Google
this place is decorated so nicely for the holidays! seemed a bit understaffed for a busy Thursday, so service was borderline nonexistent — aside from that I’d say it was great. Will be back maybe when it’s a bit slower.

The Lady Bartender was great. Her great customer service. She made me 2 different drinks, but also let me add my mix to it. The drinks were very tastey and well made. Lowkey yet great vibes atmosphere.

Crow Bar remains one of our absolute favorite go-to spots in Trolley Square! No matter how many times we visit, they continue to surprise us with fresh, creative drinks and new dishes that keep things exciting. On our latest visit, we ordered the grilled octopus, Korean fried chicken bao buns, and the roasted mushroom pizza. The octopus was outstanding—perfectly tender with a tamarind glaze and curry-cantaloupe purée that elevated every bite. The Korean fried chicken bao buns are a must-have every time—consistently flavorful, crispy, and satisfying. The roasted mushroom pizza didn’t disappoint either, delivering rich, earthy flavors with a beautifully crisp crust. Their cocktail menu is equally impressive. From originals to o.g. classics, you can’t go wrong—but my personal favorite is the Cachaçafari: bright, refreshing, and ideal for spring or summer sipping.

Google
Stopped in with my wife for date night. We really enjoyed ourselves. Located in Trolley Square, the ambience of the place is really neat. Exposed brick, electic art, a nice long bar, and table seating. We had the burger which was excellent, tacos which were very good, and dessert which was the weakest of the offerings. The service was excellent. We still loved the overall experience and would recommend visiting.

Google
I'm not sure why this place isn't better known. It's kind of the perfect neighborhood restaurant. It has a fun atmosphere and solid service. The drink menu is impressive for the area as is the food. On a weekend night when the restaurant was quite full, we still had no trouble getting a reservation or finding parking. We did appetizers and entrees but I could see making a fun meal out of sharing a lot of apps. I'm excited to try this group's other restaurants.

Google
Great service, food, drinks, and atmosphere. I ordered a cheese pizza with roasted garlic and my partner got the birria tacos - highly recommend both!

Google
I had an incredible time at The Crowbar in Wilmington, Delaware! The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, the staff was super friendly and attentive, and the drinks were top-notch. Everyone there—from the bartenders to the other patrons—added to the great vibe. It’s rare to find a place with such a perfect mix of great service, tasty drinks, and genuinely good people. Can’t wait to come back again soon. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and looking for a fun night out!

Google
I had the Smokey Mirrors drink and am now officially obsessed. It was FANTASTIC, and I’ll go so far as to say it was the best cocktail I’ve ever had. So I drank three. Ha! Anyway, the service was EXCELLENT, really nice staff to talk to and very speedy service. I tried the tuna tartare for a shared appetizer, it was the perfect portion and nice and light. For dinner I split the hot chicken plate and it was delicious! I can’t wait to go back to Crow Bar.

Yelp
Based on previous reviews, I think this has changed a bit. I was surprised to see the 3.5 star overall rating because we really enjoyed both our visits here. There is also no longer a happy hour so plan accordingly. Crowbar has two cute seating areas inside, the bar and the back. The bar has seated and standing options, and the back area is a more moody vibe. We got margaritas and the Float Like a Butterfly to start with and shishito peppers as an app. I told them how much I loved the miso molasses glaze, and they brought me more to dip, which was super kind. The tuna tartare was a bit spicy and we enjoyed it so much that we ordered a second one. We got both the margarita pizza and the peach and prosciutto pizza that was topped with pistachios and honey. The peach pizza wasn't the prettiest, but it was so delicious!! The birra tacos comes with two corn tacos which is kind of small for an entree and I didn't love the filling. I also didn't love their beef empanadas, so I think it might be the beef filling across the board for me. However, the cauliflower tempura was perfect so that made up for it. The two sauces they put together added a nice amount of flavor and heat. Will definitely be going back to try even more!

