Where to Find Really Good Pie in Las Vegas

"Serving all things pie — pizza, chicken pot, and dessert — this pie shop specializes in bold flavors and buttery crust. Each of its fruit pies is topped with a pretty lattice crust that is only improved upon by adding a scoop of ice cream." - Janna Karel

We recently revisited Crust N Roux following its exciting menu revamp and bar addition, and the experience was fantastic. As always, our family was delighted by the fresh and perfectly executed dishes. The avocado egg rolls were a standout, offering a crunchy exterior and vibrant, fresh flavors. The Caprese pizza was exceptional, boasting the best crust in town and an unbelievable taste. We also enjoyed the flavorful Asian crunch sandwich and a refreshing Greek salad. To finish, the handcrafted margaritas were fresh and delicious. The friendly and attentive staff provided excellent service, adding to our overall enjoyment. Crust N Roux continues to impress with its innovative menu, superb quality, and exceptional service.

Google
Wonderful restaurant, with fantastic quality pizza and a great selection of craft beers! We had a wonderful time, and I can understand some of the reviews why people aren't into the pies, but I think the blueberry pie was great! Uniquely in their own style, chunkier (not runny) filling and quite flavorful! The pie crust could use some work on flakiness and less dense but still a fan! The pizza crust was what really brought everything together, I can still taste it! Keep up the great work! Service was super attentive and will definitely return!

This pizza place Crust and Roux is the spot if you love pizza I got the Sicilian and added mushroom, olives, bell peppers and onions the crust was buttery and taste phenomenal every bite of this pizza was made from scratch the quality of ingredients will make you definitely want to eat here. The 9 inch apple pie was from scratch I could taste the difference. They have modern contemporary decor in the restaurant looking around this is a great place for birthday parties and get-togethers for my out of town friends visiting. I don’t think any taste buds could find anything wrong with pie made from scratch both pizza and regular pies are wonderful it’s the taste of all the fresh ingredients that sold me on this place. Finally got to try this place. I would say they do have one of the best pot pies in town. But I advised you order it as soon as you sit down- it takes 30 minutes as it's freshly made. But totally worth the wait. We also enjoyed their pizzas. There are three sizes. The largest one is worth getting as you can split the pizza. We tried the Roux and Sicilian. If you like white sauce- the roux was delicious. My friend ordered a small Hawaiian pizza that we demolished. The crust of the pizza alone is delicious. Make sure to make room for dessert. Really enjoyed a warm strawberry pie. Service is great. They followed up on our table and gave us refills on our drinks. Place is clean. Lots of parking. Perfect place to meet people coming in from the airport. Will definitely come back and try the other pies and dessert.

Google
Wow, this place is phenomenal!!! The ingredients are very fresh. Even the crust is good! The owner was there while we were dining and he was very nice. The staff was very nice as well. The restaurant has a bit of a sports bar feel to it, but more stylish. I ordered a Sicilian pizza, a slice of apple pie with ice cream and had water. Everything was good. I think my bill was $43. I had plenty of leftovers to bring home. So I’m having pizza for dinner tomorrow. I will definitely visit this place again.

Google
OMG tasty pizza, especially the crust! Great variety of pizzas with a lot of toppings and cheese. Yummy flavors; and did I mention the crust? The chef told me he imports his flour from Italy! The chicken pot pie, apple pie, and blueberry pie were all excellent. Nice big interior with lots of seating. Fountain drinks, beer & wine are available. I look forward to bringing my family back to this place!

Google
Wow. What a dynamite experience. I was in town for the weekend and my friends said they had to bring me to this spot. They were absolutely right. We stuffed ourselves and left with tons of leftovers! We enjoyed a huge pie. It was called The Spicy Rosa. Shrimp, Scallops, Mushrooms, Green Onions, Chili Flakes and a blend of their Roux & Red Sauce! Fresh, delicious and filling. We also ordered a large Gumbo Pot Pie. This thing was made fresh to order and was an absolute monster, bursting with flavor, unlike anything I’ve ever had before. We finished off with a very generous slice of very tasty strawberry pie with ice cream and a slice of blueberry pie, bedrock style. The slice was buried under whipped cream, pop tart pieces, fruity pebbles and sprinkles. An absolute stoner masterpiece of a recipe, I’m sure! They had a bunch of other amazing things and pies on the menu. I can’t wait to go back. We had fun, enjoyed the food and awesome service. I’ve already recommended this place to two of my friends who are going to Vegas soon. Don’t deprive yourself of this unique experience.

Google
Love the vibe, service but the pizza was a bit underwhelming. The toppings were quality but the crust wasn't great. It was really soft, with no crust on the bottom or flavor. The salad was amazing though! Next time I'll ask for a crisper crust to see if it makes a difference. The restaurant was very clean and organized which I appreciated and you can see them prep the pizzas up front. Pretty cool experience overall.

