Google
Good selection of ciders! They have renamed themselves and go heavily on the Metallica theme with rock music.

Yelp
This review is solely for the cider offerings and BOY do they have A LOT. I'm not a huge cider fan myself because I always end up with a headache the nexr day BUT this place had some really delicious ciders that it was worth the headache. I came here alone before dinner and had a flight. Every one of my ciders were delicious except one that was only okay. I didn't play any of the pinball machines but the arcade area looked really cool. There were a lot of TV's where with sports on but the vibe was more alternative-rock which I loveddd. I didn't try any of the food. Also the name is now Hesher's Pizza and Taproom and not Crooked City Cider but they still have some Crooked City Cider merch and glassware. I'm looking forward to coming back and eating here.

Yelp
Great selection of ciders for everyone's taste, a few beers, and maybe a couple meads if you're lucky. Great service, great pizza on site, and a nice vibe. For the kids, or the kid in you, they have pinball machines and various board games. We've been a couple times and will definitely be back!

Yelp
Whenever we find ourselves in Jack London Square, we make it a point to visit for a flight tasting. The venue boasts a comfortably spacious indoor area complemented by outdoor tables. Inside, the ambiance is bright and tidy, creating a welcoming atmosphere. They offer an extensive selection of delightful ciders, and we invariably leave with a few cans to enjoy at home. The staff consistently impresses us with their warmth and helpfulness, clearly taking pleasure in their work.

Yelp
Shout out to Crooked City sider owner Dana!!! So tonight my husband and I stopped in because they were having a trivia night! So fun right?! I know I thought the same thing! So we came in but we didn't get to play because we were a little late but then again we didn't think to ask could we hop in! Sooooo maybe we could of who knows but still it was so fun to just sit back and listen and play along even if we couldn't win the prize! Dana the owner was hosting and she's loads of fun! She mentioned they have trivia night every other Tuesday y'all so come check it out! Also on the First Friday of every month they have a Stand Up Comedy night!! We definitely want to check that out! I encourage you to stop in the next time your in jack London if not for the awesome entertainment then definitely for cider and Food!!! The pizza is phenomenal and the ciderrrrrrr oh boy! All I can say is you won't be disappointed if you try it out and once you do you will be HOOKED!

Yelp
Overall awesome place. Games, drinks, pizza, art, communal space; I love being able to come here and hang out with friends or by myself and get some work done. Friendly staff and good vibes all around.

Yelp
First time visiting this place. I was looking for a place that serves various ciders. If you love ciders this is the place to visit! They have a wide selection of ciders/beers/wine. I decided to order the flight to try different ones. It's cool how they have ciders from all of the place. Service was quick you just go up and order. They have a separate window to order food. The ciders were pretty good and definitely would want to come here again some time. The place has a lot of space for sitting. They have a new large tables outside for larger parties.

Serena F.

Yelp
First time here over the weekend with my husband. We ordered two cider flights. Mine was more on the sweet, tart and crisp side while my husband's had a lot of ginger notes on all 4 of his. My favorite was the Tart Cherry. We also ordered pizza from Hesher's inside - coffin something. I can't remember the name but it was so good. There were 8 slices and between us, we finished it along with our cider flight. Customer service was very friendly. The place only had a few tables of people so my husband and I were able to find a table tucked into the corner for some privacy.

Yelp
Huge selection of ciders to try and plenty of space so great for groups. Super friendly bartender who can help you decide what to taste! If you can't make up your mind, give the dice a roll and let chance decide for you. Board games and colouring books are also available. Definitely would recommend this place for any after work happy hour or chill weekend afternoon.

Yelp
Got invited to this place by some friends, I never knew this place existed! There's so many ciders to choose from and a lot of interesting ones at that. They're separated by flavor profile (dry, sweet, ext) and it makes it super helpful if you're not a usual cider-drinker. The best deal by far is their flights, around $12 for a huge flight of cider! Plus it really is nice with how many exciting flavors they have to have a small amount of each. But just incase you're a beer enthusiast, there is a small selection of IPAs and such available as well. There's a HUGE cabinet of games to play, lots of seating for big groups, outdoor seating, and game room!! What a place! They have a pizza place inside as well that makes killer pies. Definitely an amazing spot! Drinks, games, and pizza!? What els do you need!