Yelp
I had a wonderful time at the festive crow bar. The whole place is decorated for Christmas with lights, decorations and a fun atmosphere. The background noise and music was just right to have conversation and not hear other tables. The service was great. We ordered three apps and split them all. The tuna with avocado was my favorite. We also got a pear and prosciutto pizza which is more like a flat bread. It was very good and had enough pizza for us each to have 2 slices (6 total). The bao buns were also delicious! The drinks were on point! One had rosemary and was refreshing. The cosmo was standard but also had a fun dried blood orange slice. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
I went to Crow bar for a happy hour with a friend. Crow bar offers indoor and outdoor seating. There is a smaller section in the back of the restaurant with a few tables as well for a more intimate experience. We ordered a few appetizers to share. Ranking the items from least to most favorite. My least favorite appetizer was the tuna tartare 2/5.I would have loved a little more acid with the avacado. I also would have liked the taro chips with a little bit of salt. Crab pad thai: 3/5 definitely lacked some acid. Roasted beet salad. 4/5The roasted beet salad was just okay. Nothing special about it but still good. Pear& Prosciutto pizza 5/5. This pizza was amazing the homey drizzle was a chefs kiss. Still thinking about this pizza! I would go back and try this place again.

Yelp
Visiting a college bud for the weekend and I am so glad the locals brought me here!! So good!!! The Caesar salad was amazing! Those garlic bread pieces ... wow! And dressing was perfect plus I LOVE anchovies.. so much flavor. I also had the Oyster sliders.. yum. Highly recommended burger and the fries!!! So good.. plus the tempura cauliflower. We enjoyed a nice bottle of white wine and our request for fixings to make white wine spritzers was easily and happily accommodated. Thank You to our hostess Georgia and to our server, Sam. You guys made us feel at home. Great table outside in the front was a bonus. Thank you for the great vibes and service. Cheers!

Yelp
Loved the Octopus and yellow tomatoes. Red not so much. Food great. Service good too! Must try.

Yelp
Our new favorite date night!! This spot is super fun inside with large window that can open in the front to enjoy the weather. We were here just a few weeks ago and the menu changed slightly. I get an asian fusion vibe from it. There are tons of options for everyone that are moderately priced - good for the area. One of my fav apps that isn't on the menu anymore was the buffalo chicken dip. The tuna tartare is an all star app option. We loved the wonton chips. The pork belly fried rice could be its own entree it was so good. The drinks are so creative and the bartenders are always spot on with every drink. The only thing probably not worth the price was the burger compared to everything else on the menu. It's a decent size but all the apps went above and beyond and I'd glad pay the price for. (if i'm just being picky honestly) 5 stars regardless and you don't wanna miss this spot

Yelp
Crowbar is one of the more upscale restaurants in the trolley Square area, so I enjoy going here! Their happy hour is decent but caters more to drinks than food. I tried the aperol spritzer which was fruity, and very refreshing! The mushroom bao buns were so fluffy and light stuffed with pickled onions, and the most tasty yet spicy mushroom filling. The kale salad was smothered in cheese and a lite bit. I ordered the garlic, ricotta pizza and asked for it without sausage. It wasn't my favorite item. I thought it lacked ricotta and had way too many tomatoes on it! Overall this place is adorable, they have high quality food, and the servers are very nice!

Yelp
Atmosphere was nice. Appetizers were great (we got the chicken drumettes and the pimento cheese). I had the steak frites as my main meal though and it had a bitter, almost lighter fluid, kind of taste to it.

Karen N.

Yelp
I had dinner at the crow bar a week ago. I left a jacket there and don't live in the area and called to confirm they have the jacket so I can send someone to pick it up. I have called and left messages every day for a week. No one answers the phone and no one has returned my call. I can't understand how a restaurant won't answer the phone or return messages. My review would've been much better before they totally blew me off.

Yelp
Great service and food. A nice atmosphere. A fun place for couples or small groups. We always enjoy our experience there.

I B.

