Pretty cool looking place! First time we’ve been here. A little expensive for my taste. $19 for 3 beers? Yikes. 😬 Didn’t know if they had food so just ordered drinks. Bartender was really nice and knowledgeable about his beers.

Self proclaimed dive bar, and it's pretty fun. Clearly for the locals but friendly to me who's not local all the same. Had a great time spending a Friday afternoon shooting it with everyone there. If you are staying nearby, check it out. Get a pickle shot!

Great bar. No frills, great people nice selection of beer and liquor. It’s a spot to sit by yourself or bring the crew on the weekend. Best bartenders in all of Denver. They will always make you feel welcomed. Of note Johnny and Anna are top notch. I think they’re in on Tuesdays.

This was an unexpected and awesome stop! Drinks were excellent, service was friendly and attentive, and there it's something to look at EVERYWHERE!

Our favorite neighborhood dive bar. Monica kills it behind the bar! We live to hang out and watch the rest of the murder (crows, look it up) get sauced. Some cool games in the back. I like to give the old flippers a wack when it's not too busy. My only beef is the availability of their merch, I still need a damn Murder shirt!

Went to this bar the other night for the first time time. The bartender was super kind and attentive! He consistently made sure we had a drink in our hands and was super kind! I really loved the vibe of this place too. They have a whole room of fun little games one being a photobooth! What I loved was their $3 spin a wheel for a shot where you got a shot of whatever it landed on! I got the pickle shot and then a deep eddys one! They also have a mystery shot option too! Super cute and I extremely reasonable pricing! They don't have a kitchen but have someone who will deliver you food and doesn't even have a delivery fee or anything Super cute bar and will definitely be back! I highly recommend to everyone!

Such a great hole in the wall bar. I felt like a local! Johnny the bartender was really friendly and made some great cocktails!

This place is a 4.1? Negative, Ghostrider. What are you looking for? White table cloths? This is the perfect dive bar, and my wife and I are submitting this as our entry in the unknown dive bar contest our friends just started. No pool table, but still keeps it at a five star review. Shane was nice, efficient, and awesome. Gtee, Big Buck Hunter, a flipping juke box, and stuff on the walls that will make you smile. Regulars were welcoming, and not judgy. Make time, folks.

Had a stellar experience at this place! It's small but we made do with our group of 8 motley fools. Great drinks, good value, really friendly staff, and fun artwork. Location is decent - street parking only. Had a great time and they treated us wonderfully. Recommended!

A couple of friends came into town from Las Vegas and Crow Bar is in my hood so we met there. The place was half empty just people up at the bar. We took a booth across from the bar and watched the bartender a large rotund man with long hair ignore us. My buddy went up to the bar and stood there for several minutes. The big boy couldn't be bothered he was leaning on the bar talking to someone. If you have been to Crow Bar you know it's easy to see the whole front room from the bar. Not sure what the guys' problem was. I have noticed BIG ATTITUDE from the bartenders at this place. Probably will not go back. Way too many good choices in the area.

Came here after a show at the oriental and it was such a good time! The ambiance is nice, there's a jukebox (super cheap), drinks are decently priced and STRONG. the pickle shots are 10/10. Had a great time will be back.

I have honestly never been to a place more awful than crow bar. The decor is cool, tonight's bartender was cool, but it's hit or miss with bartenders. I've been to crow bar a handful of times and it's been mediocre at best. The beers are average-high price and the atmosphere is just okay. Tonight sent it over the edge of not returning. The "owner" and some staff were also drinking at the bar, which I didn't know or mind until closing time when they started to get aggressive about me leaving. I had been respectful and quietly, but still friendly finishing my drinks and the songs I played on their juke box when the owner starting getting aggressive. The bartender tried to smooth it over explaining they had been drinking, but f that. I don't need my night ending on such a negative note because they want the bar to themselves 3 minutes earlier than closing.

Johnny is the best, and made this my favorite bar! Super friendly, always remembers my order, and generous pours. Favorite staff and favorite bar.