Lawrence H.

Yelp
MENU AND FOOD: They offer a wide variety of ciders ranging from dry, off-dry, semi-sweet, and sweet. They also have a short list of beer options. SERVICE AND ATMOSPHERE: Service was professional and friendly. Their indoor decor was appropriate and appealing. They have plenty of open seating throughout. PARKING: Located near Jack London Square, street parking can be difficult to find. They do have free parking as well as metered parking and parking structures nearby. IMPRESSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS: I had the Ace Mango, which is a sweet cider, and my friend had the Humboldt Pina Calina, which is a semi-sweet cider. Both were great, and it was a comfortable place to sit and chat. We will be back to try their other ciders!

Yelp
I forgot how much I like this place. I went before Covid and now I am back this Sunday night and it was not that crowded. Just as cute as I remember. Lots of seating inside, cool pinball machines in the back that you can play, funny and cute decor as well as games in the right wall to play. Bartender was fast and attentive. He asked us if we wanted any suggestions. We took our time since they have a lot of ciders on the menu. I like how they break it up into dry ciders, off-dry, semi-sweet and very sweet. This really helped me make my decisions for the flights. Crooked City has 2 of its own ciders that you can order - Apri-hended (apricot sour cider) and Straight Up Oakland Dry. Sadly these ciders were not that good so I will go with different ciders if you can. Anything from Humboldt is super delicious since I've been to their cidery. We also had to other ciders that were amazing which was the Schilling Cider Passport (passion fruit and pineapple) and Chai Me A River (must get!). There were so many different cider options that you could spend a long time here trying them all out! They also have beer and wine if you are into that instead. You can get 5 oz or 16 oz pours and the prices vary from $3-5 for the 5 oz pours. Can't comment on the food but did take a picture of a menu - haven't tried it before but looks like there a different sandwich options.

Stella Y.

Yelp
The ciders here are delicious! They have a huge variety and I tend to gravitate towards the sweet ones which I was not disappointed. I got a flight which comes with 4 and you pay by the individual glass. I don't remember exactly what I got unfortunately but i do know one of them is a pineapple and another one was something that was a tad spicy. All of their drinks that I had were light and refreshing. They have an indoor and outdoor so it was really nice to enjoy outside on a nice day. I would definitely come back to try more of their ciders. I wish they had more food instead of just pizzas though.

Yelp
Weekends call for Ciderdays! Crooked City Cider Tap House is a great place to explore an expansive menu in a laid-back ambiance with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Plus, the location is close to other cool activities and parking is easy to find. See below for more info: Expansive Menu: Always trying to look on bright CIDER of life, so I was ecstatic to come across a cidery in Oakland. There are many selections of ciders from fruity to more novelties you couldn't easily find. The house also has beer and boozy kombucha. You can order by the glass or do a flight of four five ounce selections, if you are feeling adventurous. Prices are $3 to $6.50 for the five ounces, $6-$12.5 for 10 ounces, $16-35 for 32 ounces, and $32-$75 for 64 ounces. My favorite was Tap #16, Serpentine Guava. What stood out about this fruity cider was the dryness and lack of added sugar, allowing the guava to shine. Laid-back Ambiance: The ambiance is laid-back attracting all crowds from dates to friend hangouts to family outings with the kids and furry friends. There are indoor and outdoor tables. Friendly and Knowledgeable Staff: Crooked City Cider Tap House staff are friendly and knowledgeable. All of my cider questions were answered, and I was able to learn some fun information. Fun Location with Ample Parking: Located a few blocks from Jack London Square, Crooked City Cider Tap House is ideal due to so many fun activities you can do before or after on your day or night out in town. There are plenty of street meters costing $2 an hour as well as free parking if you are looking to get some steps.

