Highlights

On February 27, 2012, we opened our doors hoping to bring something truly unique to you: affordable gourmet. It may sound really cliché, but you'll find something for everyone here. Call us crazy, but we think the idea of having only one "price point" at a restaurant makes no sense. Why shouldn't you be able to get a high-end meal at the same place you find amazing, affordable, on-the-go thin crust pizza? Why can't you have an amazing glass of Merlot with a delectable Detroit deep dish pizza? And why can't all of this be made for you with quality and affordability in mind? When we opened our doors, we answered all of these questions. At Crispelli's, we believe that quality doesn't have to be expensive. With hundred-year-old baking techniques, the freshest dough, and the finest ingredients, we're committed to affordable gourmet. But we also know that life is becoming ever more fast-paced, so it's fitting that the centerpiece of our restaurant is a stone fired oven, that bakes at 700 degrees, that'll make a thin crust pizza, right in front of you, in about 5 minutes. Grab something light, fresh, and healthy if you're on-the-go. Or have a seat and settle into cozy gourmet. But the passion of the people that are here is what makes this a special place. It starts with the owners and it doesn't stop with the staff: a true, heartfelt, commitment to perfection. When you're here, you'll see and hear and smell a vibrancy, and an energy that's hard to resist...

"Part bakery, part pizzeria, Crispelli’s is known for stone-fired thin-crust pizza and fresh baked bread. The style of pizza harkens back to the old work with thinner dough, light on the cheese, and artisanal. Detroit-style is also available for those that can’t get enough deep dish." - Courtney Burk

Excited to get some Italian food! Was in between the chicken parmigiana and pizza. The waitress told me if it’s my first time then to go with the authentic Italian thin crust pizza. That’s what we did. The pizza was as described. Thin crust. Pizza. It was a bit soggy in middle due to all the cheese. The dough and bread was great. A bit salty from all the cheese. I’d try another pizza or chicken parmesan next time, personally. The dry rub wings came out first as an appetizer. I’ve had dry rub wings many times but these tasted very salty to me. 6 wings to an order. Came with a nice spicy dipping sauce. Had to save room for dessert. Had a baby chocolate chip cannoli and it was pretty good. Solid flavor of all the ingredients and came together well. The highlight of the meal for me was the chocolate chip cookie. Perfectly baked where the inside was gooey and soft and the outside had nice crust. Would def get this again and again! They have a space on the side for events which is nice. I think there is a graduation party happening at the moment (congratulations, whoever you are!!). The staff is friendly. I always appreciate being able to see the fire oven making the baked goods and it’s clearly on display at the front.

Crispelli's at Somerset Mall offers a delightful dining experience that merges nostalgia with culinary excellence. The Wild Mushroom pizza is a standout, boasting a harmonious blend of flavors that tantalize the taste buds. Pair it with their Bosco sticks, which evoke fond memories of school days with each cheesy bite. Beyond the food, the staff, particularly Chelsea and Dylan, elevate the experience with their attentive service and genuine warmth, ensuring that every visit feels like a homecoming. Chelsea and Dylan indeed infuse the pizzas with an extra layer of hospitality, making Crispelli's a must-visit destination for both delicious food and exceptional service.

This was my 2nd time trying this White Pizza and I have feel in love with it. I add chicken, spinach and mushrooms and it really is the bees knees. My boyfriend has the fennel sausage pizza and he added pepperoni to his. We also got the meatballs as an appetizer and they were so good. I highly recommend you give them a try

We had a wait, and that's to be expected on a Friday night. Once we were sat, the kids next to us had crayons, but we never got any might have to ask for them. The steak bites were spot on. Pizza was raw in the crust and super floppy like it was rushed. The cheese bread was out of this world. The flavor was awesome, and the cheese pull and cook were both perfect. The salad was super fresh, and the dressing complimented it very well. I will be back on a slower day to see if the hype is real.

Great restaurant in Troy, Michigan with a wide variety of entrees, pizza, sandwiches, salads, desserts, and drinks. The Build Your Own Italian pizza is delicious.

The food was good, complemented by equally commendable service and a pleasing ambiance throughout our visit.

