Really neat place, the seafood all was super fresh and generously sized. We got a couple ribeye steaks and soft shell crabs from their frozen selections, some J.O. blackening seasoning, and soft shell batter. Can't wait to cook up the soft shells we got!

We’ve been going there for the last 20 years and before that I used to go there when I was single and yesterday was incredible the price I got and the crab you’re incredible. I should’ve just got one bush instead of one and a half because I fed my neighbors two of them And my wife and me ate a lot and she’s up this morning eating up a storm already at 10 o’clock I recommend that place royally and we also bought a burger. You should’ve lowered the price on the burger just a little bit, but it was excellent and we recommended to all and anybody that asked me where to buy Crabs. I tell him where Crosby’s if you live around here Peace

I love Crosby Crabs my first experience with them was a great one. I always order my crabs them I do not cheat on them and go anywhere else. They are might always my go to place. They are very respectful and very nice to me and husband. some people say that they’re very, very rude and very prejudice I have not seen that at all. I love their crabs. Their crab is always fresh to me and they’re good me and my family always order from them and they will always be my go to place unless they go out of business. I love you guys.

Highly recommended fish market in a small building off the main road. Lots of fresh fish choices and other meats. The crab sandwich is recommended but not the right time to try it. We will have to come back another day.

Crosby’s is the best seafood spot in the area. You can’t beat their lobster rolls!!

For my birthday this past week we ordered 2 1/2 dozen jumbo or extra large crabs from these people. Most of the crabs were around 5 to 6 inches across. We had about two or three heavy ones from the whole bunch. I feel totally totally Ripped off. I’ve been buying blue crabs from Virginia and Maryland for the last 40 years. I can’t believe how ripped off I feel and how disappointed. Please beware never order from these people! I paid a total of $339!

This place might not look impressive from a quick drive by but your eyes would deceive you... Inside there is fresh sea food to to be bought and enjoyed! Crosby Crab Co. has crabs, several kinds of shrimp, and fish fresh. It also carries many types of spices and marinades to allow you to create the exact type of dish you and your family are craving. And if your there and realized you didn't eat lunch yet, your in luck... They can make you up a very tasty crab cake sandwich. (It's the first time I've had one that didn't need cocktail sauce or tartar to compliment it)... The sandwich comes with either coleslaw or their homemade cucumber salad... I chose the cucumber salad which complimented that sandwich perfectly and I would strongly recommend it. If You're looking for quality fresh seafood to cook fordinner or just a quick bite to eat check this place out.

I recently tried a lobster roll that had been hyped up as a premium treat, but honestly, it left me feeling underwhelmed. At **$30**, you’d expect an exceptional experience—but instead, I got a small roll that felt more like a pricey tease. The lobster itself was fresh and tender, but the portion size left me wanting more. I did get a side with the roll, but it wasn’t much to write home about—the portion was disappointingly small and did little to round out the meal. On top of that, **no drink was included**, which only added to the sense that this was an overpriced snack rather than a satisfying meal. If you’re looking to splurge on lobster, there are better value options out there. While it wasn’t awful, it simply didn’t live up to its cost or the expectations it set. Not sure I’d be rushing back anytime soon.

I love this place. I get the medium male crabs without the ole bay - I like to dip mine in a sauce that I make! Just delicious and never a disappointment

Very easy spot to get to, large parking lot as well as a few tables all with umbrellas in case you get order food that's already cooked and want to enjoy it piping hot as it's ready. Ordering here was extremely easy--we ordered on a Sunday. We called to reserve a dozen and a half large Maryland Blue Crabs. (Roughly $80ish a dozen I recall) We called, gave our credit card (you can pay ahead or wait until you get there) and was told we can pick it up at anytime since we are getting it live. (You're able to opt it to have them steam the crabs with seasoning for you..LOVE that!) Once we arrived picking up the live crabs was a breeze as it was already packaged for us. We did however decided to pick up jumbo prawns and have it cooked with seasoning for us! It was $24.99/lb (equals to 4-6 shrimps). We drove it home and had it and it was still warm, cooked perfectly and so meaty. We also purchased Crosby's xtra spicy seasoning for our crabs and it was perfect! Nice little kick to it, for someone like me that likes spicy, could be a notch spicier, but nonetheless still truly enjoyed their crab seasoning! Nice shop, cozy but big enough where you don't feel too cramped. All the fresh seafood displayed once you get in and staff members immediately there to greet you. Definitely a spot I'd be happy to make the drive for again!

