Yelp
We greatly enjoy their salads.
They are tasty, generous
and fresh.
The only issue that is keeping me from a five star rating
is I feel short shrifted, and oddly disrespected when we get up to the counter to conclude our transactions.
Apparently, Crisp offers a rewards program where you can put your email and get swag
when you purchase enough product. We signed up for those perks.
The issue is when I am checking out,
the gal clears out the whole thing before I get a chance to complete this process to add our swag points.
It doesn't appear accidental. Sort of passive/aggressive actually.
Like, oops, you weren't fast enough to get your bonus points.
This has happened at least three times.
I don't want to feel like I am a bother, having just supported the coffers and left a nice tip, Yet, I feel like a bothersome invasive species.
True, we are old, in our mid- sixties. Certainly more seasoned than the younger people who bounce in and out of there.
I am not a computer programmer so, it takes me a moment or two to enter our information to get this what has turned into an imaginary credit. I don't know if we have any credits accrued. It isn't a deal breaker, but, it feels unfriendly.
I don't even know anymore if our email is still in their system.
I get zeroed out, erased, before any of that gets entered. I feel rushed.
I feel this is counter to the way we are dealt with when we order.
Maybe it's us. Maybe we ticked someone off and aren't aware of our faux pas. i don't know what to think. Perhaps we are considered by the fresh faced, and eager twenty somethings employed there to be too feeble to be deserving of dining on fresh salad and they would prefer we don't patronize their establishment.