Oh good, there is an authentic Italian Pizza place in this entire area. I love Detroit style Pizza, but Naples style Pizza is by far the greatest. The quality of the food was great, tasted like real and authentic Italian Pizza. Most Italian Pizza places make it look authentic, but don't get the flavors correct. Glad this place does both well. Heavily recommend. The Margherita was delicious. The appetizer and the salad was good, too. The service was excellent and friendly. The venue was a lovely place. Great atmosphere. Will go again.

Google
My dietary issues make it hard for me to venture out and try a pizza place but an app told me this place accommodates dietary needs really well. I’m SO glad I listened. I’m blown away with how incredibly good the food is! I got an Italian panini on a gluten free bun & I had to call to confirm it was actually gluten free cause it’s so good!!

Yelp
The bosco sticks are always on point and the margarita pizza is very tasty. Upscale pizzeria. Great place for lunch with the family or coworkers. This location has outside seating which is very nice on sunny days.

Yelp
Less than a mile away from Marriott Troy, this eatery serves up pizza, salads, and more plus a small selection of pastries. I was running by and stopped in to see what they had -- and I'm so sad I didn't have time to grab a proper meal. Everything smelled incredible...buuutt I got Basco sticks and a cannoli to go. The Basco Sticks......what? Like -- how? And I apologize for no photos and no cheese pull, but I was absolutely infatuated with these eats. It's a bread stick that is soft but baked crispy and stuffed with mozzarella cheese served with homemade marinara. Sooooo soooooo good. Make it a must order. Oh, and the cannoli was awesome too. Great service, friendly staff. Only complaint is I didn't eat more :(

Yelp
Let me just get strait to the pint the food is amazing I got a pepperoni pizza and it was bomb, the pizza was enormous, and the cheese bread was great. My mom got the grilled chicken club with pesto. The waitress that we got was great the service was awesome and she was super nice, the food came out in about 5 minutes so it's super quick which I love. The Ambience was great a good size waiting room, music not to loud, and just a great place overall. I would recommend this place to everyone that is in this area. The one thing I think you should add is a little more electronics.

Yelp
While the food was very good, the size of the pizza was way smaller than they list it as. We ordered an 11 inch pizza which was actually 8 inches in diameter. The toppings were not even across the pizza either. One quarter of the pizza had one pepperoni and no mushrooms. I was put on total ignore when I came in to pick the order up. Even though there were a number of employees standing around, I had to ask twice if someone would help me. Like I said , the pizza and salad were tasty, the service, even for carry out was horrible and the pizza was so small, we had to make something to supplement our dinner.

Yelp
Good afternoon, Previously, we have always had good experiences here. The food is tasty and service is good, however this afternoon was a disappointing one. Although the quality of the food was fine, the staff lacked any sense of proper dining etiquette. The dirty plates were never removed, empty beer bottles gathered at the end of the table and the drinks were not refilled. We stacked the plates up and the workers did not get the hint. It became an uncomfortable situation. The server was quite pleasant but we could see her in the kitchen area laughing as we waited for the tabled to be cleared. Right next to us, a large 8 top table full of dirty dishes sat the entire time we were eating even though the busser walked by several times and then we saw him sitting down. As a former server, I realize everyone has a bad day but the restaurant was not busy, so overall, it was a disappointing way to spend an afternoon. Thank you for your time and consideration. DG

Yelp
Fantastic pizza. The sauce is amazing and has a fresh tomato flavor. The dough is really good, the restaurant is also a bakery. The staff are kind and the pizza is made in a real wood burning oven. Crispelli's easily beats most other pizzerias in the area. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.

Amy C.

Yelp
I've been here a few times and I'm never disappointed. I like a round thin pizza and these do not disappoint. The sauce isn't too heavy on garlic or oregano, nor is it too sweet. I've had sandwiches, salad & pizza and all were delicious. I've brought co-workers here because it's near our office and everyone always enjoys their meal. I'll definitely be back!

Rachel T.

Yelp
This location is different from the Royal Oak location. It's not a order-yourself but a sit-down with servers. I did notice the food isn't totally the same either, so for that I am rating it lower than 5. Ambiance is kind of similar but smaller. Usually get the prosciutto pizza which is great. The mac and cheese was amazing, but the one I ordered at this location tonight was not good. Not sure if they didn't have a certain cheese available tonight? It almost had no flavor or bite. I like that they have gluten free options so I can go with my gf spouse. The gf crust is harder though than the regular crust. The great part about the regular crust is that it's chewy. I usually always order a salad. The Mediterranean dressing is good on the classic salad. The epi bread that comes with the food is really soft and great. If I compare it to the RO location the Troy location leaves something left to be desired.. Not sure why it would be different..

