"Crunchik’n is a Midtown Village spot where wings come slathered in nine sauces like soy garlic and Korean bbq, but somehow they’re never soggy. If you want something fiery, go for the volcano option that has a serious and lingering heat. The wings are on the smaller side (almost like nuggets), but we like them that way because we can eat a lot of them." - Candis R. McLean

I usually go to the other location but happy to report that the Temple location still has the same high quality I’ve come to expect from Crunchik’n! Love their dumplings so so much! Great flavor and they stay crisp even when I get takeout Also don’t forget to check out their fried chicken, crunch dogs, japchae, and bowls too

I tried this restaurant because it had high reviews, but the actual taste is no different from the fried chicken bentos sold in supermarkets, and it's even worse. The fried chicken was not juicy at all, the vegetables that came with it were not tasty, the vermicelli stuck together, and there was very little rice. I don’t know why it has so many good reviews.

Got the Spicy Honey Soy Popcorn Chicken. Chicken had little to zero breading/batter on it. At least one or two pieces was completely naked and masked with sauce. Even just speaking on the pieces that were breaded, it was not like the typical crunchy crispy Korean chicken at all. Not only that, chicken was dry. Sauce was also subpar in my opinion. Said to be spicy but was not at all, overall weak in flavor. Fries were good though. Food is not worth what it costs. For $11 I was expecting it to be a lot better. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe it was a bad batch. Nonetheless, I feel as though consistency is pretty important. Open to trying other items but definitely not anything with the chicken.

I am not sure is this place is franchise or not🤷🏾‍♀️ The Center City location is wayyyyy better. I would not recommend this location. Chicken had a brunt taste. The rice was wet yet gummy and watery tasting. My crunch dog was greasy with clumps of sugar. The overall restaurant needs a good cleaning. (I shld have snapped a few pix) The young lady taking the orders was pleasant.

Ive eaten from here only 3 times and only 3 different items off the menu. I tried this spot out of curiosity after walking by it 2 times and off of a whim walking in was the bulgogi taco. That turned out great and generally I only eat tacos from taquerias mexicanas or like home cooked. This was really good imo. The 2nd time I had their popcorn chicken bowl which I loved alot. So the third time I get the bulgogi rice bowl and I think thats probably my favorite so far. It's funny because I generally don't like beef in most meals but loved it here. I also really loved the fact that I didn't feel bad after eating each of the 3 times from there. Normally my stomach doesn't mesh well with foods I'd eat from most restaurants. However eating here I feel the same way I feel eating food I cook at home it doesn't upset my stomach I feel good and satisfied. I've usually just accepted that eating out I'll just feel it later but didn't have that problem so on top of tasting good my body doesn't feel like it rejects it like when I'd eat fast food or from other places. At least with those 3 meals. Also the staff are really nice friendly.

I would like to call myself a frequent flyer here lol. Not even on the fact that I might have eaten everything on their menu, I think 🤔. It’s more on the fact that this place was like a breath of fresh air, providing new interesting foods that I never had before. I always say to try something at least once, so I did and was instantly hooked. Had to keep coming back for more, and if I didn’t know what type of dish I was getting myself into, the staff was very patient in explaining everything. Going as far as letting me know the process of how something’s were cooked, well food is knowledge. Here you’re able to digest both, fill up on it, and try something new. In my experience, I have never been disappointed, so come and catch a vibe.

Love this place so much, I literally dream about the crunchdog. Nicest people and super fresh ingredients!!

Google
Look like a Bunch of left over food from last night. Cold Little white rice, topping with cold plain Japchae, cold/dry steam bulgogi beef instead of grill. I paid for extra for kimchi and they add maybe 5 pieces. Zero vegetable if I don’t order extra kimchi. I won’t recommend eating this place if you are looking for Korean food.

