Fine dine restaurant and once you enter inside, you get the feeling of dining here on a special occasion like birthdays or anniversaries. Huge seating space too. Due to shortage of time, we couldn't have much of food, so we just wanted to have couple of beers, which was totally worth it. I see that even beers are towards little highly priced over a dollar extra. Parking was little problematic, as we couldn't find dedicated parking space for crossbuck brewing. They wont pick up call either!

Great location for a Birthday dinner. Menu has a wide variety for everyone. Sunshine on the patio was nice. Service, Apps, Dinner, Drinks, and Dessert were Fabulous!

The food and drinks are so delicious at this taproom & steakhouse!! We tried the chicken sandwich, steak & frites, crème brûlée, buttered mashed potatoes & a roasted corn with candied jalapeños. The atmosphere & service were top notch. We can’t wait to go back :)

Crossbuck might honestly have the best lineup of brews on the Eastside. The stone fruit IPA (hazy schmazy) has me in an absolute chokehold. Their waiting staff is beyond friendly, and great at their jobs. I crave the crossbuck burger with fries and ranch at least 5 times a week. At the LEAST. Totally worth a visit for burgers and brews without breaking the bank.

Warning! Hours on Google Maps are incorrect. Thanks for updating your new hours! Oh wait you didn't and I drove a bunch of coworkers down from Bothell for dinner last night! Pretty poor Management to let that happen, sounds like the change was made a couple of months ago... no signs on the door of restaurant either, they are still posting their old hours no indication that they are not open Tuesday and Wednesday anymore.

First time visiting Crossbuck and will not be going back. Our son ordered the fried chicken sandwich and it was delivered well under cooked and very pink. Our server apologized and took the sandwich. I'm guessing the manager returned a bit later to deliver another sandwich and didn't say much other than sorry. They didn't comp his meal or even offer anything and on top of that they add a 20% service charge to every check. I've never seen this ever for a group less than 8 and then was told that's primarily for the kitchen staff. $76 later for tip and service charge is a complete joke! The food is just OK at best but was not worth what we paid. Will not go back and certainly will not recommend.

Great flip side to Walla Walla Steakhouse. Casual atmosphere with a great selection of house beers and the food is fantastic. I like that you can order from the fancy side (Steakhouse menu) if you want, but can get a solid burger or shaved steak sandwich. Both of which are FANTASTIC! Our server was great as well, and the prices on the tap house side are pretty reasonable. One thing to note is they have a "service fee" that is automatically charged, so additional tip isn't necessary but always appreciated for great service.

Lived near here for sometime and was excited to try out the place, we had a reservation and it was not a busy weeknight. Unfortunately the service here is the worst in Woodinville. The waited 20 minutes to be greeted by a server, another 20 for drinks then we spent so much time waiting for basic requests (a side of sauce or the check) we finally had to fend for ourselves. The server and staff were just talking together. It was incredibly disappointing and I NEVER write reviews. Also, we were here for my husbands birthday- they did have a cute sign for him but were never given the option for dessert nor the time of day so we opted to order to go from Red Robin down the street WHILE SITTING THERE.

Our book club met for our monthly meeting at Crossbuck Taproom. Crossbuck is part of the modern community style apartments that are popping up everywhere nowadays; located at the bottom. Parking was a hassle. I found parking across the street on a side street. Outdoor seating is available. Sun umbrellas are provided to help block the elements. Indoors modern and has the capacity to seat large parties. Indoors, one can dine at the Walla Walla Steak Co or the Taproom. Menu items can be ordered from either restaurant regardless of which side you have been seated on. Happy Hour is offered only in the Taproom and the bar Tues-Thurs from 5pm-7pm and Fri-Sat from 4pm-5pm. A full bar is offered for those who do not like craft beer or wine. There is an automatic 20% service charge added to each tab to help cover the cost of health insurance, 401K and education. This mandatory service charge is irritating. During my visit I had a couple NoPac American IPA beers for $5 (hh). For my meal I chose the Crossbuck Burger for $15 (hh): 1/2 pound ground Brisket, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, bacon, white cheddar cheese and garlic aioli. I chose my burger as a lettuce wrap. I opted for a side salad instead of the fries. Service was friendly. Overall, prices are inflated. Food is standard, nothing exceptional. Unwarranted service charges are applied.