Yelp
A fun cidery right next to Jack London Square -- they have lots of options for beers and ciders. The staff are super nice and great with making suggestions. There's also a nice ambiance inside, with lots of board games to play. They have a mix of indoor and outdoor seating! The flight is super affordable and lets you try a couple of different ciders (with the added plus of this adorable glassware)! I really liked the peach berry cider and bad apple one -- not the exact names, but should be enough context clues to go off of. Overall, a fun spot to hang out!

Yelp
Love coming here to play some games, try new cider, and enjoy the delish pizza. We always have a good time

Yelp
Crooked City has 35 taps including fresh cider, beer, wine and mead. With so many amazing choices, you can always find a beverage that sounds good and tastes great! Hesher Pizza inside makes fantastic pizzas from scratch with all sorts of tasty toppings. And they make the best vegan pizza I have ever had!

Vicki L.

Yelp
Good atmosphere. Friendly staff. Large cider selection. A few wine by the can options and beer options too.

Chandni D.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday afternoon with a group of 4 and we were able to find a spot on the outdoor patio! We all got flights and really enjoyed all of our picks. For my flight I got the newtopia chai me a river, stem ciders chili guava, 101 cider house cactus rose, and the 2 rivers blood orange. They were all fantastic and unique in their own way however if I had to pick a favorite it would be the chili guava! It was such a unique flavor and you could taste both the guava and the hint of chili. 10/10 would recommend this place if you're looking for a fun day time activity and enjoy cider/beer!

Yelp
Really unique brewery with a pub grub twist! If you are a cider lover and vegan, this is the brewery stop for you and is one of my favorites for my friends who are vegan and want to go on brewery tours in Oakland. Crooked city cider has more than 30 taps of cider and beer! If you're an avid fan of cider, you'll have to visit this spot often because their list of ciders are always changing. One of their favorite challenges is to have people who 'hate' cider because they are so confident that their options will change their minds haha. So bring in that friend and show them what Crooked City Cider is all about! Kids are allowed to come in, as long as the adults are supervising and dogs are welcome on the patio. This taphouse has also been mentioned in Eater SF, KQED Foods' Taste This, and the SF Weekly. What really made this taphouse special though, is its partnership with Salvage Hausu. This eco-friendly restaurant was created to bring vegan Japanese food to Oakland using local produce and unique cooking techniques to bring you those umami flavors you love. If you're a fish-sushi lover, I would keep your mind open, the flavors you'll experience are truly one-of-a-kind and you might find yourself falling in love with SH's cuisine. If you go I highly recommend: 1. The rainbow roll with pickled daikon, red cabbage, carrot, avocado, and cucumber For cider: 1. Two broads kumquat may: aromas of kumquat peel, tart-apple-citrus flavor, and dry finish. Create food memories Isabelle Pinard

Yelp
I stopped by to pick up a cider tasting for a Yelp event but was so amazed with this place that I had to get more! I am a huge fan of ciders! I think they are far superior to beer hands down. (don't @ me!) The sad thing though is that cider mills are hard to come by and the ones I have been to are about 3 hours away from here. Not very convenient. Enter in Crooked City Cider Tap House to solve all of my cider needs! I mean there are a ton of ciders!!! not only on tap but in cans to enjoy! We ended up taking home a growler full of Mulled It from South City Cider. Think fall time, beautiful colorful leaves on the ground, wrapped in a blanket by the fire sipping on hot cider! But really its a cold hard cider! COVID Safety-Masks are required to be inside the business both by employees and patrons. Social distancing is enforced and hand sanitizer is provided. They also sanitize between each patron. Can't wait to come back when its not COVID and enjoy more!

Yelp
Pinball! Pinball is here! Having ridden my bike by this place many times, I had no idea until just recently that there's a whole section of this place devoted to pinball (and a couple of other arcade games also). It's not obvious looking in - it's in a little sectioned-off area to the left of the bar, and there are 7 pinball tables there now, both old and new, all in very good repair (I didn't have so much as a stuck flipper in 2 hours of playing). They've got a giant supply of ciders and a somewhat less-giant selection of beers, both of which are excellent to sip when your pinball drains. There's also some food that smelled awfully good if only I could tear myself away from the pinball tables long enough to eat some. Did I mention about the pinball though?

