A beloved wine bar that also happens to sling a stellar burger. Tampa Magazine recognized the Cru Burger, and the current menu confirms it’s still here—perfect with a glass of red and a side of fries on the leafy patio.

The food exceeded my expectations and Chef Jay packed a lot of flavor in this Salmon & Succotash dish!! I was with a party of 13 gorgeous ladies and we couldn't stop talking about how amazing each dish was. I'm not one who likes brussel sprouts, but I definitely recommend it! The truffle fries were perfect as well. We were gifted both desserts and I must say the Strawberry Shortcake could've went down in one gulp that's how good it was. Again, I don't care too much for S'mores, but the Spiced S'mores gave the campfire vibe and true to taste!! Not one complaint was heard because everything was just that magnificent!!!

I recently went to Cru Cellars for dinner, here is what I thought. Atmosphere: I love the atmosphere of Cru Cellars, you have to walk through the wines they’re selling to access the restaurant. The seating area is small, but quaint. They have a lovely outdoor seating area thats wonderful to enjoy in nice weather. Restrooms: They had two single bathrooms. The bathroom was nice and clean. Service: Our waitress was great. She was super friendly and circled back whenever we needed anything! The food came out quick! Food: The food was so good. We loved everything we ordered. We did family style and ordered a few appetizers, a flat bread, and charcuterie board to share. We tried their ‘Brussel Sprouts’ which were amazing, I could eat those days. We also tried their ‘Truffle Fries’ also so good, I loved the dipping sauces it came with. We tried their ‘Mushroom Flatbread’ which was delicious. We did their five option charcuterie board, which was the perfect sharing amount for four people. The bread it came with was freshly made, it was nice and fluffy. We loved their wine flight selections, all the wines were so good! You got three wines for $24! We will definitely be back! Instagram: @living.with.reg

A rainy day called for girl dinner and a glass of wine at Cru! I liked the wine cellar ambiance and it was certainly chilly like one. The Ybor burger enticed me but I don't think it lived up to my expectations, however the patty was juicy and delicious. The Truffle Fries were the highlight and no crumbs were left.

As a Cru Cellars wine club member, I can confidently say this spot is one of Tampa’s best-kept secrets for wine and food lovers alike. The club perks are fantastic—especially the $15 monthly dining credit, which can be applied to happy hour. It makes for a perfect midweek treat. On my last visit, we enjoyed the Cru Burger (which comes with a glass of Cabernet!), the burrata salad, and a fig & balsamic flatbread—every dish was flavorful, beautifully presented, and paired wonderfully with their wines. The s’mores dessert stole the show—rich, indulgent, and a must-order. Another great part of the experience is being able to pick up your monthly wines and browse their in-store selection, which always has something unique and worth trying. I love how the membership encourages me to explore new wines I might not have chosen on my own. Whether you’re a wine club member or just stopping by, Cru Cellars offers an elevated yet approachable experience with thoughtful food and an exceptional wine list.

I cannot thank the staff at Cru Cellars enough for making my daughter’s baby shower so perfect. The food was delicious. The wine choices perfect. The service was amazing. I highly recommend this place for a private event.

I came here with a group of women for an event. The ambiance is great, very dimmed lights - wine everywhere. The chairs and tables were minimal however, we had to drag smaller tables together to accommodate guests. I ordered the Cru burger and fries , unfortunately it was awful - it had no seasoning and the bread was very hard (I am aware that the bun is textured, but it wasn't very pleasant). The fries were also under seasoned. I took one bite and ordered a to go box and my $21 burger would up in the trash unfortunately. The service was okay, I couldn't find the waitress half of the time, there wasn't much (if not any) refreshening of my ice etc. Overall a nice vibe but for $26 (with automatic gratuity) for a hamburger that tasted like low quality unseasoned meat, I probably would not return . The wine was Pretty good though.

I love the tastings here because they are plentiful! I am a wine club member and I appreciate the variety offered. One of my favorite things about Cru is the ability to use inKind for my purchases. Between that and my club member discount, I always feel like I make smart and reasonable wine purchases. Parking at times can be tricky.

