"Croissants Bistro is the undisputed Myrtle Beach spot for when people want to get brunchy in an atmosphere that looks like it was borrowed from the French Riviera, with wicker seating and striped awnings. The main attractions are always a toss up between bananas foster French toast or the croque madame, but the mango mimosa is never in question." - Andre James

Today, we enjoyed a fantastic breakfast at one of the best restaurants I've ever visited! We indulged in Sunrise Pizza, French toast, Swiss tomato and spinach omelette, California Benny, Éclair, red velvet cake, cheese Danish, and eggs to order. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. We highly recommend visiting this restaurant on your next trip to Myrtle Beach.

We had a fantastic experience at the Croissant Bistro Bakery! Angeli our waitress provided exceptional service—attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed delicious mimosas, the unique Sunrise Pizza on a croissant flatbread, and the loaded mashed potatoes, all served in generous portions. Everything was flavorful and satisfying—definitely a spot worth visiting again!

Google
1st visit & won't be my last because I ended up with a deliciously filling lunch & couldn't try dessert! So tomorrow it is!!! The Irish Coffee & Peachy Keen cocktails were so smooth!! Yum! The DEVILED EGGS with jalapeño bacon super whipped filling, topped with crispy bacon are a must starter!! The SOUTHERN SHRIMP SALAD with tri-colored peppers, red onions, celery, seasoned with old bay and dill, served open-faced on a croissant was full of flavor and the FRIED CHICKEN SANDWICH with cheddar cheese, spicy mayo, jalapeño coleslaw, served on a challah bun was still juicy even though cooked a bit longer than I'd prefer to get the batter texture I like! Delicious non-the-less! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! 🤩

We loved this place, Alicia was the best!! She was super professional and helpful, and was open to do some replacements due to our special diet. We loved the coffee also they grind it at the spot in front of you! Place is clean and well decorated. We are visiting from Cincinnati, and this will be our breakfast spot the whole week.

Google
Croissants is one of my favorite brunch spots in Myrtle Beach. We love everything that we have tried. It's a perfect spot to catch up with a friend over a bite to eat. I love the cappuccino and Iced Chai Latte. We get the cinnamon mini's quite often.. The croissant breakfast sandwich with ham, egg and cheese is my daughter's favorite. I love to try some new things each time. I really love the French onion soup and you can't go wrong with their cheesy hashbrown side I prefer to get the loaded version with more cheese, bacon, sour cream and scallions.

Google
This is a beautiful and absolutely huge restaurant. It's amazing that they occupy so much space. Even the bathrooms are beautiful! We went for breakfast, and they started us with some very good pumpkin muffins that were moist and full of flavor. Cinnamon rolls were very good, though could have been hotter when served. The bacon, egg and cheese croissant was tasty. Loaded hashbrowns were decadent, and the Dutch pancake was super light and good. Lattes were excellent. Overall, we liked this place a lot and would definitely go back.

Yelp
Skyler is a great server. Great food and atmosphere, something for everyone and has a ton of healthy options

Yelp
I didn't take any pictures of the food but trust me when I say the chocolate croissant was amazing. So was the lemon bar and the cheese danish was gone before my forever date could tell me we are going back for another before we leave town. We carried out coffee as well and our server was very friendly. I did take a pic of the menus and the coffee roaster. The place smelled amazing.

Rion C.

Yelp
First things first. Server was extremely nice and deserved a 4 star rating. She was friendly and nice and went beyond especially since we had a summer hurricane type storm. Rain came down in buckets. As for the food, it was average. Good but not deliciously good. We had brunch- banana's foster French toast on challah bread. The challah bread seemed more like a regular white bread. We also ordered a crab cake sandwich with broccoli salad, an eggs bacon Benedict on croissant and cheesy hash and breakfast burrito with pasta salad. A special thanks to the restaurant because they gave me a muffin to celebrate a birthday. Not expected but very much appreciated!

Thomas L.

Yelp
French toast is not soaked enough, dry and stale inside...completely ruins the whole concept of French toast.m. Pancakes are delicious. Do not get the coconut milk, tastes like water. Disappointing to call it a croissant shop when the croissants are 3 inches and you get better ones at Costco. Service was good but overall a bit overpriced for the quality of food. I am a chef and culinary instructor.