Holly N.

Yelp
Atmosphere is very modern and clean with unique decorations like rolling pin chandeliers above the tables. Such a creative touch! I've been here a couple times and i'm not fan of their gluten free crust. Their regular pizza crust is a delicious, thin and chewy just like an authentic NY style however the gluten free crust is hard like cardboard and tasteless. Since i knew how bad the gluten free crust was from a previous visit i was planning on ordering a salad. I specifically was craving a Caprese Salad and was disappointed to find out that it wasn't even offered on the menu. Many other authentic Italian appetizers were not on the menu as well such as Bruschetta, Fritto Misto, charcuterie, and Arancini. Only 3 pastas are on the menu with one being macaroni and cheese. My other craving was Eggplant Parmesan since a Caprese wasn't an option. Again, not on the menu. Not very authentic as they claim to be on their website, "A Taste of Italy." I decided on ordering the mediterranean salad with Salmon added for protein. The ingredients were very fresh and I really enjoyed the pickled red onions. The lemon vinaigrette dressing was citrusy and flavorful. My date enjoyed his pepperoni Margarita pizza and gobbled it up in record timing. I never sampled his pizza, but the basil looked wilted, shriveled, and burnt. Just a personal preference but i always think adding basil to a Margarita pizza should be done after cooking and not before to taste fresh and keep the color vibrant. Our waitress was friendly and prices are fairly reasonable. Overall, if you're looking for a great place to get pizza (not gluten free), sandwiches, or a salad you will be happy. If you are wanting a great gluten free pizza or authentic Italian cuisine you will disappointed and dissatisfied with their limited menu options.

Anthony D.

Yelp
Excellent Italian food along with sandwiches and salads. Plus, they have a bakery making all of the different pastries, and bread. The location was clean, organized, and the service was perfect. I have tried different items on each visit. The Detroit pizza, Thin pizza, pasta, salads and sandwiches. I don't think you will be disappointed when you order anything on the menu. Everything here is fresh. Prices are reasonable. Finally, I really like the design, and atmosphere of this location.

Yelp
There comes a time that you go to a restaurant for the first time, and you look the menu over, only to find that your favorite comfort food is not listed. This was the case when I visited Crispelli's in Troy the other night. I was disappointed at first but was totally blown away the delicious entrée I ordered. I asked a friend of mine who has the best Italian food in the area, and she said, "Crispellis on Big Beaver Road." So I went there looking forward to a delicious serving of Fettuccini Alfredo, only to find that it's not on the menu. At first, I said what kind of Italian restaurant is this? No Fettucine Alfredo, Ravioli, and Rigatoni! I was thrown off balance by this, so I asked the waitress if they had it, and they said no, we do not serve fettuccini. Feeling dismayed, I looked over the menu and decided to order the "Cedar Plank Salmon Sandwich," with a bowl of New England Clam Chowder. I decided to try the fresh bread that came with the entrée and used it with the clam chowder, which was pretty epic it's own, but the sandwich was totally amazing. The Asian seasoning that is used to cook the salmon, is like a very sweet Teriyaki sauce, then you have the Swiss cheese go with it, the sandwich is top-notch all the way. Likewise, the French-fries are fantastic as well. The wait staff at this location are amazing, and gave great first-rate service. Unlike other locations where I have dined at in the past, were they only come to your table less often than a Blue Moon, and you're debating calling the local police department to file a missing persons report, mostly because they seem to vanish without a trace never to be seen again only when they want you pay the bill. If you're looking for classic Italian food, like what you'll find at Olive Garden, then this is not the place for you. However, if you want to take your taste buds to the next dimension, then you will love Crispelli's to no end. They serve a class act dinning experience, where cutting-edge gourmet food doesn't have be expensive.

