My first time ever coming here. It is literally across the street from Chase field, so no brainer to have a little pregame meal and drinks! There's a paid parking lot that you park, go eat then walk to the game! I loved that! Crown Public House food not disappoint and was worth the 15 minutes we waited! They have outdoor seating with misters and indoors isn't huge but they are able to pack people in! The service was soo polite and attentive! The food tasted great!!! I honestly have nothing negative to say about this place! Go check it out!!!

Google
Great bar - drinks, atmosphere and vibe. Wings are my favorite on the menu. I was t impressed with the burgers but they were fine. Location is Next to the ballpark park which is super convenient.

Google
Good service. We were sat right away an hour before a dbacks game. It was super busy but the service didn’t lack. The food was delicious.

Google
Rolled in at about 5 on a saturday afternoon, reasonably busy but not bad at all, plenty of open seats. Was able to order our drinks and food pretty quickly, after more than half an hour we just ended up having to leave because they hadn't even started cooking our food yet, with no real explanation as to why, while multiple groups of people that arrived 20 minutes after us all got there food. At least my beer was only 4 bucks, and some of the music was good, but unfortunately that's all I can really say. I can't even review the food because we never got it. Obviously the location is great if you're going to a game or concert in DTPHX like we were, but no guarantee you'll be able to eat if you're hungry.

Google
Wonderful atmosphere, outstanding beer 🍺, and the people working were a lot of fun. The Toasty Amber Ale was excellent!!

Todd McDonald

Google
Very nice staff but the food was unremarkable. We ordered wings, Fried Spicy Pickles and some sliders. The sliders were 90% bun, very little meat. The spicy pickles were missing the spicy. I was not expecting much eat but I was expecting some heat. The wings were not bad.... just not great. On the positive side, the wait-staff was very nice and it was a nice set-up for sports fans with plenty of large TV's.

Jonathan Lyons

Google
Went before a concert and they work diligently to seat us. Dave the manager was great. Even with how busy they were they were very attentive, our glasses were never dry.

Randy Whitaker

Google
Had a quick bite while stuck downtown in court....sliders were great and beers were ice cold. Great location to stop in before a game.

Yelp
Looking for a place to go before a Diamondbacks game I found this one on Yelp! And it looked like it would fit our needs. I arrived first and it looked as though they were just opening or maybe just got done cleaning after the lunch rush. The place was clean and staff was readily available. The outdoor bar was nice and just the bartender was there so I was able to quickly get my beer and a food menu. Ordering was very easy. I started a tab and when my gf arrived we placed our order. She had the Truffle fries and I had the meat lovers pizza. Both dishes were made to perfection and the staff was always friendly and helpful!

Yelp
I had some time to kill and the NFL playoffs were going on so I was looking for a sports bar in the area. I came across Crown Public House on Yelp and made my way over. Located downtown, super close to where the Suns and Diamondback play, I found street parking close by. Phoenix charges for street parking on weekends too (which is annoying) so this is a factor when checking out this bar. I sat at the bar. Ambiance (3/5): Your typical sports bar. Good number of TVs. Chill. Not fancy or terribly impressive but when you're at a sports bar, what you care about most is being able to watch the game (and hear the sound) which they do here. Service (4/5): I sat at the bar and the bartender greeted me promptly when i sat down and took my order soon after. When I was ready to cash out, it took a little time to get a bartender's attention (there were several working), but other than that, solid. Drinks (4/5): They have a full bar with cocktails, liquor, beer, and wine. When I'm at a sports bar, I typically go with beer. Which is what I did this time too. I ordered a local Arizona beer. Food (3/5): I wasn't looking for a full meal so I focused on the appetizers. I had a couple of choices in mind and asked the bartender for her favorite. She recommended the cheese curds. I'm a big fan of cheese on anything so I rolled with it. What I liked about this app is that it's a generous portion. Basically a full meal in my mind. On the flip side, the cheese curds were incredibly greasy. I get that this is a fried appetizer but they were oozing with oil. At the very least, pat them down with a paper towel before serving them. If you're looking to watch sports downtown, Crown Public House is a good option. They have weekly specials so you can also get a good deal on food and drinks depending on the day of the week.

Yelp
We stopped by after watching the LAD vs DBacks game across the street. We were promptly seated near the tv with loud music playing in the background, and offered water. Our waiter, Slade was friendly, helpful and so attentive. He suggested drink options, made recommendations on liquor, and continuously checked on us. I had a well balanced margarita, the hubby cold beer and we split chicken wings. The wings were freshly made, juicy and crispy without being overly fried. The Crown Public House was a great find and the service top notch. Would most definitely return.

