Incredibly generous portions! I’ve only ever tried their pizzas 🍕 before and love them, but was craving a steak 🥩 and cheese 🧀 and am happy to say that the sub 🥖was full of beef and it was surprisingly juicy. I wouldn’t say the fries 🍟 are “spicy” exactly, but they do have spices on them, some paprika and black pepper, and they tasted great so not complaining. I was worried because of how expensive the fries were but they came in a huge container so was definitely worth the cost. Excited to go back and try more things off their menu now!

Went with the manager's recommendation - bacon chicken slice - and was blown away!! Thin and crispy dough, just like the name of the place, and perfectly balanced seasoning. It was a huge slice too... happily full 😀 The staff was extremely friendly as well. Learned that the supermarket a few doors down was also theirs. Got myself some yummy baklava for dessert. Day complete 😆

I rarely leave negative reviews but felt I have to here. I walked in about 630pm during the week bc I wanted a slice of pizza and was near this location. It was my first time here When I walked in the pizzeria, it looked dingy, dark and hot. I ordered a slice of pizza, hesitated to sit down to wait for it bc the tables were dirty and not even 1 minute of me sitting I saw a MOUSE scurry past my feet!!! I almost wanted to throw up. Right there I got up and left. I hope they definitely address these issues and don't plan on returning.

Google
Stopped in for lunch and they had 10 different pizza offerings for slices! Had the honey chicken and it was great. Thin pizza that lets the toppings be main taste. Definitely add Crispy to your lunch list.

Google

Google
Ask for steak tip dinner the steak was burnt the fries hard. Then I called them to tell them about the meat they ask me to send the meat back. Any other restaurant wouldn’t even do that bad customer service. Do not recommend

Crispy Dough Pizzeria is hands down the best non-cheese pizza I have ever eaten in my life. This is not an exaggeration. The top seller is obviously the buffalo chicken pizza. It does not have tomato sauce. The buffalo chicken is light on buffalo sauce, and the pizza is drizzled with ranch to balance it out. The crust is thin and crispy. That first bite of the buffalo chicken pizza is something I still remember to this day. It is obviously best eaten fresh, or it definitely loses a little something the next day. Aside from the buffalo, my family and I really like the crispy honey. It also has no sauce and has a great blend of sweetness from the honey mustard and a good tang from the banana peppers. For those who love BBQ sauce, their BBQ chicken pizza is a great choice. Their chicken tenders are huge, cooked fresh, and are actual pieces of chicken. The wings are also great and cooked fresh as well. Their steak and cheese is top 2 in Boston for me. I order mine with mayo, onions and peppers. My wife adds jalapenos. I have to adjust the distribution of steak towards the edges, but that's really just a personal preference. Anyone who comes to visit Boston, I take them to Crispy Dough and everyone has been amazed. You cannot get this style of pizza anywhere else. It is saved in my favorites on my Google Maps along with Home and Work. I have taken this pizza to Canada for my in-laws. It is that good.

Google
Excellent customer service, I got a complimentary slice of bread with my salad! I always love the pizza by the slice selection at Crispy Dough! They also host the best networking events, birthday parities, and after work happy hours! Please open up more locations!!

Yelp
The friendliest staff and the MOST delicious pizzas for real. They truly live up to their name crispy freaking dough. Many pizzerias could not call themselves "crispy dough" but this place is it. you should get the crispy honey pizza it is unbelievable.

Yelp
went here to escape a party, ordered buff chicken slice because a friend recommended. PHENOMENAL. did all the right things. $8 for 2 slices was a steal #godblessamerica (go army beat navy). building was a sauna, didn't need the detox but thanks i guess. took it to go cuz like why would i sit at those tables tho? literally only improvement: clean tables. i will happily be bringing my 4 kids (gingers) #picky #theydontgetoutmuch. made my night so superb, although i was in fact twisted to the point of no return and thought i was going to throw it up. 5 stars cuz it stayed in my stomach. #gome #roughnight #MYchristmassbest very respectfully, fat mom

Yelp
This spot used to be so good! There Buffalo chicken pizza and Buffalo chicken wings are amazing. However, my maintain problem is with the staff and language. Crispy dough claims it is halal, yet they sell pork items there (pepperoni and bacon). Secondly, the staff are rude and not accommodating at all. Lastly, the tables are never clean and always dirty with crumbs and sauces. It is very upsetting since this was a staple for Muslims in the area but now they favor international students and white folks.

Yelp
4$ for a giant slice of buffalo chicken pizza is hard to beat. The pizza was fresh and delicious. The crust was the perfect balance of crispness and chewiness. I love ranch and really liked that a reasonable amount of ranch was on the pizza. I will be going back.

