Friends of Eater Miami Share Their Saddest Restaurant Closure of 2023 | Eater Miami

"I was bummed when Crust got sold — there was a magic Klime and Anita had, and much like that friend who changed after big life moves, it’s just not the same." - Olee Fowler

We’ve come here for years, and occasionally they would mess up or order. Yesterday was a different story. I called to order our usual, the Ana, and showed up 15 minutes later. They told me they couldn’t make the pizza they agreed to on the phone because their menu had changed. I asked if they remembered what toppings were on it and we could build it. They could not. When I ordered a different pizza, they said it would be the next one in the oven. It was not. 30+ minutes later, I got the worst pizza we’ve possibly ever gotten. It was mostly dough with a tiny bit of cheese and sauce in the center. They never offered anything nor tried to help. After years as loyal customers, we won’t be coming back.

It's such a nice spot. I love the atmosphere, they have great deals on social hour, and the service is always a pleasure to experience. The food is so delicious and they really know how to make their customers feel at home. This is a winner across the board to me. Also, as soon as you step into the building, it transports you from a boring strip mall feeling to a modern chic pizzeria from another country. I get very cottagecore vibes here, and it is so approachable and inviting for this particular neighborhood.

Overall Crust is a great spot for any occasion. Vibe is cool for a chill date, family or group event and perfect for the game with your crew. Service is A+ which is hard to find these days and the pizza is the best I’ve had in San Diego since I can remember. My father in law from Buffalo NY raved about it and that guy knows pizza, beer and wings. Scott the manager was so accommodating and really just a great dude. Good food, beer and scene! Highly recommend!

For the first time since we've lived in North San Diego County (7 years), we ventured out to try a restaurant down the coast from us, in Solana Beach. The only reason we chose this restaurant was that we used our REPEGS app to search for a local business we hadn't tried yet and we are SO glad we did. Even though we thought it was closed when we pulled up to park, we were happy to find not only that they were open (on a Sunday around 2pm), but that they have an amazing "reverse happy hour" (the host called it). We had a 10" pizza (perfect for the 2 of us), caesar salad, and calamari and it was ALL delicious. We shall return and refer to friends, AFTER we make sure they download REPEGs, so they can save money supporting this local business, AND help a local charitable organization. Winning X 3 ways!

Google
Best Happy Hour and bartenders in North County. The pizza crust is Roman Style and done properly. Food is delicious, upscale sports bar feel. Nice size private room for small private events available too.

Google
I was in a pinch and called Crust for 14 large cheese pizza's the next morning at opening. 1. The pizza was delicious! Everyone was asking where it was from. 2. The manager was very helpful with our request. This will be our go to place from now on!

A great neighborhood pizza place and sports bar. Multiple TVs with plenty of games on during football season. Super tasty pizzas. The remodeled indoor-outdoor rooms are great for a private pizza party event.

Google
1/5 stars Overhyped and underwhelming experience at this pizza place. After a long day at the beach, we were looking forward to a great meal, but our server's unwelcoming attitude and lack of knowledge about the menu set the tone for a disappointing evening. The 'build your own' kids pizza was a mess. Despite the menu saying 'build with cheese or pepperoni,' our server asked us to add toppings, which we did (broccoli, in this case). The description clearly states "build it at the table" however our son was not able to have that experience as the pizza was made and brought out with the rest of our food. When the bill came, we were charged for a full-priced pizza with added toppings, inflating the price from $12 to $17.50. When we pointed out the mistake, the server tried to brush it off and didn't even bother to adjust the price as promised. Not to mention, the kids meal states they come with drinks but we had to remind our waitress for drinks way after ordering their food. To make matters worse, the dessert menu was outdated, and we were misled about the beignets coming with ice cream. The whole experience felt like a money grab, and we left feeling frustrated and ripped off. But that wasn't all - the bathrooms were unacceptable with no toilet paper or paper towels in sight. And to add insult to injury, we came in hoping to catch a main event fight on TV, but the TVs were a joke. Two of them had a free trial promo going on instead of the fight, and the one TV that was showing the event had no sound. It was like they didn't even care about their customers' experience. $120 for subpar service, food, and amenities? No thanks. Unless you enjoy being taken advantage of, avoid this place.

