The Decades-Old Las Vegas Bar That Inspired ‘Mr. Brightside’ Has Closed - Eater Vegas

"The nearly 30-year-old, British-style pub, closed for good last week. It was known for its British food, soccer game watch parties, and 24-hour service. The pub featured dishes like sausage rolls, Scotch eggs, Cornish pasties, fish and chips, and sticky toffee pudding. It also had about 30 beers on draft and hosted lively watch parties during the World Cup. The location was closed to consolidate operations, but another location at 4755 West Spring Mountain Road remains open." - Janna Karel

I had no complaints about the taste of the food but rather the amount of food. $21 for one piece of fish and a few Fry's as you can see in the picture I posted. Also ordered spicy sausage which was $10 for one little sausage. We walked in and the place was empty now I know why.

Tri-L's

Google
We went for a breakfast and to catch a football game. Breakfast sandwich was great, not having over salted Fries was a great change of pace. Beer was fine, typical light american beer. Prices were reasonable too for Vegas, bit out of the way. I prefer the other site personally. I'd recomend it for a breakfast whilst there is a football match back home on though.

Google
Food was great! Although they were "out of" two of the main things we wanted. It's basically a dive bar with a restaurant in it, which is cool. They only had one waitress while we were there and she seemed overwhelmed and not too friendly.

Zach Platzer (Vythrin)

Google
First time having authentic British food like this and it was very good! I had the Fish and Chips. The chips (or french fries for us on this side of the pond) were excellent, but the fish... Oh man, the fish! The fish was coated in a delicious beer batter that packed so much flavor. The only criticism I have is that it was a little thick for my liking, making the center lack seasoning. I would prefer more fish but thinner rather than the one huge one we have. But that isn't to say it's bad. It's actually very very good. We got the sticky pudding for dessert. Honestly, I wasn't a huge fan of this and wouldn't get it again. But other people in my party enjoyed this more than I did, so your mileage may vary. I would recommend Crown & Anchor, especially if you enjoy British food.

Google
Such great atmosphere! Crown & Anchor really gives that British Pub experience. It's dark, quiet, and friendly. The drinks and food are inexpensive and good if not great. It's a great changeup from the normal overpriced, overstyled, Vegas bars we'd been to before and after here. I'll definitely return!

Google
Great location. Off the strip. Fresh food, good prices. Great beer selection. Friendly service very accommodating. The sticky toffee pudding was yum. And my burger was huge and very good. This place deserves your attention. Pictured- their club sandwich.

Google
I've never been inside an English Pub, but this place seems to be the real thing. The inside is a bit packed, with just enough space to walk between tables. The place does live up to it's name, as most of the decor is related to sailing or boating. The service did leave me wanting for more, but the place did go from pretty empty to jam packed during my meal. Although she seemed overwhelmed, the one waitress was very attentive to all the tables in her section. The food was pretty good. The mushrooms were perfectly seasoned, and well excellent prepared. I decided on the fish and chips, as they claim to be the best in town. The fish was beautiful fried, but the chips were a little lacking. Overall, this would be a good place to hang out after work, made evident by the groups that came in after I did. It seems cozy enough for a first date, but the cramped quarters would be conducive to a more intimate encounter.

Google
This pub was amazing. They have pool, good drinks, and great company in the pub. The billiards area is pretty secluded and makes for a great place to bring friends. The food though…. That’s fish sandwich, is unreal! Definitely recommend at 4.2/5

Yelp
This is the only true authentic club in all of Las Vegas! All others are pretend. It has a real English menu with English food,..it's been here since 1995...and ive been getting drunk here since then ;) I'm here now. The ONLY place to watch Soccer, especially the world cup. Spacious parking,...right across from UNLV and near a tire store and circle K...get gas right after getting lit and then park ur car and take an Uber!!! Update as of July 3 2024. Response to Richard :-) First of all I'm humbled and thankful that you responded to my comments, and I can say without a doubt the World cup final between France and Argentina at 5:00 in the morning piss drunk on Guinness,... At Crown an Anchor in 2022, when I almost left at halftime,.. and ended up witnessing the greatest match of soccer since the dawn of mankind. There are times that you wonder what you might miss in the military before certain OpOrds because things just don't look that good on certain deployments (I was in the 82nd airborne division) :-) this is one of the things I would have been really pissed at missing if I was up in heaven.... Add that to the fact that today i have a son and I'm now living on borrowed time brother!... Keep up the good work Richard!!

