Crudo Pizza & Panuozzo

Google
We got the mortadella and meatball, which is available on Thursdays only. They were both really good. The bread wasn't too much. It was fresh and had a nice crunch. The only critique is that the meatball wasn't warm enough to melt the cheese on it (see photo). So it was just a solid slice of cheese on top, instead of melted on the meatballs. Other than that it was all delicious and I will return. Thanks Crudo!

It was disappointing . The quality of the ingredients was good, and the bread was fresh and high quality as well. The portion size was huge and very filling, but unfortunately, it lacked flavor. Considering the price, I expected much better taste. The cold cuts had almost no flavor, the cheese was tasteless, and even the pistachios didn’t add any noticeable taste. It felt like the focus was more on quantity than flavor. Overall, good-quality ingredients, but the food was bland and not memorable in terms of taste.

Great experience at here at Crudo Pizza and Panuozzo. Lara was amazing. She provided great customer service and we were seated fairly quickly. The sandwiches were pretty filling and they were fresh as well. The place was a bit crowded and the areas where seated was not super clean but overall, great spot to get nice meal and enjoy. Ordered the Estate Panuozzo and Favoloso Panuozzo.

Not worth the hype. Great idea with freshly baked bread. Eggplant in veal sandwich was rubbery and hard to bite. Bread got mushy right away and no chance to eat it as sandwich, pretty messy. Veal was ok. Parking is whole adventure

This establishment provides an exceptional dining experience, excelling in food quality, service, and cleanliness. I was immediately impressed by the high standard of hygiene. The entire restaurant, including the open cooking stations, was immaculate, and the kitchen staff operated with visible professionalism and care. The service was equally outstanding. The staff was remarkably friendly and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere that makes you feel like a valued regular, even on a first visit. The food itself was the clear highlight. Every dish was delicious and showcased incredible freshness, particularly the perfectly sliced meats—nothing tasted pre-prepared or dated. While photographs don't do the meal justice, we thoroughly enjoyed our selections: Margherita Pizza Mortadella Panuozzo A custom sandwich with turkey, spicy salami, and roasted potatoes I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking a high-quality, fresh meal in a genuinely welcoming environment.

Finally got to try the meatball sandwich! Ordered right at noon online for a pick up and was able to eat inside as there were some tables available. The meatballs were huge, nice flavour and perfect texture. Order early as they were sold out by 1:30 a must try!!

Drove 1.5 hours to finally try this place out after seeing all over TikTok!!! The cafe crema was an amazing little dessert treat. Pizza was delicious but the crust. The crust!! I don’t eat crust but this one I did 😍 Sandwich was packed with mortadella, lots of pistachio sauce and tons of cheese. Again, the bread!!!! Brought a tuna pizza home for tomorrow and the mortadella pizza for a friend. Who said it was the closest pizza to a New York pizza she’s ever had. Delicious food, comfortable seating, and the young lady serving us was lovely and patient while I tried to make up my mind. Missed out on the meatball sandwich we wanted, but will go back earlier next time.

Every panuozzo you order is with freshly baked pizza dough . They are very generous with the ingredients and for $20, it's a pretty big sandwich. I was only able to finish half so you could definitely share. Only down side was it didn't have any sauce in it, so it lacked a lot of flavors despite having fresh ingredients. It would be perfect if they added pesto/truffle paste or any sauce really. Otherwise it just tastes like a caprese salad.

Yelp
Best Neopolitan style pizza in the Greater Toronto Area, hands down. This gem is hidden in a tiny plaza in Etobicoke and almost always lined up outside the door during dinner time. Tastes like Italy and evokes memories of Nonna. Will add pics next time as the pizzas were gobbled up before I could snap them. Have heard great things about the Panuozzo's too but haven't tried them because the pizza is too good.

Yelp
June 6/2025: Lupper with the Al. This is a tiny little restaurant in the heart of Etobicoke that's busy as all get out! Line ups out the door & very little seating capacity as well. I had the Mortadella Panuozzo with pistachio cream sandwich ($22.99). Had fresh arugula & sun-dried tomatoes on it. Sandwich was big & very tasty. Loved the toasted bread. I found they were a little light on the toppings but heavy on the arugula, makes it look full & big. The other was the Calzone ($21.99) with mushrooms, couple of different cheeses & ham smothered in a red tomato sauce. Very delicious & a good size. Place was super busy with a friendly ambiance. The service was very slow. Took us over an 1/2 hour to get service. I'd definitely do this again but at a non busy time. Couldn't get a parking space in the lot!

