Cronin's Pub

As a tourist traveling around the country, Cronin’s was amongst some of the best I’d been to. Now, as someone spending loads of time in Crosshaven, it’s still remains one of the best. The atmosphere is eclectic, yet very Irish. Artifacts of the town and pub’s history litter the walls and give you the sense of a larger narrative. Whether it’s a pint of Murphys, Beamish or a g&t, you know you’re in for a delicious gulp. The food is also high quality and excellent especially for a pub. There’s also a lovely monthly trad session, which, for a Canadian, is a beautiful experience that always feels wholesome and novel. So grab a creamy pint and nestle yourself into a corner, and enjoy the cozy atmosphere by the fire. Enjoy Cronin’s.

Travelled from Australia through England, Croatia and Ireland. Whilst in Cork we drove to Crosshaven to check out the harbour and boats. Thirsty for a pint we stumbled into Cronin’s Pub. We ended up having a few creamy pints and the best fish’n’chips we’ve had on our trip. The staff were brilliant, the pub was warm and cozy with its visiting sailor stories and good old fashioned pub vibe. Would highly recommend a detour to Cronin’s Pub in Crosshaven Cork. Cheers

Very well known pub, around a long time. Hasn't changed much over a long number of years. Old fashioned, vintage feel to the place, looks great place for a few pints especially outside on a sunny day. Food, mmm... Sandwich was a work of art but at €11.50 it would want to be. Soup at €8.50 was a disaster! Watery rubbish mushroom soup. Considering the soup was the only thing I had that had to be cooked, it was massively disappointing. Its not funny how easy it is to make even moderately good soup so this was such a poor effort. To charge €8.50 for it just adds insult to it. The only thing good about the soup was the three slices of soda bread that came with it and even that was poor quality bread. The coffee was weak and the service poor on a number of levels for example, bringing the cutlery after the food was on the table and ignoring customers standing at the counter etc etc. The fact that I could have got a main course for cheaper than my soup and sandwich was also a bit of a kicker. You live and learn. Main course next time and a glass of water! Out the gap! Again, €8.50 for soup! Really! Watery rubbish soup! Really!

Handsome pub serving good food and pints. Stopped in for lunch, tasty toasties and great chips. They provided a high chair for our one-year-old and the staff were very friendly.

One of my favourite place to eat in Cork. The best chips I had in Cork, cut in a way that it is so crispy. The burger is a must try with nice pesto on the bun. If you are lucky you get seasonal seafood specials. They are soooo good and fresh. The fish is also cooked really properly. It gets quite busy when the weather is nice. But Inside the pub, there is a proper restaurant part where you can reserve the table and have restaurant dining experience if that is what you are looking for. The oysters were very good as well. If you go to Crosshaven, don’t forget to go to Cronin’s pub !

Traditional Irish Pub! The food is amazing! Even the chips (French Fries) are ridged for easy dunking into your favourite sauce. Decorations are beautiful and staff are friendly.. The live music on the day was fantastic! Only draw back was limited seating.. Our food was so good if you haven't eaten there yet then you need to go!

Loved this pub. Went in for a couple of pints to watch the 6 nations game with the rest of the family. It was cozy and we got seats with limited viewing of the large tv. If there for a sports event, would recommend getting there early. Beyond the game viewing, they had more beers on draught than what I’m used to for an Irish pub. But the ambiance was great and lots of history on the walls. Highly recommend for authentic pub experience.

Lovely bar, nice food, food not served Mondays or Tuesdays. Nice atmosphere.