So in honor of my spankin' new Yelp Elite badge Sean needed a Lone Star. This a damn fine Great local bar that's probably not as dive-y as I like em' these days. Crow on a Wednesday evening after work is a great spot to hang out for a few drinks, play some bar games, and not pay too much for beer. Lots of accumulated paraphernalia lining the walls. Decidedly not trendy. Which I dig.

I ADORE the crow bar. I see a lot of negative reviews on this place and it's because they take NO BS. You come in acting rude and entitled, don't expect to be treated like you're hot sh*t. The bartenders are AWESOME and the alternative vibe is perfect. I've never had a bad experience, and neither have my friends.

A man at the bar today said some awful things to me and I let him know it wasn't ok. He stood over me and continued so I raised my voice and the bartender (female) told me "not to look for attention". Didn't feel like a woman safe space so we left.

The only place open past 10 pm in Denver that would serve us. Monica was a sweetheart and deserves a raise!

This bar is unwelcoming and rude. The worst dive bar you could go to. All of the bartenders are abrasive and offensive. Go elsewhere and save yourself the bad time. They give your neighborhood dive bar a bad rep.

Crow Bar is such a great hidden gem! Great neighborhood bar, games on the tables, tons of plants & crow pantings/art give it such a cool aesthetic. Drinks are CHEAP like wow that's what really keeps me coming back haha. Bartenders are all super friendly and its never extremely packed. As long as you're there before 10:30pm on a Saturday you should be able to snag a table all to yourself for the night.

Love Claire!!! She's an amazing bartender who takes such good care of us and is so friendly. I highly recommend this place.

I'm very excited for Shane (one of the co owners) tomorrow is the grand opening of the crow bar - I will be here to see what's good- Last nights grand opening was a great turn out- A ton of people crowded up this lil dive, I didn't take any pics, but trust me we showed up at 9:30-10:00 and had to stand for a few before friendly drinkers offered me a seat- Had a good chat with my native friends from the neighborhood and enjoyed sharing the memories of the north Denver dive that has been going through all the changes of owners in the past 3 years and supporting this last of the neighborhood dives - Salute to all of us Denverites for staying and embracing the changes of establishments and new comer's -

The Crow Bar has one of the greatest bartenders I have ever encountered. My fiancée and I stumbled into this place by accident to celebrate his 31st Birthday. Jonny was our bartender and went above and beyond to make the night special. If it wasn't for his exceptional service, it would have just been another regular, shmegular birthday. All I know is, Jonny deserves a raise! You won't find another like him anywhere else. Thank you for the ever lasting memories!

Does not seem as much has changed from Nip & Sip. + Friendly bartender. + $2.50 draft beer special (14-16 oz) Same look. There is a new mural on the north wall (outside).

Claire at the bar is a friend of mine. She gets me my drinks for pretty cheap. Matthew on the other hand seems to like the San Francisco Giants. He must be from Wyoming.

Solid neighborhood bar. Great place, people and bartender. This is the place you want to be.

I've only been in town for a couple of weeks and the whole time it has been ungodly cold. This leaves me searching for a warm place to chill out, catch up on some reading and knock back a couple after long grueling days of hard work. The ladies behind the bar are cool as f*, the decour is shabby chic and the beer is cold, what else do you need? Also cool...this place doesn't seem like the usual hipster draw but more so a local hang out; that equals better. This is a great place to pregame, probably awesome in the later evening but my old man ass never sticks around long enough to find out.

If you're looking for an awesome neighborhood dive bar - THIS IS THE PLACE!!! Not just the employees, but the customers, mirror the owner, Mel (congratulate her, she just got married!!!) as being a truly great person. And my wife, the ultimate pizza snob, says The Horseshoe Lounge, has the best pizza in the city!!

Best dive bar I have been in. Shane the bartender was amazing, great to chat with, good strong mixed drinks. Sadly, only staying in Denver for a week, and found this gem the night before I fly out. Early in the night, MTV classics playing on the TV and over the sound system, was awesome. Patrons are cool AF, easy to make friends. Highly recommend.

