I can't speak highly enough about this restaurant. It's a very small place with no dine in, but that's the only down side. I've had the chopped cheese, the loaded chips, the wings, the gyro and the Italian cheeseburger. Everything is absolutely delicious. Great portions, reasonable prices, and the gentlemen running the restaurant are very amiable. Everything is made to order, so there is a wait time, but it's definitely worth it. I wouldn't think twice to recommend this restaurant to everyone I know

Dude, this place is so underrated. never really ate this type of food but now I’m hooked .Food is super fresh Staff is super friendly. They did a great job. Explained to me in depth about the food, how it’s made. The chicken gyro plates with the rice are out of this world Honestly, best place in town.

The best gyro and chicken platters! Get it the Philly way, won’t disappoint. You won’t find halal platters anywhere in the AV, so come check them out. Customer service is always welcoming and the team has great energy. Thank you crown chicken and grill!

I'm eventually going to get through this entire menu. Chicken = Excellent Gyro = Even more Excellent Lemonade + Hawaiian Punch = refreshing & tasty Next up on my list is the Philly Cheese Steak! The customer service is excellent as well. They'll even give you samples if they have them on hand. Javier & his crew go out of their way to make you feel welcome. This has been my weekly spot since I've discovered them. Highly recommend!!!¡

Holy crap this food is so bomb!!! 10/10 best I’ve had in a long time! Plus the service was amazing. The gentleman up front was so nice and accommodating to me! He was helpful and suggested so many good things. Will be recommending this place to everyone!!

This was my first time trying Crown chicken. I saw they have 4.9 stars on Google which is almost perfect, so I had to try this spot. I got the six piece jumbo shrimp and fries with a three-piece wings. As soon as they started frying my food, I know I made the right choice. The smell of fresh fried chicken bean fried was amazing. The chicken was packed with flavor. The chicken was also fried perfectly. It wasn’t too greasy and it had a really great crunch to it. if the chicken wings were good, I can only imagine how the actual fried chicken is, I will be coming back to find out. the shrimp was really good too and also the same thing it was perfectly fried not too greasy with the perfect crunch to it.

This restaurant is always a pleasure to visit! The food is consistently delicious, and the staff goes above and beyond to take care of us every time. Excellent customer service and a welcoming atmosphere—highly recommend!

Yummy!!! I must say I am very impressed on how good and delicious this place was. I haven't had a Chicken Gyro plate since I moved away from the SFV and let me tell you this hit the spot. I got the chicken and rice plate and ordered a 2 pc combo with Mac and cheese. The fried chicken is so juicy so flavorful and so fresh. The crisp on this was spot on and all the spices and seasonings on this chicken were spot on. The chicken and rice plate with the sauces on the side was so spot on. Super flavorful packed with flavor and super filling. The Mac and cheese it was so delicious. I would had preferred a bit more cheese but the taste was there. customer service is top notch here always with a smile and felt welcomed. Definitely can't wait to come back to try the rest of the menu.

Overhyped and underwhelming. I don't know if I got a bad batch or the chicken/fried food was the last day before they replaced the oil, but this chicken tasted horrible for a place that is considered the "best fried chicken in the AV area." If it is... god bless. To start, there's no seating -- which is fine, incredibly inconvenient, but acceptable... if it didn't take an hour to get our food. Yup. An hour. We were told food would be done in 30 minutes, so we went around the area, chilled in the car, and what'd you know it, 30 minutes passed, the person said to wait another "12 minutes." ... yup. You guessed it. 12 minutes passed, and another 5 minutes were told. So we waited. And after 10 minutes, the food was finally done. It's one thing to say there's a wait for the food, but to continually undercut the estimated time is absurd. With that, the chicken is advertised to be "freshly fried," which it is, but I think that's an excuse or coverup to the amount of delays and time it takes to cook it. It's not like this place is dead, there were at least 5 people waiting inside or in their cars, so it doesn't make sense to just load up and keep some warm. This, again, would be SLIGHTLY tolerable if there was seating, but nope. Just chilling in the car. As for the fried chicken itself... I seriously hope I got a bad batch because of how big of a disappointment it was. It was crispy and juicy yes, but the flavor was ... off. Tasted like some very bad oil, and it was incredibly salty. Like saltier than KFC salty. If I were to compare this to fried chicken joints Jollibee's/Popeyes = 5/5 KFC/Church's = 4/5 Supermarket fried chicken = 3/5 This place is a 2.5/5. I wouldn't come again, but if I were, it seems I'll need to call an hour ahead of time. Which is unfortunate, because the server/cashier was incredibly nice as well, even gave a tip, so I wanted it to be good.

The food here is so delicious! We got there about 10:30 in the morning and it was about a 30 minute wait for our food since they make everything fresh, but we just ran to shop in the store nearby to kill time. It was worth the wait, just be prepared. The staff who helped us was so friendly and helpful. We live clear on the other side of town, but we'll make it a point to come back.

