The London Delivery & Takeaway Directory - London - The Infatuation

"This little spot in Fitzrovia is serving some inexpensive, fresh ceviche. You can choose from their signature bowls or build your own here." - Heidi Lauth Beasley, Jake Oliver, Rianne Shlebak

Crudo Cevicheria Review - Fitzrovia - London - The Infatuation

"Crudo is a quick little ceviche place in Fitzrovia that’s well worth taking a slight detour off of Oxford Street for if you’re looking for a fast, inexpensive and kind-of-healthy tasting lunch or early evening meal. The options are fairly straight-forward, and if you’ve ever built your own salad or poké bowl, you should know the drill. Just be sure to add the lightly grilled sweet potato to whatever bowl you make." - Oliver Feldman

The food and drink was incredible, the guacamole was the best I've ever had! I felt like we were pushed to try the tasting menu which was quite expensive and would've been way too much food, but otherwise everything was great!

We organised a private party at Crudo. The owner is such a lovely guy and hid team are brilliant! The food is delicious and the drinks are amazing. The chef is a warm and sweet woman that makes everything by heart and you can tell because everything tastes yummy! The barman guy polite, professional and always smiling. I highly recommend. Simply an amazing experience.

Didn’t think a casual work lunch would feel like a nice sit down dinner but that’s exactly how it felt. Background music for the ambiance, but wasn’t too loud. Ceviche was mixed in nicely with a plethora of healthy and fresh options. The price felt extremely reasonable and portions appropriate. I went with the sea bass ceviche. If you’re feeling hungry order an extra portion of fish. Also tip of the hat to the sweet potato and fried corn. Very Peruvian.

This is a one month overdue review of an amazingly creative newly opened restaurant. Order ahead a lunch bowl for take away and I promise Crudo will be your favorite lunch stop.

I genuinely don’t understand why the rating is so high (4.9 until this point). I’m not saying the food and service was bad, instead what they serve was decent. However, I would like to point out a few areas for improvement: 1. Waiting time. I ordered the tasting menu with 6 courses. Unfortunately, I have to complain that the interval between each course was inconsistent. We were served with the second course only 1 minute after finishing the starter. However, we waited for literally 30 minutes between fourth and fifth course. 2. Food sharing. Please take note that each course will be served in one plate for sharing. Here I’m not saying that sharing a dish is bad. In fact, I appreciate that in many cultures people share a dish (e.g. sharing a char siu platter in a Cantonese restaurant). HOWEVER, I don’t think the food they serve is suitable for sharing. Imagine three people sharing a chunk of Browne cake… and three people sharing one bowl of rice… Luckily I have my dinner with my best friends. Imagine sharing a piece of sea bass with your workmate… THATS JUST AWKWARD. To be honest, I suppose people only share those easily separable dishes across all cultures. For example it’s just weird for people to share a steak or a bowl of soup… 3. Inconsistency of food portion. This is definitely the sequela of “food sharing”. For the fourth course, three of us got one piece of fish. However, the two gentlemen sitting next to me also got the same thing. Then what’s the point of ordering tasting menu for 3? We can literally order food for 2 people and get the same dish with the same portion. Again, that’s why your food shouldn’t be served together! 4. Inconsistency in seasoning. For example, the three pieces of tuna tartar we got have different amounts of avocado… The salt in sea bass was not fully melted… Well time to sleep… lazy to polish my language and type more. Anyway, for those who wish to come, good luck…

This is a great cozy restaurant! Everything was delicious. Diego was awesome and gave us really good recommendations on what to order. My favourite dish was the Octopus! It blowed my mind! Definitely will come back!