Yelp
We've been here several times and have enjoyed seafood and chicken pot pies as well as their pizzas. Which were all delicious! Great service and ambiance! Always felt welcomed coming here!

Yelp
Have eaten here twice. Love the bulgogi pizza, it's so delicious! The meat pizza is also really good. I know the kiddies think it's good, too, when they aren't talking. Will eat here again.

Yelp
Consistently excellent. Stopped by yesterday to take advantage of their buy 1, get 1 free pot pie or fruit pie deal for Pi Day. As good as their fruit pies are, we opted for a chicken pot pie and the steak pot pie. I've had their chicken pot pie (the best ever) so I'm hoping the steak one is just as good. Because we chose to get the pies cold, we were in and out in about 5 min. The pies are frozen, which was perfect, as we put the steak pie in the freezer for consumption later and currently thawing out the chicken one for cooking later today. Thumbs up for continuing to provide great food, great deals and excellent service.

Yelp
Good food, good ambience, friendly service. Stopped in just before catching a flight out of LAS and got a Rioux Pie to share. Crust was delectibly thin and actually enjoyable to eat. The white Rioux sauce was nothing to write home about, but I'd be open to trying out their other pizzas if only for the crust (and no, I'm not typically a crust girl...). Side note: friend got a 4in pot pie and not only did it take forever (ie. came out at the end of the meal when we were getting ready to pay), it was TINY. Definitely not worth it imo and would suggest sticking with the pizzas.

Yelp
I would recommend this place. It was nice and clean. Staff were super friendly and parking was fairly easy. The music was a little loud though and the prices a bit higher, but that's because it's gourmet pizza. We got the brocolli and cheese pot pie for $12, and it was a little smaller, it's 4 inches, but it was so good! Make sure you order it asap because it does take a bit of time to bake in the oven. We also got the lunch special for $10. It came with a giant slice of pizza and a decent sized salad. The slice of pizza was thin crust and good cheese. My son liked it. But not gourmet tasting. The mushroom pizza was gourmet tasting and the crust was good so you actually want to eat! They also give free ranch!!! Some places charge now so that was a nice touch to have ranch for free and not have to pay 50 cents or $1. It's a nice stop near the airport so if you want somewhere to go before you fly off, I'd recommend stopping here and then going to the outlets or town square after to walk around if you have a late flight and had to check out early.

Yelp
My son and i wanted to try their food since it seems everyone likes them, we ordered online and picked it up. Everything was so good, best pie and chicken pot pie i have ever had. We will be coming back for more delicious food.

Yelp
Came in on a Sunday afternoon, the food was Delicious! We got the Sicilian pizza, it was loaded with Meat! We also ordered the Greek Salad to share! Our server Natalie was great and attentive! Highly recommend this place! The Ambiance was great with Clean and minimal interior; A great place to meet and chill with friends for Pizzas and Beer!

Yelp
Came to an event here, great space, small menu, kind of loud (and it was only about 20 of us in there). In speaking with the staff they said 90% of their biz is door dash, which is a shame b/c it seems like a cool spot to watch sports! Simple menu, chicken, salads (Greek salad looked AMAZING) and pizza. I did ask for my pizza to be well done and it wasn't so I just took most of it home and cooked it more. I didn't want to send it back b/c honeslty I couldn't get a hold of my waitress....everytime I needed water or utensils or something I had to get up...oh well...avergage night...

Yelp
I finally got around to trying Crust and Roux and my only disappointment is that I didn't get in here sooner to try it. I came in on a weekend around lunch time and was seated by the kitchen. Our server was Meghan. She asked us if we had dined there before, and since it was our first visit, she went over the menu with us. The restaurant is casual and has different tables and some couches in a lounge area. Lots of TVs are on with different sports playing. For beverage options, they serve beer and wine and have a Coca Cola Freestyle machine. The menu has plenty of options including pizza, pot pies, salads, and sandwiches. We decided to try two different pizzas that day. We ordered the crab pie which is one of their most popular pizzas and the spicy rosa seafood pizza. The pizzas are loaded with toppings and are definitely filling. The crab pie had huge chunks of crab and the spicy rosa had crab, shrimp, scallops, mushrooms, and red pepper flakes to give it a nice spicy kick. The spicy rosa was a little fishy tasting because it's loaded with so much seafood, but it's still a unique and tasty pizza. For dessert, we ordered a slice of apple pie and got vanilla ice cream and whipped cream on the side. It was packed with apple filling and had such a good flaky crust. We had it warmed up and ate a few bites at the table, then boxed up the rest of the pie and our pizzas to eat at home. The pizzas reheated very nicely at home and tasted just as good reheated as they did in the restaurant. I can't wait to return to try pot pies and sandwiches off the menu or even some different pizzas. I'm happy that Crust and Roux opened and plan to put it in my regular rotation of restaurants.

