The food was just meh. There was no cheese in my omelet so that was a huge let down. My side of grits was very tiny and just one slice of toast. Those tasted the best so I was said I didn't have more. My one kiddo got the flapjacks and was not a fan. They are huge and more like a cornbread consistency. As an adult I enjoyed the bite I had, but can totally understand a kid not liking them. My husband got the pigs in a blanket and liked it. The scrambled eggs were very crumbly and hard to eat. Overall the experience was just ok. Really dont understand the hour wait time/popularity. The decor was great but it was loud, crammed, and just ok food. Definitely a tourist trap (but isnt all of Gatlinburg?)

This place was top notch. Joined the waiting list from website, arrived within the suggested time frame on a very busy Christmas morning. Our party of 6 was seated within 20 minutes of our check in, which was not bad at all considering how busy they were. Service was quick and friendly, and the food was amazing!! My kids and I all got pancakes, none of us finished them. My husband loved his French Toast and my MIL and BIL each had omelettes. Everyone was very pleased with the food. We also split a giant cinnamon roll, which was also fresh and tasty. 10/10 highly recommend.

Overall a wonderful experience. The atmosphere stays true to their rustic old-time vibe. The staff and food was exceptionally good. Our waitress was super friendly, very attentive, and always on top of things for all our tables. The food was delicious and not overwhelming! This was the first time I ordered a giant cinnamon roll from a restaurant and it wasn't overbearing to eat. The icing wasn't overly sweet and the roll was extremely fluffy. I ordered the Old fashioned Candied Apple Waffle and it was just the right size for me! Highly recommend for anyone who is new to the area or is looking for a unique breakfast experience for your family.

This place is definitely worth the wait. By far one if not the best breakfast I've ever eaten. Pancakes are a must even if your not a fan as I normally would not eat one. But these are absolutely amazing. The cinnamon rolls we got 2 so we all shared, absolutely delicious. The omelet was made to perfection 👌 This place is a MUST! Even if your not staying in Gatlinburg go there for breakfast cuz you won't be disappointed. Great all around over all in every area. 10 outta 10

My wife and I could not have been happier with our experience at The Crockett!! It starts with the super friendly and attentive staff that were very welcoming!!! Then the atmosphere that just screams you are the mountains of Gatlinburg! Oh and then the food as you can see in the pics it is comfort food at its best !! So we just had to buy a couple of hoodies to always remember this experience 😎 a special shout out to the wonderful woman that sold us the hoodies she was super friendly and helpful!

Crockett’s Breakfast Camp is hands down one of the best breakfast spots in the Smokies. The food is hearty, fresh, and full of flavor—perfect portions that will keep you full all day. The menu has something for everyone, from classic comfort breakfast dishes to unique options done right. The service is friendly, efficient, and welcoming, even during busy times. The rustic, lodge-style atmosphere adds to the experience and makes it feel warm and inviting. Well worth the wait and a must-stop for breakfast or brunch when visiting the area.

Like others have said. It's worth the wait. It opens at 8am, we came at 7am and there were people already here. By 7:50am the line forms quick. We were seated down quickly and a cool feature is they bring you newspapers that are the menu. the food was fresh and so good. No matter how hungry you think you are the portions are big enough!

This place is not just touristy, it also serves great food. The thick fluffy pancakes are also somehow flavorful, especially with blueberry and whipped cream on top, and the cinnamon roll was the best I've ever had. It was the size of my face, and so great that I ate it all. Soft, warm, perfectly cinnamony, and swimming in icing. I got in with no wait early on a weekday in December, and had no trouble finding free parking on River Rd, but even if there is a wait this place is worth it.

Breakfast spots can feel like a dime a dozen but this place is FAR from it. This is some of the best breakfast I have had in awhile. Both myself and my partner chose to order an omelette with toast and got gravy on the side. We shared one of their signature "pancakes" and everything was phenomenal. Food came out very quickly and our server was very attentive and made sure to check on us a bunch. The ambiance inside is very cute and cozy. It feels like a log cabin and has a warm cozy fire. The menus are a newspaper that gives you some fun local history as well. Without a reservation on a Saturday morning, before 10 AM I waited about 40 minutes for two people but it was worth it. Be smarter than me and join the waitlist online before coming, that way your wait is shorter. They do have a small parking lot that is free and there is a paid lot behind it and some free street parking behind that.

