This is a different gun show for the worse. Starting with paying for parking for a worthless trip and show. Prices are the same or more expensive than retail at local stores. There are very few deals worth consideration. This show is suffering from fewer tables and vendors. Antique firearms are also very few. It’s a dying show.

Google
Incredible experience, stands and weapons as far as the eye can see, all spread out in several hangars, nice sellers, food stand on site (very expensive for a proven lack of quality, $14 for a hot dog) but other grill stands were present and much more qualitative. Only 2 passes available (the Friday/Saturday/Sunday pass and the Saturday/Sunday pass; so to come on Friday I had to pay for a 3-day pass at a price of $27 plus $10 parking to be paid on site). I highly recommend going there for lovers of weapons and History but also of all the accessories that revolve around this universe. Sébastien

Google
I have been going to these for years. This review is for the one they just held at AZ FAIR GROUNDS. $12 just to park, $20 per person to get in & this Jan show was a Joke. Ill never go to this location again and unless they lower to cover charge I won't be attending at all. Everything at these shows are way overpriced compared to local & online.

Google
I really enjoy this show. I have been to it multiple times and there is always a wide array of vendors. I usually go looking for something particular and usually find it and a lot of things I didn't even know I needed.

First time at the sar show, great selection of collections and items, will come again

My daughter's high school graduation was here. Supervisor directing foot traffic outside was very non compassionate of my mother's issue. She was not able to stand long on the ramp just to get in. They had no assisted devices. She stated " people usually bring their own wheelchair" I told her my mother was from out of state. The answer to that was that there was at least a ramp. No con sideration for a 80 yr old with issues at all. Why work with the public and have no empathy. We asked if we could go up the other ramp which was clear of a line so she wouldn't have to stand long, the answer was no. When the event staff should have been trying to find a resolve. Good thing we never have to attend this place again.

Google
This was a pretty good promotion. It was all Gunshow stuff. No candles and oils and flea market fluff. It was $10 to park and $15 more to get in.

Daniel W.

Google
Everything was quadrupled as for the costs of the rides the food and just about anything there and the parking cost was ridiculous other than that I had a great time at the concert there. 🍻😀🍗

Yelp
Attended several shows and this is by far the best gun show in the state, bringing in the best vendors. Have to question people that are unable to find a deal or something interesting at the fairgrounds Crossroad show. Can't wait for the big December show with the machine gun room!

Yelp
I Paid $18 apiece for me and my wife plus $4 extra for buying tickets online plus $10 to park just to look at overpriced guns and ammo!!! I absolutely hate buying online but seriously!! RIP-OFF

Yelp
It's fun to go, and check things out. Never know, might find something? Yes, parking is a rip off, not the gun shows fault, blamed this on the facility. Yes, it's inconvenient that you have to pay cash to get in? Yes, you will be surprised at how much the items you are looking for are not at a discounted level you expected. However, there are lots of things to look at. And if you look hard enough you will find some good deals. Still fun to go, if you are looking for a deal on firearms, you might be able to find something. Lot's of good info, and nice collections through out the exhibit areas. Coming back in July!

Yelp
Times have changed and you can see it at the show. I have been going to these shows since I was a child. This was the best way at time to buy ammo and certain firearms at one time. Some stuff was just not available at local shops. Plus there was no internet sales like now. This weekends show has shown how much times have change. When I was a kid there were gun dealers, ammo distributors and private sales people. You had the occasional gimmick product or trend too. Now there are some gun vendors, but seems to be mostly junk / garbage tables, gimmick vendors and gimmick products too. The only reason I attend anymore is to get a hands on feel of a firearm. I was here to see how a certain shotgun felt in my hand. I found one at a table got to see how it felt. I would never purchase a firearm here. You can find better deals at local shops. They have some deals on ammo, but so do local shops also. People watching is fun here too. The tacticool people over the last few years are awesome to watch. I remember years ago. There was a man in a trench coat, with a staff that had probably a amethyst stone and weird long hair. He had a pale skinny man on tow with a leash. That was funny. You can see all kinds. The tacticool people take the cake now.