Yelp
Great pub with great food. The chicken tenders are homemade and cannot be beaten. The hamburgers are top-notch and please do not skip the chicken curry. It is delicious for a different take on it try it over fries. Nice smaller place.

Yelp
My family and I came here for a Sunday Roast today , everything was delicious , lamb and beef with all the trimmings, all our lunches were served simultaneously by a lovely friendly lady 10/10 excellent gravy and Yorkshire pudding. Apple crumble and custard very nice too. Very good experience and well priced . Thank you , we will be back .

Yelp
Pretty cool little English pub. I went down to the crown and anchor a few weeks ago for a few beers and apps. It was a fun time and I like the atmosphere

N D.

Yelp
After posting my experience the business owner did respond and intend to review their reservation process. That's great! Some other detail need to be mentioned was that particular event I was referring to required a reservation (posting their Ad). That evening was not open seating. Note the Ad states table reservation required.

Yelp
The best fish and chips in town. I know some folks may disagree with me i this one, but I think the fish and chips is the best in town. This is a legit British pub aside from all the yankees who frequent the place. The food is great and I honestly think you can't go wrong when you order off the British menu. I really like the staff, but the speed of the service can be dodgy at times. Just be patient with the knowledge the staff is doing the best they can under the circumstances beyond their control. The atmosphere and decor is great and it has a nautical feel to it. Order the chicken strips. It's nothing like you've had anywhere else. So good!

Yelp
Nice little Pub Kinda tucked in, I mean not tucked in, tucked in, it is by the Main Street of Tropicana, but if you not paying attention or drive a little faster, you will miss it Walked in first impression nice little place, only like 4 customers in there, one lady about 85% drunk, 3 guys probably tried to get in her pants. I ordered the mice beef pie? Not really sure the full name, also order the clam chowder soup Looking at the Yelp photo, the mice beef pie don't look that big, but is pretty good size, clam chowder was a-okay Overall, great little pub, great to have some friends gettering, hang out

Jim W.

Yelp
Good selection of Beer but at$7.50 over priced, now for the food, The scotch egg was fantastic, but way over priced at $9.00 for one, the fish and chips were okay at best, the chips were over cooked, the peas were cold, and the fish was cooked to long. Advertised as the best fish and chips in town, I hope this isn't best fish and chips in town, outside decor is dated and in a need of fresh paint almost left when we pulled up, inside would need a very good cleaning, server was very friendly and there is no military discount on anything.

Yelp
Went here on a Thursday around 2 PM. There was one waitress working behind the bar and about eight people in the entire place.. the waitress was so busy talking to the regulars. It took almost 35 minutes to get our drinks.the worst part was, we ordered our food at the same time, and that took another hour to come out. She apparently forgot about our order, and when we went up there to the bar to ask for another round of beers, she said." Oh, wait, you ordered food right?" Mind you. This was almost 40 minutes now since we originally ordered. When she finally brought the food out, she forgot my friends food entirely. I was the only one to get served in my fish and chips that I ordered were cold. I couldn't even eat the fish. It was so bad. The fish and chips cost $20 and all I got was one piece of fish and about seven fries. What a complete joke I will never come back to this place or recommend it to anybody.

Ed K.

Yelp
The portions got smaller and the prices have gone up. I had my favorite chicken curry a couple weeks ago and the portion was cut back. The burger today was dry and the bun on the stale side. If I'm going to pay nearly $20 for a burger it better be good.

