What a fun idea. We were greeted by our server when we entered and she asked if we had ever been in before. We answered no, so she told us about playing games and which games we could choose from. We were never told that we would be charged a "table fee." We picked out two games and brought them to our table. Our server came over and told us we were only allowed two games at a time. It seemed unnecessary since we were seated and only had two games. It took a while to decide on food and she came by often to ask if we were ready. After we ordered and began playing, our server did not come back for a long time. Someone else brought out our food and we enjoyed it while playing our game. The ranch dressing was very bland, the mac was tasty though heavy on the garlic, but the chicken tenders were really good. I waited with an empty glass for too long and finally saw her passing and was able to ask for a refill. That was her only service after we placed our order.

This is a pretty cool place catering to a niche crowd. The food is really good, though, especially the humpty dumpling gnocchi soup and the Parmesan garlic fries. Service loses one star because on both visits, there were reallllly long gaps between visits from our servers. We told a friend we went and he commented, “did the server come by twice in two hours?” The servers are very inviting and accommodating, though. They also have a great knowledge of the many games. The bar was very accommodating with making an off-menu cocktail. I’d definitely go back.

Came here for dinner and to play games with friends. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time and their Quesadillas were pretty good. Their vanilla ice cream was also very sweet. Only downside was the limited parking in the surrounding area. Otherwise, I highly recommend Crossroads Tabletop Tavern.

Enjoy the nice flight of beer good unique beer. My Monte Cristo's sandwich could have used a little more flavor. I'd suggest they use a saltier ham and a stronger flavored cheese. As it was it was a little on the bland side. The fish and chips were good but not very good according to my wife. The chicken bites (not the name) appetizer came with sauces we felt were quite good. A mixed bag all in all. The atmosphere was wonderful and unique.

16 JAN 25, Thursday, Dinner 6:20 pm Dish 1: Smashville Hot Chicken Sandwich with Fries Dish 2: Monte Cristo with Sweet Potato Fries Price Dish 1: $16 Price Dish 2: $16 Absolutely delicious. Food is top notch. Homemade everything! Deep and unique flavors with everything from the sandwiches and cinnamon sugar-dusted sweet potato fries to the dill-infused ranch dressing. These dishes were perfectly balanced. Looking for that crispy Nashville hot chicken sandwich? This one is a darker breaded homemade take on the classic and does come with coleslaw. Not spicy or hot, and with a very slight cumin hint. You won't be disappointed. If you like yours hot, you WILL need to ask them to add some heat. The Monte Cristo with the gooey melted cheese and raspberry dipping coulis was breakfast meets gourmet ham and cheese. Service was outstanding and relaxed. The downstairs is fairly small with shelves of tabletop games throughout the floor and walls. The tavern possesses and provides customers with an insane number of tabletop games to choose and play while dining and about 80% of tables were gaming during dinner. I have to return to try the other dishes after this visit. MUST EXPERIENCE.

Google
Interesting little bar food place that is basically a massive board game store, where you can also play any game or bring your own! The sheer breadth and amount of board games will leave your head spinning. I do recommend this place as it’s refreshing to see old school games and people who enjoy them! Great place for gifts too

We came here on a Saturday as a group of 4 around 2pm. This was our first time and the hostess explained how we can pick out games then sat us down. The menu was a bit confusing as it was trying to tie things to different card games. It took at least 10 minutes before someone came to our table to take our drink orders. We then had a long wait until we made our food order and went to go pick out some board games as we waited. There were a ton of options which I thought was cool, but a little overwhelming. When we finally ordered, we only ordered appetizers. I ordered the Tetris Totchi Koro which was loaded tots. I appreciated the fun shapes and the crisp on the tater tots. I think the sour cream took away from the fondue flavor and the ranch was more dilly than I personally prefer. My husband ordered Chicky Boom Bites and they were not good. The batter had no flavor and it was overcooked. The chicken was not dry, but the breading just took away from the experience. My friends ordered Poutine for a Queen which was loaded fries with gravy and they enjoyed it. My one friend also ordered Point Salad and it was fine, just a normal salad. Overall, I really did enjoy the fact we got to play games throughout our meal as it allowed us more time to connect and talk. I do wish the waiter would have checked in a bit more. I think this place is really great concept and I only tried a small snapshot of their menu so I assume they have some items that may be better.