Crossbuck Taproom is a really cool spot. It's a beautiful restaurant with modern, rustic vibes and upscale dinning. I would return here for the ambiance and atmosphere alone, even if it was just a drink - it's worth it. We made a reservation, and they got us in right away, no waiting. The food - it was good, and they did have a variety of options to choose from. We had a group of six, and everyone enjoyed what they ordered, there were no complaints. I especially enjoyed their sides, the truffle macaroni and cauliflower au gratin were both delicious. Service could be improved. Our waiter did a fantastic job when he made it to our table, but he was waiting on too many tables at once. When you are paying for an experience like this, service needs to be the primary focus as it will make or break peoples experience. We would have happily ordered more drinks or dessert had the service not been so slow. The restaurant was extremely busy since it was a Saturday night, but I hope this is something they will resolve. Overall, I recommend checking it out. I will also be back and hope for quicker service. Come here for a date night or to catch up with friends and enjoy.

Have been a few times now since this place opened, the service and food have been very good and consistent. This latest meal definitely made me write this review because the flavor was so good! Have had the sweet onion soup a few times and very good each time. The Caesar salad is also good. This latest occasion was a mix of soup, Brussels sprouts and steak frites. The sprouts were divine, some of the best in the area. The steak for the main course was cooked perfect (medium for me, medium rare for my friend). The fries are fresh and delicious. The drinks here are great too, the cocktails are well made. The service was great, always being checked on, and the food was served very quickly too. Next time I'll save room to try a dessert from here! They do charge a default 20% service charge, but I felt like the overall service was worth it. Not the cheapest meal, but it is definitely worth the treat. It has a nice vibe too, good open space. There is parking around the area, or park underground and validate your parking at the check in desk.

This was our second visit to Crossbuck and sadly came away equally disappointed... we were seated upstairs on a very slow Saturday evening, and waited a full 5+ minutes before seeing our server. The menu was very small - We ordered drinks and entrees at once. Drinks were decent but $18... burgers were just OK - they looked impressive but lacked flavor! Service was mid the whole evening - we were in and out in 55 minutes and the bill was $130 for 3 burgers and 2 drinks. This place has promise but we won't be back a third time! :(

GIST: Our bill was over $200 for 4 of us and since it wasn't memorable in any way, I don't think we'll be back. Nice idea, but the prices don't match up and something's missing. I left feeling like we got gypped. APPS: I LOVE El Gaucho and was pleasantly surprised to find their Tenderloin Diablo on the menu! The flavor was spot on and the Brussels sprouts were pretty good. MAINS: My family said their food was decent, a burger and some steaks. I tried the black bean burger and it was what I'd expect, similar to the ones from Costco, which are pretty good with that spicy little kick. BUT, I clearly got the tail end of the French fry drop and was surprised to see that the pathetic display of small, crusty, driveled up fries made it to the table that way. Fries are important! Everyone else's fries looked great. Such an easy detail to remedy and they didn't, so I was disappointed with that. SPACE: The building is new, so of course, it's lovely.

Wife and I have been wanting to stop in to Crossbuck and finally found the time. Service was good, atmosphere is good for a modern pub style feel and the food was OK. Solid 3 rating. It was nice to have bread served for a change, I miss that part if the meal. We started with crab cakes for an app and they were very tasty, although a bit pricey. I had the Fish and chips, the fish were way over breaded (see pics), unfortunate too because it is a tasty batter. Wife had the steak frites, steak cooked very nicely and flavorful prime top sirloin. Both is us had fries and they are OK, nothing special though, was hoping for a high quality fry. I did try their own Hazy IPA and really enjoyed it.

Simply DELICIOUS dinner. The creamiest tastiest scallops I have EVER had; very well balanced crab cakes and a super succulent prime rib. Wow. Excited to get back. soon!

We really enjoyed our time here! This is the "casual" side of the Walla Walla Steak Co. Nearly the same menu but more of a casual and family friendly setting. They usually have a little more availability for walk-ins as well. Things to note: there is a parking garage and they will validate your parking. They do add an automatic 20% tip - the waitress didn't call this out when giving us the checks so could be missed by others. This is a great addition to the Woodinville area! Definitely more options than just steak and everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and delicious! Also a very extensive drink list!! Staff were all very friendly and were always really quick to clear plates from the table. We ordered: Spinach Artichoke Dip ($18) - delicious and a great sharing app! Definitely need more bread for this as the amount of veggies and bread that come with it is not enough. Crispy Brussels ($14) - perfectly crisp and the mustard seed vinaigrette was the perfect mix. Steak Frites ($34) - 8oz of steak cooked as requested with a good amount of hand cut fries! Crossbuck Burger ($21) - meat cooked perfectly with a lot of toppings. Good amount of hand cut fries too! Black Bean and Lentil Burger ($18) - for those that don't love beef, this was such a great option! Hand made patty with so much great flavor! Not bland at all and extremely filling! Can't go wrong with the hand cut fries too! Corned Beef ($35) - we came St Patrick's Day weekend and they had Corned Beef on the menu! Couldn't pass this one up and glad we didn't! Perfectly cooked and very filling! Washington Apple Crips ($15) - always a fan of Apple crisps! This was cooked perfectly, good texture on top and a scoop of vanilla ice cream with a caramel drizzle! Tableside Flambé Banana Foster ($14) - bananas foster is one of my favorite desserts! They cooked table-side and a good amount of ice cream with bananas to share with a group!