Yelp
There are places you go for food--and then there are places you go for the feeling. This spot? It's absolutely the second kind. From the moment I walked in, I was wrapped in warmth, kindness, and a vibe that felt like family. And at the heart of that experience were two unforgettable people: Carter and Faith. Carter, with his easy charm and genuinely caring energy, made us feel like we'd been friends for years. Every interaction was thoughtful, and his smile never faded--not once. Faith, the hostess with the most welcoming presence, greeted us like we were guests in her own home. Her attention to detail and joy in what she does radiated through every word and gesture. Together, they turned an ordinary outing into a moment we'll be talking about long after we left. But it wasn't just them--every single worker had a smile on their face and a helping hand ready. I asked a million questions (as I do), and not once did anyone act inconvenienced. They answered every one with patience, kindness, and genuine excitement about their food--and wow, the food! Absolutely phenomenal. Every bite was a flavor explosion, and the creativity in the menu names added such a fun and unique twist. You can tell this place was built on heart, humor, and a love for community. It's not just a restaurant--it's a gathering place, a good energy generator, and a reminder that great service and great people make all the difference. This place is officially a new favorite. Thanks, Carter, Faith, and the whole amazing team--you've got something truly special.

Yelp
Trying out this place for the first time on a Saturday evening. The menu (design) is really awful and hard to follow. They have pizza listed on one side and then upon flipping another section of pizza. Words of all sizes and many different fonts, all randomly placed about. No consistency. The laminated 11x17 felt cheap and could easily use an update. Now about the food. The chicken Marsala did not taste fresh. I'm not sold that the sauce was homemade as it tasted very sugary. Besides coming out luke-warm, and the capellini it was served with being watery and very little flavor (I had to dump a bunch of grated Parmesan on it) , it satisfied as a meal. The brocolli looked great and bright green but undercooked and no flavor. Tried the meatball sliders and don't know how to describe them. Strange texture, too many things going on with sauce and meatball flavor. These things should be simple not complicated. The price for the pizza is outrageous. 10" pie with three toppings was $25! Vegans cheese addition to another pie was $7.50 more making that pie $38. Too much for a local pizza shop. Won't return.

Yelp
This place is all about the vibes. It's family friendly and a great place to gather with friends. The service is a hit or miss. We've been here more than a few times to know this but again, this is a place to go with friends. The waitress sometimes get the orders right but most often things get forgotten. They don't write the order down which I think leaves room for errors. I've asked for the dressing on the side and it still comes mixed in my salad. The food is average and the menu is extensive and they just revamped it. They do have a kids menu so make sure to ask for that. Again, sometimes they give it to you and sometimes you have to ask. The inside is spacious but it can get loud especially during game days.

Brandon V.

Yelp
We went into the place excited as it's hard to find a restaurant that serves gluten free pizza. The pizza was good, but my main problem here was with the server. She was just rude and did not attend our table to ask us how the food was, if we needed refills, etc. The amount of times she walked right by our table and ignored us was ridiculous. Even all the other staff would pass by our table and stare at our cups and proceed to walk by. I know we have our own designated server, but she was too busy serving the large party in the middle. She kept their wine glasses full, meanwhile couldn't give us a second of attention. The one time she filled one of our glasses was when I placed it at the end so it was visible. She filled one up then left to attend the large party again. Was just a very bad experience. There was so much with little people inside, so you would expect an okay experience.

Yelp
Sometimes on game days it could be hard to get service but the girls try hard. They've got so many great specials for game times different days of the week. They're Brussel cauliflower platter is so good. They're little sliders are good with meatballs and their pizzas are great. I would skip the cauliflower crust pizza or the gluten-free pizza it's really bland. They make great drinks, their wine specials are really inexpensive. Great football crowd but like I said it does get really busy and really noisy but they've got plenty of good food and Cocktails.

Yelp
We used to live close to this place and went quite a bit, so when my wife was having her hair done close to Crust all I could think of was that pie there are very few places down in this north county area, where the pizza is exactly how I like it. Thin crust, great ingredients, all fresh, and a variety of how those ingredients are put on the pie. I'm not a big fan of mushrooms or red onions and Scott the manager gets that. So you walk out with exactly the pie and the flavor profile that you want that for me makes a great pizza and a great experience. That's the takeout part. If you're gonna to eat at crust get ready cause it's a party, there's something going on every night and it's really fun. So great pizza great drinks and great fun. That is a win.

Yelp
Visiting from out of town. Found this place on Google. Came in during happy hour and Scott was the only server working and it was fairly busy. He took care of us right away and service was amazing! Pizza was delicious! We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Run don't walk in..... the other direction!!! Pasta- no good, salad- "saved for later", meatball sub- mid. Sausage and chicken- big no!

