I'm from out of town and was craving pizza. After reading many positive reviews, I decided to give this restaurant a try. As soon as you open the door to the restaurant, you are hit with the aroma of fresh dough, absolutely mouthwatering. Restaurant was exceptionally clean and brightly lit. The customer service was great with an attentive, friendly cashier and cook. I ordered the vegan pizza with vegan sausage, roasted garlic, onion and arugula. I really wanted to try the vegan mozzarella/cheddar blend and pepperoni but it wasn't available but I was not disappointed by what I got. Honestly, I will have to say the hype is real! This is the best vegan pizza I have ever had. The Signature crust alone is off the charts. Whenever I visit the area next time, can't wait to visit Crust again!

I was looking for fries to accompany my pizza…. Until I saw the photos of the pizza on the menu online😭😭😭. You don’t need ala carte when you’re doing it like CRUST! My phone was charging when I was dipping my pizza into the truffle honey so I couldn’t capture a photo, but please know the sight takes your breath away. We had two pies for pick up and both came up to $41 which is quite reasonable. Everyone we spoke to on the phone was thorough & attentive. When we came to pick up, area was clear, and the space was modestly clean. My pie: regular crust, tomato sauce, mozzarella, goat cheese, grilled chicken, spinach, onions, pesto, basil, and truffle honey on the side Had a vegan pie which details I forget, but the truffle salt, local mushroom medley, and truffle honey melted us. Crust is superb. Try the white or red pizza with mushrooms and truffle oil. Yum! After planning to take half of the pie home, I ate the whole thing there. Too delicious to stop eating. The crust is thin, with just the right texture and taste. Good salads too; perfect for sharing. The staff is friendly and competent. Go there!

Great food and atmosphere. Staff is also good. They lost a star from my review because they don’t have jalapenos as a topping and don’t carry simple lemonade/fruit punch. All they had was Arizona large sugary cans(60gm of sugar in a can) or no sugar sparkling water. It would be nicer to carry more beverage options to go along with pizza. Considering pizza is not a “healthy food” but they offer cauliflower crust. Overall great tasting pizza and will certainly return to this place whenever I am in Pittsfield.

Called in a Take out order for the Buffalo Chicken Pizza! Was ready for pick up in 20 minutes. Hmmm! Man, it was So Good! Flavorable and seasoned just right. Price was good even with tax. Staff greets you soon as you walk in the door. Atmosphere was quite and conversation could be heard easily. They have a 4.6 star rating. That's why I chose them.

Delicious pizza made with local ingredients! I first went to CRUST during my lunch break when I was in high school. I remember trying a slice of the margarita pizza and loving it. I told my parents and we ended up coming in for dinner. Pizza was still amazing. The sauce is so sweet and the crust perfectly compliments it. I remember when this restaurant was Daddy O’s, and I’ve had so many fond memories in this building. It’s great to see a business thriving!

In the heart of Pittsfield, Massachusetts is the best pizza establishment called "CRUST" They use all fresh ingredients, organic red sauce, cauliflower crust, gluten free, dairy free, and vegan options, there is literally something for everyone! The owner really took the time to cater to his customers! You can build your own pizza, select from specialty designed pizza, salads, handcrafted dough, home made sauce & ranch! I was immediately greeted by the 2 ladies whom assisted me with the menu options, very kind and helpful. I had additional questions about the establishment and they were on top of my questions. The inside dining area is big with plenty of seating for small and large parties as well as outside seating. The establishment was clean inside and outside. They have recycling bins inside to help with the reduction of going to the landfills. A lot of the locals recommended Crust and they were right, it did not disappoint! To anyone thinking about coming to Crust, Don't think about it just go. You won't be disappointed. Cheers 🥂

This was our first time, and all I can say is the best pizza I've had. From the crust to the sauce to the toppings. So many options. We will definitely be back!! A definite must try, you won't be disappointed!

Best GF pizza ever. I loved the vegetarian/DF option with beyond sausage and dairy free cheese. 3 topping and 3 finishers made an excellent pizza. Hubby lived his regular pizza crust. GF crust is excellent. Plenty of clean seating space and despite being busy with lots of take out orders they were right in it with no unreasonable waiting. All of our toppings were fresh and hubby was very impressed with the whole olives on his pizza.