Came here on a Saturday night and there was a DJ playing chill house music - like a lounge vibe, we loved it. The food was great! We got the Fall Roasted Salad and the Steak sandwich, both were delicious. They also have an excellent selection of wines. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Cru Cellars is always a favorite. I love the wine store and restaurant combo, it's the best of both worlds. They have one of my favorite rosés on tap, the Txakolina, with perfect hints of strawberry and jalapeño, and I always grab a bottle to go from the shop. The food is just as good as the wine, with brussels sprouts that might be the best in Tampa and burrata that's always a must-order. The bar is fun to sit at and all around the vibes are super chill. The burger looked amazing too, definitely next on my list.

Yelp
Cru is one of our go to places, we typically can get in and the food is always good. We love the cheese and charcuterie selection, the hummus and the Ybor burger. It is also a great spot to meet a friend and have a flight of wine. Highly recommend!

Yelp
We went back (again) for a girls night and we this time tried the peri peri cauliflower which was so divine! It is on the happy hour menu for half off apps so be sure to try it: it is a mildly spicy (not too hot, more flavor packed) and lightly fried cauliflower with a bleu cheese dressing dipping sauce. A very nice portion as well! The truffle fries always are amazing, no notes there!

Yelp
Went here for the first time last week and we will definitely be going back! Our server, Alex, was informative and had great menu suggestions. The nachos were soooo good ! They had a middle eastern spice to them. The broth of the curry mussels was amazing and perfect for dipping crusty bread in. The steak frites was cooked nicely. We enjoyed wine flights and some other glasses as well. Can't wait to go back for happy hour !

Yelp
One of my favorite spots for happy hour! From 3-6pm on weekdays they have half off a few appetizers, $7 house red or white, or buy a bottle get a chef's cheeseboard. I always have excellent service here, and it was a great, cozy and trendy spot for a wine night with my girlfriends.

Yelp
I enjoyed my time at Cru Cellars! I had my book club here and everyone had a great time, especially with great service and food. I'm not sure why it took me this long to try it! They do have happy hour Monday to Friday from 3-6pm. I'll definitely come back! What I ordered: - Burrata & Tomato: balsamic glaze & basil - Truffle Fries with truffle aioli - Fig & Prosciutto Flatbread: house fig jam, prosciutto, cambozola blue, pickled onion, arugula balsamic - Fall Roasted Salad: arcadia mix, roasted butternut squash, charred broccolini, baby heirloom carrots, tomatoes, red onion, chevre, pepitas, maple mustard vinaigrette

Yelp
Cru Cellars in Palma Ceia is a great spot for my book club's monthly meetings! We love catching up over happy hour while discussing our latest read. The staff is always accommodating, making sure our large table is ready upon arrival, which is much appreciated. While the service can vary--some nights are more attentive than others--we consistently enjoy our experience here. I usually go for the hummus plate, which is fresh, delicious, and the perfect light bite for a book club gathering. I've tried eating vegan here and there is little more than a salad that fits the bill, but they have several vegetarian selections. The ambiance is cozy, and the space is generally clean and inviting. Depending on the night, the atmosphere ranges from lively (with groups of friends and colleagues) to quiet and relaxed. A heads-up: the parking lot is small and fills up quickly when it's busy. Overall, Cru Cellars is a lovely local spot to unwind with good conversation and tasty bites. I'm not a wine drinker, but they have a wine club that some of the book club members really enjoy.

Yelp
We visited Cru Cellars for a quick happy hour drink, and a snack before meeting some friends out for dinner one night. I ended up getting a non-happy hour Bordeaux, which was amazing and my husband got a beer. We also ordered this delicious Peri Peri cauliflower! We were short on time and let them know, they got us our food quickly our drinks quickly and our bill quickly, and we were in and out in time to meet our friends.

Yelp
I stopped by Cru Cellars for dinner the other night. With only a few minutes of happy hour left, we decided to order all four of the food options from the happy hour menu which are half-off. The server was so nice and got our order in quickly so we didn't miss the happy hour deal. All of the servers were very nice and relaxed which was wonderful after a busy day at work. It was also really cute to see so many friends getting together at Cru Cellars for a wine night. My two favorite dishes were the Peri Peri Cauliflower and the Loaded Hummus. Oh my goodness--the peri peri cauliflower was perfectly fried and it was delicious with the cambozola cream. The loaded hummus was packed with tomato, pickled onion, and olives. The pita bread was perfect and I simply couldn't get enough. The burrata and tomato dish was very fresh which I appreciated. I loved the fresh basil and balsamic glaze. The truffle fries were actually really disappointing. They didn't taste like truffle at all and neither did the aioli. We also got the rustic lamb ragu which featured braised lamb shank, stewed tomato, and a whipped herbed ricotta. Will definitely be back for more hummus and cauliflower, among other dishes here!