Went last week and was informed "crossbuck is closed, we are just Walla Walla Steakhouse now" sad to loose a decent burger spot. Walla walla is fine just nice to have a more casual/cheaper option.

Any place with less than 4 stars is usually best avoided, there's a reason for the low rating. Walla Walla Steak and Crossbuck are no exception. We've been here twice before and really liked it. The food was great and the service was very good (though I don't like mandatory service charges and they have a 20% one). On our last visit (and it will indeed be our last), what a disappointment. The food was just not very good and we ordered the same thing we had on our first two visits, fish & chips. Previously flavorful and fresh, we found the food this time quite tasteless. Also, it seemed like smaller portions than we remembered. Gone were the hand cut fries (still listed on the menu though), replaced with some terrible coated frozen fries you'd expect at a cheap bar or snack counter. The fish was equally bad, it was bland, the seasoned batter this time seemed completely unseasoned, and the coleslaw also devoid of flavor, now just chopped cabbage and mayo; terribly under or unseasoned as well. This is an expensive restaurant, especially considering the service charge. I'll add here that they quite clearly do not care about their customers or feedback. Notice there are no responses here at all. I contacted them directly, emailing the Woodinville manager as I prefer to do that than leave a negative review but my email went without any answer whatsoever, not even a simple sorry, please give us another try. Nothing. As I said, it was our last visit.

Excellent portion sizes, even for happy hour. Very friendly staff! I would give it 4.5 stars for limited beer selection on happy. But the prices make up for it.

I love what they've done with the old building. It's open and modern. A really nice space. The staff does an amazing job, excellent service and very friendly. Their beer isn't very good. Their dated brewing approach compares to what you'll find at McMenamin's. The food is fun but overly rich and pricey. The 20% service fee was earned by the staff but it still bothers me. Had I not been paying attention I could have easily tipped another 20 by accident. Lame. Keep the staff, change the concept.

We were anticipating the opening of Crossbuck Brewing and we so excited to try it. We went for dinner opening weekend and had a wonderful experience. - Setting and location were beautiful. The old Woodinville schoolhouse building was re-done to make Crossbuck Brewing, which is connected to Walla Walla Steak Co. I loved all the finishings. It has great ambiance. The only thing I wish the location had was more parking options. - Service was excellent. We were greeted upon arrival and taken to our table. Our server was kind, attentive, and explained the menu well. She checked in on us multiple times and could not have been better. The sommelier also stopped by to talk through the wines which was so nice. - Food was delicious. We got the crab cakes to start and the Thiessen burger from the Crossbuck menu and the corn on the cob side from the Steak Co menu. You can order from either menu on each side, the server explained. All good was delicious! A little pricy, but worth it for the nice restaurant it was. - Drinks selection 10/10 - There is an extensive wine list with so many great choices by the bottle and glass! My husband enjoyed the beer. - Family - The restaurant was family friendly (we took our two young kids and saw many other families) but would also be great for an adult only night out. Overall, I'd highly recommend Crossbuck and am looking forward to going back!

The food and service are excellent. Ask for Leah, very knowledgeable about the food and drinks. My wife and I split the Sirloin.

Service was good. Food was "meh". We had multiple orders but the best part for us were the appetizers: the vegetables and fries were all wonderful! Fish and Chips lacked the fish, crab cakes we weren't expecting curry flavor, and the prime rib sandwich was dry. We'll try again but probably not consistently.

Food was edible. Wait staff was super nice. I ordered a $19 burger. It came out greasy and over cooked. (Ordered pink and it came out no pink and kinda greasy/chared) it was still edible so I didn't say anything. Bill comes and there is a 20% gratuity, and that is fine people need a living wages. But then I'm told the wait staff is underpaid and they don't get to keep the gratuity. So the not even average burger ends up being almost $30 which is totally ridiculous. Won't be back.