Kaylah M.

Yelp
great pizza great chicken tenders. And they're chicken bacon ranch omggg. I definitely recommend 10/10

Yelp
Update on this place, chicken parm for this was very good. Step above other places as the bread was fresh and soft, filling was a good amount and tasty, seasoned well!
google avatar

Maryam M.

Yelp
Tried their marinated chicken pizza. Pizza was just okay, the chicken wasn't very flavorful, cheese wasn't enough. Nothing I would come back for or try again. (Though it was halal) The wings still remain my favorite thing at this location! Would love if they can bake instead of deep fry, but on a cold rainy day they're simply the perfect treat!

Yelp
Quick stop for a quick snack since who knows how long it's going to be until dinner time. They had a half dozen or so pies already made and I chose the Hawaiian, which the young lady put in the over for a few minutes before bringing it to my table. It's not a fancy restaurant but the thin crust pizza is tasty and the service is good.

Walter L.

Yelp
Good quality of food and service and also it is not to far from where I live. The famous bacon chicken ranch pizza is the best

Sarina W.

Yelp
Great tasting food! Ordered the chicken Alfredo pasta and it came quick and hot!!! Fast service

Javad G.

Yelp
Absolutely the best pizza (especially crust) in the whole Boston area. We were just walking by a me stopped in to grab a slice, very friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Turns out all their food is halal which was awesome.
google avatar

Nick K.

Yelp
Crispy dough is honestly just eh pizza, but they're super convenient for late night slices on the hill. I wouldn't seek out Crispy, but there have been plenty of nights where I was grateful they were open
google avatar

Yelp
The pizza here is simply fantastic! I got a slice of pepperoni and I gotta say that it is one of the best slices of pizza I ever had! The cheese was the perfect texture and tasted fantastic. There wasn't too much sauce which I think is good because if there is too much sauce, it doesn't let you taste the flavor of the pizza itself. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

Yelp
To say my experience this evening was a colossal disappointment is an understatement. I placed an order for a medium meat lovers pizza and added $12 worth of extra toppings--hamburger, bacon, basil, and mozzarella. I also asked for my pizza to be cooked well done. What arrived at my door was a pale crusted pie with barely enough meat to be considered a meat lovers let alone justify an extra $12 on top of the original price.

Yelp
If you like to gamble , this is the place for you! My first experience here was great , but my second was very disappointing.

Yelp
One of the best halal buffalo chicken slices I've had. The slice lives up to the "crispy dough" name. The flavors are all there and the slices are some of the largest I've seen for the price. Definitely recommend if you're in the mood for an excellent buffalo chicken slice. The other slice that was really good was the bacon chicken ranch. The BBQ chicken wasn't so great, didn't enjoy the big pieces of tomato all over the slice. Ambience is pretty weak with a few tables and chairs, but staff was friendly. Overall, a typical local pizzeria that has executed very well with certain slices!

Yelp
Currently eating a fine slice of buffalo chicken pizza - only problem is how long it took to get it. Walk in and decide, "ya know what - I'll get a pie instead of a few slices" bold move - high risk - and it bit me! So a guy in front of me is picking up 2 of the same buffalo chicken pizzas, only Crispy Dough made 1 instead of 2, so before they start to make his missing pie, they take my order - an identical Buff chick pizza. Now that guy left 15 minutes before I did. I absolutely understand rushing to make his first, but seeing as I was the very next order, I was figuring I'd, you know, leave without spending 30 minutes for a single pizza waiting? THE KICKER: noticing I'd been there without having made my pie, the man assures me just a moment more - at which time I get a little wary to him taking it out of the oven early - leaving me with a underdone, doughy pie. He did exactly that. He had the best of intentions but compromised the one thing I care about - how good is the pizza. I asked him to throw it in for another minute which they gladly did. And I'm enjoying the pie... but boy was that a TRIP to get here.

