Crust Pizzeria

I met up with family in the nearby Oak Openings and we had some technical issues with our grill so we came into town for pizza and I don't mean to act like expectations were low because they weren't, but they were exceeded. Thanks to a child in the group attempting to dissect the pizza we were able to conclude each individual component was delicious - the crust, sauce, cheese, and toppings - as well as the whole thing together.

The service was great, the food was delicious, and we love the atmosphere. My beer didn't taste right and they went above and beyond to fix it. Fabulous night out.

This place was great! We sat outside because we had our dog with us. The waitress was so sweet and brought him some pepperoni. Food was fantastic - particularly the pesto dip! We're only this are a couple times a year for camping, but we'll definitely be back!

WOW, you have to.order your food warm and cooked if it's a to go order that could melt the container. THEY SAID I HAVE TO ASK FOR WARM Meatballs when you place an order to go. Second time this has happened so make sure you take your oven to work with you when you order something that needs to be warm or baked.

Updated 11/15/24 First time visiting. Nice selections. Really good pizza. Service was excellent. Pizza is a personal opinion. I may say the best, someone else may complain. I suggest based on experience and taste give this place a try. I'm going back for 2nds tonight :)) .... who knew they also have other selections, like cheesecake 😋 I've now been to Crust Pizzeria several times. Every time is as good as the last and better. I have tried several options available. A+ on creativity!! I had the Nashville Hot Pizza .... very delicious!!! You would think the pickles would be a little different, but quite honestly, it added so much to the flavor! I can not talk highly enough of the staff! Very friendly and excellent service!! Highly recommend this place to you and your friends!!!

This is the second time I have ordered this and they got it wrong both times. I ordered the margerhita style and added mushroom and extra cheese on top and this is what I paid for. The arugula was one big sloppy handful on top. What’s really upsetting is we went over the order before I hung up. Very disappointing for the price…

Calvino's in Toledo has held the spot for my all time favorite pizza for 20 YEARS. Dare I say Crust Pizzeria has taken the title of my favorite pizza ever? I think so. So delicious. The meatballs were the best meatballs I've ever had. Smothered in marinara and cheese. The pizza was mouth watering. Great portions for the price. The pizza is even better the next day if you reheat it in the oven at 400° for 9 minutes. I live a half an hour away so I'm definitely going to be bugging my mom (who lives in Monclova) to go back when we come see her. 🙂😋 The waitress was nice as well. 1000% recommend.

What a lovely find! We had to find a quick lunch before a soccer game. I did a quick Google, and this place showed up. The vibe is like coffee shop meets pizza place. The menu was reasonably priced. $10 for the meatball appetizer. $10 for the small pizza. The pizza was good, warm, nothing extraordinary, but that doesn't mean it wasn't tasty! I plan on returning and trying the cheesecake. Crust seems like a place I would go with a group of friends for brunch as the drink menu seemed unique and varied. Oh! The best part, they were surprisingly quick to get our order out! We managed to get in and out in a little over half an hour. A very pleasant surprise. Can't wait to go back and review more of the items.

I have nothing but love for this little pizzeria! We stopped by for lunch today and wow! Beautiful decor, most wonderful service and the pizza was delicious! The crust...OMGOSH!! I highly recommend the Nashville Hot Chicken If you like a little kick!

It's easy to forget you're in Whitehouse Ohio as you glance around the interior of Crust Pizzeria. The Pinterest vibes are in full effect, and the pizza choices are interesting enough that you'll *almost* feel like you're in a big city. And while the details certainly feel well thought out, if not a little too obsessed over, there is a big miss when it comes to service and flavor. Yes, the Nashville hot pizza is on the spicy side, but even with the pickles, the flavor is suspiciously one note. Same for the 6 cheese pizza, which of course tasted of cheese, but nothing else came through. And even the "whipped" feta dip, which is topped with honey and an aggressive shake of chili flakes, on paper sounded interesting, but actually ended up being pretty bland. The dip is oddly served ice cold, keeping any flavor from coming through. The pizza's crust is unique and almost bread-like.. but it would greatly benefit from either a crust topper seasoning or even a garlic dipping sauce. Something... anything, to provide a little contrast and vibrancy to what otherwise was just boring. And speaking of boring, other than throwing menus our way, and dropping off our drinks, our waitress provided us zero interaction. No checking in to see if the food was good, or if we needed anything. Very unwelcoming. Kudos for the effort and vision of opening a hipster pizza spot in the middle of nowhere, but it could use some tweaking to the menu to really make it worthy of a second visit.

Can only comment on the carryout since we brought two large pizzas home and they were the best pizzas I've ever had in Ohio hands-down. I'm obsessed with going back. To go more into detail, it looked like Artisanal pizza. The crust was amazing and the toppings were totally high-end and very artsy. I can't wait to go to the restaurant.