Yelp
Probably my favorite place to stop for lunch throughout the week! They serve the biggest slice of pizza i've ever seen, incredible happy hour specials but what I honestly love the most is the people that work and come here. The regulars here are the best, the owner always says hi and Scott (the bartender) always makes my day. If you want to go where the locals go, this is your spot. Great food and you are surrounded by even better people. 10/10 recommend.

Yelp
Food here has always been awesome. But literally just walked in, got sat, and was ignored for 30+ minutes. Was hungry and tired, and honestly, just disappointed to be ignored, especially as a frequent patron who tips well. Will not be coming back.

Yelp
Food: 4 Service: 5 Ambiance: 5 The outside might look unlikely, but the inside of the restaurant has the completely opposite vibe! It was giving classy sports bar. Everyone who worked there gave off great energy, and I felt comfortable being honest with them. All the food was delicious and things I would order again. The wings were the star of the meal. Described as sweet and spicy by our server - I could've eaten them all day The garlic bread with the ravioli was pleasantly soft and flavorful without being overpowering. The Brussels sprouts came in a very large portion and very crispy and tender. Unfortunately, our pizza came out with burnt crust (on the bottom so cannot be seen in the photo). Because of this, I couldn't really taste any of the flavors in the pizza. We told our server and she kindly didn't charge us for it. Overall, would have given this a 4.5 if I could. I want to go back and give the pizza another shot, but also to try the other menu items !

Yelp
My only regret is taking so long to finally eat here. This is some great pizza in north county! Not to mention incredible crave worthy wings, and stand out drinks. This is a review of the solana beach location. Mojo makes great manhattans. I had 3. We ordered the sambal honey wings and they were cooked the way I like wings. Nice and fried, fall apart with crisp, then spicy and sweet sauce, not over sauced either. Had the Kelly pizza which is pep sausage and mushrooms, and the chicken pesto. Both were awesome. Their crust really is next level. We did 10"s. It was sturdy, crispy on the bottom, chewy middle texture, nice and flaky, held the topping really well. They are pretty generous with protein and toppings as well. Sauce has a good flavor, quality ingredients. Overall I highly recommend this to anyone looking for casual pizza and bar food with atmosphere with TV's, attentive staff, employees who want their patrons to have a nice experience and come back. Really, really clean interior and restrooms as well. I will for sure be back. Shout out Scottie and Mojo! My Only regret, was not taking pictures, guess I'll have to go again!

Yelp
Generally a fan of crest. It's pretty consistent and the atmosphere is casual with a little bit of sports bar field because of the big TVs and the rousing cheers when the Padres play well. For this evening we got pizzas, meatballs and a chicken marsala with a wedge salad for appetizer. I think the salad might've been the best thing but it cost $16.50 and it came with chicken. We did not want the chicken on our salad but they continue to charge us the same price. A chicken breast upgrade to a salad is seven dollars so it would've been nice to get a little discount on that. Pizzas were just fine. They have a thinner crust and it looked well cooked. I did not try it tonight but I've had it in the past and it was good. My husband and our friend both finished theirs up My Marsala had two chicken breast half s that were battered and coated in a lovely mushroom sauce. That the end of the meal the sauce did separate so it was pretty oily. Flavor wise it was fine but only the top chicken breast had any sauce or mushrooms. The bottom would had nothing and there was not nearly enough sauce on the plate to go around. I also get a side of cappellini with the marsala and it had no sauce whatsoever. Just some Parmesan cheese on it that was obviously fresh cut but it just coagulated onto my pasta. If I got again I would certainly ask for some kind of sauce for my noodles. Also came with broccoli which was a good portion and extremely well cooked. No mushy broccoli here! Service was OK. Super friendly though we did have a couple of things forgotten she was accommodating and nice. Easy to come back here though because overall it's a pretty stress-free environment and the food's been pretty consistent.

Yelp
Ordered via Door Dash and the Caesar salad arrived with no dressing. Called the restaurant and hostess was quite rude. Said to complain to Door Dash; there was nothing they could do. No apologies and no contrition. Very disappointing.

Yelp
Fast service a lot of cheese on my pizza which I like . Maybe one more two minutes in the oven . I like a little crispier crust . The taste is very good

Cole C.

Yelp
Our waitress, Serena, was outstanding. It was very busy but she was still very attentive and kind and got us whatever we needed. On top of that the food came out very quick and was delicious! I highly recommend the chicken wings and their new S'more's Pizza for dessert, outstanding!
google avatar

Arama K.