Tasty food made fresh on the spot. Make sure you call ahead so when you arrive the foods ready. Fried chicken is fresh. Chicken and gyro platter is bomb, good rice. Chopped cheese is real tasty. Place is quaint, probably waiting outside in your car for food.

Let me just say that this is the first time that I have ordered from the establishment and was a little bit hesitant. But I can tell you that it not only surpassed expectations! The food is exceptional. Even ordering through DoorDash and having the food delivered. The food is delicious and full of flavor. I will definitely be revisiting. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

OMG, everything was clucking delicious. We ordered a 16-piece, onion rings, fries, coke slaw and a slice of cheese cake. Order ahead because they cook the chicken to order. We had 5 minute drive home and the chicken was still almost too hot to eat. Now that is fresh !!!! And talk about nice folks. The kindest people both at the counter and back in the kitchen. Forget any other Fried Chicken place. This is the real deal like I haven't had in years.

I stumbled across this place while searching for restaurants in the AV. Decided to give it a shot due to the high ratings and honestly, they are well deserved! The chicken over rice plate was sooo good! Reminded me a lot of the Halal Carts in NYC. Definitely got my fix! While that was the reason why I went, their fried chicken and potato wedges are some of the best I've ever had! Like no joke, don't sleep on them. I ended up ordering their wing combo and upgraded to potato wedges. Also, they have several drinks to choose from. They have a half lemonade half tea that's sooo good! They also have one with lemonade and orange soda, and a lemonade and fruit punch. I will definitely be using them for our corporate luncheons and personal events. Lastly, the customer service is a 10/10! The area/location may be a little questionable but trust me, I'm willing to risk it for good food. Lol

Da bomb! Chicken seasoned ...service cool...lemonade Superman one is delicious . That prepare the food in a decent amount of time and it is worth every penny! When you are hungry go here don't go to Popeyes or Louisiana this place is mmmmmmamazing !

Customer service was great. Fried chicken was excellent. Perfectly cooked. Crispy on the outside, moist on the inside and seasoned perfectly. The potato salad gets a hard pass. Literally just like store bought potato salad. Was disappointed. The Mac n cheese. Meh. Was good. But I've had better. I guess my expectations were extraordinarily high as I read the reviews before I showed up. I'd go for the chicken. I've gotta try the other sides because I was not impressed. But the chicken WAS on point.

So yelp asks me what is amazing about this place and what went well? The fact that matter is every single thing that I have tasted thus far is simply amazing! And the young men behind the counter are so sweet. The one gentleman who seems to live there because I've never not seen him has the best smile and he's just so super sweet and charismatic. The chicken is BOMB. But to my surprise, it's the New York chopped cheese sandwich that I've absolutely fallen in love with. I have tried other things on the menu as well as people I've taken and not a single complaint ever. Do yourself a favor and try this place. But you will wait for your food, but it comes out piping hot because every single item is fresh made to order.

So I wanna say his name is Javier at the front counter; very helpful since this was my first time. He didnt rush me as I was deciding on my meal. I went with the 2 piece dark meat and his recommendation For the drink was called a Superman. OMG the best decision he made! lol My son got the shrimp basket and the Superman drink. The chicken was how fried chicken is supposed to be very moist ,very flavourful and and very crunchy. The French fries had a certain seasoning on which was amazing. Everything was hot and fresh . And the Superman drink is undescribable lol I will definitely come back!!

The food here was very bland. I had a beef Jamaican patties. Plural for two patties. But I only got one. In the picture is displays two. That was major disappointment. Also tasted like yesterday's patties. Very stale. Also I got a shrimp only 6 basket. If you notice in the picture it has fries. however when I ordered it, no fries came with it. Another disappointment. I guess I can't read. The Mac and cheese is whatever. You can tell it's powered cheese. The chop cheese was way too cheesy and soaked through the paper that it was wrapped in. Greasy AF food.

The ambience in this establishment was for the most part decent. The food is OK and really just OK. I wouldn't go back. I ordered a chicken Gyro, which was just soggy the chicken had way too much tomato and it was just horrible. I didn't even eat it, my son ordered, a Philly cheesesteak which was fairly decent just keep in mind. It is right next-door to a liquor store and there's a lot of traffic especially at night.

Thei chicken is amazing. I ordered chicken over rice. It comes with 2 different sauces which makes their chicken stand apart from everyone else. Ivan, has excellent customer service skills at the check out or over the phone.