First time here with my fiancé and we are obsessed! Such a cool concept for a restaurant — who doesn’t love delicious food and playing games? I’ll definitely be bringing friends and family back here. I got their vegan burger and it was great! They have other vegan options too which is fantastic to find, along with fun mocktails. My fiancé ordered the asiago-stuffed gnocchi and it came with a delicious kale salad. The staff was super friendly as well which was awesome and encouraged us to take a look at all the games and bring them to the table. We can’t wait to return!!

Yelp
Someone at a Yelp event actually recommended this place to me after a conversation about board game bars. I'm used to Board Room in DC where they serve no food and also cater to Sportsball and lighter tabletops like cards against humanity. Crossroads feels more all-encompassing of nerdier tabletop, and their food menu is also impressive. The burgers are substantial and they have some great appetizers. Be careful of grease, because my poor playmat got oil on it when trying to simultaneously eat and play digimon :/ The interior is surrounded on every available wall by board games either for borrowing or for buying, so it also doubles as a retail space. The business itself is nestled in downtown Manassas, which is charming and almost makes you forget you're in the bustling Northern VA. Parking isn't directly in front of the business, but cross the train tracks and you'll be in walking distance of an ample-spaced garage.

Yelp
Fun Birthday dinner w my adult kids. Decent bar foods. Good drinks. Wide variety of fun games. It's a really unique experience and a lot of fun with a group of four or more.

Yelp
Crossroads is a super cute board game cafe in Old Town Manassas. They have quite a large selection of games to play as well as purchase. My partner and I enjoyed a 2 player game called Onitama a lot! The food was nothing special, but it's something to fill you up while you play board games. The restaurant was not very busy on a Friday afternoon but service was still a little slow. Definitely worth checking out if you have a board game craving!

Margy C.

Yelp
Saturday night was busy so best to make reservations. Nice that they have outside seating too. As a party of 7, we were here to celebrate two birthdays of friends. As a gift, I picked up some cupcakes and was hoping they would allow outside food. None of the staff said anything about it. And we did order a lot of food and drinks (multiple times). Food was good. Partner had the fish and chips and I went for the Oh Shitake which was a pasta macaroni dish with shitake mushrooms and short ribs. Portion size was good and half of us had leftovers for the next day. Plenty of games to purchase all around the tavern. You can also bring your own games. Love the casual atmosphere and the vibe of friends just playing games. Service was super friendly and fast. All you have to do is place a card on a stand and someone comes to get your order or refills. There was a theme that evening in which they were out of things. Not the end of the world and certainly didn't affect our experience. They were just probably unusually busy. They ran out of forks and I ate my pasta with a soup spoon. LOL. They were also out of flight containers. Our bottle of ketchup was empty but we quickly got another. Parking was not the best. There is a small lot right next to the tavern if you're lucky to get a space. There is also street parking and other small lots around.

Kody P.

Yelp
I really really enjoyed my first time visiting this restaurant. To start off, they have plenty of seating indoors with various sized tables for individuals or party-sized groups to come in and play games. You can see in the photos that they have NUMEROUS games that you can play either before or after eating and also unopened games for you to purchase too. Loved the service, and the atmosphere in here was very slow and chill making it an honestly great place to relax while playing games with friends and family with no pressure to leave like you'd find in many if not all other restaurants. Ghostlie Cola was really awesome, horchata inspired drink and it really stayed true to it. Sheriff of Nottingham burger was also really juicy, definitely on the slightly sweeter side for burgers considering it has apple jam and apple in the burger. So maybe ordering a more sour drink would've paired well with the burger. Fries was super soft, plenty came with the burger and we had plenty more from the appetizer, Lord of the Fries. Their menu was really creative and funny, you'll see that there's a lot of puns and cultural references in the menu items and descriptions. I ended up staying here for like 2-3 hours, and I wish I stayed longer. Wonderful place!