Yelp
Friendly bar / restaurant across the street from Chase Field. I had a smash burger for lunch. The burger came with American cheese and lettuce, tomato, & onion on the side with a pickle. Also, there was a choice of sides (Fries, potato salad, or slaw). Overall very tasty. Their fish & chips is supposedly the specialty and the coworker I was with said they were "pretty good". The place is a little rustic, but has 14 TVs with sports on.

Yelp
We stopped here before going to a Suns game. The D-backs were also playing so Jefferson St was buzzing. We were there for drinks before the game and this spot was perfect. We took a look at inside bar and it was nice but saw an open table on the front patio and grabbed that. The walk up bar outside was swift and polite. The front patio is a good people watching spot as well on any game day. I will be sure and keep this spot on my list for downtown beers!

Yelp
First time here, very close to the Diamondbacks stadium. The place is big, spacious and lots of TV's and a juke box. Enough space to keep our luggage next to our table. Waitress was awesome! Food and drinks came out really fast. The shrimp and fries were tasty and drinks were good and very reasonable prices! Nice out door seating as well, nice and cool inside.

Yelp
Before our visit this past Friday I always thought the service was good and I think the food is good, I can't figure out why owners allow the staff to sabotage their business with bad attitudes and eating chipotle at the bar during their shifts. The bartender this particular night was friendly and totally on her game but she's got a server in the dinging room snacking on chips at the bar it's just looks bad. I could hear John Taffer yelling as I watched the blatant ignorance as she's chomping loud on chips while the kitchens serving up yummy food! It's worth a stop bc the sliders and chicken fingers (tempura battered) are sooo yummmmy.
google avatar

Jennel N.

Yelp
Absolutely the best bar in downtown. You feel at home, the service is inviting. Quick service, they cook all their food in-house. Great drinks, great trivia on Wednesdays. Come here to have a great time! Ask for Brandon as your bartender!
google avatar

Chan S.

Yelp
Great spot to grab food and drinks before the D backs game! Great IPAs, Bloody Mary's, fried pickles, n chicken fingers. Good service.

Yelp
I am so glad Crown Public House is the official meetup place for LFC! The service, the food, the atmosphere, everything is spot on for a weekend game! Spoiler alert: we won! I could have stayed home to watch it, but what could have been better than enjoying some fish and chips, a beer, and chanting with likeminded people in the same space? If you are a LFC fan, this is the best place to be!

Yelp
What a surprise we walked in tonight trying to catch the game downtown next to footprint and crown public did not disappoint any time you can find a steak and crab leg special with a couple shrimps a la Barbie it's going down! Steak was cooked to a perfect medium! Crab legs fresh as you get in az. Vibe was rocking for a Thursday game love to see it (Downtown secret menu unlocked...parm truffle fries topped with chili )

Yelp
We always come to the crown public house before the Diamondbacks game. Everybody's friendly including management. The food is good. We usually get a couple appetizers to share with friends. I've had friends that really liked the Ruben and the chili. Nothing's ever disappointed us. The music is always just right.

Yelp
Wife and I stopped in here for lunch. The downtown area is not busy but regardless of the fact, this place provided excellent service and high quality food. The portions were generous and the food tasted amazing. Staff had friendly smiles and were very efficient. We ordered sliders, wings and the artichoke dip If we are ever back in Phoenix, we make another stop. Took one star off because the establishment was a little old and worn.
google avatar

Keri W.

Yelp
Just got in from San Diego and we were starving. We were staying downtown and this was somewhat close to the hotel. It is a typical bar. Honestly it looked a bit old and worn but our bartendar was super sweet and attentive. Granted, it was pretty dead so not sure how the service is if it gets busy. We ordered wings, sliders and artichoke dip. The dip kind of tasted store bought but it wasn't bad. The wings were super crispy and good. The sliders were on point too. Our tummies were satisfied.

Yelp
Went to Crown Public House today and will definitely will be going back. It was servicing patrons for the Diamondbacks game and the Mercury game so it was packed. I loved the fact that it was a mixed crowd. Kudos to our server Chelsey was amazing. She was very attentive even though it was extremely busy. I ordered the chicken tenders and these were probably some of the best tenders I have had. As I said before I will definitely be returning.
google avatar

Yelp
Went for drinks and small bites before a concert. Really only chose the place due to location. What a pleasant surprise. Food was extremely good and drinks were decent. Even got happy hour prices! Servers were busy but friendly and attentive. Will definitely visit this place again.

Yelp
We primarily stopped in due to proximity to Chase Field before the Diamondbacks game. Food was good and so was service. The music was very loud. There were also several Chicago songs played - seeming to cater to Chicago Cubs fans - which was the team in town for a series against the Diamondbacks. Even if this restaurant has Chicago roots (which I have no idea if that's the case), not a good look to be cheering against the hometown team.
google avatar

Yelp
Service was excellent. Meatballs were delicious. Chicken strips and fish were freshly breaded. Actual fish could've been salted more. Jalapeño coke slaw was much better than potato salad.
google avatar

Scott T.