Amazing food, amazing people!! Everyone works very hard to give you the best seafood in Prince William County, Virginia!! They put a lot of love in tgeir food! I know because I have actually worked tgere a few summers during college and tgey definitely have a whole ton of regulars and it was great catching up with customers. It is ALWAYS like that there!! They love their regulars!! So get on over there, try their food, become a regular!! You will not regret it!!

My favorite place for seafood. Steamed spiced shrimp are always good- I'm partial to the mediums for the taste, over the large. They have HUGE prawns and an excellent selection of oysters. You'll also like the live lobsters, and some tasty local blue crabs (which can be pricey compared to some other local spots but the quality is excellent). If you like good fish, you'll like their selection. They are usually well stocked w salmon, tuna, swordfish, trout, halibut, tilapia, and red snapper. They also have snow, Alaskan, Dungeness, and soft shell crabs. If you don't see what you are looking for, be sure to ask the team there- they can order a wide variety of less commonly purchased fish. They have essential tools, and cooking supplies if you need seasoning, batter mixes, breadcrumbs, sauces, and soups. Nice beer selection as well.

I have been ordering my.Christmas Eve seafood from Crosby's for almost 40 years. The quality and service have always been outstanding.

My go to for oysters, especially the salt point. They will steam crab legs for you. The legs have always pulled nicely and not been watery. The 5 stars is solely for the quality of the product. The staff, especially them summer kids, could use training. You're stuck if you want to know more about your oysters, such as the difference in taste/size/cooking options. Not all oysters are great on the half shell, some are better in stew or fried. Duh. I don't need a guided trip into how the beds are maintained but answering a question correctly just seems captain obvious.

I love this place! So thankful to have it around. Lobster rolls are amazing, and the freshest seafood you'll find!

Always great seafood, we have bought from Crosby's many times, always fresh and we are grateful since we don't have a great seafood restaurant close to us!

Haven't had the pleasure of trying yet however I placed an order for a gathering that was cancelled due to CoVID. I was so sorry to have to cancel because every time I called Crosby's the staff was so helpful and understanding. There is so much on the menu that I look forward to trying. Hope to get to Crosby's in the spring.

Best softshell crab I have ever eaten. Definitely worth the long drive from Falls Church.

I ordered crabs and oysters from Crosby's today. This was my first time ordering. The service was great! This is by far the best crab spot I've found in the Woodbridge area. The crabs were heavy and sooo good! I can't believe this is my first time trying them. They have a new regular customer. My hubby put half of the oysters on the grill and ate the rest raw.

Got a dozen A1 male crabs. Full of meat and very yummy. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves crabs

My partner wanted blue crabs (specifically female ones) for her birthday dinner, so I was scouring the internet for the best place to find them in the area for awhile. A lot of the other places seemed pretty inconsistent in the quality or service, but I happened upon Crosby's Crab Company and saw lots of good things. We called before coming and placed an order for a dozen female blue crabs (various sizes) and 1 dozen oysters. The actual location in Manassas is pretty far from where I am located, so it took about 45-55 mins each way to pick up the food. Service was good calling in and picking up the food. The staff there are young, but helpful. Lots of different options of seafood ranging from crabs, fish, scallops, oysters, etc. Food: - 1 dozen female blue crabs steamed ($25) - The crabs were good and seemed pretty fresh with sweet meat inside. The seasoning wasn't too excessive which I enjoyed. My friends like the female crabs, but I would probably prefer getting the medium or large sized males just so it's less work for the meal. - 1 dozen oysters unshucked ($18.5) - Ordered half a dozen of Wellfleet, MA oysters and Raspberry Point, PEI. They gave us extra oysters also which was really nice. They were very fresh and had a good salty taste. I didn't realize you could get them shucked until after coming home, so I will definitely do that next time. The overall quality of the seafood was great and the prices are not bad at all. I would definitely order from them again despite the long haul home. It's definitely worth it!