Arriving in Gatlinburg, I knew I had to try the iconic Crockett's Breakfast Camp. I made sure to arrive early around 8 a.m., but there was still a long wait. What I really appreciated, though, was being able to join the waitlist online, which allowed me to stay warm in my car instead of standing in the crowded waiting area. Once there were only a few people ahead of me, I headed inside so I wouldn't miss being called. The restaurant has a very cozy, homey atmosphere that I loved. The menu is designed like a newspaper, which I thought was such a unique and fun touch. There were so many options that it was hard to choose because everything sounded good. For our food, I ordered the corned beef hash, which tasted very authentic and was overall really good. My absolute favorite item was the cinnamon pancake -- it was fluffy, flavorful, and truly phenomenal. I'm still thinking about that pancake to this day. My husband ordered the jalapeño omelet with a turkey sausage patty. He's not usually an omelet person and prefers his eggs well done, and without even asking, they made it exactly to his liking. He cleaned his plate. My mother ordered a stack of buttery pancakes and loved them so much she ate every single one. Since we don't live in the area, it was nice getting to try something different. If you're visiting, the pancakes are a must. Between the two, I personally liked the buttery pancakes more than the cinnamon, but both were very good. The turkey sausage was also great -- flavorful and not salty at all. The service was good overall, especially considering how busy the restaurant gets. Our server did forget a couple of things we asked for, and I was initially brought coffee without creamer or sugar. By the time I was able to flag her down, my coffee had gone cold and had to be replaced. That said, I could tell she was very busy, so I didn't make a big deal out of it. Overall, despite the long wait, we had a great experience. The food, atmosphere, and unique touches really stood out, and I will definitely be coming back the next time I'm in Gatlinburg TN.

Very popular. Usually a wait. Ours was 45 minutes. Ambiance is very country cabin. The hostess was simply horrible. She was the most unwelcoming person I've encountered at a restaurant, and please don't speak a second language thinking no one understands. We contemplated leaving as we sat down due to this interaction. It was awful but we decided to give it a second chance and this all fell on the waitress. So, Irene came rolling up and for this reason alone I would give this place a five star review. She alone was amazing. Take note. The food. It was pretty good. Nice portions and delicious sides. The biscuits and pancakes are stellar.

The decorations were perfection. It felt like I was in a cabin. The service was quick. The food was great! I got fresh fruit bowl, hot chocolate, and the fluffiest pancakes. The pancakes were super filling and delicious.

My wife and I visited in mid-September, and really enjoyed our visit. Before I get to the review proper, I think we should have a bit of a caution regarding parking. For the entire restaurant, there are six parking spaces plus a single handicap parking space. If you show up when you are hungry, those spaces will be filled. And that means that you need to park across the street for $20/day (no hourly rate, no validated parking). Of course, this is pretty standard for Gatlinburg, because it's a tourist town, so why not? But that means that unless you are staying at the Day's Inn next door, you need to budget for an additional $20 above the cost of your meal ($48 + tip for the two of us). OK. On with the review proper. We got there at pretty much prime lunch time, so had several minutes of wait to be seated. The theme / interior of the restaurant is nicely in line with the log cabin / breakfast camp idea. Our server was great. We had the Crocket's Buckwheat Fruit & Nut Pancakes and Thick Aretha Frankenstein's Pancakes (with Blackberry Compote). Both were delicious. I really enjoyed the Aretha's as their thickness made them out of the ordinary. My side order of Corned Beef Hash was among the better CB Hash I've had. I also ordered a side of Cherokee Sweet Corn Pone. I don't recall ever before having Corn Pone. I really liked it, and will be both looking for it on menus in the future and also looking for a good recipe to try making it myself. Since I mentioned the meal price above, I need to also mention that we had a side order of quite tasty Pecan Smoked Bacon, one Coffee and one Iced Tea. So, to sum up, a really good breakfast spot, but when considering the cost of parking, it becomes a quite pricy meal.