Yelp
This has become a family gathering "go to"! Great location for our family scattered from Huntington woods to Rochester hills... and they take reservations!!! No waiting! (And, Open Sunday evenings, a convenient time for family dinner!) Open and airy but still cozy with atmosphere. Not too loud to have a conversation. Menu is simple but still has something for everyone and they happily customize for special diets! Excellent, attentive wait staff. Great full bar. Delicious, tasty, generous portions of fresh, beautifully-prepared food... We celebrated my son's 19th bday with nine of us - two teens ordered their own large drool-inducing pizzas; two adults had alcohol; several salmon dishes; and several desserts.... but the bill was only around $200! That is an unheard of value for 9 people with this super high inflation! Wow!!! So impressed! We will be back! Thank you, Crispelli's for another great family meal and memory!

Yelp
A 1st. Timer. Was told something called epi- bread was great. Placed a carry out order for two loaves. Was great, worked perfect for steak salad I made for a party. Fairly priced- $7 for both.

Bridgette Z.

Yelp
I remember the food being better in the past but we had a carryout order today that was very meh. We ordered the Mediterranean, the shrimp and chorizo, and a custom deep dish pie. The shrimp and chorizo was actually pretty good. The other 2 left a lot to be desired. The chicken on the Mediterranean was just kind of off putting and the pie itself lacked flavor. The custom deep dish was ok, kind of small and not much flavor either. I feel like the food probably tastes better when dining in and i do like their baked goods and breads so maybe i need to give them another shot.

Chris s.

Yelp
Have eaten various menu items from Pizza to sandwiches to pistachio cannoli n have never been more pleased with the quality n taste so was very happy to hear they will be over on the east side very soon

JA N.

Yelp
Got a gift card for this place and took a few friends out to try it. I'm vegan and got the Margherita with vegan cheese, super good! They were fairly fast for both my pizza and my friend's on a busy Saturday night. I will say if you're planning on going on a weekend to make reservations which you can do by phone call, saved me a ton of time. I'll be returning!

David S.

Yelp
I have been here for lunch many times. I normally get the Michigan Salad which I really enjoy. Everything I have ordered has been great. The service is always good.

Katherine S.

Yelp
I'm at Somerset at the new location in the food court. I just ordered a cheese pizza and it is seriously lacking in cheese. Crust has no flavor and it's like eating thin crispy bread with sauce on it. When I order a cheese pizza, I expect it to be cheesy. I ate a tiny bit and it was terrible. Will not finish this because it's gross. Total fail. Plus I watched the team make the pizzas and observed many health code violations. I will not be returning. Very expensive for very poor quality food. I could have got a large Jets for the same price and it's infinitely better than this bougie imitation. Plus the guy boxing up my pizza was rude and clearly was not happy to work there. Overall a very poor experience.

Zainab M.

Yelp
by far my favorite pizza place in oakland county! pizza is a nice thin consistency so it's not too heavy at all. easy go-to for me and my friends because it's just always been so good. the apps and salads are great too. service is always fantastic, the people working there are always so sweet and give the best recommendations! love the space because it's great for a small group, but works out perfectly for larger groups as well! always look forward to going

Scott M.

Yelp
My partner and I recently visited this location for dinner after an especially stressful work week. Our appetizer took a while to arrive, and we later learned there was an issue with the ticket printer, causing the kitchen to miss our order. The server offered us a free round of drinks, but we declined as it was an honest mistake and we didn't think that was necessary. The meal was delicious with generous portions, especially for the chicken parm! When the check came, the server had comped the appetizer AND discounted the remaining tab. This was completely unexpected, especially in a post-COVID environment. Crispelli's went above and beyond in recovering from a minor service blunder, which is basically unheard of these days. Thank you, Crispelli's -- We'll definitely be visiting again!

Carl H.

Yelp
Waited over 20 minutes for service before talking to two different servers. Still did not get anyone to the table. Finally went to the front and talked to a manager. He finally served us. Waitress staff were unfriendly and not over busy. Food was good once received. Manager did a fantastic job picking up the slack from a poor wait staff.

Deanna D.

Yelp
Amazing food, drinks and service. I am so happy my friend asked me to try this delicious place out. We ordered the antipasto salad (sorry I forgot to take a pic... very good). The garlic bread and roll (I forget the name of of it, sooo good like a salt bagel almost but in a roll) were a nice add on too. We also ordered the large pepperoni pizza thin crust. It wasn't really thin which I I loved. Our drinks were perfectly made and I can't wait to go back again. I've already told three others to go.