Yelp
1.) Intro: This place is next to a friend's place. So whenever we are hanging out, which is typically a group of us, I always think of a great crowd pleaser, and that is pizza! I believe Pizza is the boy/girl friend of Parties. They just go well together :) 2.) The PIZZA: I always test a pizza place by its pizza base, and here is the criteria: a.) Let's start with an original/regular pizza - tomato sauce, cheese, dough and the usual suspects of seasonings. Does a restaurant's regular/original pizza taste good overall? Broken down into components.... b.) How's the dough? Overcooked, undercooked or just right? c.) How's the sauce? Overly salty, super citrusy, too sweet, watery or just right? d.) How's the cheese? Is it cheap cheese, okay cheese or high quality? 3.) My synopsis: I believe the pizza is pretty good. Maybe for Boston (Mission Hill) standards. I mean, I am originally from New York, so my standards are high, but they do a decent job making a New York style pizza. Maybe due to the area, with college students living rampant, therefore many large groups of people hanging out, partying and ravenous for pizza, the staff are full of high energy cranking out pizza. So you can always either get a fresh slice or an even fresher pizza pie. Hey, if a business states "Company XYZ.......Pizza" that's where I am going to check out first......its pizza! I do not try their Sicilians, salads, wings or anything else, although I have had their Philly Cheese sandwich, and I thought it was okay. But I really think they have pretty decent pizza. 4.) Hours/Environment: They are open late night. There are a couple seats for your pleasure, but I am typically in and out with a pick up. Sometimes it's a little cramped to want to be in there for so long. They seem to be open extremely late, but they typically close at 2am. 5.) Staff: They seem to cook pretty fast, and the customer service has been positive, courteous, professional. Full of great energy. There are typically 3 guys working - 2 cooking and 1 at the register. 6.) Conclusion: I normally get a slice, but if it's a group thing, I will get their whole pizza pie. They have many great slices - buffalo chicken pizza, amongst the many types. Delicious delicious!

Yelp
Food is crap. Meatlovers pizza and the chicken added to salad was not good. Try somewhere else.
google avatar

Tami B.

Yelp
Heads up that NO member of their staff (cooks or cashier) was wearing a mask (not like they forgot to put it up, they didn't even have one on their face) when we went to pick up food!! As good as the food may have been, we couldn't eat it, given the total negligence of this establishment.
google avatar

Yelp
I used to live close by here and I really miss their buffalo chicken slices! Most other slices are good too but the buff chic is easily the best item here. The slices are bigger than average, price is below average and the quality was one of the best I've experienced here in Boston (and I've had a lot of pizza here over the years!). The trick to this place is to either call ahead with an order for anything of one pie or more or to just accept whatever slices they have available at the time you walk in. Also don't expect restaurant-type service from this place! This isn't the place for that and I've seen a party come in expecting that only to be very disappointed by the "lack of service" from a takeout place. Finally, it should go without saying that the pizza isn't the most healthy option as it's rather greasy and filling. Then again if you care so much about that why are you ordering from a pizza joint??

Richele M.

Yelp
This place should really change their name as it is very miss leading. Spent $42 on pizza delivery for the soggiest pizza I have ever had.

Yelp
I went on a date with this guy and he said do you wanna have pizza... for a first date I was like sure... he took me here... that was 3 hrs ago... we still come here to eat like it was our first time... the pizza is exceptional...

Yelp
Dropped by just before 11pm. Service was good, also best pizza I've had in a long time. Bathroom could've been cleaner (but came In at a late time) Definetly a chill to-go late night pizza place
google avatar

Yelp
If it wasn't for a voucher deal, I would never had realized that this place existed. It is sort of across the street from the church where Ted Kennedy's funeral service was held. They probably do more of a take-out service than a sit down business despite the flat screen on the wall as they only have 4 tables for 4 in the dining area and 2 taller tables for 2 set by the windows. They are currently out of many of the juices they have listed on their menu, but the service was pleasant and my pizza came out quickly enough. The Sweet BBQ Pizza (L: $16.29), Mozzarella cheese, BBQ chicken and caramelized onions, was thin crust, with tender cubes of chicken. 3.5 stars, but I'll round up to 4 cause of the service.
google avatar

Salman Z.

Yelp
This is one of the best pizzas ive ever had. Buffalo chicken and chicken ranch. Both pizzas are amazing. Recommended and 5 star.
google avatar

Nguyen T.

Yelp
Neighborhood pizza shop that offers food at cheap prices. You won't find any quality here but the quantity is there. Their menu says they can make any pizza into calzones but denied being able to make a meat lovers calzone. The calzone itself was decent, very doughy. The calzone was very floppy and fell apart after the first bite. Overall, the calzone did its job. Would recommend if you're looking for quantity.
google avatar

Shaoyu Y.

Yelp
The food is mediocre. I waited to almost an hour just to get their meat lover, which doesn't worth the wait at all. The price is fair and their pizzas are really big. They cannot guarantee the taste, but they can certainly guarantee you feel full. The environment needs an improvement.
google avatar

Emily M.

Yelp
I really like their pizza. If I was rating on pizza alone it would be maybe four stars. But they ALWAYS deliver it cold. I am sick of this. I even told the driver last time "you need to use hot bags!!" He said, it's hot it's hot. It was not. It was cold. And one time it was not even cut. Do better, guys.

