Came here with my daughter for a little date! It was so cute. The service was fast and friendly, but very relaxed. We enjoyed our time here.

It was so nice having tea here. We rented a small room with full tea service for four and enjoyed getting all dressed up. The vibe was fancy, but calm. The owner(?) was so nice she even created a custom blend for my daughter, who asked for milk tea with strawberry. All of the teas and food were delectable! We will definitely be coming back.

My daughter and I love Jane Austen’s novels and always wanted to share a High Tea. I lived in London where I discovered Cream Tea, so our anticipation was high as we dressed up to experience Crowning Glory. We were greeted like esteemed guests, and were captivated by the genteel beauty of the decor, the well-dressed ladies, and the soothing chamber music. I chose a wide brimmed hat to add to my ensemble, we each chose a teacup, and we were escorted to the lovely St Cecilia room, where we drew a curtain and enjoyed complete privacy. Our unobtrusive waiter took our tea orders and we were delighted by the prompt delivery of our enchanting three tiered food assortment and fragrant teas. The sandwiches were delicious and the Cream Tea just rich as what I had in London. We had difficulty finding room for the delightful pastries, but fueled by another cup of tea, we pressed on, leaving the delightful rosebud-topped brownies for last. It was a delight to the senses, a delicious meal and a unique experience which we will cherish. I look forward to bringing my other two daughters to join us for another unique, exquisitely feminine occasion.

This was a truly magical experience for me and my wife - we felt so welcome, cared for, and seen to! I can’t wait to come back with our daughter. I saw many kids come for tea and I just thought that was so cool, the layout and environment is welcoming to people of all ages… and it’s not intimidating at all - if it’s your first time having tea or your hundredth, this is the place to go. Thank you and God bless! See ya soon.

We had a reservation for a Saturday morning in May of 2022. Overall it was a pleasant experience, but there were some things that could have been better. With it being our first visit, we were expecting to get some more information about all of the elements included in the experience. Upon entering, we were immediately shown to our table, though it seemed like other parties were told there was themed hats available to wear. Then, when our food tray did come out, we weren't told what the items were until that same server came back and explained them a good 5 minutes later. It seemed like a lot of bigger groups had better service and attention. And even though there was unlimited tea included, we had to try to get one of the several wait staff over for a refill a few times. The teas and finger foods were yummy. Some of the desserts seemed store bought and then some sandwiches were fairly plain - all still tasty however. Overall, we went for the ambiance, but expected there could be better food options. Luckily, there was plenty to fill up on for the price and a fairly wide selection of tea. Also, the gift shop has some questionable merchandise which detracted from the theme. Ideally, I'd prefer to be immersed into an English afternoon tea experience free from political and religious messaging.

We absolutely love the Crowning Glory Tea Room! It's such a unique experience unlike others in the valley. My daughters loved getting to pick their own unique tea pot/cup set to use. The food is always tasty and the teas are all very good as well.

What a beautiful hidden gem this place is. I reserved a table for 7 ladies for my mom's 90th Birthday Tea Party recently. We all absolutely loved this adorable and exquisite tea room. We were in awe fun the moment we walked in. Maria greeted us and made us feel comfortable and had us pick out our own gorgeous little tea cup and tea pot. Then she sat us all and explained everything, including the different tea flavors we could have and explained what we were served for our lunch. There were several different finger sandwiches, and other delictable scrumptious items including English scones with jelly and cream. Oh and we certainly can't forget the delectable deserts, wow, sooo yummy! To make the special event even more fun, we all wore tea dresses and tea hats. They did have extra hats for people to wear if they wanted as well. My mom opened her presents and had such a wonderful time. Sherry the owner was there and wished my mom a Happy Birthday. We all told her what a beautiful place she had and that we were having a wonderful time. As we were about to leave, Maria presented my mom with a pretty broach pin in the shape of a gold crown. My mom was so surprised and loved the gift. She had a few tears in her eyes and told me that she felt so loved and happy! Thank you Sherry, Maria and staff for making my mom's 90th Birthday such a wonderful event. We will definitely be back soon!!