Yelp
One of my new favorite breakfast and brunch restaurants in Myrtle Beach that was highly recommended by locals! My family and I loved our visit to Croissant's Bistro and Bakery. Featuring: Blood Orange Mimosa, Mini Cinnamon Rolls, Quiche Lorraine w/ cheesy grits, and Croque Madame with hashbrowns. Make sure to reserve your spot online if planning a weekend visit!

Yelp
I'm only sad that we didn't come here earlier in our visit! Had the shrimp and grits which were wonderful! Hunter K was our server and was perfect, Attentive but not obtrusive.! We sat outside on a perfect morning. It really couldn't have been a better experience. It's been years and I miss the old place and most of all the old shrimp and grits with spinach and BBQ shrimp but the new version doesn't disappoint. Coffee was good and strong and plentiful ( thank you Hunter!!!).

Hanna R.

Yelp
The menu is varied and delicious. Lovely presentation and the ambience is special. The wait staff is attentive. I was especially impressed by my server who remembered exactly how I liked my americano coffee from the previous day. Tres chic and merc

Yelp
A few streets over from the ocean and a beautiful location in South Carolina croissant bistro is always a go to brunch spot for us when we're in town. The croissants cinnamon rolls are always perfect. The service is always very polite. I always enjoy my time when I'm here.

Yelp
During my recent visit to Myrtle Beach, I set out to find a quality local brunch spot, steering clear of the touristy places. My search led me to Croissants Bistro & Bakery, a bustling establishment with a charming coffee bar at the front. After a short wait, I was seated by a friendly waitress who suggested trying the Cinnamon Bun Minis and Deviled Eggs as appetizers. For my main course, I picked the Shrimp and Grits, complemented by a refreshing blonde stout. The meal was superb, served promptly and with fresh ingredients. Before leaving, I couldn't resist grabbing a slice of carrot cake, which exceeded my high standards. Whether for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, or simply for a coffee and baked goods, I highly recommend a visit to Croissants Bistro & Bakery when in Myrtle Beach. SHRIMP & GRITS andouille sausage, fried green tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, pimento cheese grits CINNAMON BUN MINIS hot out of the oven mini croissant cinnamon buns DEVILED EGGS jalapeño bacon filling, topped with crispy bacon COLOR BLIND COFFEE BLONDE STOUT (made with Croissants freshly roasted coffee, Southern Hops Brewing (5.5%)

Yelp
Came on a Thursday afternoon and saw lot of people waiting for their tables. Parking lot was somewhat full but we were able to find a spot. Upon check in, the girl asked if we had reservation which we didn't. She informed us that wait time for party if 4 would be 45 mins. About 25 minutes later, I got the text that our table is ready but I completely missed that. Long story short, I checked my phone about 40 minutes after checkin only to realized that we might've missed our table. We rushed out from the car and thankfully we were seated right away. Phew!! Very beautiful establishment and nicely decorated. Feels beachy, airy and nautical. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered.

Cady P.

Yelp
Made a rez for breakfast and was immediately seated in a nice booth by the kitchen window. Loved the atmosphere and waitress. Food came out quick and was delicious. I got shrimp and grits which was excellent!!! Husband got the chicken and waffles which was also good. We would love to go back.

Jack B.

Yelp
A cozy, charming, modern, and airy atmosphere. Fantastic food. Friendly service. Locally roasted coffee. My family and I had the following dishes: soup/sandwich combos (tomato/chicken salad on a croissant), shrimp and grits, fried chicken/waffles, and a power salad. All were delicious. I also appreciated the restaurant's presentation of various dishes. My latte had beautiful foam art. The soups had artful drizzles. The shrimp and grits were presented in a big, beautiful bowl. This kind of attention to detail elevates a restaurant from 4 stars to 5. This was my in-laws' favorite place to dine during our MB vacation. Just a wonderful spot for a sit-down brunch. Note that Croissants also has a walk-up counter area, so you can easily take food and coffee to go. Cheers!

Pete S.

Yelp
Enjoyed our two breakfasts out this week here. Food was prepared well and very unique choices. Servers are attentive and kept our coffee cups full. Place to go for eggs Benedict, omelets. Bakery looks amazing with a lot of choices of goodness. Very nice, bright atmosphere.

Allison M.

Yelp
Super cute bakery. We got the key lime cheesecake for 2 & it was delicious! Not sure how we walked away without trying anything else? There's always next time

Matthew L.

