What an incredible find! The chef has done an excellent work with various flavors and combinaison, including with the intro cocktails. We sat outside for the whole diner and enjoyed a custom wine pairing with our menu. Really great time and great good.

Cannot fault the food or service, however just wasn’t quite what we expected. 6 courses all about the same size as the amuse bouche, beautifully presented but almost not substantial enough to match the three glasses of wine. We left feeling like we had more to drink than eat. However if you don’t mind very small portions, the food is creative, delicious and almost too pretty to eat, and the service is warm and accommodating of our lack of speaking French.

My first dinner in Bordeaux couldn’t be better! Great food, interesting combinations of the ingredients, kindly service and the chef owner was so nice to come at our table explaining the Menù. I highly recommend this restaurant

Chef Oxana Ramat will soon take her place inside the circle of better-known French chefs and you will not be able to afford to dine here and will also have a hard time scoring a reservation, so go to Cromagnon now and enjoy one of the most thoughtful, innovative, tasty, affordable, surprising, and fun meals possible in a darling cafe off the main streets of Bordeaux and be sure to save room for desserts, which range from amazingly delicious to amazingly delicious and flambéed. We were here every night during our too-short stay. The service is outstanding. The decor is charming and hip. The food is beautifully prepared and presented. Thank you for nourishing we hungry, thirsty, appreciative travelers.

Amazing meal, we had the tasting menu with wine pairings and it was one of the best meals we have ever had.

Good food but arguably the worst service ever in a fine dining restaurant I’ve had. Restaurant was severely understaffed to the point where our tasting menu took 5 hours, until 1 in the morning. Finished plates sat in front of us for 45+ minutes, and wine glasses sat empty. Even during service, we sat with our food in front of us waiting for the wine pairing to arrive. Also no details of the food or wine pairing were shared in advance, making it extremely difficult to even understand where in the menu we were.

We travel through food and restaurants. And I believe this may be the best food experience I had in years. Every serving was a wonderful surprise, delicious and beautiful. The place is elegant and comfortable and the staff was amazing throughout the evening. If there was a 6th star, I would give it to Cromagnon. Thank you for this wonderful evening and see you soon!