Small shops are the best shops. I'd heard of them from a FB group, and had been meaning to try them for months. I called ahead during my drive up from Los Angeles. Ordered a NY Chopped Cheese and a Chicken & Gyro over Rice. When I got there, they were just finishing up the order, so it was nice and fresh. While I was there, I saw that they also had a few other sides and dessert. So, as being prone to impulse buys, I added their Jamaican Beef Patty, an order of Banana Pudding, and an order of Mac & Cheese for my son. All in all, it was just shy of $55 after tip. The Beef Patty was absolutely delicious. A small snack, with great seasoning and texture. The pastry shell was flakey, and the meat inside was warm and tender. The NY Chopped Cheese is edible art. I can't begin to describe the texture and flavor, but do not sleep on this. I downed half of it over the course of 5 minutes, and begrudgingly stopped myself so my wife could have the other half.

Delicious homemade freshly cooked loved it! Friendly staff and service. Family friendly.

After reading the wonderful reviews...I was in the area and finally gave it a try. What I ordered Chicken halal plate Three piece chicken meal Beef patty The customer service was friendly and inviting. My questions were answered and recommendations suggested. Overall I wished I had ordered more chicken. The pieces were crispy and seasoned well. I will be repeat customer.

Absolutely delicious food and great, friendly service! Stopped in for lunch with my hubby and were greeted with enthusiasm right when we stepped through the door. Walked us through their authentic east coast menu and ordered the NYC chopped cheese + chicken/gyro rice bowl. Everything was made fresh and hot on the spot, and you could taste the unique blend of flavors and quality ingredients. Fries were cooked perfect and had a nice seasoning. The Superman (fruit punch + lemonade) is perfect for a hot day, and very sweet to balance out the savory food! Also got a complimentary iced tea + lemonade, which was delicious as well. Can't wait to stop by again soon!

Walked into this small establishment, and the first thing I noticed was how clean it was. I was Instantly greeted by the young man behind the counter. He began explaining the menu and the authenticity of it's east coast origin. Great customer service. Having east coast ties, I felt like a piece of home was right here in Lancaster. All the food looked and smelled amazing. Nothing sitting out, so everything was prepared fresh. They didn't miss on a single item. Halal meats for those who know and care. Every bite was delicious. As you can see from the pictures, we tried a lil bit of everything. I will definitely spread the word and return as a regular. It is truly a hidden gem, and I wish these Brothas nothing but success.

Soooo. This review is good and bad. Got there and they say they make their food when ordered . Bet. but when I get my shrimp looked like they just took shrimp out of a Walmart bag and put salt on it. And not only that I want to know what's with half of a half of lemon. U couldn't even give me a full lemon lol. Now asked for the hot sauce on the side but what's with giving me so little? it was like here is just a drop now make it stretch. The food itself also was not enough I believe for the price. And I believe I got food poisoning. The food tasted good though lol. If u can excuse the horrible pricing and the little amount of food. And oh yea getting sick.

Chicken was great but they e really need to work on the sides or have them fresh. The mashed potatoes were awful and the coleslaw was even worse, we didn't even eat it. Mac n cheese was good. Maybe an off day for them on the sides. Chicken was a 5 out of 5 for sure and that why I gave them the 3 stars.

What can you say about a place with great food and EXCELLENT customer service? That it exceeded my expectations? Yes it did! Wow! The food is really tasty and the staff are super friendly! I will be back!

Honestly love this place. The food has always been a 10, and today we tried their speciality drinks and I definitely say we enjoyed those as well. Wish we had gotten large. The service is great, it always gives the vibe of eating at your uncles or aunts. So friendly and time efficient!

Delicious. I went back a second time. The plate with chicken salad and rice is delicious. Thought it appears you can share it, you won't want to. I ordered it for pick up and it was ready. The 2 friendly gentlemen who work there are very attentive. You are their focus when you walk in. Despite ordering online, they did invite me to give them a phone call to let them know precisely what time I would be there so they could have the food hot and ready. My husband can't wait to go back

It's one of my new favorites in Lancaster. The fish was lightly breaded and tender. The chicken was on point. Rice was cooked just right, and I enjoyed the refreshing salad. My order was delivered with a few sauces. My favorite was the spicy chili. Definitely returning!

Philly cheesesteak is the BOMB here! Best I've had since i lived in Chicago. The owner / chef is from Philadelphia and a really nice guy. Can't wait to come back to try their Gyro!

Chicken is definitely some of the best I've had. The cook was on point & friendly front staff. I don't usually leave reviews but I had to make an exception for this place.

We were in the area visiting and decided to try something new, and I'm really glad we did! Natalie was the food, delicious, but the service was above par! Javier was a really nice guy, passionate about his food, and carried a great conversation while we were waiting for our food to get ready. If you're in the area I definitely recommend this place.

Found this gem while in Lancaster and wasn't disappointed. I had the grilled chicken gyro and it was delicious. The best part was the service, they were so friendly it really made for a great experience. It's just for takeout but the staff were awesome.