Yelp
I can't stop coming back to this place. After asking for a couple of wines they had sold out of, the bartender was able to guide us to even better options. This particular night they also had a DJ which made the atmosphere even better on a Friday night. Now for the food, I've never gotten an actual entree, but based on the appetizers alone, everything has been an 11/10. This has to be the best place to get charcuterie in Tampa.

Yelp
Visited Cru Cellars on a Wednesday evening and to my surprise this cute wine bar/restaurant was hosting a holiday wine tasting. I didn't participate in the wine tasting as I was only going there for dinner but I will definitely be checking out the events page to see when the next one is! Came for a bite to eat and this place was the perfect spot. We ordered two appetizers and shared. Both were excellent! The server recommended the nachos which were amazing, every bite was full of flavor! We also ordered the Fig and Prosciutto Flatbread and if you like sweet & savory dishes, this is a must try! Fast service even with an event going on and fabulous food!

Yelp
My ideal wine bar. Cute intimate bar area with some outdoor seating options as well. Great happy hour hidden in south Tampa - $10 glass of their wine of the day with half off some apps. The wine of the day we tried was the Alma negra brut rose -- 10/10, I LOVED it. We also tried the loaded hummus app. The addition of the roasted tomatoes and crispy chickpeas was perfection, especially paired with their fried pita chips. Service at the bar was speedy and friendly. May be giving this place 5 starts when I eventually come back for a whole dinner meal!

Yelp
I really do like this restaurant, we have now been here for dinner and for brunch. Every time we go, the restaurant is completely empty, maybe we're going out the wrong time. They have music on Saturdays, which is really fun. We have to check out! The food here does have a twist to it, I do believe you need a bit of a exploratory mindset. They have a lot of popular dishes, but with a twist. I knocked two stars because each time we do come here unfortunately, service is not the best and I feel like I'm being rushed out or unwanted here.
google avatar

Brittany R.

Yelp
A cute spot with decent parking. The outdoor space is nice and cozy. We ended up sitting inside after all. There are separated rooms making it a more intimate vibe. The service was great. The food options were limited. We really expected a more full cheese and charcuterie menu, but they only had one type of cheese and meat to serve as a board which we all thought was odd. We each had a wine flight at a decent price. I did really enjoy the mushroom flatbread and the Brussels sprouts. It's a cute place for a girls night and to have the experience of a wine flight, but not the place for a big dinner or a focus on food. They did give my friend a free glass of bubbly because we were celebrating, which I felt was a nice touch!

Yelp
When we first entered it took a little bit to get seated but they have a niche wine collection that I spent that time browsing. I say niche because I was only able to find European wines. Lucky for us, when we got seated and saw the menu I saw that they were doing a wine night tasting. All the wines we tasted were Hungarian and I must say they were all very smooth and easy on the palate. When introducing the wines, it was helpful to understand the taste profile because when I tasted the wine I knew to be looking for those flavors. It helped me appreciate the wine more. When ordered the mussels and the Cru burger. The mussels were delicious and I 100% recommend. The burger on the other hand was nothing special. The fries were stale and the burger itself was decent, most definitely not worth $19, that's way over priced for what you get. Overall the wine tasting was great, the service was alright and food could have been better.
google avatar

Maddy W.

Yelp
Went here for a Sunday Brunch and loved the energy. It's smaller on the inside with no more than 8 tables. We split an order of mussels and got mimosas. The mussels were flavor packed and a fair portion size - more than enough to be shared. I loved that the mimosas had fun juice options. My favorites were the peach and guava juices! This would be a perfect date spot and I'll 100% be returning.

Yelp
We quite enjoyed our Christmas staff dinner at Crouse sellers. The Vinnie was my favorite it's delicious treat creamy and just the right amount to fill my belly!