Gatlinburg loves themselves a breakfast place, and this is definitely my favorite of them all! Come in hungry because portions are massive. I have not had the giant cinnamon roll but it is impressive looking! Like a giant steak with a big ole knife sticking out. Insane. The buckwheat pancakes are my go-to here and so delicious. There is a little homemade granola and fresh pecans in the batter for some crunch and the fresh strawberries on top are like the icing on a cake. Fluffy and not too sweet so you don't feel bad adding some syrup for the perfect bite. Menus are so unique like old newspapers and lots of Gatlinburg local history in the articles on the front to read and discuss while waiting for your food. Servers are kind and helpful and the bathrooms are super clean. 11/10 experience.

I've been here as a kid and coming back as an adult still holds a novelty. We split the cinnamon roll cause i mean it's GIANT. I cleaned my plate which I wasn't expecting of myself. The cost was reasonable too. I will warn to get there early and be prepared for a wait! We were two people going at 9am and had a 15min wait which was quick. if you are a bigger party than that try an join the online waitlist or put your name down and walk around since it's right on the main road. Overall it's like a Cracker Barrel but nicer, cleaner, and more local!

We waited approximately 2 hours for a table; but I will say the wait was worth it! I ordered the corned beef hash (also came with grits, biscuit and gravy, and eggs) and I ordered a side of griddle cake (pancake) with chocolate chips. Overall it was great! I especially enjoyed the griddle cake. It was the thickness of 3 pancakes! Place inside gave it a very thematic vibe of David Crockett's time, and was pretty cool.

A little impromptu after Christmas trip with my adult children to Gatlinburg. My son and DIL talked about how good this breakfast was. At first I was a little hesitant considering Gatlinburg is known for some really great restaurants. We called ahead and were placed on a 2 hour waiting list, so plan accordingly. We spent some time walking the strip before arriving. We arrived about 15 minutes earlier than our scheduled time. This place was packed! We were seated very close to the time given. The atmosphere was very rustic with a family appeal. The tables are large for bigger groups as well. This being my first visit and not really knowing what to expect I ordered a cinnamon roll along with my breakfast. Needless to say the cinnamon roll can be shared with at least 4 people. It's massive and delicious! Food and service were excellent. The food is served in large cast iron skillets which just adds to the appeal. One of our best meals hands down! If you're down for a visit, make Crockets a priority, it's worth the wait!

Went while we are on vacation we tried to get there as soon as they opened that they're 30 minutes later. There was about an hour wait We were able to order our coffee while we wait . He started off with one of their Hat cinnamon rolls, which was delicious. Two weeks later. I'm still thinking about it. We had the big breakfast skillet that had the country fried steak, which was pretty good Portions were large and in charge everybody enjoyed their meal. It was cooked quickly and accurately. A family friendly breakfast spot that has been around for years. Many people have been able to enjoy their food. I would say definitely come early or be free enough to wait.

Our first time here and might double back tomorrow. I ordered the quesadilla and subbed in potato's instead of rice/beans. My husband got the cinnamon roll but it was gone before I could get a pic! The best part was our server, Jenny. She was phenomenal and incredibly friendly.

This breakfast place is a must try! I ordered my food to go, but it did not disappoint! Pancakes were amazing. All the meats were great. Biscuits and gravy were wonderful. The cinnamon roll was as big as my head!!! Very country type setting and pleasant staff.

This was a great stop for breakfast at the end of our Gatlinberg vacation! Wait times can be long (we waited about 45 minutes for a table for 2), but you can join a waitlist online in advance. The pancakes are a must try - they were unlike any pancake I've ever had, they were more like a cake and super thick, with a caramelized outside. I'd almost make a trip back to Gatlinberg just for those pancakes.

My wife and I decided to end our stay in Gatlinburg with a breakfast at Crockett's - perfect way to end a trip! We had a bit of a wait the morning we went, which seems like there usually is, but we moved quickly and were able to get a table within 30 mins. I had their pancake breakfast - which was delicious! The pancakes were huge and the blueberry topping was great. My side of bacon was also a nice treat. I'd come back when in town again!

We got there early enough to not have to wait, but I can see why the wait times are so long here. What a cool restaurant!! The whole vibe inside was unique and neat. It makes you feel like you're in a mill or something, and it just so cool. The menus are even newspapers. The food was delicious. I had to try the griddle cake, and I am glad I ordered this. We will be back and you should go too!