The atmosphere is beautiful. That’s the main positive. Other than that, we were asked to change our reservation time to accommodate another party. When we got there it took a few minutes for anyone to greet us. We were taken to our tanker which was crammed into a room with as many tables as physically possible. Our waiter said they “ran out” of tea pots so we could only get one tea decided between my part of three. I asked if we could have a replenishment of a sandwich variety and was told both that they ran out and that they don’t do that. At other tea places I get refills of tea and sandies. But nothing was explained to us when we were sat either. We got very few check in’s and had to flag our waiters down for more tea. Then when we waited for a cream refill for 20 minutes we just got up and left. No body checked on us or checked us out. Sorry, we won’t be back. Don’t waste your money.

Yelp
I can't wait to return! I had such a lovely time there. It was so magical! Peter was a dream that helped us enjoy the experience. Booking a private room next time. Merci

Angy S.

Yelp
If you love high tea in a beautiful vintage place, this is the spot for you. The tea is absolutely delicious and the snacks are wonderful.

Kathrin J.

Yelp
Nicely decorated place, you pick your own tea cup and, if you like, pick a hat. My friends chose the Christmas chai and liked it, I had an Earl Gray . The sandwiches were well made and good tasting (nothing extraordinary) The cherry scones were delicious. Service was attentive, there was no problem getting refills on hot water etc. It was a pleasant and relaxing experience. I'd go again. It is $55/person which includes tax and gratuity.

Dakine B.

Yelp
PHENOMENAL!!! Wow what a great place. I brought my mom here for her bday today. It was PERFECT. The tea is extraordinary and the food is equally wonderful. I love getting to choose your own teacup and teapot to use. The service is exactly what you'd hope for. Attentive and kind. I will be back. Thank you all!

Michelle B.

Yelp
Beautiful atmosphere, attention to detail, wonderful customer service. The pastries are delicious, the tea was refreshing and the salad was beautifully served too. I can't wait to return and share more memories with friends and family.

Yelp
We wanted a special experience for my mom's 91st birthday so we booked the Lisieux Room to celebrate. My siblings and mother enjoy tea but my dirty little secret is that I do not. (Gasp) Crowning Glory offered so many different options that even I found two teas that I ended up truly enjoying, which made me quite happy. I imbibed in Perpetua's Paradise (apple, strawberry, rose hips, hibiscus) and Magdalene's Garden (apple, rose hips, hibiscus, raspberry.) They also offered all kinds of black, green, white and oolong teas. Each person chooses their own tea pot and can try whatever flavors of tea they would like. The large tower of food they brought out was impressive, and there were plenty of savory and sweet options for all to share. I wouldn't say that any of the items were especially outstanding but all were passable. I thought the salad with its poppyseed dressing hit the spot and was a nice contrast to the sweets. The chicken salad sandwich was decent, but none of the sandwiches wowed me. The cherry scone was very moist and delicate, and I appreciated that the chocolate cake was not overly sweet. As it was, we took some of the items home as we were too full to finish the tray. The five star rating basically stems from the charm of Crowning Glory. In the Liseux Room, it was like sitting in a fancy, comfortable guest room for two hours. If you have a larger group (we had five people) there was a bigger room but it might not feel so intimate. It would be perfect for a bridal shower or birthday party though. For groups of five or smaller, there were definitely several small private books to enjoy, all decorated uniquely. Sometimes we had to seek out service but overall the people there are incredibly kind. My sister left her phone by accident and I believe it was the owner (?) who agreed to meet her later in Gilbert to return it. Pretty amazing of her. Even before that kind act, they were very responsive to my inquiries.

Jazmyn M.

Yelp
I love high tea, however this was a let down. The finger foods were not high quality. Everything was so mayo heavy it was almost in edible. The desserts were decent but nothing to write home about. The tea however was wonderful. The service was excellent. And the ambiance was ADORABLE. The food was just a huge miss.