Nancy J.

Yelp
If I could give it zero stars I would! The food took 40 minutes to start coming. We just ordered sandwiches and salad. My sandwich was ice cold (supposed to be toasted) and it was all bread with very little filling. I ordered coffee and it was room temperature. The food came sporadically. Some of our party was finished before others even got their food. The place wasn't even that busy when we ordered!

Aeryn W.

Yelp
We really wanted to like this place. Ordered take out tonight and it took 2x longer than what their estimate said. That's fine, understand things happen. But both pizzas were burnt, dry as all get out and flavorless. My husband and son will eat any type of pizza and they were struggling to finish one piece. The prices reflect a place that should put more thought into their dishes. I'm hoping this was maybe a fluke. However, still regretting the money spent and time wasted.

Alesa W.

Yelp
I haven't been to the actual restaurant to eat but my friend ordered in for us and omg the food was so good! The pizza, crispy, chewy and hot and the salad was tangy-had beets in it! Omg it was so good! My plan is to definitely come back and try it at the actual restaurant.

Kaylee C.

Yelp
This is a true Italian style pizza: thinner, light on the cheese, artisanal. I would love to try their pasta, I would imagine it would be right up my alley. If you like a lighter pizza, this is definitely the spot. It isn't a 5 star for me, and I can't put my finger on why. I feel that Michigan has some exceptional pizza and is underrated for their pizza scene. Crispelli's is good, but it feels mid when you have so many great pizza options. It's a favorite pizza spot of a dear friend, so maybe I will change my mind, but for me it's a respectable 4 star. I'll change this review to 5 if I get the opportunity to fall in love with their pasta.

Nicole E.

Yelp
Wish you could watch the pizzas being made from your seat. We were seated after a couple of minutes. Looked in at the bar and the bartender flagged someone to seat us. Menu and water at the table. No one is quick to take our order. Hannah is waiting on us tonight and seated us as well. Ordered a family sized Mediterranean salad with rosemary chicken, a bowl of tomato bisque and a small GF crust wild mushroom pizza. $46.48. The tomato bisque is quite watery here. It's not creamy or thick at all. It tastes like it's just tomatoes in it and tastes like any generic tomato soup. The slice of seasoned parm toast is decent though. The family Mediterranean salad is pretty good. The rosemary chicken is not warm, but it's not bad. The size was on a big plate, enough for us to share. Some yellow peppers would make this Mediterranean more Greekesque for me. Still not bad overall. Their GF crust is hard like cardboard, not chewy at all, almost not edible. The wild mushrooms weren't too bad. The cheese oddly enough the cheese is super thick and not ooey or gooey as expected, had more of the thickness and texture of caulk. The Mediterranean salad with the rosemary chicken and their crispy parm seasoned bread is their better items here.

Lynn H.

Yelp
Hubby and I stopped in here for dinner after shopping at Somerset and we were hungry. The service was quick, efficient, and friendly. We opted to split a Detroit deep dish with bacon and shrimp. It was pretty darn good.

Sid Q.

Yelp
Pizza had no cheese nor sauce. I asked for light cheese. Not no cheese lol. And the toppings were so few its incredibly bland. Can't believe it's the same place that I used to go to so frequently before. Temperature wise, I don't think this will do well for a take out. Because by the time it got to my door, the pizza was dry.

Smoth L.

Yelp
Waited at the hostess stand for a long time and the sign said "Wait to be Seated." No one came to greet us to seat us. A waitress and bus girl passed us three times and didn't even acknowledge us, so we just left. Not coming back here, bad customer service. The restaurant wasn't even busy at that time, either.

Vivian H.

Yelp
Came here for the first time and wasn't disappointed! They have a wood fire oven and you can see the people making the pizzas. The crust had a good crisp and the toppings were pretty tasty. The old fashioned didn't have my favorite cherries (the classic ones that go in old fashioneds), but still good nonetheless.

kristen S.

Yelp
The pizza is the best thing here. The ceasar salad is meh. Crispelli salad is better. The thing that threw me off was the bathrooms were absolutly disgusting and it's gender neutral so I don't want to put down the seat and step in pee.

Kerri B.

Yelp
Delish! The pizza never disappoints. We often get takeout and dine in sometimes too. Love that the thin and deep dish both taste great.