Yelp
Although I have dined here several times I recently started trying the burger and let me tell you that their burger is amazing! It's 2 perfectly seasoned patties 5oz each with a perfectly melted cheese on each Pattie. The burger comes with a tangy sauce that that hits the different flavor profiles upon the first bite. Every bite they follows is juicy and perfectly seasoned. This order comes with a side of seasoned fries that have an amazing seasoning that gives you that perfect salty, garlicky, oniony taste. Strongly recommend their burger, without a doubt I would nominate them for best burger in trolley. Don't forget to ask for their house made blue cheese to go with the fries and pair this entree with a Guinness or a Dewey pizzetta beer! I will definitely be going back for more and will share some pics next time

Yelp
Love this little place. We were seated in the back room which was quaint and adorable, with a very nice ambiance. Our server was super nice and attentive. I got a pinot noir and it was delish, and the pizza and charcuterie board was phenomenal! They have some pretty yummy cocktails too!
google avatar

Aishwarya S.

Yelp
Food was average and overtly expensive. Atmosphere was more bar style with tapas. Service was good

Spenser B.

Yelp
Super cute place! The only thing we ordered that we didn't ~love~ were the pork belly bao, which were good but felt like they needed an onion or a little extra punchy bite. The hangar steak for 2 was beautiful & super tasty, the shoestring fries were salty and plentiful. Our cocktails were very yummy & our server was great. Happy we stopped

Yelp
Solid 3.5, but I had a fun night with my wife so I rounded up. Great atmosphere. Well decorated, good space. Social standing tables and plenty of bar seats. I really appreciated the ambiance which would make for a nice date or a causal night out. Finding that balance is challenging but they found that balance At The Crow Bar. The menu was approachable for those with an advanced or entry level palate. The prosciutto and pear pizza was tempting, but I went with the Paella. The rice was really well done, even getting the socarrat in the dish (the crunchy rice on the bottom of the pan). Scallops cooked beautifully. They melted in your mouth exactly as they should. Shrimp perfect as well. two big bummers with this dish. 1) The mussel shells were so brittle when I tried to open them to get the meat they shattered. I just got shell bits all over my food. 2) someone went WAY to heavy on the finishing salt. Holy smokes. There were like 6 bites (where they finished way to heavy) that were SALTY. Someone definitely messed up. It was embarrassingly So salty. Fortunately it was on one Portion of the dish so I could mostly avoid it. My wife had the burger with the onion jam. I of course tried a bite and it was delicious. The brioche held up well to the juicy burger that was cooked how she asked (medium). Solid bite of food that had sweetness and some bitterness. Some mild heat would have really taken it over the top. Nothing crazy, but to really balance everything out. Overall the food was good (sans the big big big salting mistake). Service was very average. Maybe just below average. No one was smiling. I didn't see one smile from anyone there all night. A packed restaurant should make everyone happy, because that means $$$. We waited a VERY long time for our check. I was also a little bummed that we weren't told there was a happy hour in the bar area until after we were seated. Maybe growing up in Vegas engrained high service standards in my blood, but elite restaurant hosts will always ask, "Would you like to enjoy our happy hour in the bar area or be seated for your meal?" I'd love to give this place another shot and try some of their other adventurous dishes. Ocotopus anyone?

Yelp
I really enjoy this place. It's a great atmosphere for Trolley. The food has really improved over the years. Very tasty and easy to share. Who doesn't want to eat more delicious food? I wish they could be open on Sundays - it's so difficult to find a good local restaurant that day.

Yelp
Crow Bar was a much needed addition to Trolley Square. Upscale, dimmed lighting, beautiful atmosphere, and arguably the best cocktail lineup in the area -- it's our favorite place to get dressed up and walk to dinner for date night (we live a few blocks away). I love that they have a different menu compared to most places in Wilmington. Sometimes they miss the mark on flavor, and sometimes maybe the dish just isn't what I expected it to be -- but they overall do a really great job at switching things up and bringing new + refreshing dishes to their menu. This is definitely the restaurant that we aim to try things we have never had before. We come with an open mind for flavor profiles, and I think thats why we continue to see this as a favorite spot of ours. Last night, I tried the pork Milanese, a dish I've never tried before. I wasn't a fan of the pork, but that was at no fault of the chef. It was something I had never had + I just found out that the baked/fried breaded pork wasn't for me. The cucumber yogurt(¿) sauce base that the pork was placed on top of was SO GOOD and imo they could have added more of the pickled cucumbers. My server noticed I hadn't ate much of my dish and when I denied taking it home, he asked if I didn't like it. I told him I didn't love it but that I was glad I tried it. He took it off our check without me asking and I just thought that was so, so nice. Would love to see this space continue to do well + maybe be open for a Saturday brunch in the future!