Yelp
This is a great hangout spot for eating and playing games! It has a great vibe, plenty of seating, and so many games to choose from. There are two floors for seating, and many different sized tables for different party sizes. On the main floor there is a wall of games to grab and play or games throughout the store to buy and play. I had a lot of fun. Next time my friends and I are looking for a spot for grub and a fun night out, I'm suggesting coming back here.

Thomas D.

Yelp
Love this place in old town Manassas, owner hosts trivia every Monday at 7:30pm. Great food and drinks. Fairly priced. Tons of games to play or purchase. Thanks for being a great cozy corner of old town. Open late too!

Phi D.

Yelp
LJ was a phenomenal server and worked here. I was overwhelmed by the store as a first timer and he definitely made a first comer welcome and helped me understand and walkthrough of the bar. Definitely recommend coming here again!! Food was also pretty good! Only got a drink and a dessert. Loved it! Crème brûlée was perfectly sweetened and the drink I got was the ghost is cola and to die for! As an Asian with lightened sweets as preference, it hit me right at the right spot! The ambiance is very comforting and music played at the perfect volume for you to enjoy playing, socializing and enjoying food all at once! Such a neat eatery that it can't separately be only a board game shop or a bar but fusion of both

Lauren G.

Yelp
My friends and I visited to unwind and play board games. heir cocktail selection is HUGE and their cocktails are named after nerdy things which a lot of my friends found amusing. The chicken finger baskets were HUGE and accompanied by a variety of homemade dipping sauces. I opted for a craft beer from Aslin while enjoying our gaming session. I'd likely revisit due to its convenient location in Old Town Manassas, offering a relaxing way to conclude our weekend. Although the service was decent, it didn't particularly stand out, and the restaurant's interior could benefit from some updates.

Carly C.

Yelp
There was a huge selection of games to play and an even bigger section of brand new games to purchase. The first level houses the more family games and the second floor games have a bit little more adult language. We ended up playing Scattergories, a classic favorite and easy to learn. The food was elevated bar food - tell me another bar with game puns on menu items?! I also like the Thursday Surprise Meals. They are keeping the concept true to their vision.

Emily G.

Yelp
John and team are on point! Our server for brunch preemptively asked if we would want hot sauce and salt & pepper before our food arrived, which I really appreciated. She was quick to refill coffee and water. Food was great, music was excellent. Atmosphere was buzzing as the lunch crowd began to fill it up. I stand by my previous review - this is a fab spot for an outing of any occasion! Make sure to stay a few hours so you have time for a game or two and lots of nibbling and/or drinks.

Tri D.

Yelp
LJ aka John has been top notch server the entire evening. Great drink, dessert, and board game recommendations all night. The store itself is phenomenal and makes me dream of a basement looking like this one day. Other John the owner is also very kind and accommodating. If you need a board game shipped to you, he will do it for you personally and that's incredible! Highly recommend ghostie cola if you love horchata and the orange you glad if you need that 90's nostalgic orange cream popsicle. Crime brûlée is the newest dessert and is delish!

Rajit S.

Yelp
Great selection of games (better than The Board Room), great food and drinks. Service is not very good (staff forgot one of our orders, and generally aren't very attentive)

Richard R.

Yelp
A big disappointment. The food was only fair, and the service was very slow. However, the shocker was that the restaurant charged an unstated five-dollar "table charge," and, when the waiter had offered a cup of soup as a substitution for fries, the restaurant imposed a two-dollar surcharge for the substitution--again without informing us of the extra charge, until we received the bill. Needless to say, this left a bitter taste in our mouths. When we complained about the extra charges, we were told there was nothing the restaurant could do. Even the manager would not remove the surprise charges, so we told him to cancel the entire credit card transaction, provide a credit, and re-issue the transaction. Insofar as the renewed transaction still imposed the table charge and substitution charge, we left no tip and told the manager to tip the waiter from the unnecessary, undisclosed surprise charges. Recommendation: stay away from the Crossroads Tabletop Tavern, as there are many better and more reputable restaurants in the historic downtown of Manassas.