Yelp
We enjoyed our experience of afternoon tea in the French room. Great decor, fun trying on the hats and fascinators, friendly and attentive servers, liked the idea of choosing your own teapot and a nice choice of teas. The sandwiches and cakes were very good and provided great flavors. The grapes and fromage Frais were a nice extra touch. Some feedback: not impressed with the American style scones, really would have liked British Scones, to make it more authentic and cream was not Devonshire as indicated. I had a fruit tea but others in the group didn't enjoy the black tea, too weak.

Karen M.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem and we'll worth a visit! Great tea and food. The scones aren't the best ones I've ever had, but they are good. Everything else is fabulous! I love that you can pick your tea room; and that they have hats you can wear, if you choose. The staff is young and friendly; and the owner is a true delight! Also, I love the tables aren't packed together, so you feel like you have some space and aren't part of other people's conversations ( like some other places). Will definitely be back!!!

Inday C.

Yelp
Adorable. Love the decor and set up. Private rooms were available and each one was beautifully decorated. Very English looking, antiquated. As you enter, an array of tea cups will catch the eye! Hats or fascinators are offered. The hostess took a while to sit us but we browsed and were enthralled by everything we saw. The food was good, sandwiches and scones and dessert. A great choice of tea was offered and of course changeable if needed. Service was amazing to ensure we had what we needed. Reservations are encouraged. This is a definite must try and a must experience. Way to experience an afternoon high tea.

Brooke A.

Yelp
I love the idea of this tea! The exterior and much of the interior is so cute! They allow you to borrow hats and pick out your tea set on arrival. There are a handful of themed room options. We were seated in the main area which got fairly loud which isn't the ideal setting for a tea. The service was very slow we would often be sitting with empty pots and cups of tea. I also wish the salad had been portioned according to group size it seemed the group of 2 had the same size salad as a group of 5. All in all a fun experience in the area but there are areas for improvement.

Kat E.

Yelp
Such a cute and fun experience!!! 10/10 recommend - we loved every minute of it and the staff was so kind and friendly. Can't wait to go back!

Sue W.

Yelp
Wonderful time at the tea room today celebrating a birthday of one of my friends! Atmosphere, food and of course the tea was delicious!!

Maureen G.

Yelp
Best tea room I've been to in AZ. Cozy, charmingly beautiful, wonderful selections of teas and the food is delicious! Can't wait to go back!

Betty P.

Yelp
Staff is really friendly. There are many options/flavors of tea to choose from. The food was fresh and very tasty. I would definitely recommend.

Chelsea D.

Yelp
This tea room is so wonderful! The tea and food are delicious and the ambiance is so relaxing. My three year old daughter loved her first "tea party"! They let her choose a stuffy to have tea with and take home, which was an unexpected surprise! My mom is gluten free and they served her a separate tray of similar offerings to ours. She said it was delicious. We will definitely be returning!

Denise P.

Yelp
This charming tea house is very unique, in that you choose a "room" that will fit your party. There are no doors that close off the room, but it feels very intimate. The décor is very quaint with antique furniture, Knick knacks , curtains and pillows. You choose your personal teapot with cup and saucer. There was also a rack with many styles of tea hats that you could wear (very cute). There is an extensive tea menu with choices ranging between fruity, spicy and more traditional teas. A good sized tower of café and baked goods is provided and most of them were good. There were several sandwich options, a large quarter of a full sandwich in 4 types, chicken, tuna, cucumber and ham per person. The sweets were scones, cakes and a cookie. I enjoyed the overall ambience and that is really what you are paying for, the experience.

Kim S.

Yelp
We visited Crowning Glory Tea room for Mother's Day weekend. This place is absolutely adorable. Tea was delicious!!

Mike G.