Yelp
I came here with a friend who has sesame allergy. The staff patiently made a call to find out which dish didn't have sesame. I really appreciate the effort and attention to accommodate his needs. The popcorn chicken wasn't as crunchy as expected. They didn't have a plastic knife, which we needed to split the corn dog. I'm not sure if it's on purpose or they were out of it that day. The trash can was overflowing. Several seats were not properly set up.

Yelp
At first glance it looks like just another fried chicken takeout place. However it's much more than that! This is a Korean chicken joint and the menu reflects it. The "base" seems to be popcorn chicken with your choice of sauce. You then decide what platform to choose; from basic chicken with French fries to tacos to a rice bowl with vegetables... the varied selection of dishes makes this a great spot for a quick bite that does not feel like fast food. Definitely will go back.

Yelp
The fries were Perfect, I got the Deluxe Sandwich. Wouldn't change a thing! If you go there order the fries, trust me!

Yelp
I looooovvve this place! They advertise a lot of Temple campus which definitely does them good (shout out to the yellow chicken guy!). I started coming here more consistently in the past few weeks because of their spicy popcorn chicken and white rice. The volcano sauce is very spicy, especially if you're not used to spicy foods, but I love it! I usually get a kid's popcorn chicken, but there's never been once that they haven't given me extra chicken. Everything is always hot and fresh, and the workers are friendly no matter what time of day it is. I can't wait to try the boba smoothies once they come back in stock!

Yelp
Had the chicken and the Korean corndogs. The sauces were on point, and the corndog was really delicious. You can tell they make everything from scratch. Definitely recommend if you're in the Temple area. I make a stop every time I'm there!

Yelp
I'm normally not one to complain but I was very disappointed with this establishment. When I first walked in I waited a good amount of time for someone to even take my order, once they finally did it took me about 20 minutes to get my food when all I had ordered was a rice bowl and dumplings. I watched them fill other orders in the back while mine still had not been done. The dumplings were so bland and the sauce was weird. The rice bowl my bulgogi was over cooked and all The japche was stuck together and again flavorless. I would like to come back and try the corn dogs and will change my review if my experience is better.

Yelp
This place is so good !! I tried finding the Korean corn dogs for long! I think it definitely is worth the drive.

Yelp
I ordered my food online and when I was there to pick it up on time, I was met with disrespect and no food. Not only did the staff not prepare the food in a reasonably timely manner, I was ignored by the staff in a completely empty restaurant. The people here are completely rude and even if the food was good, I would not patronize this business again. I wish I could give a 0/5 rating because that is what they deserve. P.S : The owner of the restaurant has not reached out to any of the people who have had bad experiences here. Do better.

Yelp
This is the best place for Korean fried chicken- hands down. The chicken is always so flavorful, crispy, and juicy- I always want to go back for more the flavors are truly authentic and the service is soooo good. Can't wait to go back for more!

Yelp
I arrived when the website said it would be ready. I stood in the empty restaurant for over a whole minute before anyone acknowledged me. When I was told to wait for my food I politely said ok. When it was taking longer than the employee told me it would take I asked again how long it would be. Which then caused the employee to produce an outburst that was rude and unprofessional. I couldn't believe how I was being treated as a customer and left. I met harry at subway and had an incredible meal and was treated like a human. I called for my refund, and the same employee gave me a hard time before I was able to get MY money back.

Daniel C.

Yelp
The food was not ready when it was supposed be. The staff was disrespectful to most customers. Quite disappointing.

Richie Y.

Yelp
Best Korean Fried Chicken around. Not too many other Korean places near Temple. Even less places with Korean Corndogs.

Jen H.

Yelp
Amazing staff as well as a comforting atmosphere! The food I get is absolutely delicious and it makes me want to crave more. The wait time was about the same time at any fast food, just a little longer because I know they make sure the food they put out is well made and tendered to be delicious. Was treated well. I can't wait to return again.

Yelp
I like getting the chicken and noodle combo with fruit tea boba. The staff are friendly and helpful when trying to decide from the many options.