I wish they were closer to me, but I was nearby so I picked up six beautiful softshell crabs--which they cleaned for me, some beautiful Gulf shrimp and some crab meat. We ate the soft shells tonight and they were huge, super fresh. The best I've ever had. can't wait for the other goodies!

Stopped by here to get some raw snow crab legs and they did not disappoint. The size and quality were fantastic and the price was still much cheaper than any seafood boil joint in the area. It's a small place off the main road so keep an eye out for the signs. I'll be back most definitely!

Man, I can't say enough about this company! We've had so many crab feasts they've provided and every one is a blessing. The crabs are meaty (especially the #1's) and the spices just right. And they never got weird or paranoid during the plandemic. Just called to order some for tomorrow and the young man who answered was super polite and told me "You have a blessed day" at the end. I truly love this business. My only hope is that the prices don't keep going up as we see more inflation under Biden but I believe they will do all they can to control prices. Thank you, Crosby's!!! ...update! Service speedy again and The crabs were as good as ever! More than enough with all the meat inside! Thx again!!

As much as it pains me, I may have to shift back to VERNON & STEVE'S CRABS or CrabPlace.com. This season Crosby has been rationing their sale of xl male crabs to a dozen at a time. Today when I called I was told I could only order HALF a dozen. Seriously?! The last few times I have ordered I received more claws than anything else. Just a subpar way to add filler when you order a half bushel or more. While I appreciate the quality of their crabs in the past, I feel like they've fallen short this season and will be taking my business elsewhere.

DELICIOUS! We stopped here for lunch. We had the shrimp, slaw, crab cake, shrimp cake, gurkin salat, and lobster roll with lobster bisque. The lobster roll was the winner hands down. It was amazing! Everything else was really good too. The salat was like a cucumber salad, it was really crunchy and good. The shrimp were phenomenal. The crab cake was FULL of crab, so yummy. There is no inside seating, but there are a couple of picnic tables outside. We would absolutely stop here again.

Crabs are really good they just overcharge me but it'll be taken care off..I waited 20 minutes but they would come out to your vehicle.,

My family has been ordering crab bushels from Crosby's for a couple years now and as the one who's always placing the order and picking it up- I've always had very friendly encounters with employees who work there. You're pretty much in and out paying for your order and they ask you for your car make and color to have someone bring out the crabs to your car. I think they pack it fresh each time you come in since I always wait around 3-5 min for the box to come out in the parking lot.

We purchased a bushel of the live crabs. They were fresh and delicious when we boiled them. A bit pricey than what we're used to, but there aren't many options around here.

Went there for the first time. We ordered half bushel crabs. It felt like we got more than expected. They pack the box so well. The seasoning is perfect, not too salty. We also ordered the lobster bisque and crab cake sandwich. Definitely going back there again. Staffs are friendly. They alsThey even offer to bring your order in the car. There are picnic tables with umbrella in the area in case you want to eat there.

We ordered a dozen #1s. Probably got three. The rest were #2s. With a $30 price difference between the two sizes, it was a total scam. Requested the crabs cooked and seasoned to be eaten outside. Would've been nice if they provided parchment paper or some sort of covering for the table. Bring your own table cover if you plan on eating outside.

Fresh product, accommodating service, in and out quickly even though we were first timers and needed guidance. Will most certainly go back. The price was very competitive as well.

Wow! Picked up a bushel of live xl male crabs earlier today. The quality was over the top and well worth the price. Will absolutely be making the trip for all my live crab purchases in the future.

We got crabs and shrimp here. I loved the shrimp, they were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The crabs were out of season so we got a variety of sizes. I felt like they were a tad bit too salty, but that's an issue with most seasoned crabs.