Yelp
I've had this place bookmarked for awhile and had the chance to try it with my friend. Since we already had dinner, I thought it would be a good idea to stop in and check out their desserts and see what kind of pizzas they had. The place was empty while neighboring eateries were busy. We were greeted by a a friendly worker who suggested all the pies were good and everything was made in house. I picked the banana cream pie as it was a limited time item and my friend picked a peach pie. To my disappointment, the pie crust is very hard. Not flaky or buttery, just hard. Too much flour or over kneaded? There is also a sweet pastry cream layer in the banana pie that was a bit odd in there. It's kind of grainy and I think I think it was their way to elevate the pie, but some things are just better simple. The banana flavor tasted artificial like banana flavoring instead of just using ripened bananas. The peach pie was not great either. Filling was deflated and dried out. Crust is too hard as well. There is effort in making these items and I can appreciate that. The place has a theme to sit, lounge and eat while sports are playing. There is a lounge couch we end up sitting on while waiting for our pie. No suggestions to try anything else or small chat in getting to know us while we were the only customers there. The place is clean and has a vision, but the price point may be hard to justify if the first bite does not win one over for a second try.

Yelp
Came here to show some support after this establishment came out to support our little league opening day. Great pizza, interesting vibe inside... was surprisingly slow for a Saturday night at 5:30, considering how good it was. I recommend the 9th island and the Sicilian!

Yelp
Finally had the opportunity to try C&R via takeout. My husband was shopping at Whole Foods at Town Square for our family, and I asked him to stop in to pick up dinner on a weeknight. I was looking forward to trying the famous & popular crab pizza, but to my disappointment, they no longer offer that pizza. Quick to alter our dinner plan, we decided on the mini pot pies: chicken, seafood, and steak. I didn't care for the seafood one due to the sourness of the gravy/sauce - too heavy handed on the vinegar. The steak one was too salty. The only decent one was the chicken pot pie. I did, however, LOVED the buttery & flaky crust of the pies. I also loved the strawberry pie, for the delicate sweetness & again, amazing & fresh tasting crust. I didn't eat the slice of pie, until the next AM (I had it for breakfast w/ my coffee). I heated the strawberry pie in my toaster oven at 300' F x 10-minutes; and it was delicious! My husband said the employees at the restaurant were friendly & talkative. And the inside was clean & modern. I will def try dining in next time, so I can try the pizzas.

Yelp
I was first introduced to Crust and Roux at a Yelp Elite Event, and vowed to return soon afterward. This I did with Diane in tow on the night the Vegas Golden Knights won the Stanley Cup after an explosive offensive performance that ended in a 9-3 drubbing of the Florida Panthers. We ordered a 20-inch pizza that was one-half Clam Pie and one-half Pepp Pie with Mushrooms and Sausage added. The slices of Clam Pie were simply outstanding. The New York style crust was golden and supple; the White Sauce creamy and cheesy; and the pie liberally sprinkled with fresh crab. The slices were so large that I ate two Clam Pie slices, and Diane only one. I also finished off two delicious slices of Pepp Pie, and we boxed the remaining three slices to be eaten for dinner two days later at our home in Redlands. Then we finished off together a large slice of Pecan Pie a la mode (slices here are each a quarter-pie), and closed the place as the last two diners of the day, leaving two minutes before midnight to continue our late-night drive to Southern California. Five types of a la mode are served here, but we selected the simplest one: a large scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream. Both the Pecan Pie and ice cream were luscious, the pie's interior sweet, moist, and bursting with flavor. I washed everything down with Zero Sugar Orange Vanilla Coca-Cola from the Coca-Cola dispenser on site, with the help of server Rebecca. We also took home a 16-inch Parm Pizza with Extra Cheese, and a BBQ Brisket Pot Pie for later dining. The Parm Pizza came with Prosciutto and Mozzarella rectangles, but Diane was disappointed that the cheese was not melted, vowing to try to cure this during rewarming in a home oven. I was very pleased with this outing. We have many more types of pies to try that are made here, spanning pizza, pot, and dessert varieties, so will most certainly be back.

Yelp
Came in on a late lunch and the venue was available. Right from the start you get a nice preview of some dessert pies and the venue is open with some TVs and little peek of the kitchen. Our sever was sweet and really tried to recommend some options for us. We only had two pizzas today. The roux pizza. Perfect perfect crust. Tons of cheese, mushroom and spinach. Our server asked if we wanted a side on marinara since it does not have a tomato based sauce and we said yes. I recommend dipping in the sauce. Caution just a little on the heavy side as you taste everything plus the olive oil. The 16in was way big enough for 2. The cheese pizza was simple but everything. So much cheese for days and again the marinara sauce is where it's at. I would go there just for this simple pizza. We really wanted dessert but were honestly so full. So next time we will have to give it a try.