Jonathan S.

Yelp
Great place, great service, great food. We always enjoy family trips and adult trips to this place. The adult beverage selection is impressive. The most surprising element is the stock of gaming supplies to both play and purchase is on par with any gaming store.

Scott D.

Yelp
We've been going to Crossroads for at least a year and today was the last time. Food is great and Happy Hour offers are great. Service has never been consistently good. Often, the staff is uninformed or just wrong about the details of the menu. Today, the waiter was VERY wrong about details of Happy Hour and when we asked, he tried to BS us with a story about it being seasonal or from this past Summer(not now). We complained the manager who became very defensive and walked off stating she needed to do a "Customer Review" or words to that affect. She seemed very insulted that my wife used a curse word. Mind you, we're in a bar and there were no children anywhere. Waiter and Manager both very unprofessional. She asked us to leave (we were already on our way out)... and never going back.

B D.

Yelp
Such a cute little place! Enjoyed the games, good, & drinks! Definitely coming back again!

Joshua B.

Yelp
I've been coming here for over 10 years and this place's food has had a major glow up. I would recommend anything on the menu now. They all have cute names and they are delicious. You're obviously here for the board games and they have a lot. Don't know what you wanna play? Your waiters and workers will have suggestions and if you need up starting up, they can guide you to start the game. My only qualm here is they don't check back with the table often enough to see if you need refills especially if you are playing a long game. Other than that, great place to be!

Let's See S.

Yelp
A RARE HIDDEN GEM!! INEXPENSIVE AND TASTY WITH SOLID PORTIONS and best of all, hundreds and hundreds of games!! As a restaurant, this place excells in good comforting food at really solid prices under $25 and you can tell all that playful atmosphere helps creativity because their in house menu keeps offering something new! Not to mention craft local brews and a dizzying array of mixed drinks - they're not afraid to keep trying new ideas The staff here is kind and timely and surprisingly intelligent! A former software engineer, a guy with a ph.d., med students - this place is fire! Best of all its gluten free friendly and they'll try to accommodate your needs - is just like costing grandpa's with home cooked vibe bites and a massive collection of games to play

Karen B.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere and good service. The only thing I've tried that's any good on the menu, though are the cheese curds. Their burgers which they are known for are not seasoned and are very tasteless, my friend was craving a burger and was usually disappointed.

John B.

Yelp
Dinner with the family and guests. Nice atmosphere with a good beer and drink list. Highlight was the jambalaya. The rest of the food was acceptable. Giving it 3 stars for the overall service and execution. The staff tried but it was a mess. The card system others mention just doesn't work and their attempt at team service just didn't work. This is a place that should just revert to only qr codes and toast ordering at the table with runners.

Wendy J.

Yelp
Enjoyed Saturday brunch at my first visit to Crossroads. It was fun reading the menu of creatively named dishes. Our server, Ke'alohi, was friendly, attentive, and made an on point recommendation to get the raspberry coulis with the Brioche French Toast. My meal was delicious with that coulis, not overly sweet. One of my dining partners had the Monte Cristo that came with the coulis, which she enjoyed. Ke'alohi also recommended, and helped us find games to play at our table after asking about our likes. It was a fun early afternoon playing games, after a tasty meal.

Michelle M.

Yelp
I have been visiting Crossroads Tabletop Tavern since it opened and am impressed on how this place stepped up their game (literally) with their improved menu. My most recent visit was with friends for weekend brunch. I had Fried Chicken on French Toast while they had Monster Mash Short Rib Hash. Both dishes were really delicious and worth their price. The only downside were that the food took a little while to get prepared and the coffee was not hot when it was served - I was given a hot replacement though. Nevertheless, I'd still go back and hopefully have a much better experience.

