Crosta Pizzeria - Review - Makati - Manila - The Infatuation

"Crosta specializes in Neopolitan-style, sourdough pies, but is by no means a traditional pizzeria. Their creative specials are what put it over the top and inspire repeat visits. The Morty & Ella is the heavy-hitter, fragrant with a black truffle bechamel sauce base and slightly sweet and nutty with pistachio mortadella and roasted pistachio toppings. Crosta also occasionally has seasonal specials like a mango sticky rice pizza and a bilo-bilo (glutinous rice ball) pizza made with ube and coconut cream, glutinous rice balls, latundan bananas, tapioca pearls, jackfruit, and coconut flakes." - Jasmine Ting

Absolutely gorgeous pizzas! I got the pepperoni stuffed crust pizza and to be honest liked the veg and cheese stuffing even better than the main thing! The pepperoni was delicious though! There’s a long line usually so you can preorder and pick up. Wait time is around 20-25 mins to get your pizza. You can sit by the benches outdoors or indoors or at mini stop / uncle johns next door to get drinks. 🥤I don’t recommend eating at crosta itself I prefer takeout just because it’s always packed

My friends and I tried their pizza and had it dine in. Location wise, it is easy to find along leviste street. We went on a Friday late afternoon so people were lined up already tho service was fast especially for takeouts. Lot of staff were working that day so both customer are and counter area seemed crowded. The pizza was great, not sure if they had thin crust option as I came when my friend ordered already. The regular ones had thick crust but since we shared already it was just enough for us 3. Would love to try other flavors soon. Hope they had bigger space tho.

Crosta lives up to the buzz 🫡. You get what you pay for, quality is above all the usuals. For a good baseline the round Pepperoni, Pepperonley 2.0 is solid. Delicious and one of my favorite slices of actual pepperoni on a pizza, deliciously oily as it should be. And the base sauce had a depth and balance that stood up well to the cheese and savory meat. Then if wanting to try something different, the Morty & Ella is an absolute hit. First time trying the combo of mortadella, bechamel, and pistachio on pizza, but its gonna be hard not ordering this every next visit to Crosta. If you're up for good pizza don't miss out! But best to go off hours and on weekdays + eat it there while its hot!

Now, you’re wondering why they’re all queuing up? I was too… until I decided to park and line up when the lines were just short on a Saturday afternoon. Love the Crosta pizza but did not eat the pork just the one with the beef order. Super super nice and deserving of all praises. Bit pricey… yes … but all worth it.

Stepping into Crosta Pizzeria in Salcedo is an experience primarily defined by one thing: their absolutely delicious pizza. Seriously, the moment that first slice hits your palate, you'll understand why people rave about it. The crust is perfectly crisp and airy, the sauce is tangy and fresh, and the toppings are generous and high-quality. Each bite is a testament to their dedication to crafting truly exceptional pies. However, a heads-up for potential diners: the dining experience itself comes with a few significant caveats. The place is quite small, offering only counter seating without back support. While this might lend a certain "grab-and-go" charm, it's definitely not ideal for wheelchair users or anyone needing more ergonomic support during their meal. Maneuvering around the limited space can be a challenge. Adding to the discomfort, the air conditioning appears to be leaking and not working properly to cool the small dining area. On a warm day, this can make enjoying your fantastic pizza a less-than-comfortable affair. The humidity in the air combined with the lack of proper cooling can quickly turn a quick meal into a sweaty ordeal. In summary, if your sole priority is savoring truly magnificent pizza, Crosta Pizerria is a must-try. Their pies are a culinary triumph. Just be prepared for a very intimate dining space, counter seating that lacks back support (and isn't wheelchair-friendly), and a rather warm ambient temperature due to the problematic AC. Consider taking your delicious pizza to go if comfort is a high priority.

Crosta Pizzeria in Makati is an absolute must-try, especially if you’re a fan of Detroit-style pizza. Those thick, crispy-edged, cheesy-heaven squares are unreal — the kind of slices that make you question every life decision that didn’t involve eating here sooner. The crust is perfectly airy, the toppings are loaded with flavor, and every bite feels like a warm, cheesy hug from the pizza gods. The vibe is cool, the staff is friendly, and the food comes out fast — which is great, because once you smell that Detroit magic baking, patience becomes impossible. Honestly, Crosta didn’t just raise the bar… they raised the crust. 🍕😄 If you’re anywhere near Makati, do yourself a favor and grab a slice (or five). This place is Detroit-style done right.

Crosta never disappoints!!! This is honestly the best pizza we’ve ever had. We ordered the Morty and Ella, and the flavors were on another level. The black truffle béchamel adds a deep, earthy aroma, while the mozzarella and stracciatella give it that perfect creamy texture. The roasted pistachios add a nice crunch and it ties everything together beautifully. It’s definitely on the pricey side, but worth every peso for the quality and flavor. The only downside was that we waited for more than an hour for our take-out order, but even with the long wait, the pizza was still amazing. I’d eat this every day if they had a branch in Manila!

We had lunch here and the pizzeria was always jampacked with customers so the order will take 30min to 1 hour with limited seating capacity. The taste of the Peperoni Pizza was like buying Pizza from an ordinary Pizza Shop since it had the same taste and filling on my end. If your looking for a good Pizzeria best to go to Gino’s as the quality for taste and comfort is there. Costa is only the better choice if you want a quick bite and a long wait what makes them different is the presentation of their pizza only