Shirley F.

Yelp
We walked by to check out the restaurants on the street, and decided upon this spot. The ambience was ONE OF A KIND, they had Frank Sinatra playing, old school board games, pinball machines, and mix and matched chairs. The sandwiches took quite some time to make, HOWEVER, the FRESH, FLUFFY bread definitely JUSTIFIED the long wait time, and they seemed to be understaffed. The Veg Out! sandwich was BOMB, the Portabella mushrooms were delicious and the sweet siracha sauce was ON POINT. Anyways, I'd definitely recommend y'all try their sandwiches out, they also get served in a reusable tin box that can be returned to the front when finished. o

Ying Xin F.

Yelp
A really cute cider brewery with lots of cider flavors. There was probably more than 30 flavors available and we were so spoilt for choice! My favorite flavor was the cider that had guava in it. Definitely recommend this, the flight is a little pricy at $16 and the cups are pretty small, but it's well worth the price.

Jennifer W.

Yelp
The only fully cider place in the bay area? Say less! I have already been here twice in the past month. They carry nearly every single flavor of cider known to man. The funniest ones to me are peanut butter and jelly and chocolate covered cherries. I am a big floral girl so I love the ones that had rose and lavender tones. I recommend getting one their tasting flights so you can try four of their flavors!

Preeti R.

Yelp
Great casual place to hang out with friends over some drinks. They have so many beer/cider options to choose from - we got 4 different flights among 5 of us which resulted in a diverse set of drinks at our table; I am not a huge beer drinker but there is something for everyone here and I really enjoyed my drinks. I chose the fruity/floral options and my favorites were the rose, lavender and lemongrass ciders. Would recommend this place if you are looking to hangout and enjoy some unique cider/beer.

Yiyi W.

Yelp
We hosted a Sunday morning event here today and it was such a fun experience. We got beermosas and cidermosas with a variety of the delicious pizzas! The Halloween decorations are impressive too. Dana is so great and very easy to communicate with. Our group loves the experience here and I personally would love to come back for more drinks in the future!

Jordan H.

Yelp
I've taken friends here for its versatility of awesome. They include the same reasons you should bring your friends here as well: Service: Some of the most intuitive, knowledgeable bartenders I've ever had the pleasure of sheepishly asking, "IDK what do you think?". Ownership: Owner is a bad ass boss and she deserves all of your hard earned cash. She was the only business in the area to really welcome my wife and I to the neighborhood. Won't forget that sincerity, and neither should you! Drank Drank Drank: If you don't like cider, trust this ginger-bearded freak, you'll like THIS mf cider. Their selection is tailored from sweet to super dry. If beer is your thing and you want to die without trying greatness, they have a few great taps on hand. Selection here shows they take their noble community service seriously. Food: They almost always have food service in their little guest kitchen. Call ahead - it seems like it's mostly vegan food which is good in small bites haha ('Murica). Dogs! Pupperinos are allowed outside and always so welcome!!

Yelp
WHEN: Friday @8pm My party of 6 wanted to hangout more nearby after happy hour at Dragon's Gate when we stumbled upon this spot. I don't usually do breweries or cider houses because I don't drink those. But I made an exception because they serve wine! Yay! So I come in and it's quite a spacious place with all sorts of board games! How fun! I also saw they sell very limited food and desserts. Here's what I got: SAUVIGNON BLANC - $12 I was skeptical at first because I felt $12 was a lot for wine. Then I looked at the glass where the marking were...it looked like 13oz? Then for the rest of the night that one glass enough--this was like me having 2 glasses of wine anywhere else! There was so much wine in this!! This is a great deal!!! My friend got the GIRL SCOUT COOKIE + CIDER PAIRING (4), and I thought that seemed like fun! The pairing seems very fitting! For example, they paired the Lemon-Ups with their blueberry cider, and the Thin Mints with their spearmint cider. I like it here a lot. I'd like to come here again with my friends!