Dayla K.

Yelp
The sun was shining and the breeze was blowing the savory smells from the outside diners right to us! We just had to join them! When you walk inside, be ready to grab a game and begin! There were people of all ages playing all sorts of games inside. But, we went outside to enjoy the breeze! Ok, so the drink was the highlight of the meal! I could have drank my weight in that drink alone!!! "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter" is the BEST drink on our planet! BOOM! Be sure to order it! BTW- the meal was good too! *Hummm-Bowl with chips Be sure to take some time and read the entire menu; too cool for school!!! Dayla

Claire S.

Yelp
Wear a coat while you eat at this place or you'll freeze to death in the winter. There are tables right in front of the door, and every time the door is opened you get a blast of freezing air. To make matters worse, the host kept going to the door and holding it open while he yakked at some people out on the sidewalk! After sitting down at one of the tables, we kept wondering why we never got menus or had any waiter come. Turns out you have to scan a QR code to get the menu on your phone, and then display a playing card when you're ready to order. It's very irritating and crazy. Even after putting the playing card up on display, nobody came. So we had to physically flag somebody down. Long story short, it took forever to get food and drinks, and what we DID finally get was revolting. Breaded mushrooms that were mushy and made with NO salt, chicken breast that was so tough you'd need a machete to cut it up, and desserts that were just plain awful. The final blow was the bill. Severely overpriced, bland, inedible food...and freezing the whole time while you're trying to eat, equals: "I'm never stepping foot in here again." This place needs to decide whether it wants to be a game stop OR a restaurant, because it obviously can't do both. Ugh. Just UGH.

Gozde S.

Yelp
Did not have a good experience here. One of my friend's order was pushed to be made last in the system for some reason. Another one of my friend's order was incomplete as they forgot the chicken. And I had a bone in my burger that broke my tooth! Had to get an emergency dentist appointment to get my broken tooth checked out. Would not recommend this place.

Jessi C.

Yelp
We enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Everything was clean. Definitely nerdy which I love, but there is no gate keeping or any kind of exclusivity.

Mike H.

Yelp
We wandered in this Monday afternoon and WOW what great food! I had the jumbalaya, which is somewhat unusual, has a lot of ingredients and needs to be either done right or not at all. It was done exceptionally well! Complicated and hot and spicy, plenty of fish and meat mixed in with the "dirty" rice. Might be too spicy for some, but I loved it. The squash side dish was simple and great - slices grilled, put in olive oil with garlic and a few other things - we got the recipe and will make it at home. Wife had the salmon, which was as good or better than similar dishes at many restaurants. The games were interesting, kinda like a big library where we had never read any of the books. We pulled one out and messed with the pieces and the game board, it was fun.

Jessica F.

Yelp
Fantastic place! I love all the geeky named items on their menu like the golden snitches and Eggs-caliber - and they were delicious too! We met with friends and played 3 games. The staff have a great system where they won't bother you unless you put up a card to call them over. They have virgin versions of all their cocktails and both the virgin and alcoholic ones I tried were super good. I can't wait to go back, but they are an hour and a half drive away, so it will have to be a special occasion. Wish they would open one in Fredericksburg - but think about how much money is on those shelves! They have different themed nights, but you don't have to join in with those, you can play whatever you want with your group - I hear upstairs is more adult themed games. Reservations are highly recommended!

Jason P.

Yelp
Had a great time at Tabletop Tavern today! We were a group of 8 without a reservation and were seated immediately. The brunch food was very good and our server, Al, was great! He is very knowledgeable about the games and just a fun guy overall. We will definitely return!

Harriet M.