Yelp
First visit to This tea room. My wife and I went to their high tea. Wonderful ambiance with parlor seating or table seating. We chose parlor seating since it was only for two. Both settings were spaced apart enough to give you a feel of privacy. Assortment of teas which were unlimited, although I only had one. Tea was delicious. Tiered setting of finger sandwiches, salad and desserts were excellent. I would highly recommend Crowning Glory, we will come again.

Jess M.

Yelp
This place is so Quaint and adorable I absolutely adore this place!! The atmosphere is just so cheery and adorable and I always have a blast here

Yuko H.

Yelp
Loved everything about this place!!! I made a reservation over the phone as we had a group of 10. Online reservation is available for smaller group. A lady I spoke on the phone was very nice and I could tell from her tone of the voice that she really wanted to make sure our experience will be as good as it gets. Each room has own theme and I got to tour around to check out all of them. Loved all the decor and everyone came to our event thought this place is so lovely. I really liked their sandwich, especially the cucumber one. Their macaron was pretty good, two hours we spent there went by very quick. Service is also excellent. Staff is dressed in black long dress and white aprons, they made me feel like a princess. Hats are available if you don't bring your own. They had just enough for ten of us and we all got to dressed for an occasion. They even have a small bell at each room if you need anything from them. They have small rooms to a large dining room to accompany any size of group for lovely afternoon tea experience.

Joseph P.

Yelp
Great selection of teas. Reasonable prices and menu selection. Friendly, efficient staff.

James L.

Yelp
My wife wanted to check this place out, she is very fond of English high tea. We were not disappointed! Wonderful atmosphere and location. We will be back often.

Erica Taylor Y.

Yelp
The ambiance was lovely, and the assortment of teas, sandwiches, scones and cookies were perfect! Would definitely come back.

Miriam F.

Yelp
Wonderful experience on Saturday... my friend took me there for my birthday. So much details in decorating tea rooms.. I was charmed by the decor, music and service. Everyone should experience the high tea by visiting the tea house.

Vicki S.

Yelp
I had my birthday party here with 15 of my girlfriends and we all had a fabulous time! I wanted the traditional High Tea experience and this is the place that is way cheaper than anywhere else in the valley and still has great quality and service. My friends and I had so much fun getting dressed up (and they have hats and accessories you can borrow)! The teas were exquisite - best I've ever had - and so many to choose from! The service was immaculate - especially Antoinette who was so very knowledgeable of each tea and how they are best served. The staff constantly wined and dined us so our plates and cups were never empty. It was the cutest place too. My friends and I could not stop taking pictures and talking about it. I highly recommend this place for any party or just to go relax with a friend. I will definately be back.

J G.

Yelp
Wow wow wow! What a beautiful afternoon at this gorgeous tea house. We celebrated my sister's bridal shower here and I cannot say enough good things. The food was outstanding, the staff was beyond accommodating and a good time was had by all. I highly recommend having a ladies lunch here or as my six-year-old put it "if you're sad come here and you'll be happy" she wasn't wrong!

De R.

Yelp
Fantastic bucket list experience. Chef, owners, and staff were amazing. We will be back!

Christine K.

Yelp
Visited the Crowning Glory tea room in December 2022 with my mom. While we understand it was the holiday season, the service was horrible. No one was greeted upon entering, the waiting room was full of customers standing around in confusion. Many others got seated before us; we waited over 30min. to be seated (after our appointment time) and another 30min. to receive our tea and food (all which was preordered). No one checked in on us, we had to flag staff down for more tea and find our own to-go box. The table next to us didn't even get hot water for their tea! If we hadn't of prepaid, we would of walked out. This was supposed to be a special, relaxing afternoon and it was loud, disorganized, and frustrating. Very sad, we will not return.

Valerie F.

Yelp
So happy to been able to experience the beauty of crowning glory tea room. So nice to sip on delicious tea, lunch, a savory dessert and great conversation with my husband. The atmosphere is welcoming and your meal is thoughtfully planned out for you. I definitely recommend!