Yelp
Good experience. Very interesting selections of wines with a wonderful selection of foods. Had the cheese board that was wonderful. Also has the mushroom flatbread that was fantastic. Only questionable part with the service as the cheeeeboard was brought to the table and no one described what was there and finding out waitress was a bit challenging.

Yelp
My friends and I had a wonderful experience at Cru Cellars. When you enter, you see the wines displayed. As you continue on there's a nice bar and seating area. We kept walking and realized they had a cute outdoor seating area, which we love, so we sat outside. The host end up being our waiter. He was the best and made the experience more enjoyable! He gave us some great recommendations from the wine to the food. We had a great bottle of moscato, as pictured, to enjoy with our meal. We started with the loaded hummus, which was my favorite item! Then we ordered the chicken empanadas, Brussels sprouts, and truffle fries, which were all delicious. We definitely plan to go back again.

Yelp
Hadn't been back since it expanded, great food menu with a decent amount of vegetarian options, mostly appetizers, salads, flatbreads. Service was great, food came out pretty fast despite it being packed. It's a nice place for girls night, celebration, not too loud which is nice. All the dishes were good, definitely want to come back for happy hour when appetizers are half off!
google avatar

Yelp
We came on a Wednesday and were pleasantly surprised they had a wine tasting which were Austrian wines. There were 5 tastings and for $15 it was nice to try what they had! The food options are limited, I think it's more of a happy hour place than a dinner place. We ended up getting the mussels and a burger to share and it was tasty but overpriced. They also had a variety of wines for sale organized by country.

Yelp
Long-time customers. We have dined at the other locations for a while but had never been to the Palma Ceia location for brunch. We had a fantastic time at brunch. Our waitress was great. I was really impressed with the brunch options. The French styled omlette was chef's kiss. The shrimp and grits, which were also gluten-free, were also perfection. I have had shrimp and grits at a lot of restaurants, and a lot of them do not get it right. The eggs Benedict and cheese curds were also great. I highly recommend brunch at this location. This restaurant has a nice vibe, it wasn't busy, parking was easy and free and the food was great. This is one of the best brunches in Tampa.

Yelp
Cru Cellars is one of my favorite spots in Tampa! It's always my go-to when friends are in town, for brunch, happy hour, pre-dinner drinks, etc. The vibes are spot on, the food is delicious, and wine selection is awesome. Their cocktails are delicious for those who don't prefer wine. When I'm wanting happy hour, this is the place. They have great deals on apps, house wines, and some cocktails. The staff are always so friendly and give great recommendations. It's the perfect balance of fun and casual, yet feels a bit more upscale and curated than other spots.

Yelp
This wine bar was suggested by a wine connoisseur who said they also have good food and beer. Since we were in the mood for a burger and beer we decided to try it. Cru Cellars is definitely for wine lovers. There is a large selection They have wine tasting and wine classes as well. Our burgers and fries were delicious. The beer was good and cold. They serve cheese boards, small plates, salads, pasta, duck and steak. Not a large food menu but enough to satisfy most palates. It is a nice place to meet friends and talk over a good glass of wine or beer.

Yelp
My friend and I visited this little gem in Palma Ceia for brunch a couple of weekends back and both the food and service blew me away. Our server, Omar, went above and beyond to accommodate us with recommendations and his attentiveness. But what was even more impressive and is different about this little gem, is that Chef Jay came out and spent about 15 minutes with us going over multiple menu items for both, brunch and dinner. I opted in for Français - omelette (au fromage) with both lump crab and grilled shrimp added to it and it was so absolutely delicious! I would say a very generous portion, too! My friend chose the special from the evening before: the sausage gumbo. She said it was super tasty. For dessert we tried their Strawberry Shortcake concoction and O.M.G. - it melted in our mouth! Dinner menu looks so yummy so I cannot wait to go back to try it for dinner and pair with their amazing wine selection. Parking is easy to find, no need to figure out garage or valet - they have their own parking lot. Thank you, Chef Jay and Omar, for such fantastic treatment. We felt very special! Definitely recommend this lovely little place.

