"The Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb is a splendid neo-Baroque building, opened in 1895 and designed by Viennese architects Ferdinand Fellner and Herman Helmer. It hosts the country's ballet, opera, and theatre companies." - Annalisa Leopolda Cavaleri

The concert was truly incredible! The performance was flawless, and the energy and emotion you conveyed to the audience were priceless. Thank you for an unforgettable evening and a musical experience that will stay in our memories for a long time.

The building is in pretty rough shape. Cracks from the 2020 earthquake are still visible after four years, the last renovation was in the 60s. The tour lasts an hour and costs €12, which feels steep given the condition of the theater. Many chandelier bulbs are out, so you’ll miss its splendor. If you buy tickets for a performance, be cautious about seat selection; many seats have poor views of the stage since in my opinion it was designed more for socializing and seeing the emperor back in the days rather than for good sight lines of the show. The drama performances aren’t translated into English or any other language. If you’re not a big theater fan, the tour might not be worth it.

Charming building that serves as the host for a variety of events throughout the year in Zagreb. It’s also a nice place to just sit at the park benches and soak in the scenery.

Well, I saw it only externally but I think it's one of the most beautiful buildings of the city. First of all it is really a beautiful building, even if its colour isn't magnificent but the garden around makes it really very beautiful! Surely the inside must also be very beautiful, even if I don't think there is the possibility to visit it with a guided tour