Yelp
My friend & I were @ TopGolf & on our way home he asked me what I wanted to do & I said "lets go to a dive bar!!" He knew of this bar but I don't think he had ever been in there before??? So this is where we stopped. There were some people sitting outside on the outdoor patio when we arrived. The white building reminded me of a church but definitely not church like inside. lol We were greeted right away upon arrival inside. We went & sat @ the bar. Without even looking @ the signs up on the wall I tried to order a Tito's & the bartender had told me that they can't serve hard liquor at the bar but if we went to the area behind us she could. She had told us how this "weird" rule had become. I just ended up ordering a seltzer instead. I signed up for a players card & actually got $5.00 in FREE play while I was playing. The bartender was very nice, I believe her name was Lesley. She must really love working there because she had told us how she's been there for 16yrs. WOW!!! That's AWESOME. :-) She had asked us if we wanted a menu & we said no then she asked us if we wanted to just look @ one to see what they served. I was so hungry but was holding off, I'm so glad she asked us again because we ended up ordering....lol We got the chicken strips with honey mustard & a hot sauce that came with Ranch. I ordered the onion rings when I found out that they were hand made vs frozen. Let me tell you our food came out so fast!! I was impressed. The chicken strips were soooooooo good! Chicken tasted fresh, it was nice & moist and not dried out. The crust was thin & the honey mustard was yummy. I did have some chicken dipped in the hot sauce then in ranch, it wasn't too bad. The onion rings had a slightly thick batter on them. I really wanted to get potato skins. I think if I go back & I'm hungry that's what I will get & probably the chicken fingers too! LOL This place seemed to have regulars in there. It's cute inside with a little dining room area. I was excited to see real dart boards in there too. I LOVE playing real darts. Lesley had told me that they use to have a dart league that played there but not anymore. I used the first female bathroom on your way to them. It was clean but I got a little creeped out by the window that was cracked open & you could see the alley from inside. Someone doesn't listen or know how to read because there was a little sign on there that said "not to open the window" lol So of course I shut it, I didn't want anyone peeking in....LOL I definitely wouldn't mind stopping in here again when I'm in the area. Thanks for the great service Lesley!! I hope I remember your name correctly if I didn't please forgive me. :-)

Yelp
The Crown and Anchor pub delivers an authentic English experience with cozy ambiance, a wide selection of ales, and classic British dishes. The friendly staff ensure a welcoming atmosphere that keeps you coming back for more.

Monette T.

Yelp
Been searching for a good Fish and chips place. We ran across the Crown & Anchor, and even though it's quite a ways from where we live decided to give it a try today. The fish and chips pictured is $20.95. An additional piece of fish was $9.95. The food came out hot. It was tasty, the only drawback for me was the tartar sauce was on the sweet side, I prefer mine made with dill relish, rather than sweet relish. The fish was a good size, we shouldn't have ordered an additional piece, chips were hot and not over/under cooked. Ranch tasted homemade not the bottle stuff. The bartender/server was delightful and on top of her job! Will go back again, but just when we're in that area.

Yelp
karaoke does not happen the hours listed, the chalkboard says 11 and the kj leaves when she wants When her other senior friends are done singing and she's done putting them up first and they leave, she leaves. No dancing or the fun stuff i would not recommend coming for karaoke the staff is nice and there is good beer If you love karaoke it's much cheaper to drink at Ellis Island and you can dance and have fun mid week It was unsanitary last week with buckets to collect water .

Yelp
Food was pretty good. The place was super empty. Not sure if it's a place that gets as busy. Wanted to get an English breakfast and I got that. My girlfriend got the "banger on a bun" and it was pretty good as well. Would forsure go back. Very old school looking place.