Yelp
I came here and first tried their pies at a Yelp Elite Event. The pizza was SO good I texted my partner about it right away. As I was leaving the parking lot, he called and asked me if I can order a pizza and bring it home, so I did! When I pulled back up and stepped inside, all the employees recognized me immediately and said "back again already?!" I told them the story, then they helped me pick out a pizza. After placing my order, I waited about 10-15 minutes for my pizza which I think is super reasonable as they are made to order. While the Roux Pizza was my favorite from everything I tried at the event, I ordered the Sicilian Pizza and my partner absolutely LOVED it. He's usually not the biggest fan of pizza so I was both surprised and happy to hear he thoroughly enjoyed the pizza. Crust and Roux overall just provides the absolute best dining experience! I wish it wasn't so far of a trek for me, otherwise I'd be eating here all the time.

Yelp
After attending an absolutely DELICIOUS Yelp Elite event a month or so ago, I'd been DYING to return to Crust and Roux. I finally got the opportunity to do so last week, when I had family in town visiting from Chicago. I'd seen on their Instagram that they were having a family event on Friday night, right at the time we were planning to be there. I was a little concerned because I wanted to make sure that we were able to get a table, so I'd commented on their post. One of their team reached out to me via DM, and we were able to reserve a table. They were absolutely amazing, and even accommodated a last minute addition to the reservation. When we arrived, we were seated right away. Meghan was our server, and she went out of her way to make sure that we were well taken care of. She was super friendly, made conversation, and gave us recommendations for drinks that we weren't super familiar with. Now, let's talk about the food! The thing with attending Yelp events, is...spots usually put their best foot forward, and don't always live up to that expectation when you return. Not so with Crust and Roux! Everything was perfect. We ordered: The Sicilian (which I'd had at the event) The Greek (Also had at the event) The Parma. My BIL also ordered the strawberry pie in a cup, and we ordered a slice of pecan pie to take home. The 2 pizzas I'd had before were exactly as I remembered them. Flavorful. Delicious crisp, yet chewy crust. Plentiful toppings. The Parma was a new one for me, and this was the favorite of my husband and BIL. Topped with paper thin prosciutto, little bursts of cherry tomato, CHEESE (including shaved parm), and rocket (arugula), this pizza was SO good...we ordered a second one to take home, and sent half the original pizza home with my sister and BIL. I didn't try the strawberry pie, but my BIL devoured every last morsel, so I'm going to assume he liked it lol. The pecan pie slice was ENORMOUS, and we enjoyed it for a couple of days, having a bite at a time. It was absolutely delicious! If you sign up for their rewards program you are able to get perks and discounts, which is always a plus. They host family/build your own pizza nights every month (I want to say twice a month, but I'm not positive that is correct lol), which is super fun. Prices might seem a little on the higher side, but let me tell you, you're paying for quality ingredients, and excellent service. Its absolutely worth it. Not feeling pizza? They have pot pies (the seafood pie is to die for), and salads too! Huge shout out to Crust and Roux for another great experience. We'll be back soon!!
google avatar

Andrea M.

Yelp
I only had the peach pie and it was definitely enough for a few portions and delicious. Not too sweet but just the right amount of sweetness. When ordering, the service was warm and welcoming and willing to be patient with me due to me wanting all the pies in the case. It seems like more of a chill spot to watch for a game and eat pizza. Somewhat of a sports bar feeling but table seats instead of a bar.

Yelp
Perhaps some of the most interesting pizza that I've had recently on a garlic seasoned crust right in the outskirts of Town Square. When we arrived, it was not busy so perhaps they do a lot more to go business. Fun tip for you all wanting to go with a group and trip a few pizzas. Get a few 12" or a 20" half one flavor and half another. They only split flavors on the 20", which is plenty of food for 5 people with leftovers. They have a good beer selection if you dine in. As for the pizza, we had the Spicy Rosa, Eggplant Parm, Sicilian and Greek. Of those, the standouts that I would order with no hesitation are Spicy Rosa, and Eggplant Parm. Even reheated they tasted great. Our server Rebecca was delightful and so helpful with everything. She made sure to check in with us several times throughout our meal and bring us to go boxes and even parchment when we asked. Make sure to sign up for their rewards program and get 10% off your bill for checking in and points on your purchase. Just make sure to show your check in before paying.