Yelp
Good food, great game collection, and good service even when they were full. If your group wants to discover a game you haven't played yet, coming here is great. You can play a game from their thousands available, and have yummy food and drink, including a lengthy mocktail selection, brought to your table while you play. Tables are spaced well enough that noise stays manageable and you can talk while you play. They had a two-hour limit while we were there, which worked well for us. It meant there was turnover and our party got a seat after about a 25 minute wait. We used the time to choose from the huge game collection. The food is made from scratch and has fun game-themed names that made reading the menu a treat. The berry and mint mocktail was complex and yummy.

Karen P.

Yelp
Server wasn't great. Food was decent. Reached out to the manager several times on an issue and never heard back. Called the restaurant, messaged, and emailed but never a response back. Poor management in my opinion. Would not go back.

Mackenzie C.

Yelp
This is my friends and I new favorite spot! We live about 45 minutes away but the drive is worth the experience! So many game options in their library. They have a huge range from board games to physical games to card games. You definitely won't be bored when you come here! We've also participated in trivia which is fun as well drinks here are really good and for a fair price. My favorite so far is love potion #10 and the necrotic nectar. The butter beer one is okay, not my favorite even though it's a house favorite. Food is okay, I do like that all the ingredients are local, but my sliders could've used just a little bit more flavor. Everyone else liked their food but also thought it was a little under seasoned. I would say the main talking point about this place is the endless amount of games you can play and the tasty and affordable drinks!

Brittany J.

Yelp
We came here for a date night, the concept is awesome! They have so many games to choose from! If you need anything from a waiter, you just flip up a playing card and someone will come to help; it's great when you're in the midst of a game! The music was super fun too, when we were there, they played classic rock the whole night. My biggest bummer was the food but I also wasn't expecting a 5 star meal. We split the loaded fries - they were good. Then we had a burger and my chicken tenders - both were average. They do serve Nathan's ice cream - that was my favorite part! I still absolutely recommend this unique spot!

Randy S.

Yelp
Enjoyed brunch and a game. Liked the variation on eggs Benedict. The Monti Cristo was not deep fried which was nice.

Michelle L.

Yelp
Great food, was actually pleasantly surprised! Some great items like the Nottingham Burger and the Grilled cheese. Their cheese curds and Mac 'n cheese are better than anyplace else. Their food is why they get 4 stars! The games are fun, lots to chose from. It's truly a place for gamers. For the rest of use there are some good options as well. The staff is a little lacking. Quiet, not very friendly or interactive but efficient. They were out of almost every cider on the menu which was frustrating. When one of my friends asked about mead one of the servers said she didn't know anything about them, thought it was a type of beer. I had to explain what it was and that the question was about getting one by the glass cvs the bottle. I'll definitely go back for take out but I'm not rushing back to eat there unless my gamer friends want to go.

Rachel Y.

Yelp
We went out here with some friends to play board games and have a few drinks and some food. Service was slow, but workers were pretty friendly. The chicken fingers and mock tails were pretty good! Those of us who had drinks said they were solid. I'll definitely come back if we want to play some board games!

S T.

Yelp
Wow, what a great find! We were in the area for the first time and stumbled upon this place. We were there during brunch hours and had three different dishes. The Highlander was excellent, the Full Monte Christo was really good, and the Creped Crusaders hit a spot even though the crepes could have been a tad thinner. The presentation of the dishes was as good as the taste. Clearly, whoever is in the kitchen is thoughtful about the food they make. We didn't play any games, but they have a very big collection of games in the store. We thought we could come back for a date night. Service could've been a bit faster.

Shandi P.

Yelp
Fantastic fun for my whole family. :) Love the Chicken piccata! The ghosty cola is my favorite mocktail.

Emily T.

Yelp
This place is so much fun, you get to literally play all these different games while you eat food, what more do you want? Service is great, good energy, good people.

Jessica T.