Yelp
Love this place. Alyssa is awesome : ) Great place to watch a baseball game. Right across the street from the Diamondbacks stadium. Good food extensive menu. Awesome employees.
google avatar

Yelp
Been going to this place for years awesome staff great food definitely a vibe when there's a game.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is the spot to watch all soccer (football) matches. They have great food as well. I've had the fish and chips, green chili pork, and the Reuben Also they have a great selection of bourbon!
google avatar

April A.

Yelp
This place gets crowded fast on event days. Didn't stop us from enjoying our experience. I had the poutine and wow did they give me my money's worth! Had it not been an event night, I would have taken home the rest of my food. I will do that next time.
google avatar

Marie R.

Yelp
Good food, good atmosphere, fun for watching sports. Friendly staff. Clean bathrooms.

Tannaz M.

Yelp
BEST BURGER IN TOWN! Nice and attentive staff Happy vibe Clean and fast service Close to stadiums

Yelp
Great place if ya need a bite to eat or a drink before or after a Dbacks game, or anytime you're downtown in Phoenix for that matter. Lyssa is the absolute BEST!
google avatar

Amber S.

Yelp
Just what we were looking for--great spot to watch the game and grab some lunch!! Nice and close too the sporting venues as well.
google avatar

Tiffany D.

Yelp
This spot is perfect for before or after festivities at Chase Field! Literally right across the street. We went after a DBacks game and had no problem getting a table right away. Both items were delicious, great crunch on the cheese curds.

Jada S.

Yelp
Good and drinks we amazing. Had my first gin fizz here and boy was it delicious the servu

Yelp
This place is awesome! There is usually a wait but I have never sat more then 20 min. The food is great and so is the atmosphere. My husband ordered two rounds of wings. My daughter loved her chicken strips with fries. The spinach and artichoke dip was great! It only comes with bread to dip so we ordered tortilla chips. And I had the fried fish with truffle fries. Bomb!
google avatar

Sandra F.

Yelp
Absolute best wings downtown Phx! My "go to." Music is great, sports great. Been going for years! My only complaint is the blue cheese - second time - watered down! Come on, guys! Your wings are great, need some good blue cheese!
google avatar

Chris C.

Yelp
The service was amazing and the ambiance, especially the music, was great. You always know that a burger is going to be good when they ask you how you want your burger cooked. Definitely would be a great stop before a baseball game... especially before the Dodgers beat the Diamondbacks.

Robert S.

Yelp
Fish and chips were OK. The fish fell apart and did not hold together very well with the breading. The coleslaw that came with it was excellent.
google avatar

Sebastian P.

Yelp
We went during a very busy time, service was okay at best but really because they were understaffed apparently. Can't blame the server or kitchen for slow service. While sprite fountain soda wasn't working they were able to provide cans of it which was nice. We had a big group, five adults and five kids. Mixed review on the food, but again could be due to short staff. They were out of a few things as well. They tried their best and it was okay. There was people smoking out in their patio which stinks, literally, but ambiance inside was nice. I would try again maybe and if so can update!
google avatar

Yelp
Was excited that this place had their kitchen open till 10pm on a Friday only to be disappointed with everything. I said the word ranch maybe 5-7 times throughout conversation over the phone while ordering and while picking this up. I even tipped for my pickup order. What's in the box? No ranch in site and hot sauce spilled all over the meal. Well here's what I found eating my leftovers for lunch today, who knows what this is. Really wanted to like this place because I can walk here. Won't be back :(
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
Another football match, another great time at Crown Public House. This time it was a later match which allowed us to get drinks and lunch. Prices were reasonable and the food was excellent. The Ruben was probably the best I have ever had. Packed with meat and super fresh bread. The fries were crispy and delicious as well. This is turning out to be a regular spot for me and my football watching buddies.
google avatar

Franklin M.

Yelp
I was about to enter the stadium to watch the Rockies play against the D-Backs but before going in I wanted a cold draft. The place was packed but I was able to find a seat at the bar area. I ordered my IPA and enjoyed my cold brew while staying away from the outdoor 100+ heat. Quick friendly service and it was still busy when I left for the game.

Becky H.

Yelp
Good food with a great atmosphere! We were downtown for a concert and they got us in and out in a timely manner. Would like to spend more time next visit!
google avatar

Sara M.