Yelp
I love Crown and have been coming here for nearly 20 years. It is really nice to sit outside and do some work on my computer. Have some good beers and just chill out. The food is really good and the staff is BEYOND good. But they no longer have WiFi! I haven't been to a bar or restaurant that didn't have WiFi in the last 15 years. Like you're cutting costs on that? You're that cheap? Like it's 1982? You're not only screwing your customers but also your employees who depend on it since you probably don't pay them enough for a good data plan. Whoever owns this place should be ashamed. How cheap can you be? It's like $100 a month.

Yelp
Great spot to chill off the strip. The chefs are great and surprisingly personalized. Very thoughtfu, & respectful of each dish they serve. I Highly reccomend this spot. Great beer menu. Enjoy Responsibly.

Yelp
This is a quaint British pub. Bar tender sat us and gave us a menu. I ordered the French Dip beef made on premise and KAZ ordered Scott egg to start then Full Monte breakfast because she wanted the English Bangers. They have balcony seating as well as tables outside. Lots of polished wood and it's very well kept. Bathrooms are very clean but older, still fine though. It took a while for the food to come out. WOW the Scotch Egg was delicious! The main course not so much. The aus ju for the French Dip was very watery and tasteless. The steak fries were burnt. The bacon on the full monte breakfast wasn't English bacon - not really sure what it was. We have never seen food that particular shade of grey before. The bangor was real and so were the beans. My wife is English by the way. The gentleman next to us had the Fish and chips. Nope, he had a hard time cutting through the burnt outer coating. The fish and chips at the Cod Father are 10 times better. Overall not a do over for me. We ordered sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert . Once again the sticky Toffee Pudding is not authentic and has a strange aftertaste. Not good .

Yelp
Went at happy hour during the day, it's not the greatest neighborhood so don't go there at night. Service was alright not great just had a few beers at happy hour. If I never went back again it wouldn't be a tragedy. Add a star if you like staring at 1000 British banners of King Charles while your drinking.
google avatar

Erica T.

Yelp
The food was way better than a regular pub and the beer on tap is just as it should be because the temperature is super cold and perfect. When we went it was to escape the tourist crowd during special events near the strip. Very clean, a nice pretty bartender with a good sense of humor, and the bar gradually began to fill with locals. I loved the British decorations .
google avatar

William H.

Yelp
I have to say one of the best fish and chips I've had and I've had a lot. The fish was cooked perfectly, when you cut into it you heard the crunch every time. Plus the fish held with the light batter. The fries where really good and I had a snakebite for a beer which I've missed having. We sat outside on a nice sunny day and they are dog friendly where a couple other patrons had their pouches. I love dogs, even the owner came out to take a picture of one. I will go back for sure to try out some of the other British fare.
google avatar

AJ C.

Yelp
Really a great bar for a pub feel and to watch sports as there's ample tv's and a ton of beers on tap. The food is typical to an English pub, so of course the stand outs are the classics like Fish and Chips and Shepherds pie. But the gem here in my option are the chicken tenders. Light and crisp, served with buffalo and ranch they are some of the best tenders around. If you're a football (soccer) fan this is the best bar in town. We come here for every World Cup and since they're open 24 hours they're available for all crazy start times. All the servers and bartenders we've had are really friendly. It can get busy like most places during big games so get there early to get a good spot!
google avatar

Arthur L.

Yelp
I had a pleasant experience, service was quick, friendly, and engaging. We ordered apps instead of entrees and had some drinks. They have a bunch if cool drinks i hadn't seen before, my date had a few different ones, i just had neat bourbon. The foods were so creative too. It did take a little longer to come out for how busy it was, but it was the crux of the afternoon, so there could have been a shift change. I have nearly gone back here a few times since just going there last month the interior could use an update and just a bit more lighting, the moody nature of the current lights is good, but just a bit much.