We visited Crossbuck this afternoon. I had a Birthday reward to use, usually we sit on the more casual side but today we sat on the Steak co. Side in the bar. There wine selection ifs better than most WA restaurants and my husband had two whiskey cocktails he loved. From our appetizer to our main course all the food was delicious. ALL of the staff were very professional. One of the managers even came over and spoke with us about our meal and experience. Highly recommend. Tip: If you don't like waiting for a table visit on a Sunday it's a bit more calm.

Went here with my wife for my birthday, great food and atmosphere. What really turned me off though was the automatic 20% gratuity that was added to our bill, which the server never mentioned and I didn't notice until the next day. So our waiter had a good night and received 40% in tips for doing her job. Tipping has gotten a bit out of hand. If you're going to add it automatically, fine, but state so and don't add a tip line to the bill. Super unethical of management. For this reason alone I'm not coming back. Good luck.

So disappointed, with so many choices for quality breweries around the area crossbuck fails. It's tucked in the boujiee school house district of woodinville. The brewery is split with a steak house which is odd on its own. The place looks amazing, but the beers are mediocre at best. The burgers are second rate and on par with Dicks, which is not what you would expect. The food is also a little over priced for a brewery, then you are forced to pay 20% on top. 15% goes to your server and the rest goes to the front of the house and helps pay for health care and benefits. I think that's great but how about you do that without blind siding the customers until the end of their meals. Their prices are high enough that as a company they should be able to offer those benefits without the forced 20% to your tab. We waited all summer for Crossbuck and was really looking forward to the experience. With so many brewery options you may want to skip Crossbuck.

Plan on an automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill regardless of you party size or the level of service. Staff are new and defensive regarding the product they are delivering. Example is a less than reasonable wine pour for a single glass of wine. Cilantro was not washed in prime rib sandwich so you get sand with each bite. Save your money for another spot until they get it figured out.

crossbuck brewing & taproom woodinville was amazing. just opened and is a beautiful establishment. two floors, great ambience and shares a roof with walla walla steak co. you can order from either menu. for a more casual and relaxed experience you can drink/dine at crossbuck. for a more fine dining and formal affair reserve a seat at walla walla steak co. it was a 90 degree plus day and i wanted to wear more casual attire so we opted for crossbuck. be aware that we were able to order from both menus. the food was fresh, hot and flavorful. drinks were cold and crisp. being that it was there first weekend opening i could see the staff were still learning the menu/service styles. overall a definite go to!

Jist visited Crossbuck for the first time tonight with my wife, son and his girlfriend and we will never go back. Our server was very attentive and that is the only good thing I could say. My son ordered the chicken sandwich and after one bite it had to be returned because it was still raw. They did take it back and a bit later returned with a fully cooked sandwich. They apologized but that was it. Most respectable restaurants would either take that item off the bill completely and again apologize for the hassle but nothing! Then when I reviewed the bill I noticed that they automatically add a 20% service charge. Again, most restaurants will add 20% for groups of 8 or more but I've never seen this for a table of four. When I inquired about this charge we were told this is primarily for the back of the the restaurant staff and was not considered a tip. $40 later we paid $76 for a tip and service charge on top of the bill including a sandwich that was delivered well under cooked. We will never go back and will certainly not recommend this restaurant at all.

Great food, fun location with the new tasting rooms. Great that you can order from their menu or the Walla Walla Steakhouse menu.

It is very infrequently that I write a bad review, however I feel as if it is my responsibility to write this review and give a warning before you spend good money on disappointment! It was my Brother and his Daughters (My Niece's Birthday celebration) my Brother invited me to join him on this celebration to Crossbuck Brewing & Taproom AKA (Walla Walla Steak Co - Woodinville) yes they are basically both the same place a shared kitchen with separate dining areas. We were on the Crossbuck Brewing & Taproom side after looking at the pictures on line it looked like a good place to eat and sample drinks. It was a 45 minute drive in traffic from Tacoma, however to our surprise and no fault of the server after arriving on reservations we were seated quickly wait for it! 30 minutes later after 2 glasses of water from our attentive server the other drinks we ordered finally arrived, I was the designated driver DD this evening; however with the seriously inefficient drink service I was unneeded in fact the unsweetened ice tea I ordered was never even refilled. We ordered our meals a party of 5 the bill totaled $395.00 when I asked about a military discount they did not offer one. I guess the part that really got my goat was they automatically included a 20% tip in the price but be warned on my credit card receipt it had a space to include a tip??? Yep if you were not paying attention a second tip for the same meal and service, the crazy part was the food was nothing special we cook better food at home and my sister in law was served a very foul drink as I was not drinking, I smelled it and the lemon that was served with smelled rotten it appeared as if they tried to blow torch or burn it on one side to make it smell good the smell repulsed me. The four other family members at the table all tried it with sour looks at the end of the meal it was still unfinished, yes that was one of the drinks that took over 30 minutes to receive. The drink service was so bad that we actually attempted once to reorder but one and 1/2 hours into our meal were never asked about refreshing our drinks even my unsweetened Ice tea as the DD was never refilled but they did not miss the automatically included 20% tip on our bill and trying to get a second tip on the credit card receipt. I was very disappointed as this was the first time in 10 plus years that I had a chance to share my brothers and nieces birthday dinner with them as I am now a retired military veteran of 7 combat tours and have been long away from home.