Jeffrey S.

Yelp
I'll be honest: I'm not a huge beer fan. Sure, I'll drink it when out with friends, but my pallet leans sweet and away from hoppy. Instead, give me a good, sweet cider. I can drink those all day. Which is why I love coming to Crooked City; with over 30 drinks on tap and several dozen more in cans (in their newly installed refrigerated cooler), this is a cider drinker's dream. I've enjoyed the pizza from Town Square Eats (still available Wednesday through Saturday). One square is enough for most people (no judgement if you want more), and I've never had a bad one. But Sunday through Tuesday, Properly Seasoned Kitchen will serve food at Crooked City. At today's soft opening, I tried a street corn bowl, the tri-tip nachos, and a bite of my wife's bacon and brie burger and a few of her crooked tots Each of the dishes we ordered were excellent. The street corn was cut off the cob, cutting down the mess that comes from eating an elote. The bowl was packed with flavor, and I'm pretty sure there were more kernels than come in a single ear. But my favorite was the nachos. The tri-tip was so flavorful, I could have eaten an entire slab of it, with or without the chips. My wife did enjoy the burger and the tots. Despite all of the patio tables full of customers, our food didn't take too long to come out after we ordered. And they went well with our drinks: the Honest Abe Cidery Berry White (for her) and the Portland Cider Concord Grape (for me). After finishing our food, we bought a couple of canned ciders to take home to complete our meal. Who needs dessert when there are more sweet ciders to imbibe? Despite the weirdness that this pandemic brings, we had a wonderful time eating and drinking at Crooked City. I never felt unsafe, as all the staff wore masks and reminded guests to put their masks on when entering the building. The patio tables were very clean before we sat down, and the service was very friendly and prompt. Both Dana (Crooked City's owner) and Chef Kyle (from Properly Seasoned Kitchen) checked in on us during our meal. I'm looking forward to many more drinks and meals eaten here.

Alexis B.

Yelp
My buddy was in town and only drinks cider so I was looking for a place to grab some cider they had never tired. I had been to Crooked City before but was pleasantly surprised that they were still offering tastings to go! The selection was amazing - I think over 24 taps. My friend was so excited since usually breweries only have 1-2 ciders. They provided clean pencils and paper to make our selections and allowed plenty of social distance, distance. We handed in our slips of paper and the bar keep filled our glasses and marked each cider with the corresponding number. He was friendly and kept up with social distance practices. I definitely want to go back when we can sit and relax in the tap house and enjoy the space.

Jay S.

Yelp
Pretty solid location! I can't speak much to the coders because I don't drink cider -- was here for a group meet up -- but everyone else seemed to enjoy it! I really like that they have board games and will plan to come back for that. I'm a little bummed that on pictures somewhere I saw deviled eggs, got really excited, then nowhere to be found were deviled eggs...only pizza. Good pizza! But no eggs lol.

Monica E.

Yelp
I came here after a day in San Francisco to wind down and grab a drink. I am not from the city so this was recommended by friends. They are located walking distance from the ferry. We walked in and the atmosphere was chill which I liked. Causal, clean, there are games to play if you want. No line, easy to order. I noticed a sign that mentioned happy hour til 9pm for food and drinks. We get there about 8p and was told the kitchen was closed. So I am not sure why they have this sign. I was disappointed and hungry. I tried a peach cider, pineapple, apple and not sure the other one. I like sweet so they satisfied my taste. The peach one is the best. Now I understand closing time is closing time but man the lady working that night shut down the tv and music before 9p. She must have been ready to go lol. That wasn't very comforting, and we felt rushed. All in all this place is okay, a cool place to grab a drink after work.

Liora K.

Yelp
Women owned!!!! Literally the cutest spot. A big selection to choose from so something for everyone. Only negative is that they close early so definitely more of a day time spot.

Lisa S.