Yelp
So under-rated! This is a hidden gem in Wilmington, that we came into and literally everything was cheaper and as good or better than similar bar/restaurants we have back in Philly. Mixed drinks were top notch, wings, mushroom ssam platter, and margherita pizza were all amazing. Alexis and the other bartender were great to chat up and took great care of us!!
google avatar

Yelp
COVID has nothing to do with how poor the service was or how poorly made the food was. Allergenic food was added to a dish that was not listed on the menu, burger was WELL done after asking for medium, and steak was prepared properly but was cold. What's with the the fry pieces??? Asked for a fried egg on the burger, when I mentioned it had no "run" to it was told "that's what a fried egg means to us, you have to ask for sunny side up". Had a similar experience with take out a few months ago and thought we'd give another chance. Manager offered to comp the whole tab, we said we'd gladly pay for our own drinks. She replied "that's ok we don't mind doing that". We waited for 5 minutes and no tab was brought to us so we left...only to have the server (who was absent most of our visit) yell at the top of her lungs across the street that we still had an open tab! Won't be back. Ever.

Yelp
Brand new place (I think it's been open for a week)great location in the middle of Trolley Square we came here on a Friday night for drinks and a bite. It was pretty crowded and there was a wait for a table but they had these nice high top communal tables that you can congregate at as well as a bar area. Great decor and ambience. Specialty cocktails looked interesting I ordered the Superfly which was tasty- Not that many beer options. For food we tried two types of pizza-- the mushroom and the peach and prosciutto --both were good (not amazing) but we were happy with them. All the food coming out looked appetizing we would definitely like to come back and try a few of their other small plates. Staff was friendly they even came and refilled our waters at the standing bar. Off to a good start! Worth it to check out!

Geni C.

Yelp
I really like the vibe at the crowbar and their Harry and David cocktail is to die for. I just love it. I had the Mushu duck and thought that the way they prepared it was very interesting, unusual and very good. It is just a cool place to hang out and have some good food
google avatar

Andrea S.

Yelp
Just what Trolly Square needed The crow has it all Beautifully designed Upscale city bar atmosphere Starting out with a few signature cocktails that were made with love Plenty of small plates to choose from which were all amazing
google avatar

Brit M.

Yelp
A soon to be staple in trolley! Fantastic bar with a an ambiance that can swank it up or be after work jeans casual. Great menu- fabulous burger and small plates- the chicken wings are on point and so is the pazole with pork. Staff are super down to earth and make the experience !
google avatar

Yelp
This is my favorite burger in Wilmington! Amazing cocktail selection and great atmosphere.

Yelp
Great cocktails and food. Staff is super nice. Nice vibe inside and good people watching sitting outside.

Yelp
I meet a friend i have not seen i n a long time due to the pandemic after 2 hours and while we were still eating they asked us to leave because they had another reservation waiting. It must be nice to ask people to leave your restaurant, while so many are struggling.

Lo D.

Yelp
Great cocktails and great food, one of my favorite bars. Also $10 pizza on Wednesdays
google avatar

Kathleen K.

Yelp
We had a group of 15 come into the bar for drinks. Some of us lived in trolley, but my husband volunteered to be designated driver for others who live outside the city. We sat in a group at and around the bar. Although my husband paid for a round of drinks, he was not drinking alcohol. The bartender told him that he was not allowed to sit with us at the bar and would have to give up his seat and stand for the entire visit! She explained that it was their policy that designated drivers could not sit with their party at the bar! The bartenders were also rude and openly hostile to patrons. We have been there several times, but will never be back.
google avatar

Travis L.

Yelp
Food was cold, allergens were added to one of our meals and not listed on the menu, burger was extra well done after ordering medium, steak was cooked great, but less than warm. Waitress was absent. Manager said she would take care of our whole tab even after we insisted we would take care of our drinks. We waited around for a few minutes and no check was brought to us so we left. As we were across the street the waitress YELLED AT THE TOP OF HER LUNGS IN FRONT OF TONS OF PATRONS "YOU ALL STILL HAVE A DRINK TAB YOU NEED TO TAKE CARE OF!" I'm disgusted. Will never be back.