Yelp
This is my favorite college bar in Vegas. It is conveniently close to UNLV (within walking distance), with tons of discounts and specials for folks with a student ID. I love stopping in after class for a Guinness and some traditional British pub food. My favorite dishes are the shepherd's pie, the chicken curry and of course their famous fish and chips. The food is great, just good old fashion pub grub at a fantastic price and in an authentic setting. The crowd is a mix of college kids and regulars from the neighborhood. The vibe can be chill at one point and a full-on party at the next. If you stop in during the afternoon or early evening the vibe is low-key. However, this spot gets busy during holidays and Golden Knights games. When I stopped by last night (Wednesday) at 7pm I realized it was karaoke night! Everyone was up, enjoying their turn in the spotlight. To my surprise and amusement, there are some pretty talented people working at this place and visiting it. There are a ton of seating options. The building has three areas, a patio, a bar area and a restaurant space. I've seen people bring their dogs and post up on the patio out front. I prefer snagging a seat right at the bar. There are spots at the bar with gaming machines and those without... if I'm feeling lucky, you will see me at one of the seats with a machine trying to find that royal flush (fingers crossed). There is a wood booth area with low-tops as well as an area with hightop seating by the dart boards. At the end of the day wherever you sit in this place, you will feel transported to merry ol'england. Cheers! see you there and God save the ... king ;) 10/10 huzzahs!!!

Yelp
1:30am. "I know this place. It's a $hithole but..." begins my friend. $hithole? This place is better than any pub in my home State! 30 British or British style beers on tap. Solid list of libations. Great pub grub. Solid pub ambiance. Gaming machines with good pay tables. Good enough that despite costing roughly $50 per beer (stupid seven spot keno that never hit more than five) I didn't care. First, if there's sausage involved, get it. The sausage roll and scotch egg both good eats thanks to the very flavorful and juicy sausage. The mustard sauce with the scotch egg works on both. The cornish pastie with its minced beef, potato and veg equally flavorful despite sitting for a while and having the crust go a bit soggy. A beer mop is a beer mop right? Note: this Tropicana location does not serve anything but beer late night. Local crowd looking to unwind in a spot where solitary silence hoping to hit the royal suddenly turns into yelling across the bar to the barman "Game of Thrones sucked" to a "go F*** yourself" followed by all of us shooting the $hit about the last season of "The Boys". As far from a Strip experience that you can have. F'n good time. 4:30am.

Yelp
Lived in England for a bit and this kinda reminds me of that. The dining area, especially. Like a Wetherspoons feel but you don't go and get your own stuff or order through an app. I'd say it's a British decor but in an american way. Haha The scotch egg is divine and the sausage roll, though it might look different, still tastes the same. The fish and chips are on point and the sticky toffee pudding is a must. Wait and bar staff are friendly and efficient.
google avatar

Zach W.

Yelp
The hot apple crumble took awhile to come out but it was worth the wait! I would recommend this dish to anyone any time of day! The staff was very friendly as well.

Dexter S.

Yelp
Really good food for a non complicated menu. Friendly service and less casino-ish feel.

Yelp
We went once a couple of months ago and wanted to come back to try again last night--and it was more of the same, slow customer service all around--no one waiting to seat us, long wait for drinks to come, long wait for food to come out. I think maybe they are short staffed. The food is relatively good, chicken fingers and onion rings nice, burger decent, fish and chips a little cold. The sticky toffee pudding was burned and dry and a disgrace for anyone who knows what that dessert should be like. I did like the beer selection and the ambiance. But it seems a bit pricey and the wait times need some work.

Rune M.

Yelp
Fish and chips are to die for. Love going to this place when I'm in Vegas and the service is top tier

Yelp
Can't say enough about this place. A little gem ! Great food, great people and atmosphere.is perfect. Sunday dinner is always our favorite experience. My thanks goes this little home from home along with my 20 work colleagues who all agree with me.Give this place a try. The prices are pretty amazing for Vegas as well

Yelp
First visit back after 20 years and my fish and chips taste exactly the same! Flaky, white, hunk of cod with peas and steak fries...all golden brown and delicious. The clam chowder was also surprisingly good. Everything inside still looks the same and this whole visit was so nostalgic. I'm so happy this place has survived after all these years. My friend did order the cottage pie and that was the only thing disappointing. Skip this item.