Yelp
Crust has grown on me a good local pizzeria and pasta spot plus a good sports bar location to have a pint with your mates. The pizza are consistent and the Rosa style penne with salsiccia is a really good comfort food dish. Servers are great - fast and friendly with a smile. I don't give many 5 stars but for the value it's excellent. Keep crushing it Crust!
google avatar

Yelp
Really good pizza and great service even though it's crowded, 10/10 would recommend. Ambience is loud but it's still great

Yelp
My cousin Shawna have a weekly meet up here and enjoy the happy hour. The manager and staff are so happy and helpful. This is a true neighborhood pizza and sports hang out plus after game kids parties have a back room to have fun and celebrate in.

Yelp
Crust is one of our favorite places to eat in Solana Beach! Our family eats here at least once a week! There's so many options, pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, they have a really great lunch menu! The service is always great! I love that this family, friendly restaurant is so good to the community! They have separate rooms, so you can have a bar atmosphere, or sit on the outdoor patio. They even have a private room you can rent out for events. We love this place!

Franco H.

Yelp
good product - horrible service. the female manager was concerned with socializing and checking her phone opposed to helping customers with their orders. literally waited 10 min to order two sodas then another 14 min for our order to be taken, when the business was not busy. The only people working were the busser and the pizza maker. If you provide great service then your pizza may be worth the cost.

Chris K.

Yelp
Great service for large soccer party. Food was delicious. Clean and well kept restaurant.
google avatar

Marc P.

Yelp
I got the house salad with chicken as a dinner to go. All the ingredients were quality, and the delicious feta-oregano vinaigrette absolutely made the meal. But, I found the $19.50 + tax/tip for a to-go salad a bit on the pricey side.

Karen V F.

Yelp
Food was excellent, service is outstanding and the ambience is perfect. I don't know what to say.
google avatar

Keith A.

Yelp
Great kids pizza special. Usually easy to get a table. We like the Brussel Sprouts appetizer. Friendly staff, great salads and delicious pizza.

Lana S.

Yelp
Went there with a friend on Friday night. We got a table quickly but waited a long time for a server. Ordered a salad, she ordered pasta and I ordered a pizza. The salad came almost immediately, followed quickly by the pasta. 20 minutes later, my pizza had not arrived, and my friend's pasta was getting cold. The server stopped by and when I pointed out the problem, she said they were really backed up for pizzas. Only after I asked, did she take the pasta back and put it under the warmer. My friend was too polite to say anything, and said it tasted fine when I finally got my pizza and her plate was returned. My pizza was ok, but the sauce and toppings were not spread very close to the edges, so there was lots of naked crust. Maybe on a slower night, or as takeout, it would be ok. I just wish the server had said how long it would take for the pizza, and figured out to hold the pasta. A bit disappointing. And VERY noisy. Not likely to return.

Yelp
Had to update my 1 star review, I think it was the pandemic that gave them service issues. They are back to great servers and bartenders with excellent service! Food and menu is the same, delicious pizzas, salads and pastas. Our favorite is the white pizza/Jennifer, fresh ingredients and delicious thin crust. Their signature pizza are great as well, pesto with chicken, feta, artichokes and spinach is delicious. Appetizers from crunchy artichokes, hummus, fried calamari, wings are all great. They have a dozen fresh salads, Caesar and caprese is good, chopped salad and Solana are excellent. Very casual setting with bar, communal tables and other tables. Friendliest bartenders and servers!

Sandra W.

Yelp
Been here 3 times. Pizza okay, crust I yummy... hence the name! way over priced to add just one item and they put a few pieces of that item on for several dollars, no one who works there smiles or seems happy to be working there. Overall good is generally OK... but what does that really say for the pricing on things these days. Everything in Solana Beach is overpriced! I have always been very "please and thank you" at every restaurant I go to..and understanding of working in restaurants since I did it for 6 years. Maybe just don't go in on a Sunday! Still tipped 20% although they charged and put NO PEPPERONI on the PiZza i could go on and say they were understaffed... but 3 times over a year.. I live across the street and wont go back! 3rd time was not "a charm" I'm sure they have great days and better service and chefs behind the counter who won't forget pepperoni on a pepperoni bell pepper pizza .. but come on!!!Really