Yelp
There is so much hype surrounding this place since TikTok and for good reason. Their Panuozzos are good, they make their own bread in house and each sandwich is made to order. However there is always an insane wait even when you order for pick up with assigned time. The wait time that they give you at the counter is not accurate and is often double. It is always busy here so be prepared! Their weekday specials are really good, but hard to justify the wait times.

Yelp
Amazing!!! I'm on the keto diet and after seeing their videos on instagram I knew my cheat meal would be here and the did not disappoint...I had the mortadella panuozzo and wow I was absolutely amazed how delicious it was thanks so much for a delicious cheat 5

Yelp
This place is super famous, and since it's a bit tricky to get to, I decided to take a weekday off for a visit. Short review: Totally worth the hype! We were three adults and ordered two dishes, but we got so full we couldn't finish it all. We went with the mortadella pistachio sandwich and the diavolo pizza, and both were incredible. The sandwich was huge, so honestly, we could've just ordered that and been satisfied, but since it's hard to get here, we tried the pizza too. And it did not disappoint. Both were super tasty, and the service was friendly. The restaurant was clean, and while it was quite busy and loud (which is understandable), the quality of the food was totally worth it. The prices were very reasonable, and we loved that they didn't add a tip! It felt so nice! I'd definitely come back if I get the chance.

Yelp
I am starting 2025 with a bang. The place is in the back of a plaza, and expect a big wait, as it looks like a local favourite. It's a very small pizza shop that seats under 20 people. This place caught my attention after seeing a random video on Instagram. The menu is very minimal (Pizza and Panuozzo) with daily specials like the Porchetta that I got on a Friday. I would come back for their veal on Tuesday when I get a chance. I ordered several sandwiches and one thing for sure, I never knew how big these sandwiches were. You can at least split a sandwich with two people and be filled. The portions on each sandwich are so generous with the bread so soft on the inside with a nice bite to it. They make their bread on-site. The Mortadella is a sandwich you must try if you're a first-time customer. That meat was very uncanny from other sandwich spots I've tried. Even the Prosciutto Parma was incredible. I would come back and make my sandwich. Even though the wait is long, the service is great, very helpful staff and they tell you what they think of each sandwich.

Yelp
The Pqnuozzi are everything they're made out to be. Nite that the restaurant is at the backside of the building. The ONLY knock against this fabulous eatery is it's popular and you may have a wait. But for me and Mom (old school Italian Nonna), it was worth the quality of the delicious sandwiches served up in generous portions.

Yelp
The sandwich and pizzas hit. Lowkey location with big bang pizza and panuzzo! Mangia.

Yelp
I unfortunately don't have a photo of the actual sandwiches because my hubby and I attacked the as soon as we saw them! The "bun" comes out of the oven hot and steamy and they slice it open to stuff it with fillings they slice in front of your eyes. They're massive. They're gorgious! The place is not big but fills up so quickly. The vibe is great! The line up is out the building. They will close up before their closing hours because they run out of food. The guys are charming and they hustle hard. All with a good reason. It's worth it.

Yelp
Have heard a lot of hype about this place so finally tried it out for lunch. We went on a Thursday - meatball panuozzo is only available on Thursdays. The restaurant is fairly small and located at the back of the plaza. There's a small patio and the restaurant is bright and clean inside. Parking was tough to find as it was lunchtime and very busy. We were able to order pretty quickly and were told it would be about 30 minutes so we left and came back. The lineup was even bigger when we returned. We ended up waiting another 35 minutes and had to ask a few times about our order - it looked like people who'd arrived after us but were seated in the restaurant were being given priority o er takeout orders. That was quite frustrating. Luckily the panuozzo was really tasty. I'd try some other options from the menu in the future but wouldn't wait so long again. The food is good but they need to work out their order management system to fill orders more efficiently.

Yelp
This is a bit of a hidden gem in a small strip mall off Royal York north of LaRose. Sign on the outside but have to walk in through a hallway where you will find it in the back. Food (4/5) - it seems to be more popular for sandwiches than pizza but I'm more a pizza connoisseur so decided to try out the Margherita. It's a Napoli style which I like although you can tell from my reviews I prefer hybrid Napoli NYC styles. Overall good crust and cooked surprisingly well in a deck oven vs wood burning stove. San Marzano sauce had just right amount tang. Buffala mozz was fresh. For context I would rate it similar to Goodfellas and ahead of Dino's. Service (4.75/5) - very fast and friendly. Seems like a lot of locals and regulars. Atmosphere (4/5) - not much too it... small but clean and quaint with 7 tables. Guessing they get more takeout. Music in background. Overall (4.25/5) - I will come back and try the sandwiches which seems to be the big draw. Worth checking out for sure... not a lot of great options in the neighborhood besides LaRose Bakery. Update: came back to try the sandwiches and was very impressed! Had the Il Crudo sandwich. One of the best Italian sandwiches I've had in GTA. They fresh bake the ciabatta for each sandwich and it comes out light and airy. 10 inches wide across two pieces. Fresh sliced Prosciutto with fresh arugula and Fior di Latte, tomatoes and balsamic glaze also options but I didn't choose. Updating my Food rating to 4.5 for sandwiches, and overall rating to 4.5 as well. I will be back to try the other 6 sandwiches. Definitely worth checking out this hidden gem in central Etobicoke!

