We visit the Epicurean at Crown Sydney a few times each year, and it’s always an exceptional experience. The quality and range of food, especially the seafood selection, are outstanding. Everything is fresh, beautifully presented, and constantly replenished. The buffet offers something for everyone, from sashimi and oysters to roasts, Asian dishes, and incredible desserts. For the variety and standard of food, it’s excellent value for money, especially considering the premium location and service. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, and the staff are always attentive without being overbearing. It’s a real treat every time we go. Just a heads-up, parking at Crown can be quite expensive, but there are nearby options like Divvy that are much more affordable. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys great seafood and a top-tier buffet experience in Sydney.

Hands down some of the worst service I have experienced. We came here with our family and when I first drove in the valley tried to stop us from entering and send us away. Then when I explained we were staying, he hit the car hard and told me to move forward so I wasnt blocking the way. Despite horrible interaction, we still gave him a generous tip. We then decided to rent a cabana by the pool and ordered a fruit platter. It took more than an hour for the fruit platter to arrive and we had to go to the kiosk to remind the of our order. When we went to pick up the car in the evening I was with my two very young kids who were exhausted. The vallet (same man that was rude on entrance) said it would take 7 mins and suggested we wait inside for the car and he would let us know when it was ready. We waited 15 mins then realised it was sitting outside but no one had told us. We went and asked them for the keys. They couldn't find them and we ended up waiting half an hour for them to find them. When we said that it wasnt okay considering the price we paid for them to park a car they got angry at us and refused to even make eye contact. And this is just our first days experience. The rooms and facilities are okay but if your looking for service, stay far away. You'd get better treatment in a local hostel than here.

We had such a wonderful experience! The staff were absolutely amazing so kind, helpful, and accommodating. Due to disability requirements, we were upgraded, and the suite we received was incredible. We also dined at Woodcut, which was a superb restaurant, and when we needed to change our booking from Epicurean, the staff went above and beyond to assist us. Truly excellent service from start to finish!

The service is average for a 5 stars hotel. The room although was generally looked nice, it lacked of amenities and cleanliness. We basically had to called the housekeeping a few times during our stay. Only a couple packet of teas, not enough cup or towel for the amount of guest staying, bed head was dusty. I think for the price, it could be better. Toilet was pretty standard but spacious. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. Morning breakfast was a breeze, a good made barista coffee and excellent selection of food and drink.

We’ve had a staycation here many times and it’s just fantastic, quality and service wise it’s just so far the best quality hotel in Sydney, the rooms and views are amazing (esp the suites), and all come with huge baths and plenty of luxuries But the hero for us in the infinity pool, I’ve swam in it at night, in the rain, had the entire pool to myself, and it was my sons first proper swim and bath, a proper water baby now because of this wonderful hotel. It’s worth waiting for the specials to get the best deals

Claudia is an exceptional manager and a true asset to the hotel. From the moment we arrived, she greeted us with warmth, energy, and a genuine enthusiasm that immediately made us feel welcome. Claudia went above and beyond—spending time with us, answering all of our questions with patience and care, and sharing countless local tips that made our trip unforgettable. Her recommendations for restaurants, bars, and cafés were all spot-on, helping us experience the best the area has to offer. It’s clear that Claudia not only knows her stuff, but truly enjoys helping guests make the most of their stay. Her passion, professionalism, and local knowledge truly set her apart. Thanks to Claudia, our visit was smoother, more enjoyable, and far more memorable than we ever expected. She truly made a difference, and we’re incredibly grateful!

Nice hotel overall . I had a premier suit, however , the view on a harbour is disgusting, no even view from the bathroom for 1.5k. When I requested so. Was also placed at level 10. Super overrated for harbour view as you would look at the concrete. Again I specifically upgraded to premier suit to not see awful harbour view

One of the best hotels in Sydney, however, it doesn't quite meet the 5-star experience in other hotels. The room was spacious and comfortable with a beautiful view of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. Although some amenities available during my previous stays at Crown were no longer provided. All the staff are very friendly. The gym is decent and has a good variety of equipment. Good location with plenty of dining options.

Yelp
Crown Hotel in Sydney, nestled on Darling Harbor, offers a truly glamorous experience. The rooms are spacious and exude a Vegas-style charm that adds a touch of luxury to your stay. The hospitality is exceptional, reminiscent of the high standards found in Las Vegas. The hotel boasts a huge gym, perfect for fitness enthusiasts. And when it comes to breakfast, the Vegas-style buffet is a highlight. It features an array of international delights, including a noodle bar, delectable dim sum, mouthwatering steak, and other breakfast favorites. Crown Hotel guarantees a lavish and indulgent stay, leaving guests feeling pampered and satisfied.