Yelp
OMG, how cute is this place?! I never knew this tap house was here and they serve ciders and beer both! Not to mention its a huge location to enjoy company with others! I was able to stop by to pick up some items for an event that we did virtually. The owner or manager was super sweet and was able to answer my questions about ciders and more! I told her I would come back after this SIP was over with my friends or perhaps I can sit outside with my friends! I took pictures of the menu so I can kind of get a peek to see what I want for my next visit. DEF will be coming back soon to enjoy a few drinks with friends!

James H.

Yelp
Cool spot to get your cider on. They do have a small selection of beers too. With about 35 on tap the majority are ciders ranging from dry, semi-sweet, sweet, fruity. They have something for everyone. They don't do samples but they do 5 oz pours of which you can get a flight of 4 to try. I liked the pineapple ciders and peach ciders. Forget the names of the others I tried. Service was really great and answered all my questions. They have plenty of seating and boardgames. A few pinball machines. They have food too. Street parking.

Andy N.

Yelp
Okay, so the wine tasting that we did immediately before this was great and all, but the real sips were taken here at Crooked City Cider Tap House. Judgements were not impeded I swear. This cider house was such a fantastic find. They have a whole bunch of ciders to choose from and they categorize them in a way that makes it easy to select. Each option is priced either as a small sample size or a full pint/glass. My friends and I ended up doing some flights and the pricing depends primarily on whichever options end up making it on board. We sampled so many and had a blast. There was a killer Raspberry Cider that was one of our favorites that evening so look out for that on the menus. I also loved the Humboldt Hibiscus. Many of the ciders were home grown here in California but you get a great variety of those from other spots around the world. Ask them what kind of taste you're looking for and they'll point you in the right direction. If you're looking for some bites, they have a separate kitchen inside the tap house that you can order bar food such as chips and pizza. Note that you have to order from that specific window and they deliver it to you afterwards. We shared a pepperoni pizza and were surprised at the quality of our doughy alcohol soaker. Definitely recommend checking this spot out for some fantastic ciders.

Anita D.

Yelp
We tried crooked city for the first time today and we will definitely be back. All the ciders we had were SO good, the customer service was great, and the vibe was very laid back. They have a ton of choices - everything from dry to sweet and beer and wine as well. They also have unique flavors like lychee cider, which was great! We are definitely coming back.

Maggie Y.

Yelp
The variety of Cider here is quite impressive! I recently came and some friends got several of the flight offerings. I love that you can basically build your own flights to your liking then order larger cups of the one you like! We all agreed that on our last visit the Grapefruit cider was the crowd favorite! I also quite enjoyed the black currant one as well. Overall, great atmosphere and vibes. I could *actually* hear my friends talk, and we were also allowed to borrow some darts to throw at the dart board. Would definitely recommend and come back again!

Chelsey C.

Yelp
This spot had a really chill atmosphere (also very covid restriction friendly) and delicious! There's a huge variety of ciders and some other drinks incase anyone in doesn't love cider. If you're looking for something different, the chocolate raspberry cider is AMAZING! I know it sounds weird, but the flavors work and while it's sweet, it's really smooth and worth it. Because of the variety i recommend doing a flight because the pricing is really affordable and allows you to try a variety.

Jonny M.

Yelp
I've had Crooked City Cider Tap House bookmarked since we heard about them from Brownrigg Hard Cider. They only make a few ciders themselves, mostly carrying a mix of California and Washington offerings. We dropped in on a Sunday afternoon (around 1:30pm). There was a handful of people inside but wow, the inside is open and spacious. There's pinball, darts, an arcade machine, shuffle board, board games, human Jenga and a few TV's that we're playing a Harry Potter movie. There's even a kids area with toys. Service is friendly but disappointing that they don't offer any samples. There's 27 ciders on tap (dry, off-dry, semi-sweet and sweet) along with a boozy kombucha, beer and wine options. If you want food, you can order from the separate window that houses Town Square Eats. - Two Rivers strawberry jam ($3.00 US) - we tried an off-dry. Smelled like jam but not much strawberry notes came through. - Hidden Star cherry seinfeld ($3.00 US) - cherry wasn't super sweet but bright, juicy notes. - Hemly sloughhouse jalapeno ($3.50 US) - this was our favourite. Jalapeño had a smooth, wine-like feel to it. A good sign in our books when you can actually taste the jalapeño. - Southern California cider life's a peach ($4.00 US) - this was our second favourite from our flight. Good peach notes; it reminded me of fuzzy peaches. - Hemly Pear Cider sloughhouse jalapeño ($7.00 US) - we bought one bottle for home. If you buy four, it works out to $6.00 US/bottle. If you want to try a variety of ciders, CCC is where it's at in Oakland.