It was our first time in the Berkshires...staying in downtown Pittsfield at our hotel and thinking of 'za, the good stuff. There was no shortage of pizzerias around, but most of the pics looked like bland corner-store pizzas that just make you feel bloated and filled with fat and grease. The name "Crust" and their focus on the dough that they mentioned on their website made it clear that they don't simply treat dough as the necessary substrate on which to lay sauce, cheese, and pepperoni. Good dough demands attention and needs to be nurtured. They literally have a "dough room". The pizzas we ordered were of superior quality. The crust was airy, light, strong, crunchy, and flavorful. The red mushroom pizza, with its local cremini and shiitake mushrooms, and the addition of fresh basil and black truffle oil, were all --mind blown--. Nick's White Garlic pizza was another epic 'za. Don't get "meh" pizza. Treat yourself to the good stuff. You deserve it. Half of my red mushroom pizza was plenty for dinner, and I will have the other half as my "hotel breakfast" in the morning. That is 2 meals for $15. Incredible value for incredible pizza. Get some! The service was exceptional. Tonight is a Friday night and they were busy. They were treating every customer efficiently, but also like they were an important regular customer. Seating options were good too. There were plenty of high and low tables, 2-tops and larger, and they also have 3 tables in front of the place. We brought our dog so we stayed outside. 10 out of 10. Easily!

Loved this place. From out of town, stopped in for a quick dinner. I had the cauliflower crust which was so darn good!!! I absolutely love how crispy the pepperonis can get with their baking method. Wish this was a chain we had in our state!! The restaurant itself is nothing special. Bright lights and kind of sterile looking. But who cares? The pizza was so darn good!!!

Saw people's tiktok post about this place. We got the chicken bacon ranch which is $16 for the whole pie. It was super oily but the dough itself was so crunchy it was soo good. You can also reheat it by putting it in the oven and not a microwave. I can understand why the name is crust because their crust was unforgettable. Definitely will be back here again when we visit MA again.

While spending some downtime in The Berkshire MA area, we decided it was pizza night. Based on reviews we chose Crust in Pittsfield. The service was excellent and 5 stars, the pizza dough really light and crispy. The setting was very modern with open ceiling and decor very fitting for a pleasant environment. A good around experience, we ordered the Neo and Mushroom ‍with Truffle oil.

Dang, this was some good pizza! My mom is a vegetarian so we ended up doing the garlic lovers pizza, extra garlic. If there are any vampires in Pittsfield, I think we will be warding them off! Crust was very generous with whole cloves of garlic (and lots of it). We also added some long hots and these were a delicious addition. Service was quick and the customization was no issue. We will return if we are back in town, and I'll be sure to snap a photo before inhaling!

Nice place in Pittsfield, I think it's pretty new but I haven't really been in that area in a while so can't say for sure. We had the Thanksgiving pizza (it was a week before Thanksgiving) as we wanted to try something different than a normal/plain pizza. Nice combination of toppings (mashed potatoes too!) which made it unique, we ended up eating it all and going next door to the frozen yogurt place which also had a nice variety of flavors and toppings.

I got the Carne with meatballs and sausage. Flavors were good, service was fast. Not a huge pizza lover but I would go again.

I thought this was a Franchise chain but the owner replied that it is family owned. Even better. The his place is fantastic. Make the pizza any way you want. Great for take out or dine in. Try it and you won't regret it. Ice cream next door which is also great. Easily 5 stars.

Never been, so I asked what was the best, and don't tell me everything! I built my own, some ricotta, hot peppers, mushrooms. I found the whole thing to be rather bland, crust was doughy and tough. I would think with the name "CRUST", that would be your main concern. I was told n o toppings came from aa can, but you could have fooled me. I could tell they were not. The only thing I got from the pie was, it was hot, and one of my bites I could tell there was a hot pepper on it. Go somewhere else, unless you like it here. I have better places to have a pie, much better. This is whaat I do though, go around and see whaat's available.

Much too good! One of the best pizzas I've had. The pizza was nice and crispy but not overdone. Came out nice and quick as well

The pizza is pretty good. Even better since they got more generous with the pepperoni (they used to be pretty skimpy with the meat toppings). Why the 3 stars then? If you order online, BEWARE- there's a tip "option" which is set automatically at a default tip of 15%. It's small & you may miss it if you rush through the ordering. I've gotten burned a few times this way & it really ticks me off. There's not a pizza place out there worth a 15% tip for take-out pizza.

Had pizza here for the first time. Had the make your own pizza. Lots of choices for toppings. Friends ordered a salad , which was large enough for four people to share. Other people had the green pizza. Staff was young but very friendly and accommodating. Overall would recommend this place.

I'm from New York, so trust when I say this pizza was good -- AND AFFORDABLE. SUCH good pricing. We did takeout so I can't comment on service.

Pizza is some of the best we've had this side of the pond. Salad was enormous. We shall make it a point of stopping here whenever we're in the area.

