Sat down and was handed menu’s with no explantation, after about 10 minutes we were explained the menu by a manager. Server came back and filled up waters and asked us if we wanted to get started with some glasses of wine and brought a 1oz cup of lobster bisque, for starters this was Valentine’s Day and there was a set menu, which is no problem but the options were not good. It was a 4 course meal for $65, starting with the lobster bisque, this was by far the worst lobster bisque I have ever had in my life, it was served in essentially a fancy shot glass that was extremely impractical to eat out of, second course was apps, this was probably the best part of the meal which isn’t saying much, my girlfriend got the lobster ravioli and she’s not a huge lobster fan and said she liked it, I got the crab cake which was an extremely small portion, quite tasteless but wasn’t awful. Next course was the entrees, I got the Chilean sea bass and my girlfriend got the filet. First off the Chilean sea bass was pretty awful but wasn't the worst thing I’ve ever had, very salty and nothing to it besides salt, my girlfriend was not asked how she would like her steak cooked so it was prepared rare (cold red center) which she usually eats medium rare, but being that the steak was completely unseasoned it was very hard for her to eat on top of the fact that the potato stack on the plate she said seems reheated before being served, neither of us finished our entrees. Lastly, the deserts, I got a raspberry brûlée which was not even bruleed on top and tasted very bad, she got a chocolate cake which was not the best but pretty underwhelming. On top of this our server was not very helpful and after taking our order didn’t say a word to us besides dropping the check. For $180 (without the 20% we left) we could have ate almost anywhere else that would’ve tasted better and been a better overall experience, we understand valentines was busy, but this was a extremely disappointing experience as we traveled in from out of town for dinner reservations.