Jude D.

Yelp
I love that this place has little flights of cider! They have a great menu with all kinds of interesting cider and lager flavors like limoncello and chocolate cherry. Also there's vegan sushi from Salvage Hausu in house! Win win!

Shirene B.

Yelp
I've been wanting to check this place out for awhile. After visiting a cidery in San Diego, I decided to take my friend who recently moved to San Diego from Oakland here. The space is pretty roomy. They have dart boards, pinball machines, jumbo jenga and other board games. They also have two TV's plus a projection screen where they will be screening Oakland Panthers IFL games. There are at least 20 ciders on tap they also have beer and wine on tap. There's also a kitchen that serves pizza. For my first visit I did a tasting of four ciders and shared a pizza. Everything was really good. I especially liked the Life's a Peach cider. The second time I visited this venue was for the Oakland Panthers Season Ticket Holder kick off party. There were prizes, food and awesome energy. They even had cider cocktails. I definitely look forward to adding this place to my rotation of watering holes.

Yelp
I was in the neighborhood and decided to check them out. I was surprised that Grilled Cheeze guy was there for sandwiches to go. I had bought 2 Ciders from Sacramento from the fridge case which were Pomegranate and Nectar Cider. The place seems like a fun place to hang out pre Covid, They do have patio seating and plenty of Beer and Ciders in Tap. Devin, the bar keep, was super nice and. Informative. I will definitely be by to try more Ciders and perhaps try more of their variety of Ciders. For the record, I did get some Grilled. Cheese sandwiches to go, as well.

Yelp
Came here for trivia night Tuesday and had lots of fun! It was a pretty sparse crowd which made it easier to hear. The ciders are fun to try, and really taste like their names! I sampled a jalapeño one and an apple one--tasted like I was eating fresh versions of exactly that. Guess what? We won! Made the trivia night even better with a free T-shirt and free round of tiny ciders for next time. I have to come back just to make my way through the ciders list! They also have so many games, board games, and big enough tables to play on with a group of friends. They also have a few small TVs playing the game and corners where you can sit, either alone or have a nice spot for a date. Check out their website, there's always something happening here!

Yelp
Service terrible!!!! We were waiting for our orders more than 45 minutes . I Oder a spicy tuna rolls and I asked the clerk if it could be no spicy and she said yes after a long waiting time when they called my name the food was super spicy . My friend order a con bucha they served her galas no full and they charged 6:50 $ and because did not want to deal with change charged 7$ When we ask for a knife they say they don't have a knife . I needed to ask for napkins too. We felt we owned a favor when we paid for a terrible service and so so food no even close what I specify . I don't recommend this place . Outside is a sign that say come in support our business that is was the reason we came in . We did a really bad choice .

Yelp
Love love love this place!! Cider is my go to drink and Crooked City is a magical place with so many ciders to choose from! They have a large selection of cider on tap as well as bottled so you can take some home to enjoy later. Will definitely be coming back!!

Yelp
I went here last month to pick up a cider and beer flight for a Yelp event. - I was impressed that everything was out there - minimal contact. - Everyone wore a mask. - We could still ask questions or recommendations since we were newbies to cider. We came back last week because I narrowed down two brands that I liked. Luckily, it was in stock and same great service as last time. Once this pandemic allows us to go sit down and have a cider flight, we will definitely go back. For now, it's fun to trek to Jack London Square to pick up some goodies.

Yelp
Love the selection here! Came for the first time today and they have my favorite cider and so many more to try! Also a few snack and food options available. 10/10 will come back next time I'm in Oakland!