Yelp
PIE, PIE, PIE - oh my!!! This place has it all!!! I raved about their chicken pot pie before, but now I have tried the pizza pies and dessert pie!! The trifecta of tastings is complete and this place is GOOD!!! Kudos to the head pizza chef! He was churning out pizzas left and right on Pi day (all pies were BOGO) like a BOSS!! The pizzas came out piping hot and baked to perfection! No black burnt bits on the pizza or on the bottom! The dessert pie is like a quarter of a pie! A thick slice, cut perfectly and filled with the blueberry filling that isn't too sweet, but just right in a Goldilocks kind of way! Crust & Roux, my love for you is like PI...unending!! ;)

Yelp
First time we were there we ordered pizza, pot pie and a slice of strawberry pie. The winner was the strawberry pie. Everything else was okay. We just had dinner next door and I ran in for a slice of strawberry pie to go. Unfortunately they must have changed it. Barely any filling. The last time I distinctly mentioned to my party how impressed I was with the filling and the amount they stuffed in there. That's not the case anymore. Less than half an inch of filling. Sad.

Yelp
Crust and Roux is serving pizza, pot pie, dessert pies, and sandwiches in Town Square. Find them in the section by Total Wine. We were immediately greeted when we arrived by a friendly employee. She continued to check in on us as we enjoyed our lunch. Another employee we interacted with was also very welcoming and friendly. The dining room has plenty of seating and was nice and clean. Orders are placed at the counter and then you wait at the table for the food to arrive. The food we enjoyed there and our takeout order were prepared quickly. The lunch specials sounded good so we went with selections from that menu. I had the special that included a slice of cheese or pepperoni pizza and a salad for $10 ($2 upgrade for Greek salad). It was a lot of food and a good deal for the price. The Pepperoni Pizza slice was as large as two regular slices. It tasted a little different from the typical pizza, but I liked it. The crust had a unique flavor. The red sauce on the pizza was a thinly spread with a heavy layer of cheese. The Greek Salad was fresh and plentiful. Instead of a salad with greens it was large pieces of tomatoes, bell peppers, and purple onion. Delicious! We took a Chicken Pot Pie home for dinner. It was really good. There was plenty of delicious filling with chicken and veggies. The crust was buttery and flaky. We baked according to directions and it came out very soupy, but set up after sitting for a few minutes. I'd suggest about five more minutes of uncovered time for a browned crust. All of the pies we tried were very good. I loved their buttery crust and I am usually happy to eat around pie crust. Our family shared slices of Apple Pie, Strawberry Pie, Peach Pie, and Pecan Pie. The Apple Pie and Peach Pie had layers of fresh fruit slices. Ours didn't have any gelatin like other reviews mentioned so perhaps they've made changes since opening. The slices seemed pricey at first, but the slices were big enough for two servings. Don't forget to sign up for rewards on your first visit. Not only do you get points towards rewards, but signing up gets you 10% off your first order too. What a fun idea to offer pizza, pot pie, and dessert pie all in one spot. I hope to return soon!

Yelp
Great pizza. I'd venture to say one of the best crusts I've ever had and I've had pizza in Chicago and New York. It's a cute place as well! Nice inside and the staff are all very attentive. Highly recommend for an upscale pizza experience.

Yelp
I forgot to update this review from my last I believe the last time we came and got food here Craig assisted us since the prior time we came wasn't the best and let me tell you that is the man he made sure our pizza was fresh and the flavor was there it was made hot and ready to eat I was really pleased with the service and the attentiveness that he and his crew was able to show because of that we are back tonight and the staff tonight is pleasant and friendly with smiles and ready to serve the place is nice and clean as I have always seen it and there are just a couple other faces in here eating it's really nice pizza place I'm really excited to have our pizza tonight

Yelp
Food was great! The crusts on the pizza, pot pie and dessert pies were all delish! We got the bugogi pizza and def recommend! The chicken pot pie was also a highlight! I'll def go back and try other things. They only have one dessert pie flavor - strawberry, and was good but would've loved other options. I think a monthly pizza and/or dessert feature flavor would be cool, I'd be checking the Instagram for it and head in monthly to try it!

Yelp
A belated update on the pies! I took home a chicken pie for me and a seafood one for GF. You bake them off at home. The directions are straightforward and way enough for any novice chef. You will need to use an egg wash to brown the crust or... spread a thin coating of butter. GF for sure didn't have an egg, so I was sure to give her one. A fabulous flaky crust with savory chicken and old school veggies filling. Definitely a step above Col. Sanders! GF reported the seafood pie was great. I'm going to try the Gumbo pie next!

Mike D.

Yelp
While the flavor of the pizza was good... I'm confused as I ordered double pepperoni and it to me didn't seem double. See pic as if it had half that it would be damn near plain, most was like The piece on the right . I was also told there was only one size pizza but it shows 3 options on the menu. I did order the pot pies to cook at home so I'll be looking forward to that tonight. Wife loved the parm on the crust but It was a bit messy as I was driving. It's also preference I'd like a little more sauce. Vibe looks cool but it was empty and I didn't understand the cases by the front as they had like a couple beers. Guessing this place just opened? Oh and what's w the paper straws? This isn't California
google avatar

Yelp
I will slap anyone who tries to tell me this place ain't 5 stars. The pizza is amazing but damn the chicken pot pie would put Marie Calendars out of business if they ever packaged it ! Much love team for amazing food !