First time visiting this restaurant. Sooo much food..... We ordered two skillets. This was the best way to try a lot of different items. The meal is served in a huge cast iron pan. Not going to lie, the pictures of their griddle cake (pancake) didn't seem appealing to me, but I was wrong! From the pictures, I thought the cakes looked dense but they were oh so good! The cinnamon rolls are phenomenal! Daughter ordered the healthy waffles and enjoyed. Granola mixed into batter made waffles enjoyable. Son ordered French toast and was gone quickly! And our server, Karen, was the absolute sweetest southern lady. Offered a few suggestions when she found out it was our first visit. Will be back!

Get ready for one of the best breakfast places in Gatlinburg, super food, super service, super ambiance, win win situation, really really great

Our first stop to eat upon arriving in Pigeon Forge was for a good ol country breakfast. I read about quite a few options but I saw these thick pancakes for Crockett's and decided on them. We called in to check on the wait, an hour and 40 mins.. so we asked to be put on waitlist. Be prepared to wait! Now it's set in Gatlinburg once known as White Oak Flats.. there's a lot of history behind the name and the building takes you back in time itself. Parking is a challenge as only few spots in front and behind it; there are plenty of $20 pay to park lots and garages around. Just so happens the restaurant across the street allows you to park for free. The restaurant decor is scene of old western, rustic mountain country cabin vibes. The decor, props and framed wall pieces all tell a story as well.. Appalachian living. It was a very hot day, full sunshine so even though there's log benches outside it was not ideal. In the interior way there's a few more benches. Continuing with the theme, the menu is a black & white print newspaper White Oak Daily Post with articles. Our waitress was busy but attentive and friendly. She helped offering breakfast recommendations. My mom ordered Griddle pancakes called Aretha Frankenstein's Pancake, turkey sausage and over easy eggs; mine was Stuffed strawberry cream cheese French toast, bacon, over easy eggs and potatoes. Our food came out pretty fast, about 15 mins give or take. It looked delicious. Upon digging in, I realized not all my food was hot or warm.. my bacon and eggs were cool. The FT was cinnamon, sweet and fruity goodness. Those pancakes are very thick, and have a cornbread taste to them. Overall it was good just wish it came out hot. We tried to speak to someone after our meal but could never get a managers attention.

Wow!! This was an amazing breakfast experience that I HIGHLY recommend to anyone traveling to Gatlinburg.. I was told by multiple reviews that it's best to get on the waitlist and I'm sooooo glad I took heed to it. I hopped on the waitlist as soon as I woke up Friday morning; by the time we got there, we were only 30 minutes away from being seated. Once we were seated, our waiter took our order almost immediately.. he was quiet but very attentive and sweet. The waffle has a perfect name, because it indeed was insanely great.. BEST WAFFLE I'VE HAD TO DATE!! The turkey sausage was delicious and the potatoes were well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Please do yourself a huge favor and GOOOO!!

Crockett's Breakfast Camp was a truly mediocre experience for us. Perhaps we should have gone with a lumberjack-type staple, indicative of the region we were visiting, but we both opted for a simple, basic breakfast. In my opinion, the pecan-smoked bacon was flavorful and delicious. The scrambled eggs with cheese were slightly undercooked, like a little "wet". The biscuit's texture was superb. Extra soft and fluffy. The Cherokee Sweet Corn pone, which I'd never had previously, was surprisingly yummy. I was happy that I tried it. There was also fresh fruit (orange wedges, grapes and honeydew). In regard to the atmosphere, I loved the on-brand, themed Smokey Mountain decor. The rustic, log cabin with taxidermy bears was pretty cool. I also loved the big cast iron cauldrons sitting over the non-existent fire (it was in the high 90 degree range during our entire visit). There were a lot of people waiting outside for tables, so I was happy that I put us on the waitlist before we ever left our Airbnb. Once we arrived, our wait was just about 5 minutes or so...putting it at approximately 40-45 minutes total. When we signed up, there were 34 parties ahead of us! Had I physically waited outside, I'd say it wasn't worth it, but our server was fast and efficient. She took good care of us and handled business. Lastly, we noticed that all of the African-American/Black employees appeared to be "back of house", meaning they were the food runners or the bussers (perhaps dishwashersand/or cooks, too)... none were servers. I kept looking for the exception to the rule, but could not find one. Just an observation. Perhaps none of those employees applied to the host or server positions, but we thought that to be a bit odd. P.S. The table we sat at was a bit sticky and we noticed a lot of dust on the back of the chairs. Management should make sure they get a good wiping down!