Yelp
It was a fun first experience. The waiting staff was super attentive and helpful. The food was okay and cleanliness was a bit on the lower end (tables, games, etc.). The food wasn't great since it was either bland or overly salted but you should really be here for the games anyways. There are A LOT of game options. It's super overwhelming and I wished that there was something that could've been recommended for us at the start (depending on our party size and time) but we still played the games we wanted to. Multiple times, our orders were forgotten and we needed to remind the waiting staff but it was understandable since the place was packed. It's a fun experience and I recommend going at least once but not really something I would go to regularly.

Celia B.

Yelp
I have lived in Manassas for over 35 years. My boyfriend wanted to go to somewhere different. We chose Crossroads because we hadn't been there before. I walked in at 9:26 and the hostess said, "What do you want?" I said, "l would like a table for 2." She said, " The kitchen closes in 4 minutes." The website has 10:00 for the time the kitchen closes." It has been a long day...l didn't want to have an argument with her...l just walked out. Never to return.

Brandon S.

Yelp
Simply unprofessional management- Their response of claiming we wanted $12 of free food (We full paid our portion) further proves the unprofessionalism this veteran owned business displays- Its the principle of the thing- Sad that this is the result. No-one wanted free food, Nobody wants to pay double for your mistakes is all. Judging by other reviews it seems we are not the only ones who have experienced the inconvenience of a double charge. Disappointed, it really seems you want free money. Save your time and money elsewhere.

Debbie A.

Yelp
Not your typical tavern but more of a great restaurant where you can play any board game ever created. Monte Cristina sandwich was very tasty and the burgers melt in your mouth.

John C.

Yelp
Just went there. They had an internet issue and they should just shutdown for the day. Approximately 20 minutes to get seated, another 20 to place an order only to learn they never sent it to the kitchen after waiting for an appetizer for another 20 minutes. Their excuse was the internet being down and paper tickets. Might account for some of the issues but the staff ignore us for large periods of time. When we finally learned our order was not sent to the kitchen we told them to cancel the order and they had the nerve to charge us for the drinks even after waiting over an hour for nothing. Poorly operated establishment.-

I love the atmosphere here because I also love board games. However, on a recent visit it took 30 minutes for me to get a beverage. The wait staff is usually pretty hands-off, which is why they have the card system for you to get their attention. But it's hard to get their attention if they never come by your table. I've had long waits on more than one occasion, but this last time makes me rethink coming back any time soon. I really want to love Crossroads and I hope they improve their service.

Yelp
Interesting concept for a restaurant/bar, but that's where it stops. The service was the worst I've had in years. Saw the waiter when he took our order and eventually brought our drinks. Brought the drinks in sticky glasses and admitted he screwed one up by thinks he did, "pretty good" on the other two. Ordered sweet potato fries but got regular fries. Like I said, never saw the waiter to ask for an exchange. Had to sneak behind the bar myself for ketchup and napkins. Medium rare means pink. Only pink was in the watered down ketchup. Utensils must not be available or maybe the missing waiter didn't think we needed them. What looked like it used to be a bar is now a storage shelf for dirty glasses and all purposes cleaner. Plenty of other "interesting" places to go. Do not go here.

Yelp
First time visit. I was in Manassas for the Spring 2022 Arts and Craft Festival near the Manassas Museum. We were strolling the streets of Old Town, to see if there were any restaurants that peaked our interest. We saw Crossroads and thought the board game and eating concept, was a unique one, and something we hadn't experienced before. We're not big games people, but we definitely love our fair share of Scategories. We ordered some drinks and burgers. The food is your standard bar fare. But, all of it was very tasty! The drinks and cocktails were creative, fun, delicious, and locally sourced! Overall, good food, and cool place to let your inner board game geek shine!

Yelp
It was a great little hole in the wall spot for unique first date drinks! Playing games really helps break the ice.

Yelp
I really loved this place, it was my second time being here and my boyfriends first. We loved everything, the games were fun, the service was good (though they could have checked on us a little more especially since there was only one other table being occupied on the entire first floor) but the food was also soooo good! Overall, we 10/10 recommend. They're a local business and have been impacted by COVID so if you're looking for a fun place to eat, drink and play some board games this is the spot!
