One of my fave spots in Oak Lawn — the energy is always 10/10. The owners and bartenders are amazing, super welcoming, and the drinks are not only delicious but also come with the cutest decorations. The drag queens always turn it out, and the sound system eats. And let’s be real — the bathroom mirrors are the most iconic in the gayborhood. Colorful, fun, and full of good energy — Crush never misses. 💖🌈

Looks like this continues to happen to several people as well. I guess if the bartenders don’t think your young enough or hot they rip you off! Bartender charged us $12 for a happy hour drink. I went to the bathroom and saw the happy hour sign. Come on sorry I’m not 25 but don’t rip me off. We paid cash and the bartender didn’t offer me a free round. He instead said he would charge me $4 for the next round.

I will never not recommend crush as one of my favorite gay bars in DFW!!! From the amazing handcrafted drinks, to the talented queens! Let’s not forget about the RU-girls!!! Crush is one of the best bars I’ve ever been to. Its picture perfect aesthetic is so pleasing to the eye. I built the most amazing memories and made such great connections here. The events and the crowd will always be on top. The owners and amazing workers have my whole heart!!! If you don’t go to crush what are you even doing in Dallas?!

I know the oners will probably get this review deleted but I came in today a Tuesday night during the Christmas pop up with a decent sized group. We were Pretty excited about the drinks and the atmosphere and decoration, but quickly turned off by the Bartender service and cleanliness of the bar. When we came in, there were empty glasses all over all of the tables and bar. There were also no employees to help guide what was going on. As I don’t care too much about the glasses, but we cared about was the fact that the bartender never approached us after waiting at the bar for at least 15 to 20 minutes. . We never got approached we never got smiled that we never got created. We never got any of those things and we felt like the bartender did not care about our comfortability and our experience at this “”holiday pop up” i’ve been loyal to this bar since they opened and have given them multiple chances but something is always weird about how they do things. I hope they get their act together soon.

I had an amazing first experience at this club — so much so that I came back a second time and brought 7 friends with me. We stayed until almost closing and had a blast both times. The energy is fun, the vibe is unique, and it definitely stands out as a great little hidden gem. However, I’m giving 3 stars because of how a recent event was handled. During a themed night, there was a Kesha singalong competition where the winner (my niece) was supposed to receive tickets. Despite being announced as the winner, they were never contacted or given the promised concert tickets. We’ve reached out through calls, emails, comments, and direct messages (to the club and even ownership) hasn’t resulted in any response. So, if you're looking for a quirky spot with a good atmosphere and don’t mind the occasional hiccup in event follow-through, this could still be a fun choice. Just manage expectations when it comes to promotional promises.

Have been coming here since early july of this year and have already felt like family every time I go. Thank you for providing a fun safe place for beautiful queer people!

I came to this gay bar expecting inclusivity, community, and respect—what I got instead was the complete opposite. For a space that claims to celebrate diversity, the energy felt shockingly selective. The irony? A place built on fighting discrimination seemed very comfortable practicing it. The vibe turned cold the moment Nicki Minaj’s music came on—eye rolls, comments, and an obvious shift in attitude. It was giving racial bias disguised as “preference.” Let’s be clear: disliking an artist is one thing, but the way Black culture and Black femininity were treated in this space felt dismissive and uncomfortable. A bar that profits off being “inclusive” while making certain people feel unwelcome needs to do some serious self-reflection. Until then, I’ll be spending my money somewhere that actually means the word inclusive. Do better.

Bartender over charged me for well drinks on 8/6/2025, around 7:30pm, for happy hour with DWC. I was charged $12 when well drinks are ADVERTISED as $3.50. While not advertised, my friend was charged $6 for plain soda/coke. That's too much on a slow Wednesday night. We asked about the pricing and the handsome bartender said Special pricings are NOT for groups. We both left, feeling taken advantage of. Hopefully the owner sees this and re-train staff

Yelp
Was finally able to come here and was excited to see the place in person. Unfortunately I was very underwhelmed and embarrassed I brought friends here. As someone that also has worked in this industry for almost two decades you guys have room to improve. This isn't a harsh criticism so please take to heart what I have to say. I have operated bars and I currently own 4 that are all doing very well. You guys need to change the drinks, they are filled with sugar currently with lack of flavor and I didn't see many people getting a 2nd drink. If they did it was something different off the menu to try. If the drinks aren't good people will not stay. The signature drinks must be a hit because you can go anywhere for a vodka tonic. I can help you with some creative delicious recipes that do work. The goal is getting customers to order that 2nd drink at least. The bathrooms were horrible all night, no one is watching or cleaning them. Need one of the five bartenders behind the bar not doing something to take this on as their side work. This was honestly when we decided to leave because it was embarrassing to see how bad they were. Need better seating set up. The high tops smashed to the side of the walls doesn't work. Put a rail up on the wall so people can put their drinks down without needing a table. Put some tables in the back for those that don't want to be by the stage and the louder music. You guys already did great with the golf cart to bring people from the normal gay bar stretch to you and entertainment you book is great! Keep someone on the "bull ride" to encourage others to try it. This makes you unique to the other bars in the area to make you stand out for more fun. Finally you both as owners are a huge draw physically looking as you know, so when people come here and you aren't there especially on a weekend they are already disappointed to not have that eye candy. You both are the main reasons people come here, let's be honest.