Small cool little bar that has character! Love the decor and the atmosphere. Cool games, pretty plants and awesome music playing.

Really cool, friendly laid back staff. A place to lock your bikes, tunes, games, food and more. Definitely worth checking out! They even have a photo booth.

Love this place! I live right next door to it! Friendly and amazing bartenders, and all the guests, a lot being regulars, are all absolutely nice people!!! When I first moved here I didn't know it was a bar, so I'm so glad I finally went in with my friends from Mantra Tattoo!!! You guys are awesome! Friendly neighborhood bar where outsiders are welcomed. A bunch of my favorite microbrews are here, and a few great new favorites. There is a pinball machine in the back, a jukebox, and a bunch of friendly locals.

What a unique place. I honestly didn't know what to expect when my friends suggested hopping over to this place, but I'm glad I was willing to give it a shot. It's adorable and cozy with a super friendly staff. Drinks are inexpensive and their music playlist is perfect. I'm sure this will become a regular spot for us!

Definitely my favorite bar to go to in Denver. The entire crew at Crow Bar is fantastic and the service is always the best.

Very bad experience on December 12, at around 3pm. I see from the reviews that Crow's bar is rated highly. So it is a shame that one employee can potentially ruin the bar's reputation among prospective customers. We had a bad experience when an employee came after us after we had left the bar having purchased some to go drinks. We purchased the drinks to support local businesses despite finding out on that day that we could not drink in the facility. The employee was belligerent and began yelling at us by the side of the building as we headed home. She yelled at us saying "you are not going to tip me... I am not working for free". She then proceeded to approach me in an aggressive manner while cursing at us. I was a bit shaken as was my girlfriend. She eventually told me to fuck myself and headed back into the bar. I always tip, especially during this time in the midst of a pandemic. This time was an oversight as I was preoccupied on another matter. Having said that, there is no excuse for that type of behavior. I understand that folks are hurting during this pandemic, but tipping is a choice by the customer and her job is not a venue for charity but a job. We all have to work. I honestly thought of going back to the bar and handing her a 25 dollar bill, because that is the type of man that I am; but I cannot reward that type of behavior. I don't think that she is working for free as she claimed; she was doing her job. I should not have be a venue for her to vent her frustrations on. I was a customer. That behavior should not be tolerated. No business owner should allow an employee to treat customers like that. But most importantly, no human being should treat another like that.

Really cute and cozy neighborhood bar. The staff is super friendly and love the vibe. Great beers on tap too. Seems like exactly the kind of place I would hang out all the time if I lived nearby.

Awesome neighborhood spot with friendly bartenders, a jukebox, and Super Mario Brothers in the back. Pro tip: Throw down $2, and you can roll the dice (literally) on a *mystery* shot!

Popped in here on my way home a few weeks ago and have been coming back ever since. Cool little bar with an awesome staff. The owner Shane serves up a stiff drink for a good price and and will keep you throughly entertained. Smoked wings and a meat and cheese plate are also priced well and tasty. Skip the nonsense of the highlands and head this way.

The smell was awful! Service was worse ! We weren't even acknowledged at all we sat down for 15 minutes and not one person greeted us except the dog. Ya I said dog. Well that's what I get for googling some random place I guess.. I do not recommend this place.

Johnny makes this dive a Denver dime. Go early as it can get crowded. Great drinks , awesome games and always a good time.

Crow bar is a great little bar with a ton of history. The owner Shane has kept it relatively the same with obviously needed updates included a game room with and old Super Nintendo which is awesome. Small and enjoyable food program with smoked wings and meat and cheese plates that are priced right and delicious. In a town where we tend to throw away our history, the Crow Bar decided to preserve it. Come on in and feel at home.

Shane's bar is the place to go. People are friendly service is great. Your people need to come down here for happy hour because it's happening.