Marah C.

Yelp
Let me start by saying the service is fantastic, my server was very attentive, gave great suggestions to drinks and foods but also never let me wait for anything. The food was piping hot and had so much flavor! I highly recommend coming here & trying the burger and the sopressata pizza. I'd give 10 stars if i could.
google avatar

Danielle L.

Yelp
Manager gave us a quick shout out when we came for a work shindig. Had amazing gender neutral bathrooms.

Ed A.

Yelp
Had 2 stars but dropped to 1, as my wife and I are extremely put off by Management of this restaurant. They charged our card twice and have not been returning our calls (left voicemails and direct messages with their employees), and it has now been 4 days and probably half a dozen attempts. Here were the two pros of this mediocre experience: -Temp. control on the burgers (and the quality of the beef) were spot on. Mid rare and a mid well each done with solid precision. I thought the onion jam was overpowering, but that's just my personal opinion and shouldn't necessarily deter. -The blue cheese for the wings was excellent. Hindsight - would have put that on the burger to make it a bacon black and blue. Cons: -Wine up charge: In my experience, there are 4 glasses in a bottle of wine. Charging $10 per glass and $50 for a bottle didn't seem to make sense. -Sub-par wings: Went with Korean BBQ wings. Sauce was not overly flavorful and very sparse. Wings fell off the bone but soft/mushy skin texture. Also, asked for wet naps afterwards and they didn't have any. What? -Beware of the bathroom sink! Since they did not carry wet naps, I went to wash my hands after the wings. In just seconds, the water got scolding hot and burnt the sh*t out my hand. -Wedge salad: wife ordered and was missing the pepitas. (details, I know, but they add up and homegirl wanted some pumpkin seeds!) -Service: With full respect of the grind, it was below average. Our server was kind, but inexperienced and neglectful. Took a very long time coming to our table at all, and walked away from us multiple times while we were still talking/placing orders. Still tipped 20% and grateful for those that work in the industry. -Double Charged: I thoroughly reviewed the receipt since our service experience was seedy. While everything was documented correctly, I looked at my bank account this morning and was charged twice. We were ready to give a second chance, namely focusing on their apps and cocktail list, but after management not returning our multiple calls to rectify their error, we find it hard to want to support this establishment.

Yelp
My wife and I decided to give this new spot a try and are so glad that we did! Nice atmosphere, high quality drinks and the appetizers were fantastic. We showed up around 6:15 on a Saturday and the place was already 90% filled. We stood at a high top and that was fine with us. If you want a seat without waiting, you probably need to arrive before 6 on a Friday or Saturday. The entrees looks great but we were happy to share three appetizers with our drinks.
google avatar

Laura S.

Yelp
Love the atmosphere and food, can't wait to come back! Great addition to Trolley Square!

Greg O.

Yelp
We have been going here since they opened. Used to be great. COVID has killed so many restaurants. This one is still going, but should have died. Menu is very limited, wait staff was overwhelmed and not well experienced, we chose the Swiss chard wrapped sausage with lemongrass, mint, stir fry with rice noodles... sounded good but flavorless and boring. The guy next to us couldn't eat his either. Cocktails remain excellent.
google avatar

Nicholas T.

Yelp
Great dinner with my wife. The swordfish was amazing. Atmosphere is great. They make an incredible old fashioned. Definitely going back
google avatar

Pam M.

Yelp
Good atmosphere but TERRIBLE food. The pad Thai was pasty and salty. Chips are homemade but soggy. Pizza is okay but sweet. We will stick to other restaurants in the area.
google avatar

Aaron D.

Yelp
I meet some friends for breakfast here recently. The portions where small, the food was bland, and the price was steep. The server was nice, but I don't have any plans of returning. There is nothing special here.
google avatar

Dominic C.