I'd forgotten how service affects a dining experience... It was refreshing to experience sincere, professional service again. Both service and food quality has been consistently excellent on every visit! Love the mix of old & modern design too=cozy yet lively ambiance!

After frequenting Cross Buck in Walla Walla, my wife and I were ecstatic to learn the restaurant was opening a location near our home in Seattle. The food, drinks, and service during our first visit were outstanding and just as good, if not better, than the legacy restaurant. We'll be back!

Great food, excellent service, and free ample parking in the garage with validation in the restaurant. Really enjoyed the cozy, warm atmosphere and vibe. Staff was very accommodating, prompt, and friendly. Loved the dungeness crab cakes, which were full of crab with not much breading. Just enough to give it a very nice crunch. We found the 1/2 lb brisket burgers very tasty and juicy, perhaps because we ordered them pink. The Washington apple crisp dessert was a great way to top off the meal. Definite do again!

Went early on a Sat night, "we're only 9 days into opening." Read the Eater review and wanted to give it a go. The positives: the atmosphere is really inviting. Evoking an upscale brew pub like something you might find in Park City or Whistler. The beers that we ordered were all tasty and on point. The attitudes from the hosts to the wait staff to the managers were great. Everyone seemed really excited to be part of something new and fresh. You can order from both menus which is a huge plus. The cons: the service though positive had some gaps. We noticed that there were a LOT more people on the floor than you would expect for that size of a dining room, I can only attribute this to the grand opening and some folks shadowing. But almost all of them were hanging around the POS machines or near the bar rather than attending to guests. So yes, immediately after our food was served, we couldn't find our server for a good while (aka like 20 min). Then I finally ordered my 2nd beer, and waited another 22 minutes (I actually timed it) before it was served..... I was on my last slice of steak at that point and was looking for my server to let her know that I actually wanted to cancel the beer order, but she came with the beer, so might as well. Though the prices are right where you would expect them to be, the con for me is the pricing for the steaks. It is REALLY high, especially when compared to the rest of the menu. I understand the concept, that they were using a local collective to source their steaks, but honestly, it just wasn't tasty, especially for that money. At $79 - a 16 oz Prime New York plus tax and tip comes out to just over $100. I'm not a steak snob in the least, but I have been to a few fine establishments in Seattle and around the world and that pricing is on par with getting a dry aged prime steak. This steak honestly didn't taste like anything special... sadly, it tasted like a steak I could have bought at Safeway. I didn't try the other dishes at the table, but the consensus was that the food was "good, not great." This leads to the last con for me. We were a party of 4 and there was a mandatory 20% tip added to the bill. I would have tipped the 20% as I always do, but making it mandatory really put a bad taste in my mouth. Especially given the service struggles. I think if a restaurant is instituting a mandatory 20% tip, you should just go ahead and bake it into the price of the food and say that you pay a living wage as is the trend these days. I've only ever seen a forced 20%.... when it for parties of 6 or more..... in Vegas. I really wanted to love it, but I couldn't. For $350 for a party of 4, seemed a little overpriced and really not up to standards you would expect. And yes, we only ordered 3 beers, so a lot of that bill is food, yeah, we had a good sample of the menu. I'm sure over time, the service issues will certainly work themselves out. But not sure the taste will improve..... unless there's a revamp of the menu. Rooting for you.

The servers were excellent, that was the one positive thing. We ordered the shaved prime rib sandwich ($19), it had so much fat in the sandwich it was a huge disappointment, didn't even finish it. Also ordered a dessert with ice cream on it and they served it with a fork, finally got a spoon so we could eat it. The fries were good. Our bill for a late lunch was $150 which also included the added the service charge. The wording is misleading concerning the service charge. Picnic benches for seating, really uncomfortable.

Had an amazing dinner with a great bartender Leah. Food was delicious and service was amazing! Will be back soon.
