This is an all natural wine store with a fantastic selection. The customer service was excellent, and the 2009 Le Moutherot was recommended to match my palate. Alas, on opening, the cork crumbled, and I was compelled to operate on pulling the cork out with finite precision.
After the success of this procedure, I aired the wine for a few hours. The wine had turned. It was not stored well. I am sure the proprietor will blame me, a dumb American, who knows nothing about wine. Yet, although I am not a sommelier, I know wine due to my former years creating wine lists for restaurants in the US city of Milwaukee. This bottle of 2009 Le Moutherot is turned and way past any prime.
My experience with Crus et Decouverts is my experience, and thus please judge for yourself. This may very well be a “one time” error.