Yelp
I have been a gun collector for over 50 years The Crossroads Shows leave me cold. I hated paying the rip off parking fee for something we bought and paid for with tax money Antique stuff is few and far between. I have done better to expand my collection using the internet and lay away Plenty of modern stuff and camo gear. I go twice a year to the Vegas shows.

Yelp
This was my first time at a gun show. They had plenty of merchants selling guns, gun accessories, and shooting related memorabilia. Most of the merchants offered prices that were competitive with what you can find online. The price to park was $8, which was reasonable. If you are looking for a particular gun part, chances are you'll find it at the gun show!

Yelp
Had a great time at the show this year and even found an AK-47 and a 9mm revolver I was specifically looking for. Also bought 2000 rds of ammo. Prices were decent but you had to look for them. A lot of vendors are overpriced, but I'm sure their prices go down the closer the show gets to ending. We were there first thing Saturday morning. Will definitely go back next year.

Yelp
$16 to get inside the Phoenix Stadium to look at the most over priced guns and ammo I have ever seen. This event was literally across the street from Cabelas and I could have bought anything cheaper at Cabelas without a door fee. Cabelas is also known for the highest prices in the valley for guns (probably to pay for the beautiful store) At Croasroads show there is cheap crap there for sale. A bunch of no name brands. Here is an example of a overpriced gun. I bought a new Ruger LC9 4 years ago for about $345 at a local gun store and there is already a newer better version out... yet they are selling used ones for more money than I bought mine new. Many around $389 You would think that with a door fee the prices would be at least competitive but they are not. They are far from competitive. I would imagine a gun show with a high volume of customers what have the prices slightly lower then the local gun shops to move quantity not make huge profits. Unfortunately new people that are getting into guns are going to go there and pay overpriced money for this stuff and then realize later on that day got screwed.

Yelp
I will say I got a decent price on what I went there for. It was a local vendor, very small time and was hassle free. Got a great price. But it was literally buy from them or leave empty handed as the pricing for most items are easily beaten online, that is without factoring in the the $40 I paid for two of us to park and enter. Some people were actually selling for $100-150 more than you can easily find online for some new stuff. Roll your eyes, move on. I wish certain gun people realized one party or one ideology does not have a monopoly on the hobby. Not everyone possesses them for the same reasons. Being an election year, the political groups were in full force. The non "gun show" stuff is quite annoying. The people watching is fantastic, as is any event in this dumpy part of town, just magnified with the gun show experience. But overall, I don't get why we pay so much to get in. Why not charge vendors more? Maybe they got tired of the window shopping, and only want shoppers in there, who knows. There are some quality vendors, with helpful employees. so it isn't all bad, and there is an incredible variety, great place to look for ideas of something you maybe never got to handle, or considered purchasing. There are deals to be had. Do your research online, and at your local stores, if you see a deal, go for it. If not, eat the $40 entrance fee and bail.

Yelp
Sorely disappointed by this "gun show". The cost just to park and walk in is ridiculous. Tons of booths aren't even selling anything related to firearms, and of the booths that do carry firearms, half of them are just packed with super-tacticool ARs, AKs, or 500s/870s. None of the prices for anything - guns, ammo, knives, or random shit - seemed to stick out to me. There was very little variety as far as knives and guns go. If I wanted something so ordinary, I would've just gone back to Cabela's or Shooter's World - and they don't charge $20+ to walk in the door. What makes it even worse in my opinion is the super-conservative sentiments being tossed around by a large portion of the vendors and attendees here. My rights as a gun owner are probably the most important to me of all political topics. But if gun owners want people to support that right, perhaps they shouldn't be so closed-minded when it comes to others' political or religious ideologies, sexual orientation, etc. ... Just sayin'. I don't think I'll be going here again. Here in Arizona, gun shows are entirely pointless, anyway.