This a new Pizzeria in my hometown. Stopped in on opening night and it was busy as expected. The food did not disappoint at all! The pizza's are amazing. We got the Green Machine, Nashville Hot, and Marcy's Margarita. Best pie I've ever had. I normally don't eat the crust (just my thing and don't care for it) and I ate the crust on this pizza. Nice and fluffy and not hard burnt end crust. We also got what they call the Kenna Cakes and OMG! It like a cup cake pizza to die for! Our server was Libby and she did an amazing job! Very polite and was on top of everything we needed or asked for with a positive attitude. We will be returning here for sure!

Went on a Sunday! Ridiculously good. We had feta dip, salad, pizza, and these muffin stuffed things that were amazing. I will def be back! And really well priced. Our server was awesome and place had a great vibe! I can't believe it took me this long to go!

We have been wanting to try this place and finally we went. So glad we did, the pizzas are amazing, so many different and unusual combinations! We shared the Southern Charm, an Italian salad and apple cheesecake. The salad was big, so glad we share and brought home some cheesecake. It was busy at 5:30pm, small place but worth the try. We'll be back.

Food is great when we have been before, but service is terrible. Four different servers watched us walk in, stand at the door waiting to see if it was sweet yourself, or if we would be seated. We took it upon ourselves to sit since no one came up. Multiple servers walked past us and stood behind the counter or cleaned other tables instead of coming to greet us after we sat ourselves. We eventually walked out after 10 minutes of no one acknowledging the fact that we walked in the door all while they looked at they were at ~20% capacity.

Great customer Service, very accommodating & facilities topping requests. Super stoked to try them since they opened.

Unfortunately, this is my second time having Crust and my second time with food poisoning. Despite the good food, the sickness following is not worth it. I would reconsider if you have a sensitive stomach.

This place has great food. Good portions. Great atmosphere. The bartender is super nice. The staff our very good at their jobs. Great experience every time a go. Highly recommended.

Great environment, excellent food and awesome service! You HAVE to try the pizza. Matt is such a passionate manager with a lively personality. I would DEFINITELY recommend this to anyone!

Let's just say...a 4-legged creature with wings. The place itself is nice, but bat. I mean, that.

I had the 10 inch pizza for the first time and it was delicious! The crust was so tender and crunchy at the same time. These employees are so happy to help and serve you, it makes a great experience all around. We've gone before but I always got a salad, which is also delicious! You've got to try them!

Like the cauliflower pizza crust the most. Nice sauce flavors and appetizers are good too. Lasagna good if you like meat sauce.

I've eaten here twice in the last week. Both times were phenomenal in both food and service. I am a pizza crust snob and I had high expectations of a place calling themselves "Crust".....and they do not disappoint. The crust is a perfect balance of chewy, ever so slightly crisp, and on the thin side without being a cracker. Absolutely perfect. On my first visit I sat in a bar seat and had a beer and ordered a pizza to-go. Double pepperoni with mushrooms. I expected canned shrooms and was amazed to find fresh, whole, buttons. The 10" pie gives 9 nice sized pieces. On my second visit, I took my family. We ordered an assortment of pizzas and all were amazing. And the large......is large! The toppings are generous without being so heavy they affect the bake. Indoor seating is plentiful even for a smallish, historic building, and outdoor seating with unique, wall-mounted umbrellas is available. The staff is attentive and friendly. I really cannot recommend this place highly enough.

This is an excellent pizzaria. The pizzas are loaded, awesome tasting, and served by a friendly, attentive staff. Big city pizza in a small town. Try the Carnivore or the Chicago. Both are of gut-busting size and flavor!

Person that took my order over the phone was very nice The place inside looks good The pizza was a little pricey. The pizza looks great but I thought the taste was lacking, kind of bland or neutral is the best way I can describe it.

Wife called me from work and said she was gonna order pizza for dinner. She said she wanted to try Crust since we live close and we haven't had it yet. She ordered for her and the kids and got a Carnivore specialty pizza for me. I like meat on my pizza. I got home late at night and as usual everyone else was in bed and my dinner was in the fridge. I took three pieces of the Carnivore, popped them in the microwave, and dare I say, even microwaved, I think it's the best pizza that I've ever had! The sauce, the crust, the toppings... !

I had high hopes...my husband had wanted to try since he read a review. We walked in and were not greeted so we just sat ourselves. I always ask for recommendations of the drink specials but the waitress had no clue as to what was in the specials. We started with the Bruschetta, which is one of our favorites. The bread was nicely toasted and toppings were great with an arugula garnish and balsamic glaze which was very tasty...the only bright spot of the evening. We ordered the "Roni" pizza, which featured a marinara sauce and 2 types of peperoni. When it arrived there was only cupped pepperoni and as mentioned in other reviews, the crust was very bland and should have been brushed with garlic butter or olive oil or something. The sauce was missing something...spices! I looked for something green in there but it looked tomato paste. Unfortunately it was just bland.

The restaurant is so welcoming and charming, right down to the littlest detail. The wait staff was so attenitive and all with a great smiles. But the best part was the FOOD. It was DELICIOUS. By far one of the best pizza's we have ever had. Can't wait to go back. We wish them the best success.
