My girlfriend and I were looking for a spot to go have a couple drinks to celebrate her birthday. We are both huge fans of SPB and have been patiently waiting to see what was going to happen with 11 Wells. When we saw that the Crowbar was opening on Black Friday we knew it would be the perfect spot to check out for some birthday drinks, and let me tell you we had one of the best nights out in a long time! What started as stopping in for 1-2 drinks quickly turned into spending our entire evening/night at the Crowbar. The atmosphere was so much fun! I could have spent all night just looking at all the different details that were put into this place to completely transform the space from what was 11 Wells. From all the art/decorations to the Confessional Room to the beer can wall to the cozy couches or bar height tables to the vinyl record player spinning music played throughout the bar over “Sputnik” (an original functioning speaker from the Metrodome!) made it the perfect atmosphere to sit back and enjoy our cocktails! Speaking of which, all the drinks we’re had were top tier! Our favorites were the Prix Fixe and the Baked Itasca. Also, don’t over think it and get a couple Devil’s Eggs. Trust us! I was also impressed with both the co-owners, Liza and ReGina, were present and making rounds talking with all the bar patrons. We had wonderful conversations with both Liza and ReGina, as they educated us about their visions for the Crowbar and Volière Spirits. You can easily tell that they are both extremely passionate about this project, and their passion definitely comes to life as soon as you enter the Crowbar! We will definitely be back and hope to become Crowbar regulars! ALSO, Kiki (sp?) was just the best server! Thank you for singing happy birthday to Krista and brining so much fun, high energy, and laughs (CINNAMON EXPLOSION 🤣🤣🤣) to our night!!