Yelp
Yum yum! This place just opened in December if I remember right in town square. I have now been twice, once with a huge dinner party, and once for lunch. They were super accommodating with our large group and friendly when taking our orders. You order at the front counter but don't forget to check out their large selection of local/craft beer including some beer zombies brews. You can also get your pizza half and half if you can't decide on what pizza to order. They have a freestyle coke machine so you can make whatever concoction you want. Pizza is pretty darn tasty. My only suggestion is to cook them a bit longer so that the crust is a little more firm. I had to eat it with a fork since my slices was pretty bendy. Oh and to add breadsticks! That crust is soo soo good! Overall pretty tasty! Will for sure be back for lunch.

Yelp
The Partner of Crust & Roux was generous enough to comp us free food after our first experience on Pi Day. He was generous enough to even have it dropped off at my job, so I got to share it with my boss. Since I was a big fan of their pot pies, I ordered the Chicken Pot Pie, the Gumbo Pie, and the Strawberry Pie. All pies were 9 inches, so they were definitely shareable. Chicken Pot Pie: Crust was thick and flaky but also perfectly cooked. I did find the innards a bit on the salty side, but it was still a good chicken pot pie. The chicken was moist and there was a generous amount of veggies. I give this a 4 out of 5. Gumbo Pie: Like the pot pie, the crust was thick, flaky, and perfectly baked. The filling, however, was full of textures. According to the menu, it contains chicken, andouille sausage, shrimp, okra, celery, and onions. Honestly, the pie was so loaded that it was hard to distinguish what was what. There were some ingredients in the pie that were hard to chew through, almost like chewing through a leaf that wouldn't disintegrate. Not sure if it was the okra. Also, the pie has a bit of a kick to it, probably from the okra or the sausage. I would give this a 3 out of 5. Strawberry Pie: This is the first strawberry pie I've ever had, and I was not disappointed. When I think strawberry, I am reminded of its tartness, which isn't my thing. However, the filling was not tart whatsoever. It was more on the sweet side, and I surprisingly did not find it too sweet (I don't like super sweet foods). There weren't any chunks of strawberries inside; it had more of a jam texture, but it's probably because the strawberries were blended/mashed really well. Also, the crust was perfect. This pie would pair so well with vanilla ice cream on top. I give this a 5 out of 5. Thank you Lowell for reaching out and letting us try these pies. My boss was a fan of the Gumbo pie.

Yelp
Stopped by on a random Monday night. There weren't many customers in there so we kind of had the place to ourselves. Our pizza took a little more time than usual because they had a lot of call in orders as we were arriving. Since we had to wait we were offered a free dessert (we got a slice of pumpkin and a slice of pecan pie). The pizza was really good. We got the Sicilian. They allowed us to get extra pepperoni instead of the salami. We also grabbed a Gumbo pot pie and THAT was the highlight! Overall, the service was good, the food was good, and they have a bunch of TVs to watch sports or whatever. We'll be back!

Yelp
Saw this place on social media. Pizza pies and dessert pies? We're in. Went late morning around 11:30am, had the place to ourselves. As soon as you walk in you see the pies on display in the glass case, open seating throughout. Waitress at the counter was very nice and welcoming, great start. We got a slice of the pepperoni pizza, a slice of the pumpkin pie, and a slice of the apple pie a la mode. Pizza was great, proportion was huge for being just a slice, more like a 1/4 which I absolutely welcomed. Dessert pies were delicious, pumpkin pie was perfect texture and right level of sweet pumpkin balance. The apple pie, my personal favorite, was excellent. Super thick and dense apple across the slice. Excellent food, want to come back and try a full specialty pizza, and maybe a full dessert pie to bring home if I'm not counting calories that day.

Yelp
I love pie. I have been searching for great pie in Vegas for years, and I was really excited when I saw an IG ad for Crust & Roux. And now I'm super bummed. The place looks and smells great when you walk in. We were just here for pie, but it looks like they have a nice wine selection and the pizzas I saw looked good. The pies looked beautiful in the case right as we walked in. That's where the positives ended. We were seated and ordered right away because we knew what we wanted. 2 slices of pie (1 ala mode) and a coffee. 30 minutes later with zero communication from the staff, we canceled the order and got a mini pie to go. We heated it up at home to give it a fair shot. But it was meh at best. The crust was heavy and soggy. The filling (peach) was dry - probably had soaked into the crust. When I threw the tin out, I saw a sticker on the bottom that said Monday - today is Thursday. If the pie had been great, we'd give them another try in spite of the lack of service. But it wasn't. So I'm back on the hunt for great pie in Vegas.