Every time we've been here my experience has been the same- meh. Crust belabors what pizzerias across the state and region do daily with little to no fanfare. Like many people, I love pizza! And I've had some great pizzas in New Haven, NYC, Chicago,Northern California and places in between. This is not great pizza- but it COULD be, and that's what is so frustrating. Crust. I bake bread. A LOT of bread. The basic problem at this restaurant is their dough. Their toppings are varied, the cheese they use is good, their red sauce is tasty, the service is acceptable,the place is clean and well lit and the prices are not unreasonable; the dough just misses the mark. Oddly, rather than use customer feedback to improve, the proprietor would rather invite customers who leave a less than stellar review to never return. Which is odd since there are many places to get an OK pizza here in Pittsfield and this one could, instead, choose to raise the bar. So, James C, a middle of the road 3 stars has been awarded herein. The question is, what do you do with that information?

THIS. PIZZA. IS. AMAZING! The name is perfect because the crust is amazing.. so is the sauce, the toppings, the cheese - everything! Crust opened rather recently, and I know they are going to thrive in the Berkshires. My favorite pizza hands down is the red mushroom. I've also tried the white mushroom, green, carne, and a build your own. All of the pizzas are tasty and the ingredients are fresh. They import the finest ingredients from around the world, along with using some local ingredients. Unlike many pizza places in the area, you don't feel gross after eating it. They're not greasy and they're not heavy. I certainly recommend going here!

Great place. Pizza was excellent and I loved their selection of canned cocktails and local beer on draft. Having taken a look around town and not seeing much else, I'm surprised this place wasn't packed to the gills!

What a great spot! This place is delicious! Such a fun and unique experience. My boyfriend claims it's the best pizza he's ever had! Thin crust, crispy and delicious. The ingredients were great, you could taste how fresh everything was. We got the "grandma pizza" with arugula and pancetta and the "slice of Italy" with salami and kalamata olives. The staff was friendly and the pizza amazing! We would of loved to try all of the pizzas! Definitely eat here!

LOVE THIS PLACE! If we order takeout this is our go to for pizza! The ingredients are fresh, and it never is disappointing.

Gave this restaurant three chances. Can't say anything nice won't say anything at all. Review update since business owner replied; Dear sir; when spending almost $15 for a 12" personal pizza and ordering four per visit at an establishment which is named "crust" you would think they could get the crust right. First visit was upon your grand opening, the pizza crust was under cooked, extremely chewy like it wasn't given proper time to rise and we were told " sorry, the ovens were being regulated" and we understood. Second visit a few months later messed up on the order toppings. Third visit this yr the pizza was so over cooked that the fior di latte was unrecognizable. I sincerely appreciate you as an owner taking time to respond to a negative comment, however might I suggest conversing with location management to offer patrons not just an apology, but a full credit or replacement when situations as these occur. Hopefully you will now understand the reasoning behind the 1 star Yelp review.

CRUST absolutely gets the crust right. The chicken bacon ranch pizza was top notch. The green pizza with pesto base & veggies needed more of a kick -- more garlic or something a little salty. We'll add something extra next time to make it pop for us.

So so so good. If I could eat here everyday, I would. For about $10-11, you get amazing pizza with fresh ingredients. On the space, there are a few tables inside and some outside, so it's not bad to have a bite on location; we ate at a table outside. Grandma Pizza: I had mine with added mushrooms, onions, and pepperoni. I liked the amount of sauce and cheese on this one -- plenty of both. This was really good, but this was a "safe" choice. There is plenty to like, but this is a standard, no-frills type of pizza. White Mushroom: This pizza, on the other hand, has all the pizzazz. This sends you straight to flavor town. I did not order this one, but I wish I had. The few slices I had were great. Nothing against the other pizza, but this pizza was absolutely delicious. The truffle aioli went really well on this. I usually look for red sauce (which is why I didn't order this pizza), but this one did not need it at all. Highly recommended. Price: 5/5 Quality: 5/5 Quantity: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 4/5

Great gourmet pizza with unusual combinations. You do not cooked here for a Papa Ginos slice. You come here for craft made and unusual combo pizzas. They even have a choice of gluten free crusts.

We would highly recommend Crust! We stopped in this evening for a quick dinner. We were quickly greeted by a very friendly employee. We placed our order, ordering one pizza, half pepperoni, and half sausage. We paid and sat down to wait for our food. At some point an employee came over and explained that they had made the pizza incorrectly and we're in the process of correcting the mistake. He said it would just be a few more minutes. He offered the incorrect pizza to us to take home at no charge. The pizza was delicious !! The dining room was clean as were the restrooms. We will definitely be back!

Visiting the area and was looking for a good lunch place. Read reviews and decided to give Crust a try and we are so glad we did. Great ambiance , fun , casual and comfortable . Best pizza I've had in a long time. Love that the price point far " make your own " is fixed. Add as many toppings as you like... no extra charge. My husband had the Italian with fior di latte cheese, spicy soppressata and finished with red pepper flakes . While that is too spicy for me, he loved it. I chose make your own and had pepperoni, roasted garlic ( a must do if you like garlic ) red bell pepper and caramelized onion. It was incredible!! And the crust was PERFECT! Both pizzas and 2 Foxon park sodas were 34.00 which was an excellent price for the quality we received. We each could only eat 4 slices so had delicious leftovers !! We wish we lived closer but will definitely come when in this area again!!!