Yelp
Review for Pinot Camp. I'm not a wine lover, I just happened to belong to a family of wine lovers and be surrounded by friends who love wine. Therefore, I often find myself in situations where I have to drink wine and a lot of it. Do not take this review as if I'm a connoisseur of wine, but from my perspective, I loved this event. There were six tables serving six bottles of wine each (except for table six, which served five). For those of you who are good at math, yes this equaled 35 glasses of wine. This seemed very ambitious when I first saw the list, but thanks to slow pour devices that they put on the wine bottles (and that they said you can find on Amazon), it was very doable to try everything without having a headache the next day. They also served a bowl of paella. (The paella was pretty small, so if you go to one of these events, eat beforehand.) It was very crowded at first (if you know Cru, you know it is on the smaller side), but by 8:30 p.m. people had left and there was tons of space. The event went from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. and I'm surprised people didn't stay the whole time. However, it was a Wednesday night. We got there half an hour late at 7 p.m. and we found that we had to rush through the final table, but we did make it through almost 35 wines (they were out of a couple at table 3 by the time we made it. We did the tables out of order, so table 3 was our second to last table). Where this event really shines are the people pouring the wines. They are insightful and very personable. Cru Cellars knows how to hire good people. One of them gushed about her coworkers and the owners. I'm currently in the midst of a hiring frenzy for work and it is a lot harder than it seems to find people who fit your culture well. Cru Cellars seems to have mastered this. Five stars for the employees alone. If I lived closer, I would go to many more of these events. It was such a fun time. The people there all seemed wonderful and my friends and I coveted many trendy outfits. I would highly recommend checking this place, and one of these events, out.

Yelp
Sooo Cru Cellars is a lovely wine bar that can be a cute date night, friends meet-up, solo-dolo, or happy hour. They had a good selection of wine with tasting options. The bartender was very helpful in explaining the different wines to help make our selection easier. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed with eye-catching décor. This is a repeat option. What was ordered: Red flight / Loaded Hummus Loaded Hummus = wow why did I love that so much
google avatar

Candace S.

Yelp
I went to Cru Cellars for brunch on a Saturday and it was surprisingly pretty empty. I ordered the avocado toast and it was pretty tasty. It had a little bit of a kick to it but I'm not complaining. The host/server, Omar, was also very pleasant and offered excellent service! I plan on going back another day to try out their wine and other dishes.
google avatar

Kristyna F.

Yelp
Cru Cellars is a perfect girls night, date night spot. If you want to eat good food, and have delicious wine this is it. It's not a large restaurant at all. So, I wouldn't recommend going if you have a large party. I would say 6 or less. When seated the waitress walked us through the menu and also the wines they offer. There are so many wines to choose from so the flight is the way to go. I've been twice, the first time I had the bold and beautiful flight and second time I had the Somm flight. My wines were picked for me based off of my preferences. Fun experience because you don't know what you're going to get. Getting a charcuterie board is a must. It goes with the overall mood of the night. I would skip the flat bread, or was pretty small. The Brussels sprouts were amazing. I would absolutely recommend that. The empanadas were just okay, so I wouldn't recommend. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend!

Yelp
The food is amazing. We arrived at 5:50 on a Friday (I was happy, because happy hour ended at 6). The host was very accommodating and let us know they only had bar seating available because we didn't have a reservation. He asked a person already at the bar to move down so we could have 2 seats next to each other. While we were waiting I saw the happy hour menu at the host stand. He moved us over to the bar but didn't give us a happy hour menu, I had to ask the bartender for one. This rubbed me the wrong way a little, since we still had 10 minutes before happy hour ended. We ordered the Bahn Mi Noodle Bowl and Cru Burger. They were both fantastic. We've never tasted fish how it was prepared (super crispy on the outside but super moist inside) and my burger was the best I've had in a very long time. I highly recommend coming, the food was amazing.

Yelp
Absolutely love this little gem! Wonderful well curated menu, quite relaxing ambiance and excellent service. Well worth a visit.

Yelp
Such a hidden gem. I LOVE Cru Cellars! It's such a cozy spot with an amazing happy hour. I always get a glass (or two) of the $7 house white and split an app with a friend. Notable mentions go out to the cheese curds, bruschetta, and mushroom flatbread! They also have a cute wine shop with an abundance of options to choose from. Perfect place to stop if you need to pick up a bottle for dinner or as a gift for a friend.
google avatar

Yelp
Still on my burger quest. Decided to give Cru a try since several friends have mentioned it. The burger was pretty good. Cooked to order although a thin patty, kudos to the chef for being able to cook it medium rare. The bun was nice and crispy. Upgraded to the truffle fries which were yummo. However the star of the show was their fig and prosciutto flat bread. OMG it was amazing, and I don't particularly care for flat bread. The wine selection is pretty fab too. I will be back.