Yelp
First off, if anyone reading this gets offended, please be aware that as an American, I do in fact have the right to an opinion. I don't want to get shot! I support the Democratic party, but since my red state dad was in town, i thought it might be interesting to take him to the gun show. i am a gun owner but the thought of being around several thousand other gun owners made me a bit nervous. it's kind of a rip-off. 7 bucks to park, 16 bucks to get in the place. and then everything in there is mostly over priced. it is kind of a nightmare for a liberal like me....the things overheard should make the owners of those comments ashamed of themselves. race, religion, sex...i overhead every kind of hateful thing said about every other race, religion, sex, etc. and to top it off, even my father...a gun-totin, conservative republican said to me as we were leaving "Well, i can see why most people shouldn't own guns". one of the scariest things i overheard from a vendor was this: a young man walks up to one of the sellers of guns. the young man says "So what's your background and paperwork requirements?". the gun seller says "how about cash?" and that was it. a semi-automatic AR-15 was sold. there was a line for ammunition about 3 hours long. people seem to be really scared about their guns and ammo getting taken away. this happens every 5 years or so. in any case, an excellent place for mullet spotting, but i wouldn't go back and would advise anyone with any sense to avoid it as well.

Chris K.

Yelp
Went December 2016. Guys at check in table completely rude and unprofessional. We were told there would be live fire opportunities, we sure couldn't find any. No good deals that we could find. The best thing to say is that they had carnival food instead of the awful convention center "food" at Ontario. Waste of money on tickets, gas, and hotel. Lots and lots and lots of Nazi stuff. How much of it was real? Your guess is probably better than mine. And lots of stuff you can't buy if you're stuck living in stupid CA like I am! Won't go again.

Yelp
As a hardcore card carying gun toting NRA member, I would have to agree with some of this democrats comments, crossroads used to be a cool show to attend but they are just gouging show attendees, $27 for parking and entrance ticket, f u crossroads, just go to Walmart or cabelas for ammo and order everything else online or go to local shops that don't charge for parking or to just walk in the door. With that said, no gun show should be banned, let the free market dictate success.

Seth B.

Yelp
Horrible experience! Expensive to park & get in, and $23 magazines cost $35. It is a monumental ripoff.

Laurie G.

Yelp
Fun to go, and just look for historic items. Enjoy the big December show the most.

Yelp
There were NO GUNS for sale at this stupid show. Really, a few old beat up antiques and that's about it. STUPID. We went with cash in hand, ready to drop $1,200, and they had NOTHING. Maybe it's because it was in California, but they should have told people they have NO GUNS before we went.

Tony D.

Yelp
I took my wife, and before we even got through the doors, it was $42 dollars. $8 for parking (Cash only!) and then 17 apiece ($34 for the both of us), also CASH ONLY. If you forget to bring your cash, you can use a "strategically placed ATM" that charges you another 4 bucks. Guess who forgot his cash. This guy. Total entrance fee: $46 dollars. (insert HEEE-HAWWW jackass sound effect here) Now, many of the vendors, despite some of the "I hate gun shows, but I went anyway" comments, are actually very good vendors. I was able to pick up a great selection of magazines, as well as deals on scopes. Ammo *USED* to be cheap and justify the cost of admission, but even if you're going to stock up, it's no longer worth the balance of entry fee vs. saved funds if you're going to count on the Ammo to counter balance the entry fee. The Ammo guys have figured out that you THINK you're going to save (regardless if you do or not), so they have slowly jacked up the prices over the years. "Oh, there's a shortage", they'll say if you question the prices being more expensive. No there's not. They're maximizing profit. I have no issue with Capitalism, however, if you've gotten into the habit thinking "the ammo will make me break even", you better be buying more than you can carry out. Do they also have some people selling "junk"? Sure, just like the Home And Garden Show has people selling mops for $30. or the worst scam ever, "going solar", or the Women's Expo tries to convince every woman she needs to join a pricey garden club or buy a timeshare. EVERY show has their black sheep, and if people judge an entire show by the worst vendor, then it's sort of lopsided logic. Gun shows do bring out some colorful people, but I've seen more psycho people at the Women's Expo haggling prices on Tupperware. No, really. As for my experience, I got a really nice holster for both of us, and some magazines and it was from a local AZ dealer. I'd have not found them if not for the gun show, probably. If you really want something legitimate to gripe about - or a reason to reconsider going, it would be the sheer greed of those running this show charging a couple the price of a nice dinner to walk around the show, and the sh...otty Grade-D security people they hire. An inquiry and complaint to Crossroads management via their website went unanswered. I paid $46. and I don't deserve a response? No. Never again. It's too bad for the vendors. I hope someone else starts a gun show circuit and charges less than a friggin' Garth Brooks ticket price. Jack N says in his post, "I've been to several of these gun shows and every time I go I ask myself why? I am writing this review to remind myself to never go again." I, also, am joining the "writing myself to remind myself not to go" club.