Nicole B.

Yelp
Blue Buffalo Pizza with ranch. By far the best buffalo chicken pizza I've ever had!!! Thanks Crispy Dough!
google avatar

Jason S.

Yelp
Crispy Dough Pizzeria is just terrific. Reasonable rates for the area. Fantastic menu and outstanding BBQ Chicken Pizza. Bonus that their service is so awesome, they are so swift and helpful. But that's just me.
google avatar

Adam A.

Yelp
I have always said that when it comes to pizza, there is an 80-10-10 rule. That is, 80% of pizzas are mediocre but somewhat enjoyable nonetheless (a decent pizza is hard to mess up), 10% are awful and honestly require a reasonable amount of effort to make so poorly, and 10% are exceptionally well-made and good-tasting. Make no mistake, Crispy Dough is a pizzeria that makes pizzas of that last category. Their dough is so perfectly crispy, their portions so generous, and their atmosphere so relaxing. Prices are extremely fair for Boston. I have yet to eat anything there that did not exceed my expectations and leave me craving for more. At this point, I find myself stopping by and getting a slice of buffalo chicken pizza or getting some chicken ziti alfredo even when I'm not hungry. It really is that good. The location is great as well; they are easily accessible by orange line, green line, and busses. They are also rather close to the Colleges of the Fenway and accept Fenway Cash. Definitely give this place a visit, it won't be your last.

Rashid K.

Yelp
If you want to have a great (unusual pizza) go here Tons of choices The dough is just the right amount of crispy Amazing

Calem R.

Yelp
crispy dough is meditative. it grounds you. thank god saturday nights are technically sunday mornings because i worship crispy dough on the sabbath. God is real and he's eating a buffalo chicken slizzle from my boys at CD

T H.

Yelp
Went here today got overcharged for 2 below average slices then the young kid behind the counter blast this awful music on his cellphone. I've left 3 different reviews for this place over the last 6 years and the only thing consistent about this place is they are really inconsistent. The service once the young Spanish girl left went from good to average to below average. The food is nothing to brag about as the slices are very bad. With so many better options for pizza in the area not to mention halal foods there really is no reason for me to come here anymore. A real pizza place should teach them how to run their place.
google avatar

Hannah R.

Yelp
Perfect if you want a quick dinner! I got the 5 cheese. It was good but the pizza was a little hard and dry. The price was nice so that's a plus on a tight budget but it wasn't the best pizza ever eaten!

Yelp
We tried Crispy Dough this week for a small work luncheon and were very happy. They didn't have our house catering account set up yet when we went to order, but asked me to call the day of to confirm just in case (which I did), and things went off without a hitch from there. The delivery guys were right on time, calling beforehand to confirm our address, and they were really friendly. The Crispy's Special was delicious and went quickly, and the Mission Hill was chock full of tasty veggies and was also pretty popular. However, I wasn't thrilled with the plain cheese, I think it needed more cheese or flavor or something, and next time would go with a Margarita instead. I liked how the pizzas had more than 8 slices, that was really helpful for our group of 14 to be able to try them all. I'm a big fan of their crust, it's thin and slightly sweet and cooked to perfection, and I was able to eat a lot without feeling gross/stuffed. [Update: their BBQ chicken is amazing too, as is their apple cinnamon.] We also got a salad platter for 10 (standard garden salad, although they didn't give us tongs so it was a bit hard to maneuver) and a chocolate strawberry dessert pizza which was good but I wish there were more chocolate (a base of chocolate instead of gobs scattered everywhere). On the plus side, they cut it into a billion tiny slices which was handy, and the folks at Crispy Dough even called beforehand to let me know the chocolate they were using contained hazelnuts in case we had any allergies (very considerate!). They also gave us cups/plates/cutlery which was handy. All in all, I found the Crispy Dough staff to be pleasant and reliable, and the food to be pretty tasty. We'll be ordering from them again for sure. [UPDATE: their delivery sometimes sucks... they were once an HOUR late for a work luncheon and didn't really apologize. Most of the time they're OK, but be very wary.] Unrelated note: really not feeling the scripture quotes at the back of the take-out menu. They're small enough, but come on, I don't need a side of scripture with my pizza. Keep it in church where it belongs. Total turn off.

Yelp
I'm actually from Kansas, but I usually come to Boston to visit my sister and this is a frequent stop after we spend time at ISBCC. It's a quick come-and-go atmosphere, they'll hand you your order and paper plates, drinks are available in the fridge. The Buffalo Chicken pizza is a solid item off the menu to try out, in fact that's usually all we order each visit. Truthfully my sister has an emotional attachment to these slices of pizza, so that's definitely saying something!
google avatar

Dan A.