Yelp
Despite a couple of obvious issues, the wife and I had a substantial, flavorous and jovial meal. Once you get past the wrecthed looking floors and rickety seats the experience can be quite pleasing. Your first perception due to the ghastly flooring is that it's a dump. As you walk in a wine shop with the first row blocked by a bicycle. There is a counter with a register, some run-of-the-mill tables and chairs and unsightly boxes piled against the wall. Absolutely nothing at this point suggests that you are in for a good time. As you pass through a doorway there is a bar, some high seat tables and chairs and an outdoor seating area. This area looks much more pleasing. With advance notice we were able to get Chef Jay to prepare some dinner menu items for brunch. We shared a fabulous Charcterie Board chock full of delightful accoutrements, the wife had the Salmon and I had the Grouper Tacos. The food was fresh, tasteful and flavorsome. Omar helped us choose a wonderful Pinot Noir that was perfect for our meal and we had a great time. The stores wine selection was a pleasant surprise, nothing ordinary, I did not recognize a single bottle. Someone has taken the time to select a variety of wines that are very good to exceptional and very easy on the wallet. The staff can help you choose something delectible or you can participate in a wine tasting. The wine alone is worth a visit, just to discover something exotic and new.

Yelp
Reading in Tampa Magazine that the Cru Burger tied for 2nd place for Tampa's best burgers in a recent review, I had to test it out. The intent was a glass of wine and burger. The server quickly informed that Tuesday is a no corkage fee night. After telling her I brought no wine, she said to buy any bottle in the shop and they would serve it. After realizing I could buy a whole bottle for less than the two glasses we intended to order, I quickly said yes. You can take any unused wine home with you (turned out not needed). Cru is a combination Wine Bar, Wine Shop and Restaurant. Not a large menu but something for everyone. Cru Burger comes with aged cheddar, pickled red onions & remoulade, did not ask for additions or deletions - just took it as the chef prepared. It passed the test for me. Perfect ratio of bun to burger, reasonable size and with out a sugar sweet bun. Service was exceptionally friendly.

Yelp
I've always heard great things about Cru Cellars and last week I was finally able to pop in the Palma Ceia location and check it out; what a delicious experience! The atmosphere is small and cozy with multiple little rooms and a wine bar. If the space doesn't already give you a homey feel, the staff certainly will; they're incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Cru Cellars offers wine-by-the-glass, wine flights, and a retail selection of hand-made and organic & natural wine bottles. We started with the 7 piece Farmers Platter (option to choose 3, 5, or 7) which was just the right amount for a table of four.... or maybe we just really like cheese!! Regardless, definitely make sure to try the Sottocenere (cow, semi-firm, black truffle) I couldn't stop nibbling at it! The Bucatini Carbonara was a stand-out entree; so rich and creamy with a nice punch of garlic flavor. Also incredible was the the duck entree. The duck was great but the bed of Brussels sprouts it sat on is what really stole the show! They were fried with maple so they had a nice unique sweetness to them. I need all my Brussels sprouts to taste like this from now on! We had the bread pudding for dessert which was delicious and topped with their strawberry jam and fresh whipped cream.

Yelp
2nd time I NEEDED bubbly Cru Cellars, Morgan, hooked us up. 'Sorta' cava to start with a full bodied chard which paired amazingly with our clams and gamers board. Clams had a kick, but the sauce and the wine evened it out to perfection. The farmers plate, triple cream cheese, cheddar (with crunchies) and a spicy capicola were fun to mix and match flavor with our Som selection red wine tasting. Great wine picks, some enhancing the homemade strawberry jam or the honey and fig jam, the cor...baby pickles are so yummy. Then dinner , a shared steak with I need to know what they put in the chimichurri sauce, sauce was perfect. Took home the bread pudding with yet another great selection of vino from Morgan.

