I stayed at this hotel with my wife to celebrate her birthday, hoping for a relaxing and memorable getaway — but it turned into a nightmare.
While entering the spa area at night, I slipped badly because the floor was extremely slippery and the area was poorly lit. I fell hard and the skin on my toe was split open deeply — it was bleeding heavily. I had to go to the hospital urgently, where they cleaned the wound, gave me a tetanus shot, and stitched my toe.
The staff on site were kind enough to provide first aid and advised me to go to the hospital right away. However, one of the staff members even mentioned that the tiles were not in good condition and could be slippery, which clearly shows that they were aware of the issue.
Despite this, the hotel still insisted that it was entirely my fault and refused to take any responsibility.
After the incident, I sent countless emails trying to get a proper response, but replies were extremely hard to receive. When I finally did get an answer, it was only another attempt to shift the blame.
I even visited the hotel again in person, but every time I spoke to someone, I was told that “another person” would handle it — and the cycle of avoidance continued with no real action or accountability.
I had to go to the emergency room alone, pay all the medical expenses myself, and return to the hotel four hours later — on what was supposed to be a special birthday night.
Really disappointed and frustrated by how this hotel handled the situation. I expected far better care, professionalism, and responsibility from a hotel of this level.