Amanda R.

Yelp
Cutest little tea room ever! Excellent servers and the foods served were yummy. I recommend getting one of the private rooms for a small group or even a nice afternoon date.

Sharon F.

Yelp
I placed an order 3 days ago for Mother's Day for High Tea to go! The service and friendliness provid by Sherry has just been delightful and extensive! I'm looking forward to picking up our order next Sunday! Thank you for having this Mother's Day High Tea for pickup during these shelter in place times! Just finished our Mother's Day High Tea and it was EXCEPTIONAL! Beautifully plated. Delicious food! Wonderful delectable teas! A perfect way to do Mother's Day during Covid! Thank you! Can't wait to visit in person!

Heather M.

Yelp
What a lovely place! The different dining rooms were simply adorable, we enjoyed walking through and swing them all. We had our own private tea room which we enjoyed with our larger party. The food was delicious! The staff was so friendly and a accommodating. We will definitely be back!!

Sherrie Q.

Yelp
Wonderful experience: very friendly, good tea selection, food was tasty. Fun place to celebrate the 80th birthday of a dear lady!

Vickie D.

Yelp
Located in fountain Hills this is a delightful tea parlor. Its various rooms are beautifully decorated and their attention and devotion to detail is amazing. If you want to Feel special order a delicious high tea. It will taste delicious like an authentic experience.

Andrea R.

Yelp
Sherry is truly passionate about her love of tea and sharing it with others, and this shines throughout the entire experience at the tea room. The decor is very thoughtful and enchanting, the food is outstanding and the service is impeccable - you won't want to leave! I hosted a bridal shower at Crowning Glory today and could not have been happier with how things turned out. Sherry and her team setup the Mary's Garden room perfectly to accommodate the 20+ guests, as well as an area dedicated for the gifts. They made the entire event feel effortless. Give this place a try and I'm sure you, too, will become a fan and a regular visitor.

Miss C.

Yelp
They have went above and beyond to service the three of us!! We called in ahead of time to reserve a table AND they accommodate one that was attending that was vegan!! I would recommend this soothing place to get some tea and hang out to anyone.

June B.

Yelp
Very nice staff, good quality food, lovely surroundings and presentation.

Lynn B.

Yelp
What a Hidden Gem I found! Highly recommend this charming tea room. What a lovely and relaxing experience. Who would think having tea and lunch could make you feel transported to another era and country. Crowning Glory Tea Room has little private themed rooms with comfy sofas and chairs or you can dine in the elegant main dining area. Make sure you look closely in the rooms for hidden unique decor treasures! We had High Tea in the French room. First we each picked out a fancy tea hat, then searched through over a dozen gorgeous tea pots and cups to find the one I loved, and then just relaxed while being individually catered to by well dressed wait staff. The staff were very knowledgeable and super friendly, despite my numerous tea and decor questions. The specialty teas... WOW! So many to choose from- black, green, oolong, white, natural fruit and flower teas. Just Exquisite! (I over heard that they even had coffee and ice tea). The array of finger foods were very fresh, tasty, and desserts were heavenly. Two hours passed and I didn't want it to end! I also liked the gift shop filled with their specialty teas (at a great price) and tea products to take home. Looking forward to going again soon.

Emily M.

Yelp
I took my friend here for her birthday. We had a great time! Definitely worth the price. The tea is delicious and the surroundings even better. :)

Mikele F.

Yelp
Absolutely lovely! We reserved the "French" room, perfect place to catch up with friends. The atmosphere is relaxed and the food was great, will be going back.

Bonnie B.

Yelp
This place is wonderful! Sherry is so attentive and takes the time to go over how things work. We did the high tea - the food included was really terrific and abundant and the teas are so flavorful! My favorite foods were the cucumber sandwich and the maple scone along with the shortbread cookie and my favorite tea was the Magdalene's Garden - light and raspberry! Yum!! Also, you get to pick the teapot you want to use and if you love it, all the tea pots are for sale, so you can take it home with you! We got the St. Francis room which was great, since my family and I all love animals, but they have several other rooms and you can see all of them online before you choose. I'm so glad we found this place and we will definitely be going back again and again!!