Yelp
Cute spot, great little patio, and a creative menu: small but tasty! The fig and prosciutto flatbread was probably my favorite thing we ordered: great drizzle of balsamic reduction and just a few bites split among 4 of us. The sauce on the salmon entrée is dynamite and the fall-apart tender duck confit with blackberry sauce and super crispy potatoes dauphin was a lesson in texture. Delish. Oh and the maple glazed brussel sprouts were cooked perfectly: lots of crunchy edges and no big barely cooked cabbage bites! They also do a good job on the tuna tartare, with crunchy wonton chips and lots of flavor drizzles on the plate. And the peri peri cauliflower is a neat take on buffalo cauliflower with the side of cambozola cream as an elevated bleu cheese dip. I missed having more spice but the batter and cook on it was perfect. (I demolished them.) We got a few flights and the wines we tried were ok but not mind blowing. I love that they rotate in new wines regularly and that you can also peruse/buy wines by the bottle to take home. Our server was good, but we had some attitude from the hostess when we asked to turn the fans on the patio off. (As they were wheeling out the heaters...?) In general, they did really well with a back to back sat section on a Friday night and the food came out fast and delicious!

Yelp
Cru cellars is a cute wine shop and restaurant in the Palma Ceia area of south Tampa. I've been a couple times and have always enjoyed the experience here. Their wine selection is very good and most times after dining, I end up leaving with a bottle! The truffle fries is something I recommend! My favorite thing on the menu along with the steak with béarnaise. The service is great here as well and the staff knows their wine and give great recommendations. Always make sure to look on the price though, because they will recommend a $30 glass of wine sometimes(I made that mistake once and spent almost $100 on wine) Overall, i would definitely recommend Cru Cellars for you next outing!

Yelp
Love this place, when someone asks me about my top picks for dinner in Tampa, Cru is always at the top of my list. They have a great wine menu, their food is fantastic, and the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. The restaurant is great for dinner, dates, or small groups. Definitely recommend their hummus appetizer, and for dinner you can't go wrong with the steak frites or short rib.Enjoy!

Yelp
The French toast was great! The cinnamon roll was also good. The place was smaller than I thought and it was quite chilly inside but overall I enjoyed it!

Yelp
This review is just based on bar service. Not very impressed with this particular establishment at Armature Works. I went here when it was in the late evening. It's a nice bar area, but overpriced and the service can be hit or miss even when not busy. The pours are okay and come in a plastic cup with a hard stop line of where to pour. It keeps it consistent, but I just prefer a glass instead. I'd just rather hit up one of the other bars while here. Just not my first pick.

Yelp
Loved our brunch here today! The food was incredible, and the service was amazing also! We had to try the award winning burger, and it did not disappoint! The empanadas were great and we loved the forager Benedict!

Yelp
Was hungry for steak tonight and I tried the steak frites at Cru w/fries. The steak was horrible, almost rancid, but not enough that I sent it back. If I go back there again, I will definitely get a hamburger. Wine was very good. Service was OK but the steak was horrible.

Yelp
Yesterday, we decided to check out Cru Cellars in south Tampa for brunch. I had heard the brunch menu was impressive and it did not disappoint. We made reservations at 11 and the restaurant filled up fast after they opened. They offered indoor & outdoor seating. We grabbed a table outside on the back patio. We started with a mix of coffee, mimosas, and wine. The wine selection had some great offerings. We looked over the menu and figured out what we wanted to eat. I went with the croque madame. My friends decided to go with the crab omelette and the banh mi benedict. Our food came out in decent time and it all looked great. We dove in and were not disappointed. The croque madame was perfect. My buddy said the banh mi benedict was super flavorful and he really enjoyed it. Both of my friends that had the omelette raved about it. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit. The food and service were on point. We really look forward to a return visit in the very near future.

Yelp
We ordered multiple small plates, one dish I wasn't even sure what to expect and it was amazing. Order a bunch for the table -even entrees and share, you'll thank me later. We didn't drink but seems to be a great selection. I would say our service was a tad inattentive but they were pretty busy. It's a small/quaintier type of atmosphere.

Yelp
Great date night spot. The ambiance is intimate and the attention to detail is on point from start to finish. Had carpaccio, steak frites, and a tartare. Look forward to coming back!