Yelp
During my stay at a nearby resort in Myrtle Beach, I decided to try breakfast at Croissants Bistro & Bakery, and I'm so glad I did! The shrimp and grits were almost as good as my mom's cooking--rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Honestly, this breakfast beats anything the resort has to offer by a mile. The cappuccinos were perfect, with just the right balance of espresso and froth. I topped off the meal with a lemon bar, which was absolutely incredible--tangy, sweet, and wonderfully fresh. The service was great, with friendly and attentive staff who made the experience even better. The cozy ambiance was the cherry on top. This place is a must-visit and it's a short walk to get there from the resort.

Yelp
I've been coming to Croissants since it opened in the late 90's or early 2000's. You cannot get better Chicken and Waffles anywhere (inclusive of any Charleston) establishment. Perfectly seasoned chicken and the maple syrup is not needed as the waffles are that tasty. They also serve complimentary mini muffins, but I miss the ambrosia. Please bring it back. Always great service and a beautifully decorated bistro. Myrtle Beach's finest breakfast, brunch and lunch spot.

Alison P.

Yelp
The decor of the restaurant is adorable and the croissant cinnamon rolls were amazing!!!

Richard T.

Yelp
Place is great. Food, fantastic. Great service and Ambiance. Everything was fresh and delicious

Yelp
I tried to take my elderly mother here for lunch today. We arrived around 11:30 and it wasn't incredibly busy. We sat at our table for over 20 minutes and not one member of the weight staff came up to us/give us any water. Meanwhile, they were helping tables around us and it was like we were invisible. we finally decided to leave but we stopped to talk to one of the managers. When I told the manager what happened she said she was one of the managers, she just acted like she didn't care all she said was oh I'll talk to my wait staff. She didn't even say I'm sorry, I told her I live in Myrtle and I don't think I will ever go back and I will make sure all my friends know about this incident.

Ashley O.

Yelp
This was our first time trying the new location as we always went to the old one which is closer to us. I called to get takeout and the first time no picked up and it said to leave a message. The second time someone picked up and put me on hold. I ordered and was told 20-25 minutes. Upon walking in, there were people everywhere. The line to pickup/order at the counter was long and there was a wait to be seated. I definitely think they could have used more staff and more seating. Food was terrific as always. Fried green tomato and pimento melt and chicken salad croissant.

Ellen P.

Yelp
Wow, what a wonderful breakfast we had this morning. My friend and I both ordered the scrambled egg burrito. While we were waiting the waitress brought over some pumpkin muffins, which were delicious Excellent. I can't say enough about it. We had fresh fruit with that pico de gallo and coffee. Everything was wonderful. I was quite impressed with this place. I will be back.

Julie R.

Yelp
Wonderful little breakfast place. We tried the bacon and cheese quiche and the croque madame. Both were excellent. The complimentary mini pumpkin muffins were great. Cappuccino was spot on.

Barbara M.

Yelp
Service excellent , customer service is very good, and the food does not disappoint. Wonder pastries.

Art A.

Yelp
Croissants is about the only reason that we come to Myrtle Beach. Consistently amazing breakfast. Top notch service. Shrimp and grits are a must-have. The lox bagel platter is missed on the menu. Apparently people weren't into smoked salmon for breakfast. For the number of times we've eaten there, I still haven't had any of their baked goods. The bakery selection is huge, and looks amazing, but, I just haven't gotten to it.

Jennifer R.

Yelp
Found this place when trying to find a midway point to meet up with a friend. It couldn't have been more perfect. Excellent food with a cute atmosphere to match! Both of our dishes - gourmet omelet and shrimp and grits - were excellent. There were a lot of food options with large serving sizes and great prices to boot. Our waitress was wonderful. Attentive but not overbearing, giving my friend and me time to really catch up and enjoy each other's company. I'm not a coffee drinker and was too full to try any desserts, but both looked delicious and made by someone with real expertise. Highly recommend!

Morgan P.

Yelp
Amazing breakfast/brunch spot! They roast their own coffee and it is delicious! Benedict's were some of the best I've had - the crab cake is real not the fake kind you get at the grocery. The servers are great, friendly, and attentive! Very accommodating with children/strollers/car seats!

Tia W.