There's not much I can say that hasn't already been covered in the multitude of reviews. It definitely lives up to all the hype. What a breakfast place. A very large seating area with a rustic old cabin motif. Cool menus that look like an old time western newspaper right from the Davy Crockett ara. And a huge stone fire place complete with big hanging cast iron cooking pots. Biggest and best delicious breakfast meals I've ever seen or tasted. The pancakes are more like just cakes. They're that tall. And when they say skillet breakfast they mean a real 10 inch cast iron skillet! When I seen these coming out of the kitchen it kinda scared me (lol) so I wound up going with the Grandma Hattie's French Toast with blueberries and home whip cream. It was amazing. Oh and I had to get a side of that Pecan Smoked Bacon. Oh My Gosh! A must when in Gatlinburg TN. I would definitely suggest a call ahead or get there when it opens. This place is crazy busy.

We love this place. We cannot go to Gatlinburg without dinning here. Those panCAKES are so good. We share that Black Bear Camp Skillet that comes with everything. The country ham was particualrly good on this trip. We replaced the potatoes with the fried candied apples. You got to try this but be prepared to wait for a table if you are not here before 8AM. Those giant cinnamon rolls are tempting as well.

The pancake here was so good, I would go back just for the pancake. We had a nice waitress that made us feel at home. The interior was very old-style, and we enjoyed looking at the menu since it was a whole newspaper! Again, I'd recommend the pancakes. I'm not a big pancake person, but it was 10/10, and I can't stop thinking about it.

While looking for something in Gatlinburg to eat for brunch, Crockett's come up at a highly recommend place to try-out. The minute you walk in, a southern charm layout greets you. Mason jar lamps, wooden bench and tables and news-papers as your menus are just a few of the deco you will notice when being escorted to your table. Due to closing because about of hour out, our waitress was kindly rushing us to put our order in with it did only take us less than 5 minutes to figure out what we wanted. I ordered the Old Fashioned Cinnamon Candied Apple Waffle with scrambled eggs and sausage links. There was a lot of food given but the overall meal was okay. I wasn't really sure where the "candied apple" flavor came into play as the apples tasted more cinnamon. The Crockett's Mountain Omelet was your topical omelet loaded with a lot of fixing but overall just okay. Overall, the ambience flows throughout the whole restaurant but definitely a one-time try.

Be sure to get on the wait list online before coming here. The food here is worth the wait though! Their pancakes are PAN-CAKES I've never seen anything like it, but they're so good. What impressed me most of all was their country ham. It was the most tender and not overly salty ham I've ever eaten. Service was also quick and helpful. The inside decor and banjo music takes you back in time, it's a neat experience.

I can see why this place is so popular! Tip, to avoid the line be sure to put your name on the guest list online. Be sure to check in with front reception when you arrive. Once inside your overwhelmed by all the decor, it is so tastefully done that you find little surprises the closer you look. Really transports you into a whole different world. Service was great, our server was attentive and super friendly. Be prepared for ginormous portions! My husband and I could have easily split one meal. Everything we ordered was delicious, overall great place where get a lot of food for good price.

We dined at Crockett's after several recommendations on the portion size and food options. We were advised to arrive when they opened, but slept in a bit. Fortunately it was a rainy day and traffic was low. We arrived around 7:30 AM but were seated immediately. It's a cozy restaurant with a fireplace and a log cabin type feel. The menu is printed on a newspaper and is extensive. They offer pancakes, waffles, breakfast sandwiches, omelets, specialty breakfast items and giant cinnamon rolls. We ordered the cheese omelet, kids pancake with egg, kids waffle with egg, and big breakfast with giant cinnamon roll. The cinnamon roll stole the show, with a light creamy icing. It was simply delicious and a must try. The rest of the food was normal breakfast fare - good local place to stop by if you're in the area.

I took a group of 10 of us out for breakfast in Gatlinburg. We didn't want a fast food breakfast, so we went to Crockett's 1875 Breakfast Camp. What a great decision! Food was super delicious and plentiful. The atmosphere was very country and clean. The wait staff handled our large group with ease. Highly recommend to get there early. They do t take reservations but can get you added to a wait list. They can easily accommodate large groups. I spent $199 for 10 hungry people; that's pretty good!