Jordan S.

Yelp
We are looking for a pizza place that had cheese bread in the local area and Stengle are Hondas place. First off the decor inside is fantastic and you can watch that make the pizza as well as cook it in their large fire up the food was fantastic. The desserts for also quite good. I enjoyed the shrimp and chorizo pizza which was fresh and unique. Wife had spaghetti and the meatballs were top notch. Cheese bread was on point. Chocolate mousse was excellent! Highly recommend.

Xhesika S.

Yelp
I still have mixed feelings about this place. The service is average. Our waitress really didn't seem like she wanted to work towards the beginning. I think she was pissed we sat outside but not our fault lol. She didn't even bring a notebook to write down our order which is fine if you're going to remember the order but she came back after 5 sec to ask us again what we ordered like write it down then.... She brought us the salad with a soup spoon and a desert spoon. I guess this is what we were supposed to mix our salad with. She did check on us constantly and was nice but just lazy. The food again is average. Not anything wow this time around. The salad and soup were super good. However, our pizza toppings were falling off which is annoying bc I don't want to eat bread with sauce. The panini is good but not anything special. The cheese was not melted at all. Not sure if I'll be coming back which is sad because I used to love this place.

Madison W.

Yelp
The gluten free Margherita pizza is so tasty. The ranch is phenomenal. My boyfriend had the Detroit deep dish and said it's better than buddy's pizza. Wow! It's more of a casual environment than I expected but we definitely plan on coming back!

Troy K.

Yelp
As always the pizza is amazing. It was lunch time so it was very quiet in the restaurant service was great.

Elaine S.

Yelp
We reserved the patio at the Troy location for a party of 18 a couple of weeks in advance. We had checked it out - it was not fancy, but it offered a nice, private location and it was comfortable. The manager said they usually book only one party there, so it would be more private than the dining area. The manager said she would call me to confirm our reservation prior to the event, and she added our reservation to her book. No one called, so I called a day prior to the event to confirm, and they said we were all set. We showed up a half hour early to make sure everything was set up. The patio had no AC going! The door was shut from the main restaurant and the outside windows were open! It was actually hotter there than the 90+ degree weather outside. (Seriously, probably 95 degrees inside!!) We asked for the manager, and he just says, "looks like we have a problem". The whole time we were polite - he made no apologies; and he had a smart-a$$ tone the whole time. His solution was to make everyone in my party wait for two hours from the reservation time and maybe the other party would leave, but he wouldn't guarantee it. I said that is unacceptable and 95+ degrees is unacceptable! He just walked away!!! Never have I been treated so poorly - EVER!!! If I were the manager, I would have apologized and tried to find another venue for the group, even another restaurant. (Or maybe just turn the AC on in the patio!!!) I called Loccino's Italian Grill in Troy, and they accommodated us, literally, at a moment's notice. Waiters Vinnie and David provided EXCELLENT FOOD AND SERVICE. CRISPELLI'S SHOULD EAT AT LOCCINO'S SO THEY CAN LEARN HOW AN EXCELLENT RESTAURANT OPERATES!!! We will NEVER go back to Crispelli's!!!

Jennifer B.

Yelp
Delicious vegan pizza. The deep dish build your own is my favorite. The Crispelli house salad is excellent too. Comes with chickpeas, carrots, black olives, cucumbers. We hold the cheese. The tiramisu is authentic and delicious, but not vegan. Service is hit or miss. We have a favorite server, but I need to get her name. Sometimes you'll get a bread basket (which is fantastic), sometimes you have to ask. It should be free with entrees, but today we were charged. Not cool.

Shonna R.

Yelp
Just there again the other day! The pizza was SO amazing! Make sure to get some of that amazing garlic toast!! oh my gosh! Service ..... needs to improve. * FYI ....Almost forgot... also ordered a salad there wasn't enough dressing on it. And we were charged .50 for it. That really didn't set right with us.

Leah G.

Yelp
Had a reservation on a Friday night and we were seated immediately upon arrival. It wasn't very busy at all so walk ins were being seated fast too. Our meal was paced nicely and the portions were thoughtful. Our server was on it with her own mocktail creations. I recommend the white pie if you love garlic, it has huge cloves in it and was fantastic.