Yelp
There's a Crust nearby my office off Mira Mesa Blvd., which made this location a bit surprising when I found it so close to home. Still, with a son in tow, fresh from the park, who loves him some chicken wings and pizza, coming here felt like a safe bet. And while my opinion is skewed by my admiration of their sister location, I still have to say that their Solana Beach spot is a step down. And sadly, it was mainly because of those wings. After seeing them on the menu (or possibly the 'specials' board), I knew my son would be ecstatic at having a plate of his own wings. They have quickly become one of his top five favorite things to eat after first having them at Schooner Station and they are pretty much his go-to dish (replacing mac & cheese) whenever we go out somewhere. What arrived on our table failed to impress even his five year old standards. Six small wings, lightly sauced, served on a large, white plate. They had little meat, the taste had little heat, the meat itself was a bit dry and stringy (as if they had once been frozen and left under the heat lamps a bit too long), and the size was difficult to accept given the high cost of the appetizer. My son still chowed them down, having never met a chicken wing he didn't like, but I swore to myself to never bring him back to satisfy his chicken lust ever again. The pizza, on the other hand, was on-point, as can be expected from Crust. We chose a simple Pepperoni and Sausage, and the crust had a very light flavor, salty with a flour dusted after-taste, and the sweet caramelization of a mild burn to the bottom of it. The meats on top were nicely salty with a light heat, and weren't overly greasy to the point where the crust beneath melted in dripping oil. As like all other pizzas I've had at Crust, very top notch and worth coming back for. Still, with a son typically by my side while in Solana Beach, we may stick with Bongiorno's down the street while I sneak away to the Crust on Carmel Mountain when flying solo.

Yelp
Been a couple years and usually it does take 5 minutes to get seated even in a nearly empty restaurant, no different yesterday at least 5 minutes. Another 5 - 10 minutes to get a server to your table, need way more servers, most are overworked and can't handle the volume of tables. Food is good, service is hit our miss just very slow. Bartenders are very good. However, one bodybuilder waiter with the hat (usually there all the time) was not in a good mood (very hit or miss on the mood with him - just ok to angry) seemed rude to every table and just did not want to be there. I think he forgot this is a service establishment. Probably a better attitude if he was at the gym. Everyone has bad days but in the service industry you have to mask the bad your representing a well established local establishment with a good reputation.
google avatar

Katie A.

Yelp
"Meh. I've experienced better." is probably the best way to describe this place... at least for the time that I went. Food lacked flavor but the staff was incredibly cheery and awesome. The most shocking part of the experience was that we sat in the back of the restaurant, and there were SO many fruit flies!!!!! I feel bad for calling the restaurant out for this, but they have to get those little guys under control. They were swarming our table. I ordered the beet salad. Which was A-OK but not great. Comes with blue cheese, candied walnuts, and two kinds of beats. The crispy artichoke appetizer wasn't bad. But still not great. Perhaps we came on an off night? I think it's still a place people should try out for themselves given the overall yelp rating they have.

Gary M.

Yelp
Great friendly staff , easy parking. Great happy hour menu and the Wednesday 50% off wine bottles is a winner for those of us who sip a bit. The food especially the pizza ROCKS . The Sports coverage is also a nice addition with the TV's. There is a side room used for parties that routinely have youth groups/athletes and Parents sharing a catered buffet spread. It is always nice to see them and the camaraderie that exudes. It may well be the Solana beach equivalent of "Cheers " in Boston with a view and real menu! Go and have fun!

Yelp
summer 2021 i have friends who love to come here ...like a LOT. I had never been. The mister and i had some time to kill (like 2 hours) in solana beach. I generally would go sit at Carruth, but i decided to give this place a try. we pulled up to the bar (it had been quite some time since we have been able to do this!) i had 1 drink and he has a couple beers. we ordered a few snacks to share and everything was enjoyable. I wouldn't say its the best meal i've ever had but its a solid place to have a happy hour with friends. oh...my teens love the mac n cheese here...they talk about it often

Yelp
This is a regular stop for me, mostly because of the service/the people, the quality meal, and I love the bar. It's a reasonable price for a very good quality, and it's the type of place you want to make your regular go-to. First, the people are as good as it gets. From bartenders, the wait staff, and especially the folks that greet you at the door when you walk in, you always feel at home. Always. I remember I discovered this place during the height of the pandemic, and they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. It's never changed since day one. Whether it's a more intimate Wednesday night crowd, or the place is packed for a big game, the service is always top notch. I am always amazed at how much time the staff takes with everybody individually. They serve you your food hot and timely, and stay attentive to you throughout your entire stay. All the food I have had here is good. I can't say enough about the Penne Sausage! I really need to have tried more things, and I think I will in the years to come, but right now I'm on a jag with this dish. Sausage has just the right amount of spice, always served piping hot with a creamy red sauce that is delicious. Smart enough to give you freshly baked bread for mop up duty; come hungry, because you will need the space. By the time I'm done with this dish they can take my plate and put it right back on the rack. No cleaning required that thing is so cleaned off! I have tried other things here, the Caprese salad, the brussels sprouts, the wings, it's all good in the Solana Hood. The bar area is just great. They have outdoor seating, indoor seating with plenty of open windows and doors to let the California weather in. But, I love the bar area. People, the servers are so wonderful here, that it becomes infectious to the regulars and not so regulars who enjoy Crust. I'll give it five stars on food, service, drink, value. Plenty of parking easy in and out off the five. I honestly have nothing bad to say. Enjoy!