Yelp
Great gun show in Phoenix. Lot's of venders, not so many "junk tables" food was good by prices high.

Frank N.

Yelp
The Show has degraded to the point , it is NOT worth attending. The entry fee is too high, add to that the INSANE "Parking fee". Forget it! One can do better off the internet...unless you are looking for goat milk soap, eye glass cleaning gimmicks, jerky and overall crap. SAD where we have gone with these shows.
google avatar

John G.

Yelp
Let me see if I have this right. I can pay $8 to park, $16 to get in, $16 more for my teenaged daughter to get in, and then I can buy something for 20% more than it would normally cost?? This place is a ripoff.

Joe D.

Yelp
I went to the gun show at the University of Phoenix stadium. Location is much better than at the fair grounds. Parking is free and that's about the only good thing about the entire gun show. Entrance ticket was $17 (there is a $1 off coupon from the event web site). Once in the event all the guns were over priced and the used guns were in rough shape for the same price as new at local gun shops. Lots of Chinese replacement parts, scopes and knives. Some custom ladies bags and sandals, basically lots of non gun related crap. Don't waste your time or money going to this show, just go to your local gun shop or go on-line.
google avatar

Samuel S.

Yelp
I agree with the comments expressed by several others---not really anything special to justify the admission fee, and the absolutely unnecessary ultra-right-wing ambiance just makes it feel sleazy to be there. Word-up: On paper, I look like one of the "liberal elite." In reality, I'm as Eisenhower-Republican as they come. You're making me wonder if I'm really the nutter that the left claims I am when I see/hear crap like what's allowed at the Crossroads show. The kind of stuff that seems to predominate in circles such as these are a large part of the reason that we have such a fight on our hands just to be able to quietly and responsibly defend ourselves, our families, and our right to bear arms. The shrill political "stuff" from the right is just as toxic and wrong-headed as the equally shrill and misguided folks on the left that we are up against as firearms owners and/or hobbyists. I won't be back to Crossroads---we don't all have to agree with one another or like one another, but the themes so prominently on display at the Crossroads show I attended certainly aren't helping or serving my best interests as a gun owner.

Rene D.

Yelp
The parking and entry fees are simply ridiculous - given that we are paying well upwards of $20 per person just to park a car and get into the door. The gatekeepers were surly; maybe they are not paid enough? and the show owners just cream off the profit without worrying about customer service. The stallholders must be paying a lot to be there as they are desperate to sell. I only bought 2 products; a 'Front Sight Vegas' shooter training membership which has so far turned out to be completely NOT as advertised, and a Chinese-made stun gun for my wife's car which was advertised as 'high-end' (and priced up there) yet which stopped working 7 days after purchase and guess what - the cell # on the receipt doesn't work. Silly me - what was I thinking. Lesson learned; buy elsewhere, buy US-made, and don't waste money on the 'privilege' of driving there, parking there and walking in there to be ripped off.

Ron M.

Yelp
BIG WASTE OF MONEY!!! Crossroads gun show was a joke. First off, at the gate you pay $8 dollars to park and they failed to say that you needed cash for the tickets, so it cost me another $4 at their ATM to get the money for the tickets. The web site said $16, got there they charged me $18 and when we told the cashier that the lady next to her argued saying it didn't say that and was completely rude about it. Then to boot, some guy shot his buddy "accidently" after purchasing his gun. These are the people that shouldn't own guns, the signs clearly state 'no loaded guns allowed", and yet after purchasing his gun somehow felt the need to load it? They didn't have any deals that I cant get at my local gun shop. I wouldn't have even given this 1 star but they make you choose a star. Never again will I waste my time or money on this show!