Great little seafood place. My fiance and I stopped by here after a day on the water, and wanted to continue the theme by eating some crabs. When we got there, there was a line of about 10 people, but it went by pretty quick (looked longer since people were staying 6ft apart). The workers are all very friendly and fast. We ordered half a bushel of 2's and they were very reasonably priced. To maintain social distancing, we were asked to wait in our car and they would bring our order to us. The crabs were well cooked and seasoned. Would highly recommend if you want to get your crab fix.

Best fresh food in PWC to take home. Not a fan of their chowder tho. Will open and prepare fresh oysters to go! Staff is very helpful and they will cut portions Wish they would cook there.

ive been eating their crabs on and off for some years, unfortunately im not always in the nova area but when i do come into town i knw no matter the season i can rely on crosbys to serve up some delicious crabs I LOVE IT HERE !!!!! and the customer service has always been on point

This place is a hidden gem and well worth the drive. The prices are competitive and seafood couldn't be better. I get crabs/ shrimp here every summer raw and steamed. Place an order over the phone for an extra special lunch. This place is just as good, if not better than the Wharf. Who wants to drive to DC just for crabs? No thanks, I'd rather go to Manassas. Added bonus: the staff is very knowledgeable about their products and helpful with suggestions about serving size, planning, etc.

Update: they may have redeemed themselves. Thanks CC. They used to be very good but last few months have been disappointing. $190 half bushel and no choice female or male. Customer service disappeared, and what's with the military only discount? Haven't seen one vet in the store.

Service I Pilsner call overly helpful or friendly.. BUT the product was tasty. Seafood is expensive these days folks. It is what it is. But the large shrimp were a good deal even at current prices. I enjoyed the oysters (be mindful you pay 2$ to have some shucked) and we enjoyed the crab. We ate everything outside on the picnic tables and washed off with the hose behind the building. They do offer a few lunch specials but it's a shame they don't have a few more sides so those who don't mind eating at the picnic table can make a meal of it.

I asked if they gave a military discount and they said yes as long as you show the proper I. D. I showed my I. D. but on the receipt they gave me it only has the total transaction. The receipt doesn't show if you got a discount or not and the amount of the items I bought is not shown. So you just lost a customer.

It's has been many years sense I have purchased crabs from Crosby's crab and I decided last week to get a bushel of #2's. Wow they was fantastic, best crabs I've had in long time. They really did a great job on cooking them and the service was out standing.

They have a great variety of all seafood everyone here is super friendly and very knowledgeable there crabs are cooked when ordered and not reheated.

One of those little places that deliver a BIG surprise! They sell fish, shrimp, scallops, crabs and they do seafood boils! So it was a bit disappointing, however we left with the fattest colossal saltwater AND fresh water shrimp. Cooked them at home and it was DELICIOUS! Definitely a place to buy some fish etc and cook it at home. Will be back. Pity no pics!!

Ive been coming here for a few years and am usually pleased with the seafood. Decent selection and the crabs are usually fresh. This time however they were not, and after ordering 2 1/2 dozen, I put them in the car and my wife said, "I smell something bad". I didnt smell it at the time but when we got home we opened the crabs to find a distinct ammonia smell. They werent fresh at all. I tasted one just to try it out, and it was mushy and had the ammonia smell throughout the batch. Also ordered 1 1/2 of shrimp and they were also mushy and not a good texture. I only ask for fresh, and am not picky, but very disappointed this time. Threw the whole order away. Not pleased. Friendly people though, first time this has happened to me at Crosby's.

A great place to get fresh fish and crabs. We've been coming down for sometime and our neighbors have been coming here for many many years. Great family establishment. Every year we do a large cookout and the fish is always a big hit.

First trip to Crosby's this season. Checking on their steamed crabs they mention a special on the cold # 2 males. Bought a dozen to pick for crab cakes and they threw in some extra claws which I use for crab soup. Nice and full which resulted in over a pound of backfin/lump and enough claw meat for vegetable crab soup. Thanks guys. For around $18 I got the best deal around. I trust there seafood quality and prices.

Tried this place today. Customer service was great. Disappointed with the size of the crabs. I ordered #1 male crabs and expected to be at least 5 inches; however, it is about 3.5 inches.

A good variety of seafood along with things to cook it up right! Steamed crabs a biggie.