Karen P.

Yelp
What a great place this was. My Mom and I went there and what a great time we had. We gad our own special room aNd they provided this fun hats to wear if we wanted. The food and tea were fabulous. We already booked a room for a group for Mother's Day. We are looking forward to it.

Lexi F.

Yelp
The service, food, and tea still amazing! I love the new additions with the ham and cheese rolls and cannolis. Our favorites are the maple scones, pink frosted cookies, and the French cream and sugared grapes :)

Denise A.

Yelp
What a perfect place to celebrate a birthday! From the minute we stepped into the room I felt like a queen!! The decor - the lovely teapots - the flowers - the whole atmosphere was just beautiful. When we went to sit at our table there was a beautiful cloth napkin in a lovely "crown" napkin ring on our plates. Even the upholstered chairs were printed with flowers and the name of the tea room! The hostesses were so welcoming - all with smiles and clearly proud of their place. There was no feeling of rushing to turn over the table; on the contrary, they came back multiple times to ask if we wanted to try another tea. The little sandwiches, scones and desserts were served on a three-tier silver plate. We worked our way through and couldn't finish everything so we took some home. While everything was wonderful, my favorite was the scone with the brandied cherry in the middle. We will be back, likely for my BFF's birthday. I'll also take my future daughter-in-law there when they visit over the holidays. It's a perfect place to spend a special occasion, or just to get together with your best friends. They don't care how long you sit there and chat or how many of their gourmet teas you try. It's SO much more than a tea room - it's a wonderful experience!

Nicole R.

Yelp
Everything about Crowning Glory Tea Room is beautiful! The elegance of the rooms, the delicate, beautiful tea cups & pots, the delicious food, the choices of tea, the fabulous hats, and of course the stellar service by sweet, friendly, and knowledgable staff is just a few gems. We didn't want to leave b/c you feel welcomed, appreciated, at peace and even at home there. I've booked two more reservations within the next two weeks. I can't wait to take my little girls on a mommy & daughter date next week. This is an experience. I LOVE Crowning Glory Tea Room!

Nadia C.

Yelp
I was so excited when I saw this tea room opening up in Fountain Hills. I used to travel to Cave Creek and to the west valley for afternoon tea. They opened for business on May 17, so We took our mother there for a late Mother's Day tea on Saturday, May 19. There was a total of 8 of us and we were assigned the "New York" room. They have a few different themed rooms to accommodate different sized groups. I believe the New York room can seat up to 10 people. Each person picks a personal teapot/cup and brings it to the table. Then they come by with a tea cart and you choose any tea(loose leaf)you want and they make it for you right there! You can have as much tea as you want, and as many different flavors as you like. They were all delicious. You have a choice of hot tea or iced tea. They still brew the iced tea fresh and then pour it over ice. Then they bring out the food. The sandwiches, scones, fruit and pastries are served on a three tier setting and they set out 4 of them for the eight of us. Everything was very tasty. I almost forgot to mention the salad that comes with it. Delicious as well. Everyone enjoyed the experience....even the guys! They were hesitant to go in at first, but now they want to return! I have to say, they rivaled the other tea houses in the valley and in many ways outdid them.

Annie G.

Yelp
Crowing Glory Tea Room was a wonderful and true experience! A perfect environment to enjoy a variety of teas, delicious pastries and wonderful time with family and friends. The variety of pastries were absolutely delicious.. I couldn't stop eating them!! My favorite was the lavender lemon cake! A huge thank you to Crowning Glory Tea Room for a wonderful experience.. You have my highest recommendation

L M.

Yelp
This place is so very lovely! The staff is exceptionally nice and the tea and food is delicious! I love that they offer their teas to purchase too.