Yelp
I love this bar! Great atmosphere, and the food and drinks are excellent. I was there last Friday night and had to go back Saturday night! I had the Tuna appetizer Friday night, and on Saturday, I had the Octopus appetizer followed by the burger. Everything was cooked to perfection. The bartenders are great! I met Jamie and Keith and they know exactly how to pour a drink and keep you entertained. You must go here!
google avatar

Stuart M.

Yelp
This new place was packed for Friday night, but unfortunately they're off to a rocky start. The staff was welcoming but pretty overwhelmed, and the hostess struggled to keep track of everyone. We had a drink, were seated, ordered, and then just waited... When our entrees finally showed up, one was cold, and they had forgotten our appetizer. We had to hear about how the kitchen swore it had come out or something, and then were promised we wouldn't pay for it. It could have been handled better. The food was definitely above average for Trolley Sq. Hope they figure it out.

Brian L.

Yelp
Having heard various reviews from friends and acquaintances I looked forward to experiencing the restaurant myself, last night was the first time I had the opportunity. The minute I entered the bar I realized what a mistake I had made coming to this bar that happens to serve food. The noise level was deafening. Myself and three friends were seated at a table near the back of the bar and it was so loud we could not hear each other speaking. The waitress finally came over and tried to take our orders we had to ask her to repeat herself multiple times. The food was mediocre, the service was standard and the atmosphere was that of a frat house full of old men looking to score with the soccer moms who, apparently don't get out much but when they do, have no idea how to act in public, had no interest in the letches hitting on them. Don't waste your time or money.

Laura L.

Yelp
Wonderful experience in the back room for a birthday party. Andrea was so easy to work with for planning and Diego gave exceptional service all throughout the party. The cocktails are awesome (love the Superfly) and all of the food was great. Definitely recommend!

Linda H.

Yelp
I drove out to this restaurant after getting out of the nearby hospital at 5 pm only to find out it was closed. These people should have posted hours on the door. The two adjacent restaurants had hours posted on there doors.

Isaac G.

Yelp
Service was terrible, ordered a drink and did not receive it for more than 30 mins. The crowd was also very loud and disrespectful.

L L.

Yelp
Went with a friend for dinner. Busy and buzzy, but the food...not what i expected from Chef Sikora. The burger was uneven in its toppings and mediocre flavor. The Pad Thai seemed incomplete and insufficient for an $18 entree. Servers were nice, drinks were good, but a disappointing experience as a whole. Not feeling compelled to revisit. Maybe we just should have ordered a couple appys and stopped there?

Venu G.

Yelp
My friends I pop in here all the time. The bartenders are fun and helpful. The menu is eclectic and sure to please just about any palate. Late night menu has pizza and you can't go wrong. The place has a 70s cocktail bar theme and is built primarily around causal noshing on small plates. These owners are from La Fia, Merchant Bar and Hearth ... so you know they are bringing their A game. Kudos to them and our bartender Jamie who will take care of you!

Karen L.

Yelp
I mean peach's on pizza...ew! But, guess what!? It wasn't...so freaking good! Best pizza I've had in a long time. My only issue was the acoustics are a bit off. It was loud. Overall great experience.

Julie R.

Yelp
Crowbar has a really cute vibe and great drink/ food menu. With that said our service was pretty bad, our waitress barely checked in on us and seemed miserable. The mushroom truffle melt was suuuuper salty but besides that our food was great! The tuna poke and hanger steak were amazing. I would give it another try knowing they are new and probably working through some service kinks.

Robert H.

Yelp
What restaurant only has an answering machine to leave messages during hours of operation? So for reservations the website states "Send us a message and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. You can also reach us by phone at 302-482-1241. Looking forward to hearing from you." Hence I called twice during the week and sent a message on the site but never heard back so I assumed (we all know what that means) the reservation was confirmed since there was not call to adjust time. We showed up with guest from JPM to only hear that there is no reservation and we cannot be seated and am told that they don't pick up their phone messages and did not check the messages from the site today and the best way to make a reservation is to come in person to make the reservation. For Real! It might be easier if they came to my house and cooked than make a reservation. So for the restaurant owner; You desperately want this people to bring their family, friends and clients to your establishment and become lifelong customers, then you need to do something!