Love this place, great service, great food, fun atmosphere. Perfect for a casual date, for families and often you will see kids sports teams there. This is a consistent go to place for us. The Kelly Pizza is fantastic. Also love the brussels and cauliflower mix.

Yelp
What a fabulous dining experience!! As soon as you come through the door you are greeted with a huge smile!! The place was clean, the food was spectacular and the atmosphere was electric!!! You can watch all sorts of sports and share a great beer from their brew selection. The service was what prompted me to write this review. Quick, polite and always approaching you with a friendly smile!!. One of the few places in Solana Beach that makes you feel like they want you at their dining establishment!! Thank you Crust staff for making this guys dinner absolutely fantabulous!!

Yelp
I decided I wanted pizza for dinner on National Pizza Day! (of course) I had already been to another Crust location and enjoyed it so I thought it would be good to check out the one close to my new house. It is a huge space, great for big parties. There happened to be a big party there the night my husband and I went. And they had another big party that had just left. So it took quite a bit of time for us to get our food and drinks. The service, however, was great. They were very nice and very apologetic to us for having to wait. They even offered us a free app (we got a dessert instead) and a free 2nd round of drinks (we declined.) The pizza is really good. I ordered the Hawaiian pizza, the Leilani, and it had lots of pineapple on it! The crust was the best part about it, not too doughy and not too thin. My husband got a plain cheese, which he really liked. They also brought us dough triangles with a red dipping sauce. So yummy! The dessert was a lava cake with ice cream. Super yummy! I also really enjoyed my drink. It was called The Deuce and it tasted like an alcoholic Arnold Palmer. I would definitely go back and check it out again. They have happy hour and a large bar in the main room. There are also tons of TVs so this would be a great place to watch sports.

Yelp
My friend and I ate here for happy hour recently on a Monday. The wine was excellent! We also enjoyed the calamari, which was prepared so authentically. Finally, the pizzas are all amazing! Even though it was a busy night and we were told that service would be slow, we really felt taken care of. We also thought that the food came out in a timely fashion despite the warning of service being slow. This is a great neighborhood hang out!

Yelp
With the number of kids running around on a Friday night it felt like Pizza port. The problem is the noise was not offset by a good beer choice or good pizza. They had Sculpin but the carbonation was off. And the happy hour food is a scam if you don't choose the $2 off pizza. Half price for half servings (HH = $6 for 6 wings. Menu = $11 for 12 wings)? I guess the restaurant thinks its customers can't do math. Pretty sure we won't be back.

Yelp
Delivering pizza, pasta, salad, chicken strips and more to the beach for a family of 8 without utensils, napkins, plates, chili peppers or parm cheese is a huge fail on your part...our children were eating salad with their fingers... Next time use common sense and common courtesy and listen to your customers requests!!!

Yelp
Best pizza in Solana Beach. Service is great too! So many other food items to choose from. Love all the food!

Yelp
The pizza here is so good! The crust, as the name indicates, does not disappoint. It is crispy, not too thick, and topped with SO MUCH CHEESE. My mouth just watered thinking about it. I also had the meatball, which comes with the most amazing sauce, and also their brussel/cauliflower dish is SSSSOO good. Like, veggies at a pizza place? YES. Trust. Also, more importantly, they have a FULL bar. WOOT! For large groups they have rooms in the back, and it's also a great place for mixers. Will have to come back!

Yelp
The Pizza had a decent crust and that's it. Hardly any sauce, virtually no pineapple or sausage and Very little pepperoni, so another words hardly any toppings whatsoever. Definitely not worth the price

Yelp
Bottom crust of pizza totally burnt. Inedible!! Soggy on top , burnt on the bottom. Not worth the price. So disappointing. First time. Last time! Manager called and going to compensate total bill! Apologized ! Now that's the way to run a business!