Yelp
I like chicken fingers, onion rings, and fries. I love to have myself some bar food every couple of weeks, with a beer, on Friday! Who doesn't right? I've always passed by Crown & Anchor living by the area, and I heard about their fish and chips... I never stopped by until today. I went to get my onion rings craving. I was in the mood for them all week, but I didn't want to drive by a fast food place and get them since they can be very dry, and without flavor. I was a little hesitant to stop by this place, not going to lie. Crown & Anchor's entrance is dark, dim, full of pictures, signs, awards, and d wood. The building has aged from being in our town, and you walk into this huge place. You wait to be seated, you sit as far away as the bar if you don't smoke to not inhale anything, and you get lost in their artwork. The place resembles a huge ship to me, I was lost in their decor, in the people there, amazed at our server Jessica and one bartender running the entire restaurant, we didn't think we'd get fast service, but we did! Onion rings, chips, and we ordered some chicken fingers too. The food was out pretty quick. It was hot, it was good, and it was also homemade! The chicken fingers were made with tender chicken breasts, the onion rings with fresh breading, and the fries were amazing alone. I loved how thick the sizes of the fries were, and our basket was packed. The price for the food wasn't too crazy, we got some beers to go along with our choices, and we were also very pleased with the service and flavor or Crown & Anchor. The smell of cigarettes didn't really bother us, the homey feel or the decor didn't bother us either, we were having a good time in between waiting for our drinks and food seeing all their decorations. We didn't try any other dishes since we weren't too hungry, but we did decide we'll be back to try their bangers and mash, and fried cod!

Cyndi D.

Yelp
We've been coming for about 20 years and used to love it. The last 2 times - particularly today- was absolutely terrible. The place smells. Our food was horrible. The 2 orders of fish (fish and chips) was ok but mostly batter. Fries were cold. Burger with Stilton cheese - lukewarm. But worst of all my grilled cheese and soup - it was literally on two slices of wheat bread like you'd serve a toddler and the cheese wasn't melted. All this cost $96 before tip. Sad to say it's our last time going there.

Yelp
Been eating here a long time. This afternoon it was the Bangers and mash and the Sunday special, the roast beef/lamb w/ peas & carrots, potatoes and the large bread that I always forget what it is actually called. But it is tasty

Yelp
Stopped for a few drinks at Crown & Anchor British Pub on Thursday night. Simply a fun dive bar with solid drinks and a good crowd. Quality: An otherwise standard pub, made better by the bartenders and outrageous guests. Open 24 hours, this feels like a place anytime you show up will be a good time. Add in a large assortment of beers and some delicious sounding food options, and you have me sold. Quantity: Solid beer pours and strong drinks. Value: $7-$9 for the Draught Beer we were drinking, but I'm sure there were some cheaper specials. Ambiance: Crown & Anchor British Pub is a dive spot in the Chinatown area of Las Vegas. It is a dark and smoke-filled pub, with a jukebox filled with hits and some electronic gambling machines to occupy time. They also appeared to have an outdoor area, right off the main road. Crowd: Mostly regulars who were a cast of characters. Service: Funny staff and quick drinks. Strange rules about ordering alcohol at the bar. Parking: Plenty of parking.

Yelp
Decided to try this establishment after we saw it when eating at a near by restaurant. It is a typical bar with locals, and was not very large inside. At first, we didn't get waited on, but after asking for menus, the server was more attentive. I ordered a fish sandwich, but was brought out fish and chips. I was offered to be brought out a bun and only charged for the sandwich which was cheaper.

Yelp
I've been back about 4 times now and it did not disappoint any time! The chicken fingers and potato skins keep being amazing and the mood is always chill. I will keep coming back!