Yelp
This place has such cute indoor decor. The service was friendly and pleasant-- and I also thought the outdoor seating looked inviting. We ordered the monte cristo and the chicken and waffles. Both were pleasant and we would return if ever in the area again.

Caro C.

Yelp
Bought some sweets since I saw good reviews but if you know about baking and real sweets these seem to be made in a box sweets or maybe purchased from publix and sold with a higher price

Brooke S.

Yelp
Our first visit went so well we went back for more! We had a sit down breakfast that was amazing. We sat outside, which was very comfortable. My husband & I ordered the mini Cinnamon buns to start: highly recommended, but it's a lot for two people. He had the breakfast burrito (A+) & I had an omelet (very good). Our server was very help with meal choices & very honest about her opinions. We went back two days later on our way out of town. We ordered ahead to grab & go, & added some sweets. The eclair was OKAY, but not my favorite, & my white mocha wasn't the best. HOWEVER, my husbands americano was great.

Patricia S.

Yelp
Loved this place. The cinnamon bun minis are so good. We also had avocado toast and chocolate scone. Service was quick and very friendly

Tim T.

Yelp
This is the first cake I've ever purchased from here, last year I got a piece and it was a little dry. I came back on Halloween night wife and I had just came in town and it was around 8:50 when I went in there were no cakes available the only thing I could get was the BOGO items so I picked up a pumpkin cake a croissant. They wrapped the pumpkin cake with icing in plastic wrap and the icing stuck to it when I opened it up, see photo of it wrapped up. I came back tonight 11.01.23 to see Akil and to get a piece of my favorite cake. It was awesome seeing him and getting to meet his 2yo son. I got some cake to bring home there was only 2 pieces left. I got home got my milk and took my first bite and was extremely disappointed, the cake and the icing was dried out the chocolate cake was crumbly not moist like it usually is. The cake didn't even look like it has always been made. Look at my photo of this cake it just doesn't match.

Jessica P.

Yelp
Food, service, and ambiance all 5 stars every time Highly recommend the cinnamon rolls.

Yvonne Z.

Yelp
Came for brunch, we were started off with mini muffins . The chicken salad croissant was so nicely seasoned and had the perfect crunch. The housemate chips were super crispy and well seasoned as well. The eggs Benedict was perfectly cooked and runny with the crispy but not too crispy bacon , the crossiant was also super buttery. The service was great, we were well attended to. The place was overall nice and bright and there was a lot of room to just enjoy a nice meal without feeling too overcrowded. The perfect first meal to start my mrytle beach trip with.

Lea H.

Yelp
Just tried this place for the first time. I am dying to go back. It had a very coastal feel and bright atmosphere. The service was spot on. Our waitress was happy to give a recommendation and said everything was good. She was NOT wrong. I loved that my eggs Benedict was not traditional, croissant bottom and bacon instead of ham. We started with the mini-cinnamon buns, also croissant dough. They were heaven. We brought home two desserts, key lime pie and carrot cake. I highly recommend trying. We got there fairly early and it was pleasant. I can see it getting busy.

S A.

Yelp
We made 2 visits during our 4 day visit to neighboring Marriott resort. If you love lemon treats this is your place. I tried the lemon tart, lemon cookie and lemon bar. The lemon bar was thicker and different texture than home baked lemon bar. Also enjoyed salted carmel brownie and almond joy brownie. Both very rich moist chocolate goodness. The chocolate eclair was yummy too. Wish we ate at the bistro from looking at the reviews. A must stop while visiting Myrtle Beach.

Craig H.

Yelp
Had salmon toast with cheesy hash browns and fried green tomatoes.my wife had Croque Madame. Everything was excellent. Our server, Taylor, was very efficient and attentive. She also kept our coffee cups filled. Nice restaurant, you are confronted by the bakery area upon entering . Definitely one of our favorite restaurants that we have been to.

Diana D.

Yelp
We decided to stop here for brunch after reading all the great reviews. There was a 45-minute wait during lunch, but we grabbed some coffee and waited on the patio seating, which was quite nice. The decor indoors was pretty. Our server was friendly, aware of the long wait, and did her best to get us our food quickly. We ordered smoked salmon benedict and a Monte Cristo sandwich. both of which were awesome. They also gave us a couple of complimentary mini muffins, which was nice. I will definitely recommend this place.

Sheree P.