Best $15 I've spent in a while. Plenty of oven roasted garlic on garlic lovers pizza. All the ingredients were fresh! Great to have a top notch pizzeria back in Pittsfield!!

Hi! I just tried your pizza for the first time. I am genuinely blown away!! For any potential customers reading this, I am NOT a paid review. I read the other reviews. To each their own but, I don't know what the reviewer "Katie" is talking about when she says it was not phenomenal. Ok, her opinion but seriously, it was exceptional! I am a Pittsfield resident. I went to get my weekly Covid prevention test. When we came out, my husband, who is a hearing impaired gentleman said in sign language, what is that restaurant there? Although we are local, we had never been to CRUST restaurant. He wanted to try some pizza. I was like, ok but, just for you. I'm not feeling pizza right now. We went in. My first impression was the great space and decor. it's very spacious and Contemporary in my opinion. I like it. We were immediately greeted by a smiling cashier. I didn't catch her name. My husband ordered a personal pan size with pepperoni and onions. It only took 10 minutes and honestly, I feel like it was the quickest 10 minutes ever Lol. After we left with our to go order, the aroma peaked my interest so I tried a slice. Within the first bite, NO LIE! I was sold!! Everything about the pizza was literally perfect! Now I know why you named it CRUST. I also prefer a thinner crust myself. Funny thing is, I don't normally like pepperoni but, when I tried CRUST pepperoni, it was a crispy, smokey pepperoni, almost like bacon. The flavour was amazing! I have other favorites of Pittsfield but, none are to this level! I can promise you that ThIS is my new favorite and, we will be returning many times over! Thank you for setting up your restaurant in Pittsfield. If it wasn't for my husband's curiosity though, I wouldn't be here today writing this review. I survived CA and MD, then too FL and TX. Years with zero decent pizza. It is a little better now, yet there is ot of mediocrity out there still today. And now new in MA I worried, "Must I drive to New Haven's Wooster Street or on into NYC?" No. Crust, owned by an Italian guy from Manhattan, is turning out--with such consistency--beautiful units on eight or nine visits so far. The dough is aged twice as long, or more, than most joints so crispness is assured. Fresh toppings and zero from a can assure flavor. Plus the price, $11 or $12 per pie, ain't a bad thing either. STEADY goes on here. Must suggest a trial on your part.

Pizza was great! Took a day trip to CRUST on the advice of a coworker. They have Foxon Park soda...the best! Tried their Italian and white truffle mushroom pizzas. The manager (super great guy) asked us if we wanted cauliflower crust...we laughed and said no! Then our pizzas arrived fast and hot and the manager threw in a few slices of the cauliflower too...they were actually really tasty! Then the owner came over to chat and we told him we cannot find Foxon Park soda near our home. He sold us a case at cost! He was really cool. The place is immaculate too. A+...I will definitely stop back when I'm in western Mass!!!

I had a delicious white pizza with a cauliflower crust. Highly recommend! It's not cheap but it was delicious and pretty quick.

Kinda underwhelmed. After having read the reviews, we were expecting to be wowed by a flavorful pie. What we got looked great, but was kinda.....bland. I had the mushroom pie. Considering it had truffle sauce, truffle salt and truffle oil, you'd think it'd taste of truffles. You'd be wrong. I wanted to salt it, and I'm not a person who uses a lot of salt. My husband had the "Slice of Italy" pie, with hot soppresotta. Sauce was bland, no seasoning to it at all. No heat in the soppresotta. And the crust? No chew to it at all. Nothing was bad, but it wasn't particularly good. All in all a completely non-descript meal.

I purchased dinner for my family at Crust last night based on the great Yelp reviews. As per usual, Yelp didn't steer me wrong. The food was excellent and the prices were reasonable (for The Birkshires). We ordered (online) several pizzas and a salad. The food was ready FAST and the flavors, amounts of toppings and presentation was ON POINT. We picked up the food and enjoyed it in our rental. We thoroughly enjoyed everything. We are foodies - my wife and children cook seriously good food all the time and when we're away from home we always look for good eats that inspire us. CRUST delivered! The crust, as advertised, was phenomenal (crisp on bottom and full of flavor). But the crust didn't steal the show- it worked in perfect consort with the generous toppings. A nice surprise were all of the finishes offered on each pie at no extra charge (basil, balsamic glaze, pesto, Reggiano, etc). The owner and staff obviously care about making great food and the customers are the beneficiaries. If you're looking for great pizza and salads, look no further- CRUST is the place to go!