Yelp
This was the 2nd time I've had dinner and will not be the last. Dined in with a party of 4 and the food was delicious, as my friend mentioned is always. I LEFT MY WALLET LAST NIGHT. It had a little over $100 cash, credit cards, ID, pretty much everything no one wants to lose in it. I called this morning and Jessica was kind enough to let me know their dishwasher found it and turned my bag with wallet in to the office. I did not get the dishwasher's name, but if I was the owner I would do everything in my power to keep him working for my business as long as possible. He did a very kind thing and I associate that with this restaurant. Can't thank him and the crew at Crown & Anchor enough. If you're in a rush to eat go somewhere else. This is a sit down, relax, and enjoy good food and conversation sort of a place with employees that care about people.

Yelp
I returned for a second time and had the Sunday dinner. The potatoes were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The gravy was well seasoned and the lamb and beef were cooked well. The Yorkshire pudding wasn't as good as the first one that I had there but wouldn't make me hesitate to return. I also ordered the crisps to nibble on with my beer and they were super thinly sliced to the point where they could potentially melt in your mouth. I generally prefer a potato chip with a little more substance but they were well seasoned.

Yelp
We went for the South Africa vs England rugby semi final. Fantastic atmosphere and really amiable fellow game viewers.

Yelp
Sadly, this was my last visit to the E. Tropicana location. Stilton and cabbage soup is off the menu. Deal breaker. Fish and chips are still excellent. On a Monday at 1pm (11/6) the place was standing room only with one waitress and no dishwasher. REDICULOUS. To her credit everyone got their food in a timely manner. Amazing. Any way, won't be returning because of the soup.

Yelp
Got the fish and chips and it was unseasoned nasty as hell. It honestly tasted like fried egg whites, It was completely unseasoned, it looked like it was only fried. I got the jubilee drink it was messy and not made well. I complained about the fish was not compensated, a waitress offered to comp me a free shot but " there was another miscommunication " and charged my friend for it. The place is old and doesn't look as clean as it did online, is way overpriced for what it is. I had to leave my number for the manager since they weren't in. This wasn't resolved I hope to hear back from them since all they said I could to was leave my number! Update: The fish and chips gave me food poisoning!

Yelp
Fish and Chip night, we had not been for months, but tonight the cook was outstanding. I was hungry, or better described as starved for good Fish and Chips. The temperature for the cooked fish was perfect , even the chip portion was served hot unlike 6 months ago. Enjoyed the Lovejoy Juice IPA that was not available @ Juan's Flaming Fajitas & Cantina in Henderson 2 weeks ago, even the guest tap was a good Pale lager tonight. Thank you for a good evening, even my lady comment in favorable terms, as she enjoyed the evening...

Yelp
This is a locals neighborhood place that has great authentic British food. Even our Irish party agreed! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the portions were huge! The locals were friendly and fun!

Yelp
What a great place! My co-workers from out of town were looking for a place to just chill (away from the Strip, where they were staying), and play some darts. I had been to the C&A in the past so I suggested it and met them there. Itwas a great call; we all ate dinner (fish and chips, pastys, and chicken strips), drank from their extensive beer listing , listened to karaoke, and of course threw some darts. Our waitress Nikki, was incredible. She was knowledgeable about the food (made some well received recommendations), and the bar offerings. She made sure we were well taken care of, even though she was covering the whole floor, and was kind enough to get us information on the dart boards. We had a wonderful meal, and a wonderful time!! It is, how shall I say this,,,. a bit rustic but that just adds to the ambience and if you have ever been to a village pub in the UK this one would fit right in. We will be back on all future trips, and I will be back any chance I have!!!

Yelp
I really had a craving for some Fish and Chips, they must have changed "something" because I was throughly disappointed! Greasy, hard and not at all tasty. Hopefully I have a different experience next time...if there is one

Yelp
Decent bar but more college focused. But.... ok. I wanted more whiskey.... it's ok. Overall a decent place.