Yelp
I was amazed that they didn't have more customers, but with people working at home instead of all the office buildings might be the reason. Came with a Happy Hour Meetup group. Limited to 10 by the restaurant and had 2 tables reserved for us. We sat in the covered patio area with all tables socially distanced. Pizzas were half priced along with some adult drinks. I ordered a large thin crust pizza with extra sauce, ham and pineapple - my normal. Arrived quickly and smelled as good as it tasted. Others also ordered pizza and enjoyed theirs also. A late comer ordered steak tips and those also looked and smelled good. Had diet Coke, but limited dessert menu so I got a chocolate chip cookie to go. It was huge. Service was typical with the server checking on us every 10 or 15 minutes after our orders was taken. Pizza tasted just has good warmed up in my toaster oven. I got 4 meals from that pizza. I will come back if the Meetup group does, but will visit the one closer to my house.

Yelp
I don't even live in the area but I will travel far to pick up a Crispellis extra pepperoni pizza with their delicious ranch. YUMM. Service is fine and it's definitely family friendly. I would say it's great for a group given their large portions. Also food for date night because there's a cozy and homey ambiance about the restaurant. Their cheesy bread is also delicious and I haven't had a salad there that I did not absolutely love! I have zero complaints about Crispellis and look forward to our next pizza!

Yelp
Out of towner here, dinner last night was excellent. Meatball appetizer and a 15" red pie. As always good pizzas need a great foundation and this crust was excellent as were the toppings, sauce, and cheese. Took back to the hotel with the dinner leftovers, two cannolis, a vanilla cheesecake, and a tiramisu. All were excellent and we shared them all and have some left to enjoy after this show later tonight. Forgot to ask if the desserts were homemade, but since they have a bakery location I'll assume they were because they tasted so. Wonderful place, good service, friendly people. Was in town for four days and wishing we ate there earlier in our stay because we would have ate there a second time. Will keep this place in mind when making a return trip to the Detroit area.

Yelp
First impressions count! This is a stylish, comfortable and very clean spot. Love that people are dressed from casual to a little dressier and all feel totally appropriate. We tried three thin crust pizzas: artichoke, spinach & prosciutto, and mushroom. We liked all three but the spinach & prosciutto was a big hit! They do a thin crust just right. They offer outdoor dining in a covered area, perfect for summer. Definitely a place to hit up for great pizza, cocktails, desserts and more.

Yelp
What kinda of worthless company shuts down the bar for a private party on a Saturday..... screw every other customer and make them wait for 40 mins plus with zero bar service.... What a stupid stupid plan... no liquor sales from our table.. So glad someone else paid, I will never return. F

Yelp
Two words for this pizza: nom nom! Great lunch option, can't wait to go back and try some of the other pizza choices and salads!

Yelp
My family met at the Troy location to celebrate a birthday. The first impressions were of the building and surrounding weeds and lack of care for the establishment. I'm surprised a city like Troy doesn't have ordinances for appearance. It looked like an abandoned building There were 2 pitiful benches along the entry door that were ready for the dumpster. Our server Alex was good and attentive. The menu was paper and had a quarter of what the website had. The soups were all overly salty. The family size Michigan salad had tasteless poached apples and pears come on this is Michigan in September how about fresh cut apples. The salad was returned also because the bacon was flabby and not crispy. Overall very disappointing.

Yelp
As a TransPlant from New Jersey, I heard stories of every michigan native having #BoscoSticks for school lunches. And now, i am a firm believer. It's almost like eating only the crust of a stuffed crust pizza. It was oddly satisfying. And oh, btw,, the #MargheritaPizza is also two thumbs up good. Their #Meatballs , sublime! Thank you so much for reading my review. I hope this helps with your decision making experience. Enjoy your awesome yelptastic day!!!

Yelp
I was visiting my brother in Royal Oak for the week and he starves me and leaves me to fend for myself. Luckily I had a rental car and was able to escape from the castle's tower. He mentioned there was an outpost of Crispelli's that was more like a sit down spot than the one by him so I found it. Whew! I gorged! They had burrata and that's basically my favorite thing so I started with the burrata heirloom tomato salad and a side of meatballs. Is there a reason more people aren't making spicy meatballs? Exquisite. For my actual lunch, I had the BLT and it was awesome. Next time my brother invites me to visit (he never invites me) I'll be back