Yelp
Had the Il Crudo sandwich - it is a thick layer of tomatoes, arugula and prosutto on a thin toasted bun. It is a very hefty sandwich and easily enough for two people. Service is a little indifferent and wait time is quite long when they are not that busy.

Yelp
Tried for the first time after seeing videos about their sandwiches (Panuozzo). Ordered in store and waited around 50min to 1hr. I ordered the il crudo and mortadella. Portions were generous but it was like $20 before tax. The taste was also pretty good and everything was freshly made to order. Personally, idk if I would wait an hour for a sandwich but I do see why people like this spot.

Barry W.

Yelp
I tried it once and it was amazing! The only turnoff was that it was a pickup order and the payment device still asks for a tip.

Yelp
These Paesanos are Absolute Amazing at what they do!!! Such delicious Art of the pizza pies & pannuozzos they create = Beautifully made! Authentic Napolitanos. Great personalities, every time we come once a month, it always feels like we are in Italy again. The whole pizza covers the plate, and their pannuozzos are HUGE. We always have the rest to take home. Huge generous quality servings. Definitely, A must try. Ample seating/tables available. Clean, spacious, and Italian decor. Plenty of free parking. Amazing atmosphere... and the upbeat Italian music playing all the time makes you happy, I wanna dance as I find myself Shazaming their playlists. I love this place. You can thank me later. You're welcome . Enjoy.

Yelp
Amazing - these sandwiches are HUGE and soooooo good. I would reccomend the salame or the mortadella. They STUFF them and the staff are so wonderful. Please go here! It's such a family spot.

Yelp
Didn't like the sandwiches, they kind of felt dry and bland. maybe the pizza is good.

Yelp
If I could put zero stars I would. I am absolutely appalled by my experience with this restaurant. I placed an order at 11 AM, expecting to have a meal delivered in a timely manner as it was for lunch at a workplace. Fast forward to 12:30 PM, and I had yet to receive any notification or update about the status of my order. At that point, I was told that my delivery would arrive sometime between 12:55 PM and 2:17 PM--what kind of range is that?? That's over an hour, and no one can even provide a more accurate timeframe? Naturally, I tried calling the restaurant multiple times to get some clarity on the situation, but no one picked up. After 45 minutes of trying to reach someone, I finally got a hold of a staff member, and not only did they give me zero information about when my order would be ready, but the attitude I received was beyond unacceptable. I was told that there was "no designated time" for my delivery, which made absolutely no sense. I get that things can get busy, but if you're running behind, just give the customer a realistic timeline instead of being rude. To make matters worse, the poor Uber driver who was trying to deliver the food told me the restaurant was packed and that they hadn't given him any idea when my order would be ready. It was clear that the staff didn't care about any of the logistics or the poor drivers who had to deal with the chaos. At this point, I thought about going to pick up the food myself, hoping to avoid further delays. When I called again at 1:15 PM to check if I could pick it up directly, I was told the food would be "ready in 5-10 minutes"--which is laughable, considering I ordered it at 11 AM. I only ordered six sandwiches and one pizza...Subway even delivers faster. This is especially disappointing for a place that's supposedly well-regarded. The complete lack of communication, poor customer service, and general disregard for the customer experience has completely ruined my impression of this restaurant. Never again.

Rock B.

Yelp
Once again Instagram influencers have lead me astray. This place kinda sucked if I'm being honest. Pizza was a 4/10 for me. Sauce lacking any sort of real flavor. Nothing remarkable about the cheese either. I added some expensive olive oil to the top which was honestly a waste of olive oil. To top it off my pizza was stone cold by the time I got it home and I'm a 5 minute drive from the place. My wife even commented "did they take this out of the fridge. I laughed and threw my slice in the trash. In the words of Kamala Harris: We're not going back.

Tyler C.

Yelp
It was a disappointing pizza to be honest, I don't think I'd ever go back, plus the atmosphere made you feel very out of place, once we got the food and gave a 25% tip the guy behind the counter seems hostile and didn't say thank you, the pizza was soggy and I ended up throwing out the 2nd slice I tried to eat, tossed the rest of the pie, wouldn't recommend.