We had a wonderful experience eating here for brunch one day while on vacation. The service was friendly and quick, and our lovely server somehow remembered 9 orders without writing a single thing down... impressive! As for the food, we all enjoyed everything. Classic breakfast food at a fair price. The omelets came stuffed with meat, the sausage patties didn't feel too greasy or salty, and my apple waffles were satisfying as well. I will say I didn't particularly like the texture of both the waffles or pancakes but they tasted nice. Be sure to get in line early or call ahead if you're hungry as it gets incredibly busy on the weekends!

I arrived here after an overnight stay in a nearby town and was cold and hungry! I only had about an hour and 15 minutes left before the restaurant closed and it was a bit of a challenge to find free parking nearby, but I managed to snag a spot a block away on a side road. Everything on that menu looked delicious, but I had to try the Pot Roast Benedict. It was fantastic, I only wished I had asked for more sausage gravy. Apparently I could have, because the darling of a waitress told me she would have absolutely brought me extra! Well, next time I'm in town, I'll have to remember that. The corn pone that came with it was something I had never had before and I'm told it was a Native American variation of cornbread. Honestly, there aren't very many variations of corn bread that I haven't liked and this one was no different. The cheese grits were also delicious and I wish I had a bigger stomach. The only thing not worth writing home about was the coffee. It was one of those unfortunate coffee situations where it tasted both burnt and watered down. I declined my refill, but the service was outstanding! If I ever make it back in the area, I would definitely get my breakfast here again.

Huuuuge line, but they get you in quick. We made a reservation early that morning that moved us in fast. Awesome server. I think she was from the Hinterland with no smile, but great sense of humor and memorized the order of all 8 of us. Impressive. My stuffed french toast was off the chain and my wife said the pancakes were amazing. Great job. My expectations were low with a tourist area but Crockett's did not disappoint.

I discovered this place while searching for recommendations on social media, where it was highlighted as one of the best breakfast spots in Gatlinburg--and my experience did not disappoint! Here are a few important tips: 1. Check the waitlist before you go. This spot is extremely popular, and the wait can be long, sometimes up to two hours. Using the waitlist will save you time. 2. Share the famous thick Aretha Frankenstein pancakes. They are massive! If you're with someone, one serving is more than enough to share. I ordered two, my companion also ordered two, and we had plenty left over. 3. Don't skip the cinnamon roll. It's huge, delicious, and absolutely worth trying! One unique detail I loved is that the menu is presented as a newspaper, which adds such a fun and creative touch to the experience. Parking won't be an issue, as there's a large lot directly across from the restaurant. My experience was fantastic; the atmosphere perfectly complements a great breakfast. Without a doubt, this will be my go-to spot whenever I return to Gatlinburg!

So, on Tuesday morning around 10 am, and it was pretty busy! We waited about an hour for a table, but that's understandable. Our server the one with the ponytail! was super busy, but when he finally got to us, things were a little... odd. He just kinda tossed our drinks and straws on the table. No biggie, we totally get it, but it was a bit of a funny moment. Honestly though, the place is gorgeous! It's got this really cool Southern vibe, the decor is amazing. The food was great overall, but let me tell you about the pancakes OMG Seriously, if I'd known how amazing they were, I would have just ordered a stack of those and called it a day. We also got a fried cinnamon roll incredible! I tried the chopped steak and eggs. The chopped steak was... well, let's just say it's basically a fancy hamburger patty. It was a pink in the middle, but the gravy and shredded potatoes were delicious. It came in this huge skillet talk about a feast! with grits, extra gravy, a pancake, shredded potatoes, sweet cornbread, and a biscuit. We also shared the Black Bear Camp Skillet country ham salty and good and the Postmaker's Favorite country fried steak yum which was my favorite dish. The old-fashioned waffle was okay, but honestly, nothing beats those pancakes. I wish we had a place like this back home! One thing to note the menu is presented like a newspaper, which is a neat touch. And parking can be a nightmare if it's busy you might have to use a parking garage nearby. Overall, a really fun experience! Despite the slightly chaotic service, the food and atmosphere were fantastic. Definitely recommend the pancakes.

