Crossing Manzoni (Milan, Lombardy) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"For a certain kind of fashion-minded person there could be no location more desirable for a pied-à-terre than this Milanese neighborhood in between the Quadrilatero d’Oro and the Scala theatre. Crossing Manzoni occupies two floors of a neoclassical palazzo on a street that’s long been home to prominent local families, including that of the writer Alessandro Manzoni. Inside are a mere six units, each one stylistically distinct from the others, each one decked out in classic designer furniture, unique modern artworks, and subtly luxe comforts." - Tablet Hotels

I was there with my daughter in June for 2 nights. I'm glad that I found this lovely place. We booked a superior double room, it's a perfect size for 2 travellers with two suitcases. The location is great, walkable distance to basically everything in Milan centre. The apartment is very clean and tidy with air condition. Even they don't have a kitchen like airbnb, but you get a nice shared lounge area with free flow of soft drinks, coffee, water and some snacks. Sean and his college Sabrina they are very kind and super helpful. The building does have a lift, however, there are a few stairs in the entrance (like 4 steps) but it's manageable. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a city break in Milan to stay here.

Spent 3 nights in Milan, staying at Crossing Manzoni the whole time. Truly a beautiful experience. The property is perfectly located next to Teatro Scala with easy access to the Brera district. We took a train and then one metro switch to get to the property (~70 minutes end to end, ~$15 each) and then walked nearly everywhere the rest of the time. The property is more a set of rooms in a guest house than classic hotel. And we loved that. Felt more private and connected to living in Milan. FWIW - the guest house means there’s no gym or breakfast but there was cleaning service and a little lounge for tea and drinks. ||Sean messaged us upon booking and then met us upon arrival. Truly great service - he gave us recommends for sites and food and helped us get situated. We had him on WhatsApp in case there were any questions. Lastly - the property has ~4 rooms on the second floor and 2 rooms on the first floor (a level above ground level). We opted for a room on the first floor because it was a little more private. It was amazing. Beautiful architecture, nice light, comfortable bed and pillow, and felt larger than a typical hotel room. ||Highly recommend!!!

Great little property. A bit hidden down a small street but lovely place to sleep. 6 room hybrid Airbnb/hotel with a great host that assists along the way. Steps away from the most luxurious brera district. Sandwiched in between the most luxurious hotels with well appointed, decently sized rooms. Highly recommend for a no frills place to sleep.

It felt like our own chic modern apartment in the heart of Milan. What a great find, what a great place to enjoy. Immaculately decorated, super quiet and the ever attentive Sabrina and Sean made it the best stay we have had in Milan. Thanks Crossing Manzoni, Wendy and Ho ❣️

Exquisite, small hotel in the best part of downtown Milan. Close walk to all of the great sites, but quiet and comfortable with understated luxury to relax in at the end of the day. Sean, our host was perfectly suited to his role. We look forward returning in the future.

This is a great small boutique hotel run by the proprietor. The location of the building is excellent. Given that it’s a small hotel with only a handful of rooms, it does not have any significant common spaces and the services are very limited. But if you are looking for clean, well kept rooms, tastefully furnished with a great location in the city center and owners who are there everyday and responsive to the guests, it’s a great choice.

We have just checked out of Crossing Mazoni and I have already booked it for my next trip to Milan in a few months. It is a wonderful concept in that you feel like you are in a boutique hotel but there is no dining room. It is very quiet and private. All the fabulous eateries that Milan has to offer are just a short walk from the door so a restaurant is not missed. The room was very well appointed, it was spacious, very comfortable and immaculately clean with a modern bathroom. The manager Sean, is warm, professional and very helpful. The welcome and service guests receive is quite unique. Looking forward to our next visit!

Wonderful boutique property in the heart of Milan. The true star is the service, provided by Sean - who was warm, gracious, and extremely helpful. Cross Manzoni is a unique cross between a hotel and a serviced apartment/room. The rooms are sizeable, beautifully decorated, unique and warm. Our room was immaculately clean, with a generously sized bathroom. It was the perfect respite for us after a long flight and an ideally located base to explore Milan from (close to Milan Central train station too).