Yelp
We stopped here before a concert last night. Since there was also a game going on, it was busy but we managed to snag a table quickly. We ordered drinks, salad and fish & chips. Prices were decent and service was good. The BLT salad was packed full of fresh ingredients and quite large. The Fish & Chips were ok but nothing great. Two large pieces of fish were served and it was fresh and moist but the fries were blah. What really surprised me was the coleslaw and tarter sauce. I love spicy food but the jalapeno chopped up in the broccoli/kale slaw was not a pleasant surprise. So hot in fact that I had to skip it. There was no mention of this by the server or on their menu. When I mentioned it, she said the kitchen sometimes adds jalapeno's into it but not always. Weird. The tarter sauce was also strange. I enjoy pickles and know they're in most tarters but this one had huge pieces cut up and it was otherwise very runny. I love dipping my fish into a creamy, thick sauce but this was not it. If I return, I would order differently.

Joseph C.

Yelp
Great food. Service was slow because of shortage of wait staff. Most people were there for a concert that was canceled. I would go back. It is loud inside due to sports on lots of tvs... still was a good experience and would recommend this place.

Brea B.

Yelp
The food is ok. The staff were terrible especially the bartenders. Absolutely trash!!

Yelp
Great Service from lyssa. Best Cheeseburger sliders I've had ! Would recommend to anyone. I will be back. Jeff W

Yelp
Came here to eat before heading to the Mets/Diamondbacks game. The place was packed (there's also Suns/Lakers game tonight) but we only had to wait 10mins to be seated at a "community table" with another couple (there was a seat between us and the other couple on the other end of the high top). We ordered the giant pretzel to start. Hubby ordered the fish & chips and I got the Baja Bowl. The pretzel lives up to its name. It is HUGE! It was a little more on the bread side with its thick doughy center but it was salted well and tasted great. The cheese sauce was amazing. Could have done with 2 of the ramekins to dunk into since we were fighting over the last bits of cheese. The fish was also big pieces but the center was a little underdone (probably the thickness and weight of it). But the ends were crisp and thoroughly cooked. Nice and crispy and flavorful! The tartar sauce was on the thinner side but I like it that way. The fries were wedges with the crispy batter on outside and chewy center. Paired well with the fish. Can see why the dish is a local fave. The Baja bowl was delicious and packed with flavor and cilantro (my fave). The rice was a little more al dente rather than squishy sticky rice but again that's how I prefer it (especially in a Latin inspired dish). It was a large portion and plenty filling. These guys know how to handle a busy game night crowd!! Seated quickly, food came out fast, and they turned over tables quickly to get everyone in before the games started (empties out as soon as they start). Server Ashley was fantastic (friendly and fast service and kept checking in on us even with a crowded section). It's a little loud to have convos, but it's the perfect place to come hang before a game or to catch it on TV.

Yelp
Greg and Nichole, the CrPH Dugout Bartenders, are genuinely happy and quick with our drink, even when it's super busy! We always choose the Dugout (on the outside patio of CrPH) for DBacks pregame because of them. Greg has always taken care of me with his best margaritas. As you're walking by to the game, stop into the Dugout bar on the CrPH patio and let Greg and Nichole take care of you... well worth pregaming here!
google avatar

Timo L.

Yelp
The perfect downtown sports bar! Prime location and the bartenders and servers still will always give you the neighborhood sports-bar feel and atmosphere even on busy Basketball/Baseball/Concert days next door. And if you root for Liverpool you'll never walk alone after catching one of their matches at the pub! And don't forget to check out their burgers/wings and other delicious food options!!
google avatar

Ricky A.

Yelp
You would think chicken tenders would be the safest thing to get here, clearly not. Chicken wasn't cooked all the way
google avatar

Sandy B.

Yelp
Amazing service and amazing food! We loved the chicken tenders so much we went back a few days later for more. A very clean & fun atmosphere. Best place to stop before a game or concert
google avatar

Leslie W.

Yelp
Fantastic Reubens! Wings good also. Good Scotch selection. Super clean - bathrooms too! We had the nicest bartender/waitress. The location is directly across from the Diamondbacks field and on the metro train line. Lots of TVs for sports. Music from the jukebox..not too loud! Inside and outside seating. We sat inside at the bar. So I can't vouch for service anywhere but the bar. Just a warning, there are a lot of homeless folks who hang out right here. None of them bothered us for a handout. But if you're sitting outside be careful.
google avatar

Andrea H.

Yelp
Had a really good lunch here. The menu was new and I had planned to get fish n chips but went with Chicken Fried Chicken and it was delicious. I live up near Canada where poutine is popular, I was surprised to see it on the menu. They did a good job with it. Husband had the meatloaf and enjoyed it. Huge portions for lunchtime.
google avatar

Michaela J.

Yelp
This place is great! The servers are very attentive, price of food is affordable, everything's tastes great & the portions are big as well. If you want to avoid the crowds try to go during lunch because it can get very crowded at night. Check it out!