Yelp
Never EVER order pizza here, that is, if you're looking for a good pizza and good service. They said it would be 20 min, after calling back 40 min later, they claimed they are waiting for their driver to get back...after an hour we call again and they say the same thing -we ask for a refund and apparently their manager isn't there so our order can't be cancelled- 1 hour and 30min, we call back again and ask them to make another pizza since ours has been "ready" for 1 hour and ten Minutes at this point..they agree...then 5 minutes later our COLD, disgusting pizza shows up. Oh, and it's in an inside out Il Mundo's pizza box...Way to totally taunt us for not ordering delicious il Mundo instead of this garbage..I couldve bought a better tasting pizza for 5 dollars at a convenient store. Worst pizza and service ever. *Update- after 3 days of trying to reach the manager, I was successful in obtaining a refund from her. She was very undertanding and apologetic for the horrible service received.
google avatar

Andrea R.

Yelp
You guys fucking suck. Waited a hiur and half for my food, never received it and when I called the perosn who answered was very fucking dismissive and rude. You guys need to be shut down because this is absolutely fucking unacceptable. And Mind you here Im starving and waiting for the food to arrive. If it was uo to my rating system, Id throw rotten tomatoes all over your restaurant and staff and then fure you all simply because you guys suck ass and I was treated very very very goddamm poorly
google avatar

Kimber K.

Yelp
Excellent pizza with relatively quick delivery. The crust is incredible and the meatballs were amazing.
google avatar

Barbara M.

Yelp
Amazing Pizza I have to say we are here visiting from California and we don't have east coast style pizza and I have to say I wish we did. This was amazing my family was all raving about this pizza.
google avatar

Beau M.

Yelp
Terrible! Pizza came ruined, sub tasted disgusting, took an hour and a half. Stay away.
google avatar

Clayton A.

Yelp
Pizza is really good! Lady that answers the phone and works the front register is extremely rude and acts like she doesn't want to be bothered!
google avatar

Ryan P.

Yelp
You would think they would learn from their reviews. But i got take out pizza, walked home for 3 mins maybe and the pizza was cold when i got home. Heat your pizza more. It was tasty after i microwaved it but 3 mins is an absurd time to cool a pizza down so i refuse to believe they properly reheated it.

F H.

Yelp
The pizzas are good. My recommendations are the buffalo chicken, pepperoni, and the bbq chicken. The philly cheesesteak is awesome but.... (see below) the service requires a total revamp. There is this small Indian dude who firstly doesn't communicate well and secondly needs a class on service to customers. I would come here again if the owner looks seriously into how their employees talk to customers. I have also called once to place an order for pickup. Again, not even a Hi on the phone. Called back to ask about whether the pizza is ready and got reprimanded that you said you will collect at this time, so yes it will be ready, just come. I felt really upset as I was just asking a genuine question as I was driving off from work and wanted to make sure the pizza was ready as time was not on my side. My suggestion is to have trained employees with good customer service to mend the cashier and to answer phone calls and have those that are just good with making pizzas (but not good with customers) to just be in the kitchen. It will also increase the tips.

Nadia S.

Yelp
Can there be minus stars!! The Unbelievably obnoxious attitude from the person who handles the phone delivery He was literally YELLing at me after he made me wait on hold as he finished two orders! I was giving him the credit card number and God forbid a number was mistaken and he had to experience patience for a millisecond as i confirmed the cc number. All through my order he was not listening to my questions, and legitimately choosing my order "take chicken chicken is good"!!!!! And by the way this has happened twice! And let me tell you this, your place might serve be halal but your morals and attitudes is haram and i feel partially ashamed u represent my culture. I'll tell you something i know you would get. ( alddeeen almoamalah) (wakhaleq alnas bekhuluqn hasan; treat people well), and those people (alnas) are not your guests you're hosting as a favor, they are your customers, you are providing a service to them in return to their paid money, so lets start by not yelling, and advising your staff to observe better manners and professionalism.

Shawn M.

Yelp
Over priced and 3 hairs on top of the Pizza. Just nasty. FYI the dough isn't even crispy!

T. A.

Yelp
I don't get the negative reviews here, but I rate this place 5 stars! We tried the buffalo chicken calzone buffalo chicken pizza, and spicy fries with cheese. Absolutely amazing service and food (we were served by a younger man with dark hair, he was awesome!). I will definitely be coming here again.