While in Gatlinburg we went here for breakfast because of the reviews... and boy did it not disappoint! Granted it was VERY popular, so we had a two hour wait. Luckily you can join the wait in advance online. At the establishment, our server was so kind and very thoughtful. She was awesome! The portions were large and the food was EXCELLENT! I had the homemade corn beef hash and it was the best we've had in 6 years since a place in Napa. My husband had a skillet and it came with so many sides it was perfect for our 3 year old to munch on too. The ambience was fun to look at with all the "stuffed" animals. Overall, 10/10!

Absolutely. Worth the hype for the 'gram, but flavor-wise it leaned more "fun to look at" than "can't-stop-eating." Still a solid way to start. Three of us went with different versions of the Crockett's Mountain Omelet--each one packed with fillings, flavor, and serious size. We're talking omelets that practically need their own zip code. You won't leave hungry, that's for sure. The candied apples on the side didn't quite hit the mark--they needed more time to soften--but the Fresh-Made Biscuit? If you want TONS of amazing breakfast food and an insanely low price, you should check this place out. Seriously, we come here once a year for the Winterfest (February) event, and always make Crockett's a necessary stop. We've never had bad service there, but the wait times to get a table can be excessive (it's a popular spot). I believe you can put yourself on a wait list though--and there's plenty to do around the Gatlinburg area while you are waiting. Inside, it's like an old style log cabin of sorts. Some of the biggest cinnamon rolls I've ever seen. All the food we've tried has been amazing. Don't go if you are not hungry though!

OMG. BEST BREAKFAST EVER!! Waited 40 minutes! The place was packed! Menu is on newspaper! Pancake is thick! YUM! Best grits I've had in a LONG time!!

Breakfast was good cool decor inside definitely not worth the 2 hour wait. The pancakes were good and bacon. Biscuits and gravy were good but my mother's and wife's are much better. Scrambled eggs had a sweet taste like they were fried near something sweet. Our waiter was nice and very attentive.

Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Ambiance: 10/10 This is the only breakfast place we go to when we visit Gatlinburg, TN. Every single thing on the menu is delicious & flavorful, it feels like you're eating at granny's house! We tried the famous skillets which were loaded up and so tasty. Do not skip the pancakes! I mean it when I say this is the only place you can get those kinds of pancakes in your lifetime. I live in Chicago and not a single place in the city serves those kind of pancakes! We did try the famous cinnamon roll as well but it was nothing compared to the pancakes, was also too sweet for us. The last day we were there we tried the Elk mountain grande burrito and it was one of the best breakfast burritos we have ever had. Can't wait to come back soon!

I was skeptical of Crockett's because it's right in the middle of Gatlinburg and I assumed it would be an over-hyped tourist trap. Thankfully, the hype is warranted. We had to wait 2 hours to be seated - in this time, we walked all around town, got some coffee, and walked along the Gatlinburg trail on the creek - time well spent! By the time we were seated, we were so hungry - thankfully, Crockett's serves their food faster than you can ever imagine. We waited 2 hours to be seated, but we were done with our meal in ~20 minutes. I got the apple waffle with eggs and sausage - I was looking for something savory and sweet, so this was the perfect combination and it was seriously so good. The apple waffle tasted like a delicious apple pie and the eggs and sausage were so good with it. My husband got the corned beef hash plate, which he also thoroughly enjoyed. Actually a good spot if you're willing to wait!

I totally get the hype now! We were in Gatlinburg and wanted to explore the charming little town. After looking over a few breakfast spots, we decided to give Crockett's a try. We got there on a Friday morning, put our name on the waiting list, and were told there'd be about a 1.5 to 2-hour wait. We couldn't find free parking, and paid $20 bucks to park. Since the area is perfect for strolling, we decided to walk around while we waited. They will text you when you're close, and you can monitor your spot on the list. We stopped by a few bars to try their moonshine, browsed the shops, and before we knew it, our table was ready! The service was incredibly fast. We placed our order, and within about 15 minutes, our food was already at the table. We had pancakes, biscuits and gravy, omelets, and country fried steak. In hindsight, we probably should've checked what each dish came with because we ended up with way more food than we could eat. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. If you're in the area, definitely make sure to stop by this spot!

We got there early. The service was great. The food was more than plenty. They're special items are pretty neat. The regular breakfast food is just that regular breakfast. I'm glad I took the time to try this place.