Yelp
Every time I am in MB I eat here as many times as possible. This time I had the quiche lorriane with cheesy hash browns. All of it was delicious! The server was very nice and prompt. My friend had the Californian and cleaned her plate. The ambience is classy casual. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. Their baked goods are to die for!

Nathan H.

Yelp
Incredible food and some of the best coffee ever. Loved the outdoor seating and atmosphere. Service was excellent as well. Highly recommend!

Ashley C.

Yelp
We loved this place so much, we went back multiple times on our trip. From the service to the decor to the food, all excellent! I can't pick a favorite food, it was all delish. If we ever go back to Myrtle Beach, we will be going back!

Solmaz C.

Yelp
Great spot for breakfast or lunch. The banana French toast is wonderful. The Benedicts are a must try too as they are served over a croissant. Be sure to check out their bakery on your way out

Joann F.

Yelp
We went there for breakfast as a family. The staff were not friendly as I expected after reading reviews. The breakfast with the eggs, croissant and bacon was delivered cold and eggs rubbery. The croissants was the finest size I have ever seen! The grits were tasteless and lumpy! Our order of avacado toast was basically a smear! For the price the food should have been better.

Bella B.

Yelp
WOW! This bakery will forever be my go to breakfast in the area. All the food is stellar with the standouts from this trip being the Cinnamon Bun Minis, the snickerdoodle muffins and the croque madam. The coffee drinks here are also true standouts as they grind the beans fresh in house. My cookie dough macchiato was a real treat. I also picked up a birthday cake from the restaurant. The cake was very cute and delicious! It was a very soft and moist cake with delicious and fluffy frosting. Be sure to visit this place!

Kelsey R.

Yelp
This is another place I would give 6 stars to if I could! Nice, clean, inviting restaurant. Food is amazing. I try to get something different every time, or I make my friends share. Everything i've had is so yummy and filling, including: monte christo, chicken and waffles, fried green tomato and pimento sandwich, ham and brie sandwich, grits, and broccoli salad. Service is great. Coffee and baked goods are great, as well. This is a must stop for anyone in the Myrtle Beach area. In a sea of mediocre restaurants, Croissants is a standout cafe!

Jen M.

Yelp
This was our last stop before heading back home to DC after 5 days in Myrtle beach. Loved the breakfast here. I recommend having a reservation. The mini cinnamon croissants were delicious and the best I've ever had! Right amount of sweetness, cinnamon and softness bs crunch! We had the quiche du jour (veggie) salmon toast, fried chicken sandwich , avocado toast, fried green tomatoes Sandwich and fresh croissants. Every item was delicious! We got macrons to go and tried every flavor. Delicious! Our server, Annie, was so awesome. We got to experience the southern hospitality that I've only heard of. What a wonderful way to end our trip!

Linker L.

Yelp
If you eat nowhere else in Myrtle beach you MUST eat here. So reasonably priced and true flavor explosion from the coffee to the entree to the dessert. The mini cinnamon rolls are unbelievable. Very light almost like a puff pastry but so good. The grilled cheese BLT sandwich according to my husband was the best thing he had ever eaten. The power bowl is just loaded with goodness. Taylor was an unbelievable waitress. She was super informative and very friendly as well as attentive. We will be back multiple times this week.

Ariel P.

Yelp
Best coffee i've had at myrtle beach so far, hot americano and cold brew coffee were amazing. Service was fast and everyone is super nice. The avocado toast was amazing.

Angela O.

Yelp
Don't skip the cinnamon rolls. They were delicious! Nice brunch spot with good cakes.

Carroll S.

Yelp
Cute place with delicious treats. They have a coffee roaster and other treats to purchase. However as locals we were completely disappointed with our treatment. We went to see the bakery offerings and decided to purchase two lemon meringue tarts to go. I ordered and paid - even tipped. Then they promptly forgot about us standing there.... I had to get loud and ask how hard is it to get the two tarts we paid for? The gal that took our order- stood back and ignored us while two other staff members scrolled through multiple orders to find our order... the two servers that looked up our order and quickly filled it were not even at the counter when we put the order in. The gal that took our money and tip didn't say a word but watched the whole debacle. Oh and the name may say Croissants... we didn't see one croissant in the bakery. May take a while before we try them again. Fair warning if you don't take care of the locals -tourist may not be enough to keep you in business