Yelp
So I was really excited to try this place out and met up with a couple of fellow Yelpers. Located in restaurant row on the opposite side of Town Square Mall. Easy to find and plenty of parking. There is patio seating as well as plenty of seating inside. They serve pizza pies, pot pies, sandwiches and salads. They also serve pizza by the slice. There was also a separate dessert pie menu and a new tailgate menu probably for the football lovers. When you arrive, you order at the counter and then find a seat. They will bring your order to you. My friends ordered the Bay Pie pizza which has seafood red sauce, shrimp, scallops, green onions and mozzarella cheese. They also ordered extra red sauce and sides of ranch. We all shared the pizza. I also ordered the small chicken pot pie as I usually love a hot pot pie. For dessert we ordered apple pie ala mode. The chicken pot pie came out first. It looked so good, but I was quickly disappointed as it was dry and not very creamy. This is a necessity for a tasty pot pie. This pot pie needs improvement. The pizza came out next and it was decent. I am glad my friends ordered extra red sauce as again a little on the dry side but dipping in the red sauce brought out more flavor. I had never tried seafood on my pizza but it tasted good. Lastly, our apple pie arrived for dessert. The pie was good but not outstanding and paired well with the ice cream. The service was stellar. We had a young lady Sky serving our table and she was very nice, friendly and helpful. They also sell dessert pies and feature apple, blueberry, cherry, strawberry, peach plus seasonal pies like pumpkin for this time of year and pecan. For banana cream and a few other flavors you must order 24 hours in advance. I realize this place just opened two months ago so I do plan to return and give it a second try. I am sure they are still working on items. I hope they are successful.

Yelp
Food is Amazing. The Service Exceptional We orders the house salad. Enough for four people to share. The lettuce was fresh, cool and crisp. You could tell it was made fresh to order. I ordered the Seafood Potpie. It was made fresh to order and you could tell. My husband ordered a 16 inch Pepperoni and Mushroom pizza. The crust was so crisp it held up to all the toppings. It wasn't soggy at all. My dad ordered the Crab Pie. It was made with real lump crab meat it was delicious. The ambience was open air and nice. I loved the black and white subway tiles on the wall. Our server Megan was an absolute delight. Since it was our first time there, she explained how everything worked. Since I ordered the seafood potpie she recommended we put the order in right away as it takes about 20-30 mins. to assemble and cook the fresh potpie. If I lived in Vegas I would definitely be a repeat diner. I wish we had a Crust & Roux is Saint Louis, Missouri. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. They have a very large selection of sandwiches, salads, pot pies, pizza and dessert pies. Anybody can find something here. They even have Vegan selections. So go to Crust & Roux and grab a bite to eat. You won't regret it.

Yelp
Yum!!! This place has been on my radar for a few months and I have been wanting to try it! I pre-ordered for a 2pm pickup knowing that the parking situation is a bit crazy. Located in a newer part of Town Square Mall, Crust is surrounded by half a dozen places to eat. Walking in at my designated time, the place was deserted, I was quite surprised. My pickup order was ready and placed in a nice black carry bag which matches the black and white indoor decor. Customer service was great. The chicken pot pie was/is delicious. I got a small one to test it out. The crust was flakey and not doughy. The filling was great, it all held together. We also ordered a "slice" of pie which is enough for 2 people, maybe even 3. I look forward to more pot pie this winter and hope this place is busier than when I came at 2pm!!

Yelp
Big bad mama with the strawberry earrings who took our order at the front thank you for being so fun and friendly. We ordered: The Sicilian Pie: they didn't have any sausage but that's ok they put more than enough pepperoni and salami. Let me just start off by saying this is one of the best pizzas I've had in Vegas. A bit oily but thats pizza for you, now ima Take a napkin and dab it off then I'm ready to consume. The pie slice was hot and the texture crunchy and crispy. So much for my new year's resolution I had three slices such great flavor with that salami and I'm not into salami but y'all got me sold at Crust and Roux. Chicken Pot Pie: when you crack this bad boy open it looks like a soup but mix the crust into the soupy filling and you got yourself a thick pie. I haven't had a pot pie since back in the Marie calendar days. Loved the pie I would definitely order another one of these or try one of the many they offer on the menu The ambiance is lounge-ish they have a more intimate setting of you go with friends so you can chill and watch the game on the TVs and they also have regular restaurant setting round tables and chairs. And the staff takes care of you Thank you for the experience I truly enjoyed my first time here and I can't wait to come back

Yelp
Was excited to try this place with all the good reviews but it was pretty mediocre. It was happy hour so pepperoni pizza was only $4 a slice. Pretty typical food court style pizza where they re heat the slice before serving it. Half salad was $12 which was large enough to split for two people. Caesar salad was decent, romaine was fresh and dressing was flavorful and didn't taste too generically store bought. The slice of pizza was fairly large but unspectacular. Server was friendly. There was only one other customer here at 5pm on a Thursday afternoon. It wasn't impressive enough to make me want to go out of my way to come back.

