We stayed at the Crown for 1 night fir my husbands birthday. The room was so pretty and comfortable. The view was gorgeous. The bathroom had great amenities including a large bathtub and a heated toilet. The room was so clean. The bed was very comfortable I slept without waking up. The technology was top notch and I was very warm. The breakfast in the epicurean had a great selection and the pool was very pretty. The staff were super friendly and checking in and out was a breeze. Well worth the expensive money.

A deeply disappointing experience — far from what you'd expect from a “luxury” hotel We booked a stay at Crown Sydney to celebrate a special birthday, expecting a peaceful, luxurious weekend. Unfortunately, what was meant to be a thoughtful surprise turned into a frustrating and exhausting experience. To be clear, we understand that early check-ins are not always possible — that’s completely fair. But arriving to find our room still not ready at 3:30pm, when check-in time was officially 3pm, was unacceptable. We were told to enjoy the area while we waited, which we did. Yet coming back and still not having a room ready felt careless. When we finally accessed our room, we had to wait over an hour for our luggage to be delivered. That meant we missed our chance to enjoy the pool — simply because we didn’t have our clothes with us. To make things worse, we had arranged a bottle of champagne to be in the room upon arrival as part of the celebration — a small detail that was meant to make the moment special. It was delivered four hours later, long after the occasion had passed. For a hotel that positions itself as one of Sydney’s finest, the lack of attention to detail, slow service, and disregard for guest experience was beyond disappointing. The price tag suggests 5-star quality — the reality was far from it. We rarely write negative reviews, but this one was earned. If you're looking to truly relax or celebrate something meaningful, we would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Absolutely outstanding customer service! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by Gianluca, whose warm welcome, lovely energy, and beautiful smile instantly made me feel at home. It’s rare to encounter such genuine hospitality right off the bat. Gloria brought a whole new level of charm to the experience—her wit and effortless charisma were matched only by her professionalism. She delivered exceptional service that you simply don’t come across these days—graceful, attentive, and with a personal touch that made all the difference. And then there was Veronica, whose attentiveness was nothing short of remarkable. She had an incredible ability to anticipate my needs before I even voiced them. Her intuitive service and quiet confidence made me feel completely looked after, without ever having to ask. This team is the definition of first-class service. Every interaction felt personal, thoughtful, and seamless. I genuinely can’t wait to return. Food was beyond what we were expecting, fantastic experience!

We made a spontaneous decision to stay the night. Staff were very professional. Rooms were beautiful. View stunning. Breakfast - a bit ordinary but what really threw us was that you have to PAY for coffee after the first "free" one. We were very surprised that this could be considered reasonable given the price of the room with the added breakfast. The charge was only $6 but that is not the point. We will stay again but only stay - not eat though.

Nice place. But bit of a disappointment when I entered expecting the same as Melbourne 😀. It's a completely different offering. Not much to do and walk unless you want to get to the gaming floor or dine at one of the high end restaurants. It was not so busy when I went on a Monday evening to have a look. Very well maintained, beautiful property as Crown is always. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. So if you are planning to go there, pls make sure you have a reservation at one of the restaurants or plan for gaming. Kids are not allowed in bars and gaming floors as always. Could find high end retail outlets here. Expensive as expected. I wished it was not more lively, but understand the place is for high end gaming. Never stayed in a room or dined so can't comment I'm sure they are good as always. Enjoy.

This place is located in one of the most beautiful locations. I didn’t stay this time but visited a friend who was staying and her experience was exactly the same as my previous stays. The rooms aren't cleaned to a standard that is expected of such a prestigious hotel and the service is very lacking. I was going to have my daughters birthday celebrations with many of us wanting to stay there but after past experiences and lack of communication from Management I didn’t take the chance. After visiting my friends I'm glad we didn't proceed with those plans

Currently staying 2 night with adult children in separate rooms. 3 different room types- premier suite, harbour bridge studio and deluxe king. We have travelled extensively, Crown Sydney is stunning! All rooms were very large, the deluxe king was a surprise considering it was the cheapest room of the 3. And well appointed, room technology was challenging at first but it’s the way to go. Tip- elevators are a bit daunting, but again, fantastic once understood. We all slept like logs, bed, doonas we’ve very comfortable. Room and facilities are 6 star however, we were left at reception until 4pm on checkin. We arrived at 2pm and were told the room wasn’t available which was reasonable as checkin wasn’t until 3pm. We were told another 10 minutes several times. This is totally unacceptable! I would suggest they offer a coffee or at minimum inform us that they were having issues so we could get lunch. I have written a complaint so will be interested to see if I get a response. Local restaurants selection is reasonably priced and a great variety of selections. Final thoughts, best accommodation in Australia.

We stopped by Cirq for some tapas and a few drinks, and it did not disappoint. The views alone are worth the visit—absolutely stunning, especially as the sun starts to set. It’s one of those spots where you just want to sit back, relax, and take it all in. The tapas were super tasty—really fresh and full of flavour. Perfect for sharing with a few drinks. The vibe was relaxed but still felt a bit special, and the staff were friendly and easygoing. Just a great spot to unwind and enjoy the view.
