.

It feels like a treat even though it's affordable comfort food This place is modern, and bright clean , we're delighted to eat here they've been doing well.Best of all is that with their food and service Quality food is good and price is decent . Their amazing kimchi. We share a seafood pancake and tofu soup It is such a solid meal - I highly recommend! Will come back for more and more

We just discovered this place recently and I swear we've been at least once a week since! I'm hooked!! Try it out you won't be disappointed and the service is just as great!!

Me and my wife went for dinner and we travel a lot and we always keep an eye out for good Korean food . We didn't know that Midland had a good Korean restaurant and now we can get this close to home we will be back so happy this place opened up here it is delicious.

Had this a week ago. Everything taste so fresh and so yummy. Waitress was very attentive and nice. Love that it is a family run business . Very reasonably priced :) . I love that we have this here in Midland . We will be back!

Great Korean food spot. Delicious galbi. Also ordered seafood tofu soup, Korean fried chicken, and kimbap. We're from Austin and think theyre as good as many Korean spots in Austin. Casual restaurant with clean bathroom as well.

This place is great!!! In town on business and was so tired of the same old thing... I ordered from DoorDash after seeing some of the reviews and I'm glad I did. Great flavor, options to add extra egg and veggies, and the sauce had some heat behind it which I appreciated (it came on the side in case that's not your thing). I love supporting local businesses and am glad this is where I spent my money tonight, well worth it!

The staff picks and chooses who they want to serve and when. We walked in and 2 parties walked in behind us. Both parties received their drinks and food order before we were given our menus. We walked out after 15 minutes of watching others eat that came in behind us. The food is good but the staff is not.

Great food and good to have a variety of restaurants in Midland Texas! I love Mexican food but also want more options for food. Glad Midland people are realizing that we are needing more ethnic and variety choices.

Crisp has become a new go to restaurant for me. That being said, I don't believe all of their dishes are created equal. I found their pineapple fried rice a little bland. That's the only dish that I didn't absolutely love. The Bibimbap is really good. My wife loves the Korean BBQ Wings, and our one-year-old loves the egg rolls. As for me, I keep coming back for the Beef Ramen. It's incredible

Authentic delicious Korean food. Not the way I'm used to having pork belly, but won't complain as this is the only Korean place I know of in the area. Great menu items, love to see it expand.

Great authentic Korean food.. I always order online when I land in Midland. fast and got exactly what I ordered every time..I even got some side dish. I also love the small detail they added to their packaging.. like I got dumdums

First let me say, I am korean. This place is AWFUL! The people are not korean. The music playing is not korean. It is upsetting for them to pass that crap they call food off as korean. I ordered grilled galbi. The server mispronouncing it was my first hint that it might not be good. Then she asked me if I wanted it medium or well-done. WHAT IN THE WHAT?! Galbi is charred! Korean food is known for being charred or very well done. It is what gives it its unique flavor. The Korean pancake couldn't have been made with the right batter, because it was fluffy. It is supposed to be thin with crispy edges. The oi kimchi (cucumber kimchi) was gross. The spicy pork wasn't spicy and didn't taste good. I got the pork soy bean paste soup. It was blan. Don't waste your time on this place. I guess if you're not korean or familiar with korean food, you might like it.

Super delicious, I tried the Bibimbap bulgogi very yummy. Super cute inside as well and the employees were amazing!