Yelp
Fantastic pizza place to watch sporting events and enjoy a great pizza. The bonus is their dessert. Wow!!! Home made pies. Jessica the manager was great and found the VGK game for me to enjoy our pizza.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I were tired and hungry and happened to pass by this spot. Pizza always sounds good, so we stopped in. The staff welcomed us in and were very friendly! We ordered and sat, waiting patiently. It came out hot and fresh. I let my boyfriend try first, since he is the pizza connoisseur lol. I could tell he loved it and he complimented the sauce too! I dug in and it was delicious- the sauce, the crust, everything! We will definitely be back when we're in Vegas!

Yelp
Unique pizzas and closes late!! 12am! 4 stars cuz yummy, but not amazing. Seafood pizza and pies! Normal pizzas too No banana cream pie, but they have strawberry and blueberry. ========= Ordered the roux pizza and a slice of pepperoni for the road home after a 4 day extravaganza aka our mini moon. $28 for a large 16" pizza $6 for a huge single slice Even though the drive home took 5 hours, I revived the pizza on a dry frying pan and stuck it in the air fryer for a bit. The crust was good, but not great. It stood on its own, but it wasn't as flavorful as other places I've tried. I did however like munching on the end bit. Roux pizza The roux pizza is composed of mushrooms, a white sauce, more cheese, fresh garlic, spinach, and chicken. Unfortunately, the chicken was dry..but the pizza as a whole was good. Pepperoni slice The pepperoni pizza I did slightly overcook in the air fryer, but the sauce wasn't anything special. I just wanted to see how the red sauce was. Curious about the crab pizza, just not for $40 when it has to survive a 5hr car ride home lol Plates/pepper/cheese weren't given, maybe they have to be asked for.. The place is super clean and huge cuz it just opened. Service was friendly in the 2m experience there.

Yelp
We are new to Vegas and wanna try everything! I saw this place and new we needed to try it. These pies are baked fresh upon order so there is a bit of a wait, but who doesn't sit on their phone or wanna gossip with friends! The staff is friendly and helpful. The manager, Drew was also there and very friendly, he checked on us a couple of times to see if we needed anything. We ordered chicken pot pie, 9 inch for my husband and me to share and we barely finished it! It was sooo good. The crust is delicious, light and just yummy! The restaurant is just south of the strip at the edge of Town Square shopping center. A quick car ride will get you here and away from strip prices for a meal or 2!! I didn't get a pic of the pot pie unfortunately but we demolished it pretty quickly They have a wide variety of food options like sandwiches, pizza and a variety of pot pies, they also have breakfast pies, that we will be trying!! Give this place a try, with the variety of food they offer, you will find something you like!

Yelp
Delicious pot pie, happy hour slices and friendly service. Went around 3:00. One slice of cheese, one slice of the pizza of the day (Sicilian) and the small chicken pot pie for like $22 plus tip. Would definitely go ahead. Might be the best chicken pot pie I've ever had and I eat them fairly often.

Yelp
Walked in on a Sunday night and it was practically empty which was surprising because this place is great! Fun aesthetic, good music, sports on the tv, friendly staff, and they serve beer & wine! We couldn't decide between 2 pizzas, (The Roux and The Sicilian) so our server recommended we get half/half- what a great idea. We ordered a large, which was more than enough for 2. We loved the pizza- the crust definitely lives up to its name. We will be back.

Yelp
I want to say the pizza taste ok I wouldn't go there again. I've been here two times and as you walk in, there's nobody to greet you, you go sit and because there's only one waitress taking care of the front and the tables it takes a while for her to come and ask for your drink order and for her to take your food when it's ready to the table the ambience is OK

Yelp
After landing in Vegas, I wanted a really great Italian sandwich. This restaurant had high Yelp reviews and the photos of the Italian sandwich looked great. I ordered the Sicilian sandwich and small pie to go. The sandwich was awful. The bread was dry, tasted old. It could be good if made in a panini press. I ate a quarter of it and threw the rest out. The small apple pie ($10) was hard to eat. The Apples had a metallic taste (it can't be from the tin it was baked in). The crust is the only decent part of the pie. I won't be coming back or recommending. It's pretty hard to mess up an Italian sandwich. Hard pass!

Yelp
I can't recommend Crust and Roux enough! The staff is friendly, the portions are generous, and they have a great happy hour. And of course, the pizza is really good! I love dining in with friends for lunch whenever we're all in the area. **S/o to the team members that work here they always welcome us with a smile and customer service is always great**
