We went to Croissants Bistro & Bakery for lunch and had an enjoyable meal. I ordered the Pick 2: French Onion Soup and Caesar Salad. Both were very tasty, with the Caesar Salad edging ahead only because the French Onion Soup was ever so slightly over‑salted. Still definitely good, I ate the whole bowl happily! The Caesar Salad stood out thanks to crisp romaine, creamy dressing, and croutons that were seasoned so well they felt like an upgrade over the usual dried bread cubes.
My husband had the Fried Chicken Sandwich with Cheesy Hashbrowns. The sandwich came on a challah bun with fried chicken, cheddar cheese, spicy mayo, and jalapeño coleslaw. It all came together to make every bite DELISH…and it was also HUGE. The Cheesy Hashbrowns were bland and uneven in temperature, which made them disappointing.
For dessert, I had the Lemon Meringue Tart. It was bright, smooth, and delicious. My husband had a Lemon Square. It was just “okay” he ate it all but was put off by an overly salty background taste (between the two of us, he usually loves even the saltiest foods — just not in his desserts)
Our waitress, Cierra, was a standout. She had that mix of warmth and confidence that makes you instantly comfortable. Upbeat without being over the top, attentive without hovering, and clearly enjoying what she was doing…her personality carried the whole interaction and we had a delightful time!!
Lunch was enjoyable, the service was excellent, and even with a couple of small quirks, we’d go back.
